I had a thought of something that would make a good thread .

What are your favorite TV shows to watch or movies that make you feel good when you are having a bad day or sick .

Here are mine ,

The Muppet Show

BBC TV comedy called My Family

Dr Quinn Medic an Woman ( My all time favorite TV show LOL )

Movies that i like to watch when sick or having a bad day

1 Anne Of Green Gables series of films by Keven Sullivan
2 The Great Muppet Caper
3 Jane Eyre ( the one that was made by the BBC back in 1983 with Timothy Dalton and Zela Clark )
4 Any animated Disney film
5 The princess bride
6 The Muppet's take Manhattan
7 The Muppets Christmas Carol
8 Muppets From Space
9 A Dog Of Flanders ( the one that was made in 1999 With john voite cheryl Ladd )

I know i had a long list LOL but those are my faverities on both sides LOL Tv and movies for sick days and just bad days in General LOL . Though i do like these movies and tv shows on good days to .:)

The Muppet Wizard of oz . LOL i wanted to add this to my thread in the edit part of my frist post but when i tried there was a banner add that poped up and i could not do it LOL . That is why i posted it this way in another post LOL .

Well, I have mostly stuck to a TV scheduled. That's sort of how most of my TV viewing works. But it's always good to watch something funny after a hard day and just laugh your heard off.

I totally agree when i have had a hard day somtimes , the NBC TV show Friends .. that show most of the time is the one where after stress i just watch a few eposdies and laugh my head off LOL :)

I like to watch The Muppet Show, Full House, and somethimes Ren and Stimpy when I'm sick. When I'm having a bad day, more often than not, I'll watch something Muppety, and I won't care what it is.

i missed a few eposides over the years hear and there but i have cought up it is a great and funny show . Animated stroke of genuis .:)

Hmm... they don't play a lot of midday movies these days. Not even Beaches! :eek: XD So usually I'll put on a movie of my own (yesterday I watched The Wall fer, like, the 100th time. :D The /best/ movie to watch when you're sick and need cheering up... XP)

I am so the same, but I don't think Little Bear has been on in like, ages. I would my list the same as yours, but I would put in Wife Swap USA, Oprah, Arthur and whatever else is on ABC2.I can't wait til they release ABC3, it's gonna be 6am-9pm kids shows. All day, everyday,all the time. I bet they will bring out some of my favourite shows from when I was like, 3 or 4.

I hope so! Man, I grew up with some great shows... I miss them! Little Bear's on ABC2. Or, well, it used to be. XD Oh- and I love Oprah and Arthur. Arthur's actually a big fave of mine.

Someone mentioned the Muppet Babies earlier in the thread. I was just talking to my daughter about wishing they'd bring the Muppet Babies out on DVD, because I would love that.

I also enjoy Garfield and Friends, Fraggle Rock and I Love Lucy whenever I'm sick.

Typically, I'll pop in DVD's of shows from my childhood. Old School Sesame Street, Land of the Lost, Sigmund & The Sea Monsters, Scooby Doo or a good Disney movie.

I do the same thing i tend to want to watch DVDs all the time when i am sick .

The Disney are one of the best LOL .

Childhood things to for sure :) I loved rainbow brite so much good times and sick time to LOL .

Garfild and friends is always a great one when i am sick to i forgot to put that in the main post to when posted this thread and also Family Guy to LOL . I so love for movies the Love comes softly series from the halmark channel .

I love the messege that is encourging about God 's love .

The books are great to i am reading that series for the frist time to right now .:)
