XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:

This January 14, I learned that Ricardo Montalban had passed away at age 88. Ricardo’s most famous acting roles where Mr. Roarke from Fantasy Island as well as Khan from Star Trek. In his later years, Ricardo started voicing cartoon characters, including villains like Senor Senior Sr. from Kim Possible and Guitierrez from Freakazoid! May you RIP, Mr. Ricardo Montalban and thank you for bringing us such memorable characters. :cry:

That news really breaks my heart, he was a great actor and seemed to be good natured and humble when he spoke in interviews. Truly unique, literally no one could replace him. :smile:

I do remember he said he admired the Planet of the Apes series because they didn't have the typically happy endings. Yet the endings weren't just to make people sad but that, that's just the way it is sometimes.
