Those old ladies I think are in Muppets Tonight and in Muppets From Space. One of the old ladies in that picture looks very similar to an old man character used in muppets from space and muppets tonight. Its confusing, are these the same characters?

Thanks, guys. Ever since I was reunited with the movie in the mid-90s I wondered who was in the big scene, but I never bothered with a list. It wasn't until one or two months ago that I got the DVD version, and I was ecstatic when I seen the movie in better quality. That's when I decided to make the list. The widescreen format of the movie was very helpful, and my DVD player had a zoom-in feature so I could see smaller images better.

I've seen all of the episodes that TMS released on video a few years ago, so I knew what the Whatnots looked like, as well as the monsters, pigs, and frogs. Some of them weren't very easy (mainly in the TMS back rows), so I tried to compare the movements of the puppets to other characters I'm familiar with. That's how I knew that Catgut and a few others were in the group. (Thorough, ain't I? :zany: )

Someday I hope I can find "The Muppet Movie" on DVD and complete the list of characters in the "Magic Store" finale. I've got a list made up, and a great picture from "The Art of the Muppets" that helped me identify many of them on the right side. So far, I haven't found the DVD yet. I'd also love to have "The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years" on DVD for a trade so I can get a list of those characters, but I did find some great pics from Barry's website (and Ryan Dillon's old Muppet website) of that special.

Ah, Robin in a tux. How cute.

Also, is Janice wearing a tux? I seem to remeber her in one.
