I know it took place in a yellow background but...

(1) What happens in this sketch?

(2) How is it?

(3) If there's ending music in there, how does it go?

Three questions please.

Hmm, there was a sketch from 1970 (or maybe 1971) with Grover and Herbert Birdsfoot counting to 20, and in that one, Herb would recite each number, and Grover would repeat after him. I bet the ABCs one was the same way.

Good one fuzzygobo. That made me laugh hard!
Of course, knowing SS, there was probably some humorous aspects in this skit too, rather than that they simply said, "Hey let's say the alphabet." "Okay." "A..B..C.......Z" The end! Like in the skit "Ernie counts to ten" one thing that sure happened was Ernie counted to ten! But there's a ton more to it than that. He hilariously keeps starting over at the slightest distraction and Bert hilariously keeps getting more and more exasperated. Then when Ernie finally says "ten" he proceeds to start to say the alphabet! Causing Bert to lose it!
As far as this particular sketch goes though, I'm not sure what happens (other than that they probably do indeed recite the alphabet! :stick_out_tongue: ).
