So, if you went to college and roomed with a Muppet, whom would you want for a roomie?

I think I'd take Rowlf ( :sympathy: ). He's cool in a laid-back way, so he wouldn't bother or annoy me (nor I him). We could kick back and have good talks and stuff, and I'd love writin' music with him and playin' pianos! :D

Sure thing, so long as the dumb waiter... wait a second, better make that an elevator with braille markings so that we can all use it to get from floor to floor. Oh, wait another second, would that mean that the hallway with Byron and Rowlf's room and Aaron and Ernie's room would be on the floor above Mokey and mine's room? Thought they'd all be on the same floor, the first floor, but it does sound kind of cool having our room on a floor below and have it connect via elevator to the other floors.

Well actually... if you read this thread from the beginning, you'd find that Dr. Bombay already got Kermit as its roommate in the Muppet College dormrooms. And though a limit on roomates hasn't been posted as of yet, everybody seems to be in general agreement that one roommate for each is the way to go. Aaron, you nut! Get out of that dumbwaiter and play in the elevator shaft instead.

A little bit more consideration for the construction of the dorms. We'd have to soundproof the rooms of all the people who bunk with musically inclined Muppets, so that the rest of us can sleep in peace. And the basement room shared by yours truly and Mokey would have to have an outwards facing window so that Lanford can get his daily recommended allowance of sunlight and my bats will have a way of escaping into the night sky for their nocturnal hunts. And it would also be a good idea to have that window in our room so that I can count all the lovely lightning and thunderclaps whenever it storms!

A haunted dorm, huh? Sounds cool! Your ghosties can stand in their own ectoplasmic void but it messes mine up when I try to use the omni-directional three-dimensional vectoring cadmium shielded computer for location analysis. It tells me which witch went which way.......it's quite useful for when Kermit and I want to throw a spooky party with Halloween almost here in two months. We're inviting some sexy witches and we gotta know where to send the invitations :crazy: :p BTW, you're all invited!

B. A dumbwaiter in the living room on both Floors 1 and 2 connect with each other next to the rooms shared by the Count and Mokey on Floor 1 and by Byron and Rowlf on Floor 2.
C. There's a living room space on both floors next to these two initial rooms.
D. The room shared by Erin and Ernie is down the hall on Floor 2 from the room shared by Byron and Rowlf.
E. The room shared by Daffyfan2003 and Bert is right next to the room shared by Erin and Ernie.
F. The dorm showers are located across from the room shared by Erin and Ernie.
G. The room shared by Dr. Bombay and Kermit The Frog is located on Floor 1.
H. The room shared by Squigiman and Gonzo is also located on Floor 1, across the hall from the room shared by Dr. Bombay and Kermit.
I. The room shared by Scooter (the MC member) and Scooter (the Muppet) is located on Floor 1.
J. The rooms shared by Kev and Floyd, Alex and Janice, and HeraLirambar and Zoot respectively are all located on Floor 2 next to each other and across from the room shared by Byron and Rowlf.



A few things I feel I need to clear up.
1 Muppet Dorm Supervisor: Janice & Mokey's Man (Byron).
Seems right to me, since after all he started this thread.
2 Muppet Dorm Acting Supervisor & Floor Layout Planner: Fozzie Bear (Kevin).
Got a few suggestions for you.
a. Put the dumbwaiter inside the living room's fireplaces.
b. Move the showers on Floor 2 to the end of the hallway, freeing up room for whoever bunks with Dr. Teeth and Animal finishing off the musicians row of rooms.
c. Place the room with the two Scooters next to the room with Dr. Bombay and Kermit.
d. Place the room with GonzoLeaper and Sam the Eagle in a corner room from where they can look down on all the sillyness they'd disapprove.
e. Place the room with aaron likes rowlf and the Newsman next to the main lobby, since he's already volunteered to serve as the bellboy.
f. Place the room with Erine81981 and the monsters on Floor 1 across from Mokey's and my room, just so long as they have an internal refrigerator in their room for Cookie's midnight snacks.

4 Anathema, where did you get that about me being a numerologist fetticist?!? Sure I love numbers, and sure I love to count out loud creating a portable thunderstorm wherever I do so, but hey that's no reason to say that I obsess over them.
5 Dr. Bombay...
a. Didn't get confused with avatar since I never saw it owing to my blindness.
b. Used the neutral "it" in the previous posts so as not to erroneously assign you an incorrect gender.
c. Maybe you'd like to borrow my MonsterMaker software to tell the difference between a witch, a hag and a crone, and other ghoulish beings and creatures.
d. If you're sending out invites to the Charmed Ones, remember to set the table for 4 cause Piper would mostly bring her newly born baby Wyatt.
e. If you need any help planning the menu, give me a call cause I got some good menu items like these.
Bat Burgers: Just grill up some burgers cut in the shape of bats, slathered in either ketchup or aiöli.
Black Widow Soup: Just regular black bean soup with sour cream cobwebs floating on top.

Oh no, the official title was...uh, well if I write it here it'll probably turn into a row of asterisks. This was at a Scottish uni, and we're not known for our subtlety. I went to Heriot-Watt University. It had a nickname. Two words, the first of which was "Hairy". I suspect I can't say the second word on here...

Now in my first year, the rep was, well, you know those "amusing" signs you see in certain types of shop which read "Credit will only be extended to persons over 90 years of age accompanied by both parents"? She could have qualified.

Kim, you and Red are always welcome to come down to our world and bunk out in the room next to our own. Though you might need a slide leading out of your room to the on-campus swimming pools, or the wading pool built outside the dorm house, or a slide leading straight to the bathrooms tub but warn Red that she might bump into a bathing Ernie and Rubber Duckie!
I'd like to add my vote to keep this thread fright here where it is and know where to find it quite quickly due to all the posts placed in it.

Well, I guess Mokey and me missed out on the breakfast scene. Well, if there are any new roomies/boarders, I'd be glad to take them on a tour of the dorm house. But in the mean time, Mokey's gone over to play some checkers with Kim and Red while I tend to the rest of my computer correspondence. Kyle, can't go with you, already promised Mokey and the fellow roomies down in Kim's room that I'd join them for some games tonight. Remember, I'm blind, but we could use my parking permit whenever we go out on errands or trips like the such. Ah, now I feel much better. Well, Mokey and I just finished watchin all of our programs and here are this week's updates for anybody who's interested.

Team BladeBreaker defeated Team Psychic and escaped from the island base.
Baby Bear got to go the Monster Sing-A-Long with Telly Monster after all.
Casey, a friend of Ash's caught herself an Eleckid and James ended up with two VictoryBells.
Not sure what happened with the dual stories presented on XMen Evolution.
And all the Battle City Duel Monsters Tournament finalists arrived at Kaiba Corp. Stadium and boarded Kaiba Craft-3 for the tournament's finals to begin.

After that, we took the dumbwaiter up to the common room on Floor 2 and had ourselves some pancakes for breakfast. Now it's off to the bathrooms for a shower and wash-up before heading out to the campus bakery. And there, we'll make some number cookies for the send-off party and a few extras for later.

Not sure what happened with the dual stories presented on XMen Evolution.

Red and I caught that episode. Apocolypse is up to something at a pyramid in Mexico and some of the Xmen are trying to figure out what, while Magneto is trying to take on Apocolypse one on one (not the brightest move the guy's made, in my opinion).

Back in the States, Nightcrawler rescues Stone-Mystique from the Brotherhood and tries to find some way to change her back. He even gets Wanda to set up a meeting with Agatha Harkness to see if she can do anything. It turns out Rogue, who doesn't want anything to do with Mystique stone or otherwise, is the only one who can help Mystique by absorbing enough of the stone mutation for Mystique's own shapeshifting powers to take over. Rogue's not very receptive of the idea. For those who missed the ep and don't want to be spoiled, I'll just say that the Xmen DEFINATELY don't have to worry about Mystique anymore.

Yeah, seeing Agatha Harkness was cool. This is only the second time she's been in Xmen Evo; the first time was in the 2nd season episode where the Scarlet Witch was introduced.

Well, if Mystique DOES come back, I doubt it will be right away. See, Rogue pushed her out of that gazebo and she fell over the cliff and...broke.

Red thinks that Kurt's going to try to glue her back together; I think Red's nuts.

Thanks for the help Kim. The cookies were finished earlier and they've cooled by now, and since I know you're in your room I can have a bat deliver the package personally to make sure that you do get it. Can't be too safe, not with Cookie Monster somewhere in the dorms. Is there a particular number/flavor you'd like or should I just send over a sampler? Since it's been raining for most of the afternoon, my bat can venture outside in the day fright now. Oh, and I think that Red might be on to something what with glueing the pieces of Mystique back together again. Though Mokey thinks that the shapeshifter was one of the classier characters, it's pretty much a token that she'll be back towards the end of the season or next. After all, Rogue's touch was the only thing needed for Mystique to return to normal right? Well, Rogue did touch her mom when the statue was pushed off the cliff and shattered, so maybe the shattering was just another one of Mystique's tricks.

Kurt gets all the pieces of Mystique in stone form, glues them back together again maybe except for the last piece, keeps the statue hidden in his room at the mansion, gets Rogue to touch the last piece and invest it with a faint life essence, then put it in place and hope that the life essence spreads to the rest of the statue bringing her back to life. Stranger things have happened and it wouldn't be out of this world for such a scenario.

As for the cookies, will do. Oh, this'll be so much fun! Yes Mokey, help me out by packaging the cookies for Kim and Red.

The list of what you get:

Turning to the right you are facing a long hall with four rooms on either side of you. From the closest one to the furthest one they are as follows.

Hi Scooter, my name's Eduardo, but you miht know me better by my screen name on Muppet Central's forums as "The Count". Just wanted to bring up a few things that you should take into consideration when drawing up a copy of the Muppet College dorm house. First off, I believe that Aaron (better known as Don'tLiveonMoon on these same forums) has selected Ernie from Sesame Street as his roommate. Erine is the screen name for Kyle who's got the three monsters also from Sesame Street. Secondly, I need to say that you have Kyle and the monsters in room #2 across from my own and Mokey's, and Kim and Red Fraggle in room #3 next to our own. The thing is that it should be Kim and Red Fraggle in room #2 across from that of the room shared by Mokey and myself, and Kyle and the three monsters next to them in room #4. Third, though I know it makes better parity sense to have rooms 7 through 13 in the lefthand corridor of Floor 1 of the dorms, it would make better numerical sense to have rooms 1 through 7 in the righthand corridor of Floor 1 and rooms 8 through 14 in the lefthand corridor of the same floor. Oh, and thanks for pointing out the bathroom on this same floor. Used to have to go to the one upstairs, but now we'll just use the one down here.
Hope this helps you when updating the plans of the dorm house.
Oh, and the name of the MC forum member who's bunking out with Big Bird is Crazy Ernie. At least, that's his screen name.

Hi. Thanks for letting me in on the problems. I will update my descriptions right away but the pictures might take a day. I did want to explain the method to some of my madness though. I drew most of this up according to some of your post which had lists and descriptions of who was with who and where. According to one and everywhere that I have looked Aaron (as in Aaron like rowlf) is rooming with the Newsman. Dontliveonthemoon (erin) is roomed with Ernie on floor two in room #29.

The reason why I have the Monsters and Ernie81,981 across from you and Mokey is because, in one of your rooming descirptions you had said, "f. Place Ernie81,981 and the monsters on floor one across from Mokey's and y room as long as they have an internal refridgerator in their room for Cookie's Midnightsnacks." So I figured you wanted them across from you. I know at one point you had said Kim and Red could be next to you but then because of the common room it wasn't possible. I did find a way to make it possible but I can change it so they are across from you and the monsters next to them if you like. Actually I will make that change for you. So that means room #2 is now empty.

Alright I know the numerical thing is a little odd but I did that for a reason too. At one point you had said that Rachael and Fozzie could have room #7. Someone had said that, that was the room on the other side of the common room. so if it is alright I would like to keep the numberr system the way it is. I can change it but then the whole schematic for the floor is people want certain rooms like #7 on the other side of the common room.

I knew the name was Crazy something but when I was away from my computer for the draft drawings of the dorm and couldn't remeber. I drew about six drafts before everyone fit where I thought it had been stated that they should be.

I also placed them on my own because no one had said anything about where those two were going I hope I made the correct decision.

You have been a really big help and I am going to go make some of those changes now. (why do I have a feeling I am gointo to be typing the floor descriptions a lot untill I get it correct LOL) Thanks once again.

Mokey gets through reading the note left by Scooter (MC member) as the new dorm layout planner. Well, there's a few things I need to write up for Scooter's benefit. Guess I'll just tape it to the front of his door and hope he'll see it in the morning when we can talk about it again.

OK, thought I'd hexplain myself a moment. In the initial layout planning for the dorms' Floor 1 this was what I thought.

You enter through the main doors and the lobby's behind a sliding glass door in front of you. No, sorry, no sliding glass doors. The lobby's just in front of you and the rows of dorm rooms are behind that. On Floor 2 to your left there's the room for Byron and Rowlf, then the common or living room with the dumbwaiter inside which takes up the space of two rooms, the room shared by Don'tLiveonMoon or Aaron and Ernie, the room shared by Daffyfan2003 or Kenny and Bert, and then the bathrooms. On your right there's the room shared by Fozzie Bear or Kevin and Floyd, the room shared by Anathema or Alex and Janice, and the room shared by HeraLirambar and Zoot. You then descend via a flight of stairs to Floor 2. You find a similar setup here as the one seen on Floor 2. In front to your left, there's the room shared by the Count (MC member) and Mokey Fraggle, the common room with the dumbwaiter inside which takes up the space of two rooms, the room shared by Squigiman and Gonzo the Great, and a vacant room which I offered up to Rachael and Fozzie Bear. On your right hand you find the room shared by Kyle and the three monsters, then the room shared by Kim and Red Fraggle, then the room shared by Dr. Bombay and Kermit the Frog in front of the room shared by Squigiman and Gonzo the Great, and then the room shared by you and Scooter (the Muppet). But I immediately realized the folly of such a layout when I remembered that I said that the room for Kim and Red Fraggle had to be in front of our own cause the living room made it impossible for their room to be next to the one shared by Mokey and myself. So I quickly re-posted a subsequent layout that had the rooms corrected much like you did in your new layout for Floor 1. Room #1: The Count and Mokey Fraggle, Room #2 (across from Room #1): Kim and Red Fraggle, Room #4: Kyle and the monsters. Now reading about your changes and understanding that your layout is far superior to my own, I rully like the work you've put into coming up with the blueprints for this truly vonderful Muppet College dorm house. Keep the plans just as the last posted version and things will be vonderful, unless we get some new boarders.

Kyle, FYI... There's no real distinction in the floors as to the one with a living room or lounge or common room, since there's one on both floors. However, Floor 2 is the main floor that you enter when you come in through the doors of the dorm house. Floor 1 is the basement level floor beneath the floor you enter when you pass through the dorm house's doors. If you like, I guess you could have your room moved upstairs to Floor 2 to be next to Aaron Likes Rowlf and the Newsman. Just placed your room downstairs in what would be Room #4 of Floor 1 cause you hadn't said anything until now about your preference as to where you'd like your room to be. That, and since you're bunking with three Sesame Street monsters, I thought it would be kind of neat to open up the door of the room that Mokey and I share and find something new to coutnt each day... three cute and furry blue monsters! But if you want your room moved, I suggest you leave a note to that effect taped to Scooter's door. (Just place a post here in this thread and preface it "Note for Scooter" in the subject heading.)

I'm very pleased that you like my design. I was nervous when I was putting it together that there would be some problem as to who would fit where.
I wanted to let everyone know that if they would like a room change because they wanted to be next to someone please just tell me. Please tell The Count(Mc) first since he is the one truly incharge of where everyone goes and I just draw it so as to put it into perspective.
I had said this in one of my earlier posts but I would like to repeat my self.
The floor plan I have is just that, a floor plan I would like to plan out plans for everyone's rooms and possibly get into a more detailed drawing of them and the rest of the dorm. (I am no artist so these would not be very grand but I would like to try.) In order to do that I would need everybody's input as to what they think the dorm should look like, the common room, bathroom, hall, lobby. and then their own dorm.
If you would like to describe one of these please either tell one of us(indicates the two Scooters) or just leave us a note on our door. I will try to get to them asap.

Well, thanks for that recognition Scooter though you're the guy putting it down in writing. The help should come from all of us. What room did you place Aaron Likes Rowlf and the Newsman on Floor 2? Cause Erine and the monsters would like to be moved upstairs to that room and leave Room #4 unoccupied once again. If this helps, I suggested that dumbwaiter instead of being inside the two connected rooms, should rather be placed inside the furnace in the back corner of both living rooms. If we're seeing the plan directly from in front... then the fireplace with the dumbwaiter hidden inside should be tucked in the back right corner next to the outside wall of Rooms #1 and #15 respectively. Also, that way you'd have the back left corner of the Floor 2 living room freed up to place Oscar the Grouch in his trash can. Hope this helps and hopefully we can make this thing come to life with vonderful descripts from all.

Ernie81,891 you have been moved upstairs to room #26 with your companions. This is next door to Aaron and Newsman. When you go through the doors from the lobby into the hall you will want to turn left and you will be the second door on your left (the same side as the lobby) on floor two. You are also across from CrazyErnie's and BigBird's room.

Also on floor two.
You walk into the common room and on right in the back corner there is a fireplace which houses the dumbwaiter. On your left in the corner a trach can with Oscar in it resides. There are various furniture pieces strewn about the room waiting to be placed in some order.

Downstairs on Floor one the room next to Kim and Red is now empty.

Well, since I read these posts rather than see them on the computer screen, it would be better for me personally if you stuck with Scooter (MC) and Scooter. But then again, it's your decision. Oh, and your work on this is fantastic so far! Gotta get the movers and interior decorators in here to help out with the common rooms' furniture.

Just thought of something. The door to the Floor 2 bathrooms and the door to room where Crazy Ernie and Big Bird are residing in would have to be at least 8 feet and maybe 2 inches big so that Big B can pass through. Likewise, the hallways on Floor 2, the Floor 2 common room and Crazy Ernie and Big Bird's room would have to be at least that tall as well. My thoughts are that the front doors to the dorm house, the door to the Floor 2 bathrooms, and the door to their own room could be 8 feet and maybe 2 or 3 inches tall, whereas the hallways in Floor 2 the Floor 2 bathrooms, the common room on Floor 2, the room inhabited by Crazy Ernie and Big Bird themselves and maybe the ceiling for all of Floor 2 could be 10 feet tall. After all, multiple storied buildings often use that measurement for each of their multiple stories.

Scooter(mc) and Scooter it is. I asked because I wanted to know what was easier for everyone. I can keep track easily since I am the one writing it.

I actually had planned to have the ceiling level and door level larger for floor two. (I guess I forgot to mention that when I was drawing up the plans Big Bird and CrazyErnie didn't have an assigned room yet so I put them on the second floor so they wouldn't have to worry about stairs and what not.) Thank you for thinking of that though and figuering out teh dimensions.

I have not figured out what furniture would be in the common rooms. The private rooms are up to everyone else on a personal level. I figured though, (after visiting many different dorms in the past year) that there would probably be a small fridge, microwave, Television, a sofa, a table and a few chairs. But I haven't had a chance to figure out all of the dimensions quite yet and I am working on a layout sketch for floor two's common room right now.

Good lad! Soon as those plans are finished be sure to post them here and we'll review them. Though I think the common room should have the larger fridge owing to a previous post of mine suggesting a mini fridge in the room occupied by Erine and the Monsters, though that's rully up to them if they want to have that fridge in their room still.

Question: Will there be individual towel racks inside the bathrooms on both floors? Or would we have to store them in our own private rooms?
Still thinking about the inner decor of our room, but so far I got the door identification nailed in the coffin! Picture a regular red-brown mahogany door of regular height. And on the door's face, imagine that you have it divided into three horizontal rectangular strips. On the border between the first and second strips or just above that, you see a gray ovaled storm cloud either painted or sculpted in high relief bearing a solid black number 1 also in high relief. The door has its brass knob on the left when standing fright in front of it, and its hinges on the right so that when it opens up to the outside it won't bump into the open area of the Floor 1 common room. Unless you get any objections from other boarders, this could serve as the standard for all the individual rooms' doors. Just make sure that the right corridor rooms and left corridor rooms' doors open up in corresponding fashion so as not to bump into the common room's area. And they could all have little gray ovaled storm clouds and their numbers in black, both sculpted in high relief.

Myself and Scooter have completed the plans for the common room on floor two. we have also arranged all of the furniture for everyone. Please keep in mind that we havenot nailed anything down yet so it can all move still. Also, we need some one to paint the walls. Here goes.

As you walk into the common room you are faced with many objects. The floor is hard wood. Diagonaly to your left there is a large tye-dyed circle table with eight maple wood stools around it. Along the left side of the wall (from the closet to you to the farthest) there is a multicolor refridgerator. Then a dark brown, wooden table with a purple microwave ontop of it. Dark brown cupboards with a sink above that. More cupboards. and Oscar's trashcan all the way in the back left corner.
Behind the table and directly in front of you there is a mahgony colored pleather couch which seats four. A three seater couch with similar color is diagonly to it's left. Infront of the four seater on the floor is a rug. The rug is actually a twister game with all of it's multicolored spots. On the back wall there is a large screen television, DVD and VCR player,as well as a playstaion. To the right of the couch a swivel chair sits and next to that (the swivel is closer to the wall whereas this chair is closer to the couch) is Big Bird's large chair. On the wall, in the back right corner is a fireplace/dumbwaiter. The rest of the wall is as follows (from furthest to closest.) A gumball machine and in the front right corner, a black bookcase filled the brim with books. On a diagonal with you a chess/checker table resides with two chairs. It is between yourself and the gumball machine. To your right, infront of the bookcase is a large, puffy reclining reading chair.

I think that is everything for now. I am working on the bathrooms and on the downstairs common room right now. Scooter is helping by designing our room. Count(mc) I will hopefully also draw your door out soon.
This room and the updated hall will hopefully be posted on my webpage tonight. I hope that is to everybody's liking. If there is something you would like just let one of us know.

Okay, with the help of Scooter, while I was waiting for my webpage to load. (actually I'm still waiting) I sketched out the first floor common room. I do not have one done on my computer yet but I will hopefully have it uploaded sometime tomorrow. So here goes:

Infront of the four seater on the floor is a rug. The rug is actually a hopscotch game. On the back wall there is a large screen television, DVD and VCR player,as well as a N64. To the right of the couch a swivel chair sits and next to that (the swivel is closer to the wall whereas this chair is closer to the couch) is a large green bean bag chair. On the wall, in the back right corner is a fireplace/dumbwaiter. The rest of the wall is as follows (from furthest to closest.) A light brown desk with a dell computer ontop with a folding chair infront of it and in the front right corner, a red bookcase filled to the brim with books. On a diagonal with you is a chinese checkers table with two chairs. It is between yourself and the computer. To your right, infront of the bookcase is a large, puffy reclining reading chair.

Very similar to floor two's. There are a few modifications however. we hope everyone enjoys these rooms. We tried to place something in there which we though everyone would enjoy. As always if you would like something specific please leave a note posted to Scooter's and my door. Or tell one of us (indicates Scooter(mc) and Scooter). Now back to that webpage.

Do you plan to have all of the dorm house's floors as wooden floors, tiled floors, or carpeted floors? Just wanted to know cause I thought that the common rooms would benefit much better from having a nice sprawling carpet over their floors. Also, let me know when you've decided on the towel rack issue, whether we have a place in the bathrooms for each of our individual towels or if we have to stash them ineach of our rooms. Still thinking of how our room would look like, but there's a few things that are starting to come together in my mind's eye.

I hadn't thought tremendously about the floors. I did put small carpets infront of each sitting area. I guess I am so used to the floors at my actual house I just assumed hard wood would be fine. I can change that is you would like. My actual room at home has carpet and it isn't hard to change a description. I have just begun on the b-room floor plans. The one for our floor looks like there will be a large closet which we can store all of our stuff in. Each shower will also have a hook for hanging towels in it. Thank you for all of your input, it's been very very helpful.

Well, I hope that Scooter (MC) finds this reply. No, it's not that terribly important to change the common areas floors (the hallways and living rooms) from hard wooden surfaces to carpeted floors. Just thought that maybe the living rooms should have an expansive carpet to make them more inviting to all the people who come inside the dorm house even just visiting. But the hard wooden floors or tiled floors would make more sense in terms of that they'd be easier to clean up and make sure that they were cleaned up with vacuum cleaner and mop.

As for the bathrooms, I think that there should be rods rather than hooks for the towels. That way you can have the towel all stretched out along the rod and ensure that they dry better and throughout.

I never had thought about a laundry room (oops) However I got someone one to turn the downstairs storage room into a laundry room. It isn't anything special at the moment but atleast there are machines there. Sorry I forgot. As far as doors go if it is allright with you I was going to allow everyone what they wanted their door to look like. Mine and Scooter's is Dark brown witha yellow clipboard on it, depicting the number 10 in bold black.

To everyone-
There is now carpeting in both common rooms. The upstairs one is white with yellow duckies on it and the downstairs one if a light blue with chickens on it. Shelves have also been added above the TV systems so as to house our multimedia muppet collection. I hope everyone enjoys them. Also, the webpage is down for some unknown reason, so I will not be able to post drawings for a little but I am still drawing them. I think that is everything for now.

Scooter and myself have completed the sketches of our room, our door, Ernie81,981 and the monsters room and door. As well as the two bathrooms (although we haven't figured out a colo scheme for them yet,so it will be posted later.) The laundry room is in the works right now. (and theone and a half hour long bus trip should give me plenty of time today)

You walk up to a purple door with a chocolate chip cookie sculpted to the front. The chips form the number 26. Turning the handle you open the door (opens out and towards your left) you enter the room. The soft carpet under your feet is speckled with red and blue poka dots. Imediately to your left is a multicolor microwave on a wooden table and next to that there is a deep blue fridge. Continuing along the wall, there is a twin bed layed horizontaly across the room. The bedspread is blue. In the back left corner a bunk bed resides. Both spreads are blue, similar to the first one. Directly in front of you, on the far wall (past the foot of the one bed) is a wooden desk and chair, painted purple. On the desk resides a phone. Imediatly to your right there is a large, wooden closet for all the monsters and Ernie81,981 to share. Along the right hand wall sits a plushy red recliner and next to that is a large soft, blue couch which sits three. In the back right corner is a large bed with blue covers with cookie print. This is specially made to fit CookieMonster. The room is lit by overhead floresent lights. You turn off the lights and leave the room.

Hi. I hope we got everything you wanted in your room and described it correctly. If not please just tell us and we will fix it. In the bag attached to this note are some glow in the dark stick-on moons and stars for your room. Enjoy

After descending the stairs, which have been painted a multitude of colors. You turn right and come up to a maple colored door with a yellow clipboard on it at eye level. The clipboard has pushpins around it for notes and reads the number ten in the center in big black letters.
You turn the brass handle and open the door. (opens out towards the stair way, so to your left) You now enter the room. The soft carpet is a deep forest green in color and covers the entire room except imediatly towards your left. In that no carpeted area there is a hard wood floor. On the wall immediatly to your left is a phone. Next to that in the front corner, stretching along the left wall is a dark colored wooden desk. With a shelf above it and a chair infront of it. Sitting on the desk there is a black laptop computer and a number of sketches and drawings and on the shelf there is a number of binders, books and computer games. With a tiny gap in between there is another desk next to the first. It is similar in design and contents except there is a green laptop on and teh desk is lighter in color. Immediatly next to the second desk there is a small Television. A yellow bean bag chair resides next to the television. In the back left hand corner sits a twin size bed with a light green spread and a blue and green quilt. A lamp affixed to the wall also lights that area. To the right of teh bed on the back wall sits a bookcase over flowing with books.In front of you (even withe the bean bag) is a table, triangular in size with two stools around it. They have not been painted yet and are just light wood. Immediatly to your right is a standing lamp which hovers over a bed against the right wall. This bed spread is yellow and has a green comforter on it. Infront of the foot of the bed along the right wall is a green inflatable chair. Continuing along the wall there is a bookcase also over flowing with books. A yellow dresser is next inline followed by a walk-in closet which turns the corner. On the other side of the closet on the back wall is a green dresser. Leave the room and close the door behind you.

Oh, and Scooter should be commended for coming up with the depiction of the room number on the door to the room occupied by Kyle and the monsters. Ah, Scooter (MC) that is. This made me laugh cause it reminded me of an old Chips Ahoy! commercial back in the day when my sight was better. The commercial bragged about how each Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip cookie had exactly 24 chips in it, and then the chips moved to form a 24 on the cookie.
Well, gotta go, working on something to post on Scooter's door.

OK, Scooter (MC), here's a proposal for a newer and more compact floor layout for the dorm house. This is only a suggestion, and only that, so you can either accept it or reject it but at least hear me out.

Floor Layout.
We have a total of 15 rooms on Floor 2 of the dorm house and 14 rooms on Floor 1, with three additional rooms on both floors to bring the total up to 32 rooms with 29 of them numbered as rooms ready to be occupied by boarders. You currently have the rooms on both floors arranged in two distinct corridors on either side of the common room, with eight rooms to each corridor set up as two rows of four. On Floor 2's righthand corridor we have Rooms 15, 17, 19 and 21 on our left; and Rooms 16, 18, 20 and 22 on our right. And then on Floor 2's lefthand corridor we have Rooms 23, 25, 27 and 29 on our right; and Rooms 24, 26, 28 and the Bathrooms on our left. Then on Floor 1's righthand corridor we have Rooms 1, 3, 5 and the Laundry on our left; and Rooms 2, 4, 6 and 8 on our right. And finally, on Floor 1's lefthand corridor we have Rooms 7, 9, 11 and 13 on our right; and Rooms 10, 12, 14 and the Bathrooms on our left.

Logic Games Placement.
OK, here's what we said in terms of the placement for the following four rooms located on Floor 1.
wockawocka (Rachael) and Fozzie Bear will be placed in Room #7 and that room must be next to the room occupied by Squigiman and Gonzo the Great.
The room occupied by Squigiman and Gonzo the Great will be located across from the room occupied by Dr. Bombay and Kermit The Frog.
The room occupied by Scooter (MC) and Scooter will be located next to the room occupied by Dr. Bombay and Kermit The Frog.
But we never said as to whether the rooms shared by Scooter (MC) and Scooter and the one shared by Squigiman and Gonzo the Great had to be to the left or to the right of the rooms they're located next to.

What Does This Mean?
Well, let's put it all together and see if it makes sense. On Floor 1 we have a total of 14 rooms to be occupied by boarders, a Laundry Room, and the Floor 1 Bathrooms. So the vacant rooms will be numbered from 1 to 14, in an order placing the odds on one side and the evens on the other, all in two rows of four in two corridors each. On Floor 1's righthand corridor we have Room #1 occupied by The Count (MC) and Mokey Fraggle, Room #3 as unoccupied, Room #5 occupied by Squigiman and Gonzo the Great, and Room #7 occupied by wockawocka (Rachael) and Fozzie Bear on our left. And in that same corridor, we have Room #2 occupied by SkeeterMuppet (Kim) and Red Fraggle, Room #4 occupied by Scooter (MC) and Scooter, Room #6 occupied by Dr. Bombay and Kermit The Frog, and the Laundry on our right. And lastly, the lefthand corridor on Floor 1 has Rooms 8, 10, 12 and 14 on our right; and Rooms 9, 11, 13 and the Bathrooms on our left.

This now presents all the rooms on Floor 1 in a much nicer and neater numerical consequence with all the occupants placed where they should be. However, I must reitterate that this is only a suggestion as to a possible redrawing and relocation of the rooms on Floor 1 and their respective occupants. If you think that the previous arrangement of rooms and occupants was preferable, then that's perfectly OK and no changes need to be made. I only hope that this suggestion helps you in some small form and that you have a good day.

No, I instead chose or rather was somewhat pushed to go and study law after finishing my English Literature major and that's the field in which I got my BA. That's the reason why I posted the little section above with the Logic Games, cause that's the one thing that you've rully got to know when taking the exam to enter law school.

Well, if it helps, I included a Fraggle hole cavern entrance in the back left corner of our room marked by an archway of brown-black stones. I included that one for two reasons: my roommate could have a way to get to both Fraggle Rock and use it a s a tunnel system underneath the Muppet College campus reaching her classes on time, and hopefully as some sort of inspiration to you as well. Of course, you don't have to include it in your room if you don't want to, just thought I'd help in some small way.

BTW: Sent you a follow-up E-mail through the forum mailer with a few more items for Room #1 including an air freshener, the room's main light source and the light switch for said light source. Also, if you could, please go back and find a post of mine from post 200 onwards titled "Note for Scooter Room Layout" or something like that. Would appreciate your thoughts on the suggestions I made in that post/note left for you.

Anybody still here? Well, sorry I'm late but I went downtown to get some dinner for everybody with the help of my bats running as relay pick-up waiters. OK, here's the run down.

Got some octopus tentacle salad for myself and egg rolls for Mokey.
Bird's Nest Soup with mashed potatoes and potstickers for Crazy Ernie and Big Bird.
Pastrami sandwiches for Kyle and the monsters, Herry's a bologna with lettuce and veggies, Grover's a Ham and Canadian Bacon sandwich with mayo and mustard, and Cookie's got a triple decker with all the trimmings.
A pint of pickle vanilla ice cream we'll just tuck away in the Floor 2 common room's fridge if a certain grouch wants it later or not, I don't care.
Pepperoni Pizza and grape sodas for Bert and Ernie, though I hope they share it more equittably now after the last time.
And some garlic shrimp rice and pepper steak for Kim and Red.
Well, since noone's here fright now, I'll just put everything away in the fridges and go back to my room to sleep before tomorrow's Saturday morning marathon.

Oh, and I almost forgot! Here's a big ol' hamburger sack for the Muppets and their roomies down in Floor 1. Yeah, we got cheeseburgers for Squigiman and Gonzo, veggie laiden burgers for Rachael and Fozzie Bear, a couple of burgers with fries for Dr. Bombay and Kermit, and a super deluxe double-patty burger for both Scooters with an Apple Pie just for thanks. Well, I hope our room will be finished soon and you'll be able to see it. Have a great weekend!

Yeah, I guess I'd call it brown. When I was little it was so blond it was practically white, but it gradually darkened over the years.

It's fright here on Floor 2, and next to Kevin and Floyd Pepper too. Ah, here we are. *Takes Anathema and Janice past the lobby's doors and past the corridor door into the righthand wing until we reach the room. Ah yes, Room #18. Glad to have you guys back. The room might seem a little empty since you left though. That's cause we had Scooter (MC) and Scooter move into the dorm house while you were gone. And we've been coming up with our own rooms' designs and posting notes on their door so that they can know how our rooms have been set up. Once you've decided what you want to have in your room and hwere the items will be placed and the coloring of the walls and floors and carpets and what room marker you want for your room door, please post a note here for Scooter (MC) to find and we'll hopefully have a drawing up for you soon. Rather, they'll have a drawing of what your room looks like up soon. Man, it's great to have you guys back. I'll send you a bat with a package of number cookies this evening as a welcome back present. Do you have a particular preference as to the flavor and number, or would you like the sampler pack?

1 The name of the forum member you're attempting to contact, I believe, is not named Mokey & Janice's Man. The correct name for the intended forum member is Janice & Mokey's Man.
2 If you're going to ask for a pic of Janice from this forum member, be sure to correct the Muppet roomies for each user.
a. Janice is the correct Muppet roommate of Anathema (Alex).
b. Rowlf The Dog is the correct Muppet roommate of Janice & Mokey's Man (Byron).
c. Mokey Fraggle is the correct Muppet roommate of The Count (MC), yours truly.

And this batch's for Anathema and Janice as a welcome back present as they recently returned from an exhausting trip.
