Big Bird Painting

I titled this "Big Bird Makes Me Happy." You'll recognize the image, I'm sure.

I don't recall, really, but I think this is my very first Muppet 'painting.' Everything else has been done in ink and paint, pencil, or PrismaColor pencils.

The only other painting I ever did of Muppets were head-shots of them on cardboard to glue on the outside of my old cardboard stage when I was a kid. I still have Oscar's head from that, and if I get a photo of it posted I'll share it.

In the meantime, what'd'ya think? :wisdom:

I love it. Isn't it like, the scene from 'Follow that Bird' near the beginning when he's talking to the bird or am I just being particularly stupid today? Anyway, I love it. Big Bird is one of my all-time faves.:wisdom::flirt:

Thanks for liking the picture, friends. It is the shot when Big looks at the little bird sitting on the Sesame Street sign at the beginning of the film. I love that shot.

I think I'm going to paint another Sesame portrait before too long. Sometime in July or August maybe.
