Inspired by a comment from our own Frogboy, over at the Muppet Mindset blog (http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com/2009/08/muppet-fashion-frenzy.html), I'm starting a medieval wig-hunt, in the tradition of the fight-for-freedom-from-flat-head-Kermit.

The wavy locks of hair really make all the difference and doesn't the pig deserve the best? :)

The REALLY long flat wig is sort of interesting, but nothing holds a candle to those sweet loose bouncy curls. They frame her face so nicely and make her look very beautiful and lively.

If I never see the platinum short straight disaster again, it'll be too soon.

I'll voice the UO here, but i don't mind the wigs...having the different wigs and looks is a very "Piggy" thing to me - however the thing is (and why there has now become such an uprising against them) is that they should be the occasional treat as opposed to the NORM.

Play with styles and colors, sure. But let's see them as examples of playing around with DIFFERENT looks instead of being the go-to look.

As long as she doesn't have that UGLY 1980's curly Cher Hair... ick. I never found that attractive. Not on Piggy... not on April O'Neil (check out the original comic book)... not on anybody.

I'd love to have a return to that one right there... at the top of the screen on the MC Forum menu... Now THAT'S the Piggy I love. That should be his normal TV show/movie/style guide hair.

I say for like her hair was in TMS and is it jsut me or does she look different too? I want a Piggy from TMS or TMM, not with ****** short hair, whats next? Spikey hair piggy? Gothic piggy wouldn't be too bad but its probably already happened, whatever colour hair she has It must be long, but my least favourite piggy hair is probably frizzy! God, that hairdo doesen't look good on anyone except Tracy ruddy Beaker! Plus modern-day piggy seems to be the new Barbie, especially witht the new line of Piggy dolls, merchandising isn't a bad thing but Piggy should be her own thing, not a copy of something else, and above all I hate any fat jokes, Piggy IS NOT fat! She's the hottest thing on two (or four) legs, not a walking pile of blubber! Anyway to stop me from rambling any further like Abraham Simpson (they had nickels with bumblebees on them!) I agree, burn the wigs, make it a new muppet sport!:excited:

Has everyone seen the appearance on America's Got Talent yet? We've all been so rocked by the Alternate-Kermit issue that we haven't had a chance to comment on how utterly gorgeous Miss Piggy looked, and sounded, and acted all evening! Her hair (all bouncy and curly) was delicious!
