Not too long ago, when remembering shows I watched back in the good ol' days (which wasn't too too long ago, in retrospect), I realised that most of the shows I watched when growing up were puppet shows. I think that alot of these may have just been Canadian shows, I'm not sure. Anyone else in the same boat, or watched any of these shows as well? Ah, the memories.

Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, Sesame Park
Mr. Dressup
Under the Umbrella tree
Eureka's Castle
The Friendly Giant
Mr. Rogers
Today's Special
Bookmice
Lamb Chop's Play Along

I watched (Still):

Sesame Street
Mr. Rogers
Lamb Chop's Play Along (If they can keep Mr. Rogers, why not this? It was a cool show. So what if the actress is dead? So is Rogers!)
Between the Lions
The Puzzle Place (What ever happened to this show? It was really popular then just went poof!)
Barney (Well, you know, in the not so old seasons, but still old they had the Bird and the Squirrel, what ever happened to them anyway?)
Allegra's Window (It was on NickJr. This soon went poof too)

There was soo many other I bet, but these are the ones I remembered.

"Kukla, Fran, and Ollie", "Hot Fudge Sundae", and "Friends on Wooster Square."

Anyone else remembers these old and obscure puppet shows?

GeeBee, I haven't heard of those. :frown:
Jessica, I agree with you, they should at the least still air it in reruns. That show was great! And punny. Charlie Horse...

Do you mean "
HOT FUDGE SHOW (1976) "

Friends on Wooster Square
A lively group of puppets with personality plus, together with Grace and other "real people" who live in Wooster Square impart basic moral concepts in an entertaining style that makes learning fun.

I Don't recall this but it made me remeber a show on Odyessy channel ( Religious) GILBERT

"Kukla, Fran, and Ollie" I KNOW THIS ONE

Yes, that was a classic. I don't remember a lot of specifics about the show's content, but I sure remember watching it regularly on TV. I always loved the way the puppets look.
