i have also been a flintsons and jetsons fan the same time as i started watching the muppets .
When i was sick i was a lot as a child mom and dad would rent movies for me a lot .
i loved watching them both , the Flintstons and Jetsons equallly of the two .
i started collecting last year the seasons sets of the Flinsons . i have a ankle brace that goes to the top of my calf and on the heal there is a picture of pebbles and bam bam he he i really tried to get the muppets in any form that i could but they did not make the decals in muppets only loony toons and flinstons and jetsons and sports teams .
i have the jetsons on the top of the brace i have the entire jetson family he he it turned out really cute .
But my all time faverite is the muppet babies along with all of this the jetsons and the flitsons he he .:)

I prefer the Flintstones but the Jetsons are okay as well.

I have all six seasons. Glad i finally got them. I had been recording all the episodes so i could make my very own season sets of VHS but didn't get very far with them. Glad they finally came out and i was able to get them. I also have the first season of the Jetsons too. I really didn't like the newer seasons of the Jetsons but i would still collect them if they were to put them all out on DVD. So i am a big fan of the Flintstones and the Jetsons too.
Also have lots of old and new comics of the Flintstones and the Jetsons as well as toys and stuff animals and old VHS tapes too. I used to have the movie poster of the Jetsons the Movie. Don't know whatever happened to it. Wished i still had it.

Like them I love them. I wish I had the money (and space) to buy a set of them. I have Jetson's the Movie recorded on a VHS tape somewhere that I watch all the time. They were great. I wish there were more things like that around today.

I agree Christy. I would love to see newer cartoons with more comedic timing. We need Warner Brothers to help create a type of cartoon of that same value as the old Hanna Barbera cartoons did.

Perhaps that's why I find the Flintstones more appealing. I love comedy duos.
Laurel and Hardy Abbot and Costello Fred and Barney :D
George Jetson was a partnerless comedy star. (but he did have some hilarious interaction occasionally with his mean employer Mr. Spacely of course) :D

Yeah, my Dad just called me today asking if I wanted some. Unfortunately, my car desprately needs new tires. So that's $500 I gotta come up with. That and my birthday is past. So here's hoping for next year! I love old shows in general. I just finished watching Gomer Pyle USMC. It's great. That and I was practically raised on Ducktales, Chip and Dale and the like. Whatever happened to all the good stuff. Orginal but yet classic. Now we have things like...That's So Raven, and Hannah Montana (which I watch but not as good as the old stuff) and I don't even go near Nickolodeon or Cartoon Network anymore.

I guess i'm the same way with comedy duos I can't get enough of Laurel and Hardy, Abbot and Costello and the Honey Mooners too. When Nick At Nite was showing them i watched them all the time. But i still do like Nick but only for certain shows. I really don't watch hardly any Nick but for those shows i watch.
I love the Flintstones the Best I haven't seen the show in a few years. My in-laws just got a Huge Hi-def Tv and they had to get speacial channels and boomerang was included in the package, which has all the good cartoons. My question is does the flintstones come on Boomerang?

Yep. They still do. They come on at i think around 8 or 9 at night. I really don't watch boomerang that much anymore because it's starting to become a Cartoon Network double. Now it's not as bad i still catch some stuff to watch every once in a while but its not like it was when it first came to on. And i always love how Cartoon Network used to be too. It was pretty neat back in 2000 and all but now it's just anima (which are some things i do like) but not all the ones i see on CN.

I thought I heard somewhere that they're supposed to be making a live-action film for The Jetsons by 2009. That'll be cool to see, especially after seeing two live-action versions of The Flintstones, not to mention one for Scooby-Doo.:)

Yes they do but i they do not show them in order  that can be irratating that is why i stared geting the dvds last year . A lot of the time they just show the firist couple of seasons for monthes at a time even though they have the rights to all six seasons .
They also have the jetsons also once a day and flintsons several times a day .
i hope that you get to enjoy them again wes .
all the best michelle

Speaking of live-action versions of Hanna-Barbera cartoons if any of you can remember their Cattanooga Cats series I always think a production based upon one of their back up features "Around the World in 79 Days" would be excellent.
The actors playing the baddies Crumdin and Bumbler would have to be very comedical and their companion Smirky I can easily see played by a real trained chimpanzee. :D
Anyone else think this idea would be awesome? :D

I love that cartoon Marty. Like i said before i used to record Flintstone's episodes everytime i had the chance to watch them. So i record everything Hanna Barbera. One of the shows (sorry to throw us off the subject) i would love to see on DVD is the "Ruff and Reddy Show." I just love those two characters. I did have lots of episodes record too but i had throw away lots of my old VHS tape and now that did that i'm really mad. I know i had several Muppet stuff on there too. But yea i wouldn't mind see Cattanooga Cats on DVD and a movie of "Around the World in 79 Days" too.

I love the flinstones
I like the flinstones and the Jestsons. But I really don't like the live action movies of the flinstones. They were made as cartoons and I think that's the way they should of stayed. I also like Yogi Bear
