I met Jason Mewes!!
Hey People. Yesterday I met Jason Mewes, the guy in all the Kevin Smith movies like Dogma, Clerks, Mall Rats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... I waited outside in the rain w/ some friends for about 4 hours and 45 minutes the see the cutie. It was sooo fun. Mewes looked like crap though, too many drugs I suppose. Dont do drugs!

Wicked!!!
I freakin' love Jason Mewes! He's so fantastic! I need a man like that (really I do, I practically am Jay XD) But seriously, you're so lucky! The only famous people I ever met were the Barenaked Ladies (when I was 10, and only cuz they were at Wild Water Kingdom that day too) and Simple Plan (and they were so weird, and I don't like them. One of them even asked me if he could sign my shoe... okay, he asked me, not the other way around. And I didn't even want him to, cuz they were nice shoes... but alas, I'm nice). And I don't even like those bands. I am seething with jealousy over here! ^_^ Debo |

Interesting how a guy can be the star of one of 2001's biggest comedies, yet still work at a comic store. Very cool! Anyways, cool ya got to meet him! Speaking of Clerks, check out the official 'sequel' to it online(short film) http://www.viewaskew.com/tv/leno/flyingcar.html brilliant! |

I'm sorry that you guys didn't get to meet him
. It was cool but he didn't talk much at all. He wasn't himself. The night before Mewes went to tons of clubs w/ my friend's friend's mom so I guess he was tired. I just wish he seemed sorta happy to sign autographs. Oh well. He posts at http://www.yogitime.com/wwwboard/wwwboard.html. And he may even call you if you leave your phone number. He's called tons of people so far.Jimmy didn't win a Grammy! ![]() Last edited by monkeymuppet : 02-23-2003 at 07:45 PM. |

I thought Mewes was still running from the law. Last I heard, he got arrested on drug charges, and fleed after posting bail. They didn't know where he was. I guess he cleared all that up, but I don't think he's cleaning up his hard drug addictions. Bummer.
