To wwfpooh and Jill Monster: Sorry there was noone in the garden when you got there. Robin and Mokey and I were out there singing until midnight, to help the little guy earn his campfire singing merit badge. And I'm sorry that when you and some others got to the garden we had already finished and left, but we'll try to include you next time.

1 Batty Bat is the Count von Count's pet bat; the name of my pet bat, the one I keep with me here at the dorms, is Bella.
2 Don't have a clip of the sketch you're looking for.

To Robin: Congratulations on earning your campfire singing merit badge. The badge is a lovely one, with a blazing campfire on the front emblem image surrounded by floating musical notes. Will hand over the badge tomorrow since it seems that you're already asleep.

Sorry I haven't replied to any messages lately. Been working on Muppet Listings V10, and they'll be posted later tonight.
Will probably get a quick shower and then join everyone in the Floor 2 Common Room.
You know, you guys should rully get acquainted with the dormhouse's geographics to cut down on the confusion on the posts. There's a bathroom at the end of every floor, the last door down on your left in the East Wings. Just face the common room and turn to your left, and keep walking until you reach the end of the hall. The bathrooms will be on your left, and there are three such areas in this house so far, enough for all.
Also, you guys should know what floor you room's on before coming down to converse with others. Kind of confusing to have wwfpooh and Jill Monster walk down the hall and find us in our room, when they're up on the third floor. Not that such an encounter can't happen if wwfpooh and Jill Monster are already on the first floor, but it helps know where you're coming from.

*Shouts over to GonzoGirl: Hey GG! The special's gonna start in an hour! Better come back inside and freshen up before we meet in the Floor 2 Common Room.

What made a bit upset is that if we got such great classic segments, why couldn't we have gotten the classic version of "C is For Cookie"? That operratic version is one of the versions I dislike, and it would've been better to see the original. Heck, I've got it on Learning Your Letters, I could go and get it.

Great job in the special, Grover, Herry, and Cookie! I loved you guys in it! Herry, that was a great job in the monster parade! Keep up the good work! And Grover, I really liked the beginning with you delivering a package to Oscar - that was genious! Also, that was a brilliant performance Cookie Monster - your disguise was quite clever! I did not really care for the format of the show - too much Elmo, too oriented for young children, not enough classic footage for the fans - but the performances by the classic characters and the calender through Sesame Street history were great!

It was a lot of fun watching it with all of you! Well, I am off to bed! Goodnight! :sleep:

I won my Ebay auction! 2 very cool German books for me! I've been wanting these for quite a while! I got Grimm's Fairy Tales for $2 and one by Theodor Sturm for $5.50! That was a teeny bit more than I wanted to pay but books in German are expeeeeensive! Now I just have to hope shipping isn't too much! Off to bed for me, I have a Spanish quiz first thing tomorrow!

3 The operatic version of the song "C is for Cookie" which I dislike.

After the special/episode:
4 Put Down the Duckie.
5 The African Alphabet Song.
6 The Coconut Counting Man, which makes my heart melt.
7 Furry Happy Monsters.
8 When Susan tells Big Bird that Mr. Hooper isn't coming back.
9 What I believe to be a snipet of Big Bird's nest destroyed by the hurricane at the end of Season 32.
10 Another Season, Another Reason for Eating Cookie.
11 A brief snipet with Savian singing about a rhyming game while he was tapdancing.
12 When everyone saw that Snuffy was real.
And if you stuck around till the very end of the episode, you also got to saw the performance of Mahna Mahna on Sesame Street.

You go up the stairs to the third floor, one full story above us fright now. Once you get there and pass the doors to the hallway, you'll be facing the floor's common room. Just turn halfways to your right, and it'll be the second door on your left. Would take you there myself, but I'm late for a very important date of a game of croquet out on the playing field.

Oh, and JaniceFerSure, sent you the list of who's been taken also. Just add BethC's post above to that list.

Well no Mr. Armadillo, I haven't seen you and I don't think I ever will. Just going off on a bit of philosophical humor, since I've got blind batty eyes. Still have some vision left, but not good enough to watch or distinguish anything on a TV or computer screen. Only saw the Kermit's Swamp Years shown on Stars, not the whole DVD release nor any of the extras.
All the rooms here have electricity, and there's no fear of getting run over by a car since all the rooms are indoors. There might be some trouble in getting to the campus, but you could always get there via underground Fraggle tunnels that run from the dormhouse to the campus and all sorts of other places.

Just pick a room, either 12 or from 34-44, and we'll show you to your room.

Sorry Joe, but there are no penthouse suites in this dormhouse. The only thing that comes even close is Room #8 down in the basement floor, but that's cause it's been turned into a mock-penthouse by the duo who's boarding there: PePe's Lost Luv and Miss Piggy.
However, if you want to be in the room next to JaniceFerSure and Digit, and Clifford, that can be arranged. But I think the room you want is #35. Reason I say that is cause Room #34's next to #32 where BethC and the Swedish Chef are currently occupying, and you certainly don't want to be turned into an armadillo pancake by the Chef do you?
Well, LMK and I'll get you the proper keys and show you to your room.

Oh and I guess the croquet game's going along well with all the others there. Would like to join them, but I gotta tend to all the new arrivals as the deskclerk here at the dorm. Maybe I'll go there and play some later.

Greetings, for everyone's benefit, here's an internal map of the dormhouse so you can find your rooms. Oh, and this descript will be done with everything facing forward in front of you.

You walk up the external set of stairs or move up the rampway to the sides of the stairs, reaching the main doors of the dormhouse. These big green doors, in reminiscence of those from Sesame Street, open up to the internal lobby. There's a few chairs on both halves of a carpeted floor, a wooden paneled desk, a wall with high-relief numbers for each room and a key hanging from the peg below, and a series of doors. The door to the left behind the desk is a side-door that allows Aaron, our resident bellboy, to come in and make sure everyone's signed the register. An auditive copy of the register is also available, though I don't need it cause I remember everyone who's here and where they're staying. Apparently, I now have the duties of deskclerk, making sure that everyone has a roommate and gets the key to their rooms.
As we move inwards past the lobby's desk, we find two doors. The one to our right is the stairwell's door, marked by a sign that says "Stairs". There's enough stairs to climb or descend between all three floors inside this dormhouse. To go in numeric order, let's descend to the first floor or "Basement Floor" as it's also called.
OK, now that we're here, let's turn to our right and face the door that leads to the hallway with all the rooms. We have the Common Room in front of us, with all the ammenities already thought of and installed here and in the other common rooms as well. If we turn to our right, we have the West Wing; and the East Wing's to our left. Each wing has eight rooms within its space, with four to each side. Walking through the Floor 1 West Wing, the odd-numbered rooms from 1 through 7 are on our left; and the even-numbered rooms from 2 to 6 are on our right. The last room on our right is the dorm's laundry room. And the same trip reverses itself in the East Wing, with Rooms 8 to 14 on our right; and Rooms 9 to 13 on our left. Remember that you have to turn to your left when facing the common room to find these rooms. At the end of the hall, the last room on your left are the Floor 1 Bathrooms.
OK, now let's go upstairs and examine the other two floors quickly now that you have the basic concept of the dormhouse. All common rooms have a trashcan in the back lefthand corner and a fireplace in the back righthand corner. These fireplaces are inactive, cause they house a dumbwaiter elevator that takes us from floor to floor. Just press the button and the screen and doors open admitting us entrance, before whisking us up to Floor 2. Here, the West Wing's left side has Rooms 15 to 21 and Rooms 16 to 22 on its right; whereas the East Wing has Rooms 23 to 29 on its right and Rooms 24 to 28 on its left, and the Bathrooms for this floor in the last room on your left. The same happens up on Floor 3; where the West Wing has rooms 30 to 36 on its left and rooms 31 to 37 on its right; and the East Wing has rooms 38 to 44 on its right and rooms 39 to 43 on its left, with the Bathrooms for that floor in the last room on your left.

Well, let's move to the West Wing's right side and leave our new boarders in their rooms. Second door on our right is #33 for JaniceFerSure and Clifford and Digit, and third door down is #35 for Klonoa and Joe the Armadillo.
The dormhouse's provided for with electricity and running water, a swimming pool out behind the house itself, a garden with growing flowers and patio furniture to the left of the house, and a fieldlike clearing to the left of that.
If you need any more help, don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer. Now where's Aaron with your luggage?

Uh, sorry, wwfpooh... but you're only half-right.
Aaron and Statler and Waldorf are in Room #24, which is the first room on the lefthand side of Floor 2's East Wing. And I misspoke, the one in charge of the register seems to be cause I'm the one everyone always contact when trying to join the dorms. However, Aaron does have a side door that allows him to access the lobby's desk instantly. I, on the other hand, go in through a swinging door connected to the lobby's desk's other side.
You wwfpooh and Jill Monster are in Room #31, which is located up on the West Wing of Floor 3. That is the first righthand door on Floor 3's West Wing. Your room is next to Room #33 shared by JaniceFerSure and Clifford and Digit; which is next to Room #35, the one still awaiting to be taken by Klonoa and Joe the Armadillo. Haven't gotten an answer from them.
The room that you, wwfpooh, and Jill Monster share is across the hall from Room #30 taken by Zack the Dog and Pepe the King Prawn. That's the first door on Floor 3's West Wing's lefthand side; and is next to Room #32 where BethC and the Swedish Chef are staying.

Ah, but that's the beauty of these dorms. You see, there's not a kitchen area per say... But all the stuff for one to prepare food has been installed in the common rooms. There's a fridge and freezer combo unit, a microwave, a sink for washing dishes and glasses, and cabinets for storing those dishes and glasses and groceries that don't fit in the fridges.

Then again, you can design the interior of your room to contain all you and your roommate(s) need for a blissful co-habitation. For example, the room I share with Mokey has a Fraggle-hole for her to exit the dorms, a desk under a window for Lanford to get plenty of sun, open window for my pet bat's escapes, TV mega unit, and walk-in closet for my figure collection, among other things.
You can design your room to have a couple of beds (one for both of you), furniture for your own self, and a sort of kitchen counter for the Chef to make all his interesting dishes fully stocked with everything he needs for those dishes.

Oh you know BethC, the American Muppet Pack-In Contest being held at Palisades Toys. It's too late to enter now, but I'll tell you about it anyway.
You know the awesome Muppet figures made by Palisades Toys? Well then, you know that some of them come with additional little figures called pack-ins, like Camilla the Chicken included with the figure of Gonzo the Great in S5.
What happened was that ResidentLilly asked for us to pick some character to champion and submit an initial image of the character back in January of this year. Then he eliminated about half the field leaving 32 contenders at the end of Stage 2. Then a while back, he announced that Stage 3 would start a preliminary process where the 32 contenders were to say if they'd continue or dropout. Why is that? Cause to continue on from Stage 3 to Stage 4, each contender must submit a CD with a ton of photos of their champion from almost every angle possible for Palisades to potentially make a figure of that champion character. Right now we're in the second phase of Stage 3, where four people have dropped out again and only 28 remain. These people must send their CD's to Ken postmarked no later than midnight this Friday to then be considered for Stage 4.
Resident Lilly will then start Stage 4 by reducing the field to 16 submissions taken straight to JHC. If any one of those is rejected by JHC, then Ken will go back to the other CD's and choose another for submission/approval. Once he's got all 16 nominees approved, he'll submit them to forum member voting to see who wins.

The winner gets their champion made into a figure, their name on the back portion of the packaging insert for that figure, and different samples of their figure as it's being made.

If we had left them on the doorsteps Cookie Monster would've gotten to each and every package like a tornado sweeping across the plain. Guess this is one that they forgot about.

They left a lot of stuff out, like they described his high school career, but didn't mentiom his college career. They described him as the father of educational TV programs, which is silly. He didn't found Sesame Street, Joan Ganz Cooney did. I was kinda disgusted by it, but I guess it was nice that they appreciate his contribution.

Let's go, just follow me into the common room here on Floor 2.
*Exits lobby's desk, opens up door to the stairwell and door that leads to the hallway, and ushers McFraggle and Telly Monster into the common room.
You see, each common room has an old world fireplace here in the back righthand corner. But in reality, all you have to do is press the button and the screen opens up along with a pair of doors, admitting you into a dumbwaiter elevator. We'll take this ride upstairs to the third floor.
*Exits the dumbwaiter elevator after reaching the third floor. OK, now we'll just leave the third floor's common room, and turn halfways to our left and head into Floor 3's West Wing. Your room will be the fourth or last door down on our left. Ah, here we are. OK, here's your room key and I trust Aaron will be by shortly with your bags.
