Hi
For those of you looking for patterns to make ball shapes for heads or bodies here's a tip - do a search for instructions on making juggling balls. Many sites contain patterns for making four panel juggling balls which make good spherical shapes. Try this one:

looks good, thanks for the find!!
I think Buck Beaver also has some spherical patterns for foam on his site.

Translation (because people like me who play with rubber chickens understand what the odd posts say):
"Do you have any links to other puppet making sites, be they your own or someone else's?"

The best place to look for links is The Puppetry Homepage (http://www.puppetry.info). A couple of years ago my web site used to have a section called "The Puppet Bin" where the construction process for different types of puppets was discussed step-by-step. I'll take a look through my archieve and see if I still have the HTML files.

So far I've found one of the tutorials I mentioned in my previous post. It's more of an overview though. It's for constructing 14'0 giant puppets, which are actually really cool.
It's now posted here (http://www.geocities.com/angrypuppets/puppetshop/giant_puppets/).
