XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:

This week's V/A focus is Maurice LaMarche. He started out voicing for Canadian cartoons and then moved over to U.S. cartoons. He's voiced all sorts of funny and popular characters. Probably his most famous voice was The Brain from Pinky and the Brain. What I like about Maurice is he can voice any celebrity you can think of, which is why he did celebrity voices for D.C. Follies and The Critic. I really like it when he does Orson Wells, Bing Crosby, Kirk Douglas, Richard Nixon, and Robin Williams. And one time on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Maurice made an appearance as a live action Inspector Gadget and is now the new voice of Gadget.

Now there's another voice over artist I enjoy.

Don't forget, he did various voices on Cow and Chicken/I am Weasel.

If I'm not mistaking, he substituted for Howard Morris as the voice of Flem in one episode of Cow and Chicken.

Wow, I didn't know that. I have noticed that Flem had been making less appearances in the later Cow and Chicken episodes.

Really? I don't think I saw Maurice's name in the closing credits. Actually, I heard there were quite a few guest voice artists in Drawn Together who also weren't credited.

Yes, I believe I heard Maurice voice a magic Krakken. He sounded like Orson Wells.
