I've decided to stop walking the dogs by myself. I can't keep going to the doctor for the damage to my body they cause. They heard a neighboring little rat dog barking at them and they took off ... and I had been holding their leashes and by now I bet the both of them weigh close to my weight and I bellyflopped right onto the street. I've got road rash on my hands and chest.

We got some more Christmas music in band class and it was titled "Christmastime is Here" and somebody asked if it was the Alvin and the Chipmunks song. It wasn't. Everyone in the classroom was a bit upset about that.

If it'll make you feel better, Kroger's got singing Alvin dolls on display right now - he's got a microphone, wearing a Santa hat, and when you press on his shoe, he singing "The Chipmunk Song" (Christmas Don't Be Late).

Seriously? That is so cool! We have a small chipmunk plush Christmas decoration that sings some Christmas song, but I can't remember which one. It might have been that song, but it might be "Jingle Bells" or something like that...

Also, I found out that my mom is giving us a science test this Tuesday, and I doubt that she'll move it, so that means I can't "be sick" and stay home from school to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street that day.

I haven't had Internet all day until just now. Meaning no MC, no NaNo, no research for that stupid World Studies essay.... *head explodes* I'm so dependent on computer usage and I fully recognize it is symbolic of my nonsocial life, but I need it like people need coffee.

I hate when that happens myself, but in all honesty, it doesn't bother me as much these days as it did in the past... as everytime I get back on, I realize that much less has gone on than I expected... not to mention, I've got other things going on in LIFE to keep me busy when I'm away from the internet.

Two things...

1. Indian Summer. 70 degree weather in NOVEMBER. Not cool.

2. I got an e-mail YouTube today - apparently the clip of Wimzie's House I posted over a year ago is a popular enough video that I'm elligible to collect a share revenue from it... in other words, they're going to plaster unsightly ads all over the page when you watch the video, and for every hit the video gets, I get a percentage of the ad revenue... which basically means, I'll be making money off of it... that ain't gonna happen for three reasons...
A.) I'm not about to annoy people with ads... ads on the video pages ain't kewl. Dat ain't kewl at all.
B.) That means, in a way, I WILL be making a profit off of copyrighted content, which defeats the whole purpose of the idea - not making money, and the original owners not losing money.
C.) They don't seem to realize I no longer support YouTube at all, I'm not about to share revenue with them now!

I mean, yes, I'm happy I've got a video that's received nearly 50,000 hits and all, but forget it.

Some people must though, as I've seen videos that aren't posted by Sesame Workshop's channel that have ads on them, like Patti LaBelle's Gospel Alphabet and Ernie's Adding Song to name a couple.

You know, in the last year or so, I can only name ONE update YT's done that was actually useful... the feature to pop the video player into a new window.

My favorite radio station would always do "Saturday Night Dance Party" where they would play 80's music and they had a game show called "Your Guess is as Good as Mine" (ex. "How big is the moon?" "1,000,000 pounds?" "Well, I'm no scientist, and your guess is as good as mine, you won!"). Apparently, they're not doing it anymore.
