I live in Japan, and i been to Universal Studio Japan. But wahts strange is they have snoopy, WB, and now SS in this park!

The park By itself is really nice, but like Tokyo Disney land and Sea is tourist nightmare! Prices are high, quility of products are bad and the over rides and other events lack the carefree feeling of a friendly place to be. Adding the SS part is adding insult to a already over hyped or price park!

Wow, Bean. Sounds like all the theme parks are the same, then. Over-priced and over-rated.

The show times for the "Inside Universal Studios Japan" on the Travel Channel are:

Mar 27 2003
7:00 PM EST

Mar 28 2003
2:00 AM EST

Just in case you want to check it out to see if they show a bit about the "Sesame Street" part. I'll be watching it looking for "Snoopy" stuff as well...

SAd but true. I was washing to go back this year again, but I really did not feel like being disapointed again.

They license the characters out to create more of an interest for theme park goers! Like Disney-MGM has Muppet Vision 3D and the Star Wars thing, or 6 Flags has the Bugs Bunny thing going on.

How about this? Universal has a Beetlejuice and Ghostbusters show which are Geffen Company and Sony/Columbia properties, both of which are Universal's competition, right?

Why do you hate Looney Tunes. They were original cartoons. They were funny!!

Though, I did get tired of hearing folks ask for Bugs, Daffy, or Tweety when I worked at The Disney Store!!

Still, Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies are great; as are the original Mickey, Donald, Goofy cartoons Disney USED to do.

Six Flags is not owned by the WB anymore now it is owned by Premiere Parks. Premiere Parks licenceses the WB characters to be put in the park. Paramount Parks (Viacom) also licenceses the some AOL Time Warner characters (Hanna-Barbera) that have been at those parks before the WB even owned them especially Kings Island.
