I like weird, wild, playful, insane, funny, and caring girls. Plus I also have a thing for TomBoy girls for some reason.
Have you guys seen Steve Martin's LA STORY (1991)?
If so, you probably remember Sarah Jessica Parker's character "SanDeE*" (some call her the playful ditz).
Oh yeah! That's very close to my type. ;)

Heeeheee...
The ideal guy:
Classy, Intelligent, tall, well-mannered, can catch up to my witty topics of the latest thing in the History Channel, tolerate my wierd theories of Aliens having been in Eygypt (there is evidence), loving charlie Chaplin/Albert E./ Adolf Hitler/ Stalin/ Marx ect. (I do not like the dictators but I am just impressed of how they became so legendary through horrid violence), physically active (I go to the gym alot), and he must be a person who thinks of only his future and plans.
He must be a dreamer, passionate of knowledge, thirsty for life, fun, and logical.
:)
I could make a novel but basically he must be a person who is tip-top!
I am strict with my boyfriend-to-be...
one little flaw such as: I go to nightclubs..
is enough for me to scratch him off my list.
I just expect a person who is not afraid of reaching new heights.
Not a screw-up. XD
Sorry sorry...I am just...
: P I just want a person by my side to be respectable. Not a boy who looks like a gangster and says: DAWG all the time.

For me, I like the kind of girl that's not too tall, but not too short, has nice long blonde hair, bright blue eyes, a lovely pinkish complexion, a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat body with "dangerous curves", but with a wonderfully sweet, yet quirky personality with a great sense of humor, and "hidden" talent! Well, I do not have the love of my life anymore. I found out about his troublesome habits. He is such a bad boy...I hate it. Anyway, my ideal date would be to watch black & white films and eating chocolate chips with milk and cuddles.
My second one would be...
to cuddle with him on the bed and chat happily until I sleep. Some date mm? I may not be exciting but I am just very affectionate. I love the innocence of it all. I think love is so sweet.
I am the classic lover. Old-fashioned...:3 *dreamy eyed now* XD

Let's see.......my date.............
Well, laugh as you may, I've never dated before. So I'll just spice up some things to make it my dream date.
Pick her up by car (Blast the Classic Rock Music from the CD player, and then after the music is over and if it's a long ride, then I'll chat non-stop about Jim Henson, Spitting Image, My Puppetry and Animation.)
See a movie
Go to dinner and make fun of it
Go to the park (at night) and act looney, wild and insane like the creatures of the night (LOL! / Vincent Price's evil laugh). Well at least it's dark and no one else can see us. But they could surely hear us and might want to run. Yes, the insane pranker's dream no doubt
Bring her back to the door.
My original plans: To give her a good night kiss. But instead she tackles me then gives me one.
I know, I got one heck of an imagionation. But that's my perfect date. ;)

Well, for my girl, she's gotta like the Muppets, like the classic Disney movies (Aladdin, Lion King, Mermaid, etc.), appreciate good music and good comedy, laugh, be willing to learn more, have a decent amount of creativity, laugh at my lame jokes, stays up all night watching movies, collecting something is always fun, and I dunno, just an all-around fun girl.

Okay, this is a family- friendly fourm, so I try to keep this post as friendly as possible.:halo: Okay, what I like in a girl is she has to be smart, sweet, funny, and must have an attractive body. Okay, so looks aren't everything, but it is nice to have a girl with nice looks.:D Yep, this is what I like in a girl.
So does anyone disagree with me on this?:sympathy:
I fancy guys who has similar intrests to me. Like music and movies and stuff. I'm not a big fan of blokes with muscles and who are big, I even like the geeky sorts (Gerry Beckley's is sometimes considered geeky, and he's gorgous *drool*). Oh- and they've gotta have nice hair. I love long hair, but I don't really mind as long as they don't have it cut alarmingly short. I have nothing against short hair, this this is my dream-date I'm talking about here y'know, and I like the hippie or '60s-'70s look. *Dreamy sigh*

What always attracts/ed me to men is not looks, not body... but it's their 'it' factor... it's how comfortable I feel around them! If I feel completely at ease around a guy (in fact a girl too) then I know I like them and probably always will! If they make me feel self conscious... uncomfortable or uneasy then I pretty much know I'll never be friends with them... I mean who wants to be around a person that makes you feel uncomfortable or somewhat inferior?
I love a guy that can look you in the eye... give you an amazing smile and look at you like you're the most important thing in the world to him right at that moment. When he looks at you and asks you questions like he really wants to know...without being over the top or kind of desperate... to me that's sexy!
it's that charisma I love... the one that I can't really describe... the one that oozes out of every pore of a guys body... I guess you could call it a form of self confidence... not cocky or vein cause that completely turns me off! It's this unknown factor... the guy definitely doesnt have to be buff or good looking... if he has that charisma... that 'it' factor... then I'm all over it... I'm gone... I'm done... Good night!
I've long come to realise that what men look for in women is so completely different to what us girls tend to look for in men. Unfortunately men tend to mostly focus on body & looks for first impressions and attractiveness (whether they admit it or not), probably comes from that primal sexual instinct they all have in abundance :) ... I don't know.... whereas girls aren't so phased by looks (although we don't mind appreciating a beautiful man but we don't necessarily want to marry them!).
But that's just my own opinion!

I've never really been sure about what kind of girl I've wanted to date or be with. But I do know that I really love the girl that I'm with. She's perfect to me.:flirt:

It's kind of like how the first four seasons of M*A*S*H, Frank and Margaret always TRIED to hide their romance from everyone, even though everyone knew about it, then by the fifth season, Frank didn't care if anyone knew since he went crazy when she got engaged to someone else.

I'm strictly a one-woman guy. I'm an excellent listener, and am always genuinely interested in what someone has to say, even if I don't fully understand the topic. I'll ask her to explain it a little more in detail, so we're on the same wavelength.
I'm always courteous. Call me old-fashioned, but I have it built into me that I must hold the door open for a woman.

I simply do all that just because it's polite; I don't do it to try to impress ladies, or try to pick up chicks, I just do it because it's polite, mannerly, and because that's the way I was brought up. Heck, every time I hold the door open for someone, shortly after I find myself holding the door open for a small crowd of people! At least they all acknowledge that there's still some manners in today's youth; I remember one time I accidentally stepped in front of a man at a buffet at the ice cream machine, and I told him that I was terribly sorry, and that he should go ahead and get his ice cream since he was next in line, and he was blown away at seeing manners like that coming for someone my age in today's world (I was like 13 or maybe 14 at the time, I can't remember). He was so impressed, in fact, that before we left the restaurant, he stopped my mom (because my dad was busy working else where) to tell her how much he was impressed at what a mannerly young man I was being, and that she should feel proud that she brought me up to be that way in the kind of world we live in today.
So see? It's just the way I was brought up. Not trying to get a girl with it, or anything.

I didn't say I hold doors open so I can "impress" someone or "pick up chicks." Yeah, a girl's going to suddenly fall for me just because I held a door open for her.
As I say, it's something built inside me, something I was brought up with. I'll hold the door for anyone. I'm not going to walk into a building with someone behind me and NOT hold the door open, or let them walk in ahead of me.

I kinda feel the same way too. I can take fat, though. Up to maybe 300 or so (I'm not picky, and given my situation, I shouldn't be), but if a girl is toooooo toooo Paris Hilton thin, I don't like it. Maybe on Asian girls, cuz they're just so hot, but not too much on anything else.
Not that I'd purposely take someone huge if I had a choice. But I personally go for facial looks over body anyday.

Everyone...take the advice from an old gal like me (well...I'm older than most of you! )Ahem...this goes for you guys too.A girl could be gorgeous but think she's one of God's greatest creatures.Whereas a plain Jane might be very sweet & kind!

Thanks, Katzi! Yeah basically a handsome or pretty person may turn out to be trouble. And even a plain person can turn out to be a problem. The point is, it's a good idea to be open minded. You have to look beyond the physical and get to know the person. :)
I love this song they did on The Muppet Show. It puts what I'm trying to say perfectly:
"There's a happy-ever-after-land, deep in the heart of man
Where a prince and princess abides.
But all we get are glimpses, of the happy prince or princess
'Cauce they're covered with a green warty hide.
Though they're full of life's potential, they're lacking one essential
To enable them to shine like a star.
That's a handsome guy or missus, to smother them with kisses
And love them just the way that they are."

Pfft, some teens and even pre-teens are focused on those things each and everyday. The ones that don't are given some silly comment of "Oh you need a love life! That is why you are so depressed!" I simply frown at the comment (I am never depressed but people think I am simply because I have not had any experience in the area of omgsh I HAVE A BF!)
It depends on the security of the person to actually want to find a temporary lover at such a wonderful and tender age. I am sorry if I seem to be arrogant by the way I express these thing but I just do not see the need to depend on a kiss to feel better or anything of the sort. XD I laugh each time some student comes up to me and says "Omgsh did you not see him winking at you? He was like checking you out!"
You'd be surprised at how much some teens know these days. I find myself carrying a slang dictionary and a perv detector (That second one was a joke).

People who say "Oh you need a BF!" are often (but not always :) ) insecure themselves and want to make themselves feel better. It can be annoying.
Of course, it's important to try and get out and meet people. But it shouldn't define your whole life.

I know what it's like (sort of), my mom SOOOOO wants me to have a girlfriend/wife/family, I think she's afraid about how I'll make it out in the world by myself what with the way I've grown up in a very close family.
I can't seem to get across to her that I don't WANT a girlfriend, I KNOW I'm a rather independant kind of guy, and I honestly don't see why I'd need a girl to complete my life.
I know I've said that before, but that's just how I feel. Besides, I've found that if you have a girlfriend, that she might end up hating your guts and breaking up with you (or even if you're as far as marriage, she'll end up divorcing you), but if you don't have a girlfriend, then you're never disappointed... and I've got to tell you, it feels phenomenal!

Being an frequent watcher of Dr. Phil, lol, and also of real life, I've noticed that a lot of couples don't do well when they get married too early. They don't even know who are they are themselves yet, nevermind their partner. My own opinion is that it's best to wait. I'm not saying everyone has to, but it can avoid a lot of heart ache.

I need to be honest with you all:
Due to the fact that I'm handicapped,it's not a smart idea for me to find Mr. Right to be my husband. As many of you've seen in my posts,I've suffered headaches & other things in the past. Sad to say, they'll never go away.:(
It wouldn't be fair for him. If I ever got married (and had kids) there'd be days where I'd feel really horrible physically. There'd still be laundry to do,meals to fix,and kids to take care of.
Trust me gang...it hurts like h-e- double hockeysticks. I HATE being alone!  Right now instead of relying on my mother when I'm not feeling well,I just want a guy that'd come to see me & bring me flowers or something, hold me in his arms & massage my head when I'm in a lot of pain.
Sorry if I sounded like a bummer.

Seriously, she suffers from headaches (especially migranes) ALL THE TIME (it runs in her side of the family), not to mention the fact that she busted up her shoulder last year, and yet she still does all those chores just because she wants us (me and my dad) to be happy.

My idea of the perfect girl...
Obviously wouldn't want her to be the following:
One who "witches" over the littlest things for a stupid reason, nag, she shouldn't be the "psycho, analytic, censorship-obsessed (rhymes with broken wrist)" ...you know, things you wouldn't want a girl to be.
What I would like her to be is...
Someone who is caring, trustful, sweet, strong, in charge (kind of like a mother), beautiful in and out...and packs a lot of junk in the trunk. :p

I'd just like a girl who would be happy just spending time with me... who could be my best friend. I'm personally a very affectionate person, so I guess they would have to be all right with that, and not get annoyed with me too much.
Wishful thinking, someone who's into similar things like me... like someone who would be happy cuddling up on the couch with me and watching Fraggle Rock or Dragon Ball. Or going to Theme parks and stuff like that. Someone I could not only love, but to love spending time with.
And, although I'm probably a little young to be after a girl like that... I would want a girl who wants to have kids some time, because I admit, I want to be a dad. :coy:
Hehe, I've probably been a bit descriptive for a stranger to the forum. :o
I totes remember this thread!
And I remember replying to it, as well.
But for me humour is a big thing. Like, I can't relate to a lot of people who simply can't take a joke- but I'm very lighthearted too. Also, humour helps when it comes to tolerating me. ;3 I'm not over-the-top, but I have a fairly flamboyant perosnality (but at the same time I'd like to think I'm pretty laid-back) and there's a chance that people who arn't used to that sort of behavior might find it a bit of a handful.
In my opinion I think similar intrests help. Like music appriciation and the like, it doesn't even have to be exact. I know it's not a problem for many, but for me having similar intrests does help the medicine go down.

a sense of humor is a MUST. they have to be nice to other people. i rully don't wanna go out with a b****. she has to be nice to ME. she has to be understanding and forgiving. she has to be able to be comfortable around me.
looks wise, i am a fan of curly hair. i don't get the whole straight hair trend. not so much. i rully like black girls. is that racist? if it sounds racist, i swear i don't mean to be. lol. i just think that they have the most beautiful facial features. i think hazel/green eyes are rully pretty.

I don't think it sounds negative at all. :halo: To be honest, I go for black guys a lot more. It's just how I roll. Sam Cooke from the 60s was so hot. <3
And as for fictional characters, I LOVE Princess Tiana and her voice actress as well. ;3
LOL, why didn't I think of that? And NERDS ARE HAWT! Like Beakie, for example.
Lawl! Actually, nerds are hawt. x3 Yes, I know, it's a massive generalisation I suppose. I've been to a lot of multimedia expos in my day ("nerd conventions", if you like... xP), and I've noticed despite the whole nerdy glasses-and-pimples-and-high-pants-yadayadaya cliché (which I don't rully mind, personally) I found that they were actually a really good-looking group of people. Like, that's what I thought. O_O And my "nerdy" friends are pretty blessed in the looks department. And they're also metalheads... so, y'know, goes without saying... x3
Good looking. (Kidding, kidding. Definitely not a priority, but it'd be nice. )
It does help. Lol, I'm not dotty about looks, but yes, it is nice, heh. ;) It's kinda annoying when you say someone's hot and people are like, "OMG, yaw tho thallow..." xP To me, personality is the main thing, but that doesn't mean you can't aknowledge people's looks. Secondly, my idea of what's "hot" varies. Like... a lot.

On a really random note, I don't often see a lot of people -mostly males- with green eyes. The only guys I've seen as of late with the eye colour are my older brother and the guy at my library. Oh- and myself. x3 But I'm a girly. That's one thing I like about myself physically, my eyes (except they look yellow in photos- which is... worrying. o.O;; ). <3 Yeah, and I love curly hair, too. Only my hair is Dead Straight. Although since I got it cut -it was nearly down to my waist beforehand =O- it's got a big more volume. But I've always wanted to curl my hair... I like wavy hair, too. i know! there's only one person in our school with green eyes. my sister would KILL for curly hair, but her's is dead straight too. and she always talks about how much she wants my girlfriend's hair, cause my girlfriend is biracial, black and white, and she has really nice curly hair.

Ooh, that sounds lovely. Yeah, my hair is like Marcia Brady's- only longer. Well, used to be. Now I'm like a brunette Marianne Faithful (with longer hair), except... y'know, less perteh. xP
Mm! There's only, like, 3 people in my year level with green eyes- including myself. It's considered a really weird thing, actually. Y'know... I've never actually given it much thought, really. Just goes to show how much it matters to me, eh? I always thought that I'd date someone taller than me (because, as I said earlier, lanky guys are quite gnarly), but now that I tihnk about it height doesn't really bother me. I prolly wouldn't date someone who was younger than me, and... y'know, really, really looked it (but never say never, I guess), but I don't think I'd mind someone tall, or short, really. I'm roughly *5'6* or more, and my friends say I'm "lanky", but... lol, trust me, I'm not. ;3 I have a friend who's quite a bit shorter than me (trust me, even when she puts on massive high heels she's shorter than me) who's dating someone who's over 6 foot (!), so she says that I should date a shorter person, just to even it out, lol.
Yeah, I'd love to try out curly hair- gahh, you're so lucky. People at school hate me because they say they wish their hair was straight and fine like mine, but mine's thickening up and I got it cut. I do straighten it once on a blue moon, but it doesn't really need it (just when I'm looking for that really, really, straight hair, like how I had it beforehand). I need to get a curler- I crimp it sometimes. I need a crimper, though. The way I do it is putting my hair in 8 seperate plaits and leave it like that fer, like, a day. XD
