But someone showed a pic of this and for some reason its not shown on Amazon or anywhere. It was a CD haven't seen the record version of it but could someone tell me where I could find this in music stores not the internet.

So on the front is the Big Bird Bert Ernie Elmo Grover and others around the words that say, "The Best of Sesame Street" ?

Yes. I had that as a child. They stopped making that in about 1992. The only way you could possibly find it is on ebay.

"The Best of Sesame Street" set that Scott linked from Time-Life isn't available from that many places. It originally sold throught PBS' Wireless and other related catalogues. Then a few years ago, Time-Life got their excess stock. It may be available somewhere else, but I am not aware of it.

It's worth getting as it has a good amount of tracks not available on any other CD release. Although I'm pretty sure some made their way over to the new 3 disc box.

I remember direct-response ads running on cable for that set back around 1998 or so.

Wow ... TL says it's no longer available.
