How come Jim and the guys (Muppeteers) Didn't do the voices on the animated program ? Why was voice actors replacing the performers ?
And to me, and from what I remember from the credits. It seemed that what Jim basicly did was create the show and produce. (Also made cameos and doing Kermit's voice) But, did he ever write an episode ? Just Curious.

Probably, Jim and his crew were too busy doing Muppet projects to do cartoon voices and to write that show. So they got cartoon voice specialists and talented writers to work on the Muppet Babies series, and surprisingly enough, Muppet Babies had the really funny humor you can hardly find on 80's Saturday Morning shows.

Frank Welker, a very popular cartoon voice actor who did Fred Jones voice in Scooby Doo, and Ray Stantz voice in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon show. In the Muppet Babies, he did the voices of Kermit, Beaker, and Skeeter.
Frank is a great voice actor.
I need to get the Muppet Babies. That was one fantastic 80's cartoon show.

What about guest appearances? Did any of the Muppeteers ever even consider voicing a character on MB?

I looked at imdb.com and went to the guest appearance section on Muppet Babies and found nothing. I think the muppeters were busy with other things. Besides, it would be rude if Jim Henson came on to the set one day and wanted to voice Kermit, even though Frank voiced the character. But the performers themsevles didn't do any obscure voices in the show.
