Now, I know we all know better because we were all at MuppetFest hanging out with Dave Gumpel and John Kennedy and everything, but IMDb has Kermit's Swamp Years slated for a June 2002 release.

Is it possible that this direct-to-video release has been pushed up from its' original August slate?

Pushed up?!

Really? Things can be pushed up? Wow-- amazing new concept.

Seriously, I doubt it. I expect IMDB has out-dated information (wouldn't be the first time).

And Scott-- you're being awfully prolific here in our new home-- don't think I've come across a thread today that you haven't posted to.

Hey guess what, someone came up to me in school a few days ago and said they saw an AD for the movie Kermit's swamp years /DVD on TV!!

She said she wasn't sure what it said date wise but it was advertising the Movie for sale soon, so maybe! i asked what channle and a bunch of other questions but she really could not answer, all she said was what she was thinking at the time
"I bet Zack is going to buy that!"

another person said they saw a Time Life tv ad for the DVD's and not just the video's, i haven't seen the DVD one.

Zack)Rowlf the, you bet your bottom i'm going to buy it!Dog.

My best guess would be a kid's meal toy promotion at Sbarros.

Hey,
Yeah but in the UK we only have Burger King, Pizza Hut, Mcdonalds and KFC as main stream restaurant places.
So maybe our's will hold it there.

And in the UK they always do video release promo's.

Ok, so I guess the real question about KSY is: Will it come out before or after Muppet Pinball Mayhem (or maybe the real question is if this game will ever come out)?

Well, it won't be Long John Silver's, you can bet your bottom dollar on that (and that it'll be sunny Tomorrow, too!)

What is Sbarros? I'm in California and we don't have those. Not in Houston either (where I'm from). So I hope such tie-ins don't go to such a limited market.

I just checked Sbarro's site (http://www.sbarro.com/) and they have six of em listen in Houston, TX. Are you sure you've never heard of em before? LOL!

Hey! Oh, the reason I brought up Sbarros is because they are JHC's #1 premium/happy meal kids meal supplier for some reason. No matter what it has been JHC since the late 90's, Sbarros has had a kid's meal for it. This would include several MFS, EIGrouchland, Sesame Peter Wolf, and now BEAR.
Sbarro is kind of this 'howtheheckaretheystillinbusiness' little hole in the wall eateries in nearly every mall(though they serve a really great zitti) Whenever there is a JHC film or direct to video movie/special they seem to have a promotion for it.

Hey,
Well we are lucky in the UK, the only places that get the licence to do Promo's are the "real" places like McDonalds, burger Kinf, KFC and Pizza Hut and that is about it.

We dont have hardly anymore big chain Restaurants here.

What was the Elmo In Grouchland Promos ?
In the Uk, KFC done small plushes of Bug, Elmo, Zoe and Oscar.

My neice is always telling me they should make "Huchley" !

They had Grouchland plushes? cool. Im still so wanting that Sam Eagle soccer plush you showed on the old mc. heh
I noticed you guys(and australia) got wayyyy cooler MFS restaurant premiums then here(like the pvcs and stuff)
Though we did get the mayhem bus.
You lucky UK people! we just get JHC promotions at impossible to find obscure restaurants:)

Think about it , We are not that lucky.

Muppet Treasure Island Burger King Promo's, Muppets From Space Burger King Promo's, Muppets On Wheels Little Chef Promo's and Elmo in Grouchland Promo's in KFC.

Now remember, That is ALL we have got from our Restaurants.

You have got Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies , Muppet Workshop, Muppet Christmas Carol ,Muppet Treasure Island , Muppets From Space , Bear In The Big Blue House , Scary Scary Monsters Do i have to carry on listing them ?

And you that we are lucky, Phueey !

Suncoast Motion Picture Company at a local mall here in town and they don't have a date yet. They usually are good at least 4 or 5 months in advance of a release date.

Just thought you'd all like to know what the FOZ found out!

When I worked at Suncoast, I got to make an endcap of Sesame Street videos and there was a sign advertising some kind of Sesame Peter and the Wolf/ Sbarro deal, I think there might have been coupons for Sbarro in the video maybe? or coupons at Sbarro for the video?

Thanks alot!

It's about Kermit's Pre-Teen years with 2 of his buds; supposedly there is supposed to be a series about this coming out straight to video, and there will supposedly be featured faves in the shows as well.
