Well I finally saw Jim's cameo and I think the strangest thing of it is, is even though Jim is playing a character talking to a guy named Bernie (a background refference of his actual agent). It seems that Jim is almost playing himself, but the thing of it is, is that Jim was a very patient and calm guy and I can't imagion him snapping or almost becoming impatient with someone.

And another thing, why did Jim make a cameo in this film?

Was it just to get quick money for future projects?

Anyone know the history behind this?

It might be becaues John Landis, the director, had a good relationship with the Muppets. he put a Muppet refrence in alot of the movies he's done, and Frank Oz has also had cameos in his films also.

That's exactly why, hence why Landis makes a cameo as the agent in Muppets Take Manhattan when Kermit goes up to his office with the afro and crazy clothes.

John Landis also used a Muppet Show clip in his film "American Werewolf in London" and in the credits thanks Jim Henson. They were very good friends.

Call me crazy but hearing Jim Henson read the yellow pages would be captivating. Jim has a very unique quality to his voice. Thanks for the cameo clip
