Hmmm.. a very hard question, indeed... Is it Kermit or Gonzo? Zoot or Lips? Bunsen or Beaker? Rowlf or Dr. Teeth? Fleet Scribbler or Louis Kazagger? Thog or Scooter? Beauregard or George? The choices are oh so hard!

Gonzo is my absolute top favorite, but some of my other favorites are:
-Kermit
-Sam the Eagle
-Statler & Waldorf
-Electric Mayhem band
-Scooter
-Rowlf
-Swedish Chef
-Bunsen and Beaker
Of course, I love them all. The only one I'm not too too fond of is Miss Piggy...

Kermit and Gonzo. I always say that, when it comes to the Muppets, Kermit is my heart and Gonzo is my soul, haha! I need and love them both!

Lately, I've started liking Miss Piggy a lot more than I used to. In some ways, I wish I could be as spunky as she is. Lol
But for a favorite I'll say Janice is definitely up there. I've always liked the sound of her voice, even as a kid. And she's one of those characters where everything she says is funny, just cause of how she says it, lol. :flirt:
And definitely Gonzo, I love when he's totally oblivious to how crazy he is. In a way, that's good, he has no fear of peer pressure. The Muppets would be a lot more tame if he wasn't there. :concern:

For me, it has to be the Electric Mayhem.:D

Rowlf. No matter what the show, book or movie if there's a dog character then that's the one I naturally latch onto.

I can't really pick, but as much as I love the main cast (Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo), I always really finding myself falling in love with some of the more minor characters. Annie Sue, Sweetums, and Dr. Teeth are especially way up there.
All though, to be honest, I can't really think of a Muppet I don't like.

When I was young, the Electric Mayhem were always my favorite, especially Dr. Teeth.:D I was always disappointed growing up that there was a paucity of EM products...although a few years ago I saw a Beanie set at Barnes & Noble that included Dr. Teeth, Floyd, Janice and Zoot. I don't know why I didn't pick it up!
As previous posters have noted, there are far too many to choose, but here are a select few I have always enjoyed:
Crazy Harry
Uncle Deadley
George the Janitor
Muppet Newsman
Lenny the Lizard
Statler & Waldorf
Bunsen Honeydew
Beaker
Wayne & Wanda
Hilda
The Swedish Chef
and...
Lefty the Salesman!
He's a classic Muppet, too!:)

Just out of curiousity, what do you think Lips could portray as a smiley? He's one of my favorite characters!

Hmmm... Maybe shyness (when he's not playing the trumpet he actually seems a bit shy). Or music.

Well, Floyd does have singing, and that's a lot like music, though I like the idea of him portraying shy.
