Hola Folks,
My mom brought her labtop so I can post here this week! For those of you who care I'm visiting Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Scottsdale. Sedona is really boring, and the 2 hour car ride from the airport didn't help either. Today I get to somewhat celebrate my birthday, but no presents :( . Talk to y'all later!

Too bad you're not in Phoenix since we could meet up and i could treat you to cake and/or ice cream!

...come to think of it *I* haven't seen the Grand Canyon during the time i've actually lived here (though my family did visit it when i was a kid when we lived in Ohio).

That might be a good thing as i'd be too tempted to relive the Sesame sketch where the cowboy calls over a number to listen to the echo and the echo responds in Spanish. Of course i'd HAVE to do the end part and throw my cowboy hat down there in frustration...and have a sombrero come back up at me!

Yeah, Happy Birthday Scott! Hope you enjoy your trip and that your birthday gets better. Maybe all your presents are waiting for you at the Grand Canyon. Kind of like a huge scavenger hunt thing. That'd be cool! :D

Hiya,

Isn't Sedona where the "Snoopy Rock" is?

YOGI BEAR ROCK?? I haven't heard of that before!!

I also heard there's a Lucy rock that looks like Lucy Van Pelt from teh Peanuts toons from a certain angle.

Sadly I didn't see the Lucy rock. The Yogi Bear rock can be seen from a certain point, and they also have Thunder Mountain because Walt Disney used to live there.

As for my birthday, it got a little better. I took an awesome jeep tour that afternoon and had a nice dinner at a place called the cowboy club. Here's my list of the good and bad:

GOOD
1. red rocks/jeep tour
2. the grand canyon
3. Scottsdale
4. AZ State
5. Arizona Diamondbacks
6. the black cow cafe for hot dogs wrapped in french bread and ice cream

BAD
1. my annoying family
2. every shop is either a trading post or pyschic shop
3. stopping at every spot in the grand canyon tour
4. horseback riding

<<hot dogs wrapped in french bread and ice cream>>

Lets just get this straight - the hot dogs were wrapped in french bread AND ice cream, or the ice cream was a seperate course ?

You amercians are so wacky !

Hey Scott! Glad to hear ya had a good time, despite the few "bad" things. ;) Welcome back! :D

Hmm, we could all sing "Welcome Back, Uncle Matt!", but change it to "Welcome Back, MC Scott!" ;) :D
