Did any of you noticed, Ma Gorg never really paid much attention to the Fraggles during Season 1? There's only one episode in that year where she interacts with them, and that's the 2nd episode "Wembley and the Gorgs" It wasn't really until Cheryl Wagner took over the role in Season 2, when we started seeing more altercations between Ma and the Fraggles when she'd scream "Ahhhh a FRAGGLE!" in that screechy voice. I guess one of the reasons they never had Ma and the Fraggles interact much in Season 1, was because they wasn't sure how to make her react to them, and wanted to keep the Fraggles, more of a Junior thing. I wonder if things would have stayed this way, if Myra Fried continued to perform Ma Gorg. Any thoughts?

Season 1 is airing here right now, and I have noticed that Ma gorg doesn't care for Fraggles in her garden, unlike Junior, who seems to leap at anything that moves.

Actually they had it planned from the start that she would overreact, since she does that in the theme song and that pretty much predates everything :3. The only reason I think she didn't do it to start with was because they wanted to let us get to know the fraggles first. Then they could have the gorgs show themselves more for the 'people' they were:excited: *plunks down two cents*:coy:

There's also the possibility that until Junior started increasing his "curious boy" catching phase, Ma didn't really care all that much. It's one thing when a Fraggle or two pop by every once in a while, and another when they seem to be coming out of the rock-work.
