Conferences?

Can anyone recommend any puppet conferences? I'm aware of Puppets Up in Canada, but am curious to know about more worldwide affairs. I had looked at a reference to a large one coming up in Australia, but I can't find the listing, now.

Can be puppet workshops or a trade show/educational thing; I'm curious to know about all kinds.

Puppetry festivals are a great place to get started performing. Like if anyone read "The Wisdom of Big Bird (And The Dark Genius of Oscar The Grouch)" a puppetry festival was where he got started
