In select theatres in California and Arkansas(sadly I wish there were more states), Muppets Take Manhattan will be on the big screen at Regal Theatres. It's playing at 8 different theatres in California, one in Arkansas

I remember in 1984 being six years old, and seeing MTM at the theatre. I consider it my favorite Muppet film of all time, and it truly has to be experienced on the big screen.

This Tuesday, the following cities will have it
(at 10am)

Aw, dang! I wish I lived near a Regal theatre. California girl, but none of them in this neck of the woods.

You know... I do know that every so often, one of the independant movie houses will have a Muppet Film Festival. Unfortunately it isn't as regular as it's Febuary Vacation Looney Tunes cartoon festival... and it's hardly free. 10 bucks. I always wind up missing it.

I wanted to edit this, and let people know it's both Tuesday and Wednesday. MTM showed at my local theatre on three screens to packed audiences. I say theres much love for our beloved fuzzy friends.

Does this kind of engagement have any chance of being a touring kind of thing (with a stop or two in, say, Atlanta:excited:)? I'd skip work and pay lots to go...
