XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:

A week ago, Michael Bell had turned 70, so I’m making him today’s V/A focus. Michael was an actor and voice artist who had performed a lot of characters for many years. You might’ve seen him as a bunch of different aliens in the Star Trek series. Michael was really famous for his voicework on shows like the Smurfs, Snorks, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Darkwing Duck, and Rugrats. Happy birthday, Mr. Michael Bell.

When I heard Stokey speak, I thought he sounded a lot like Michael Bell and I found it was when the credits rolled.

I like Chas from Rugrats. The way he looks and acts like his son, Chuckie.

Awesome seeing them reading the script like that, Makes me wish I had some earphones to here it.

This is a great focus! And among Mr. Bell's terrific credits, it's always so cool for me to see so many of these voice artists who did work on Captain Planet and the Planeteers. I used to love that show when I was a kid! (Linka was my favorite, hehe) So it's really fun to get to know it, the voice artists and the guest voice artists a little better now.
