Just curious if anyone on here is a big fan of the Sesame Street Martians?
There's four phrases I love in the Muppet universe..."mahna mahna, doot doo doo doot doot', 'meee meee moo', 'bork bork', and 'yip yip yip yip uh huh uh huh'.

I got inspired to put the sesame martians in my latest comic:

The last time I saw them was on Conan O Brien(staged, for the elmopalooza dvd in 1998) Have they shot any new scenes with em since then?
Also is there any Sesame Martian merchandise out there(like plushies?)

They actually have. One of them actually made an appearance in the first "Journey to Ernie," believe it or not. The one where he's in space.

Come on... who DOESN'T love these guys? They are most definately my faves of the weird artistic Puppet characters, you know not Frogs, Bears, Pigs, or people... the weird ones desgined specifically to be of imaginary species, like the Bossmen!

I guess if we plead enough, F4A may make action figures of them!

Yeah! Like the "what the heck" kind...the Two Bossmen rule...as well as the Snowths(space cows?), Scred from LOG/SNL, Droop/Nigel, etc.

another martian fan here! it was always great to see them in the Bert and Ernie skits.
so cool, everything would start shaking and they'd take off with the oatmeal.
mmm...oatmeal.
hey...that got me thinking...did bert ever see the martians?
i think ernie always saw them, but bert didn't believe him. can't remember.
:stick_out_tongue: :frown:
