(OOC: I will be out of town til Sunday, but I wanted to get the game started for you so that you aren't just waiting any longer, so here is your first little team challenge...)

Challenge 1: "Muppet's Most Wanted"

I will be giving each member of a team (via PM) a different clue. It will be your job to communicate with all members of your team to put the clues together and identify the Muppet that I am asking for. Once your team agrees on an answer, one of your members will give it to me. First team to complete this challenge by submitting to me the correct answer wins. The team that does not win will have to go to tribal council and vote off a team mate.
Check your PM boxes soon for your clues. Each team will be searching for a different character. This task must be completed by Monday.

So I don't think shelters vould be necessary fright now. He'll probably tell us vhen to start building them anyway, as that'll probably be the first truly big challenge.

Okay, I'm back! You all did a great job on your first challenge, both answers were correct. Though I'm sorry I did not specify whether to post the answer in the thread or to me privately, I will try to be more specific next time. Nonetheless, Team Wocka Wocka got their answer to me first by PM, which was "Oscar the Grouch".
Therefore, Team Wubba Wubba will be heading to the very first tribal council this week to vote off one of their members. Since we have not gone to our real camps yet, the first tribal council will be held out on the beach in front of the lodge. You will then PM me your votes of who you think should leave the island. You may NOT vote for yourself.

Dear Survivors,

I hope you are doing well getting settled in your camps. It is time for your second challenge. Each team will be writing a poem. Each member of the teams will be given a box (really a PM) with an item in it. The members of your teams need to work together to write a poem that includes these items. It can be as long as you want but it must rhyme and include all the items in some form. One member from each team will be responsible for doing the actual writing (posting of the poem ON IN THIS THREAD). Also, do NOT discuss the actual items in this thread, you need to do it through PM just like the last challenge, until your final poem is posted. Any team that does will automatically lose the challenge. The first team to complete this task wins immunity. The team that does not, will be going to tribal council. The task must be completed by the end of the day on Monday, July 31th.
Look for your items in your (PM) boxes within the next few minutes.

This has been brought to my attention...

Team WockaWocka's Snuffle-poem.
Out in the Summers sun
we went out to have some fun

Big Bird with his Shiney YELLOW FEATHERS
It was billy,lisa, Heather and I

We Had 100's of bouncy BALLS
we must have played till night FALL

Mom Called us in to the house for Cabbage and Greens
After dinner we will playe cribbage and eat jelly beans

Then we would go to bed and Dreamland with MR Noodles and son
and dream of the day of oddles and oddles of fun

This poem's style features five stanzas, each with two verses that rhyme with each other. Pluralization imperfections aside, in the second stanza... The first verse finishes with the word "feathers", and then the second verse goes on to rhyme that with Heather. But the verse goes on to say "Heather and I", going past the rhyme for that particular stanza, thus ignoring the rhyme scheme required and used throughout the rest of the poem.

Therefore, in violation of one of the rules, Wocka Wocka's do NOT win the challenge and will go to tribal council. Please place your votes ASAP. This is the final decision in order to be most fair.

Also, sorry for the delay, but my time this week has been quite busy. We will resume on the normal game schedule starting monday with a new challenge. Thank you.

Vell... To answer your question about our poem Bean...
"Feather" rhymes vith "better", as an approximate rhyme.
It's not "cabbage" that makes the rhyme in the third line, but "into" that rhymes with "stew".

Sorry for the delay this past week. Things got a bit complicated with the voting and the last challege. I hope you are all doing well. It was sad that Bean Bunny had to leave the game but it is time to forge on. The next two challenges will be what I call "Cannon Challenges". They are called this because they are quick. What I will do is I will give you a question and your teams will have to solve it as fast as they can and send the answer to me. The first team to answer correctly wins the challenge. There will be two of these, one right after the other, yet they are separate challenges. As you have probably guessed, 2 people will be going home this time.

The first puzzle will be posted later tonight at about 9 PM (US Pacific Time).
