2003: The Year of the Pirate!

Tonight I realized, 2003 is shaping up to be the year of the pirate. For the first time, two Pirate themed teams will be in the Superbowl(Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Two Pirate movies are coming out(Russle Crowe in Master & Command...and Johnny Depp in Treasure Island)
I heard they are both gonna be rated Arrrrrrr!
(that's a little pirate humour;) )

What's next? Pirate Metal and Pirate Hip Hop?

Trendy pirate fashion for the alternative hip youth? Are we gonan see puffy shirts, eye patches, and pirate pants become all the rage in malls across America?

At any rate, get out your swashbucking peice of eight plank walking off the starvard bow yellow bellied scurvey outfits...
as it's avast ye matey on the high seas for 2003!
