Let me begin by telling you how it started. I asked my good friend Kermit if he would like to come over for tea. He accepted and asked if he could bring a friend or two. I said sure, the more the merrier and unfortunately he took me literally, and hence two became three and four and five and six and seven and even more than ten, and now there are more Muppets in my house than even the Count can count, and I wish they would all leave because I'm running out of tea. :( HELP

I don't know about spawning but Gonzo just made two long-distance interdimensional phone calls and now the Goblins from the Labyrinth and all the creatures from The World of The Dark Crystal are here. NO LUDO DON'T SIT IN THAT CHAIR!!! Anybody need some firewood, cause that's all this chair is good for now.

Are you just joking or is this actually happening? Is Thog there? What about Lips?

If I were you, I would just enoy the fact that there are so many muppets there, and I would ask them all for their autographs before asking them to leave.

Yeah Thog and Lips are here in fact Lips is blowing a trumpet in my ear right now OW!! As for autographs I ran out of paper about 3 days ago, seems that Dr. Teeth had an idea for a new song but Animal decided to eat it, before Dr. Teeth could write it. Ding Dong.Uh, oh that's the doorbell. Sam will you answer that. There are a bunch of Wierdos sitting on your stoop. There are three basic kinds. The biggest are huge giants, who are not very bright, the next are some medium-sized craetures who love music and playing, and last there are very small creatures who have built a tower so that they can reach your doorbell.
Oh Great now I have Gorgs, Fraggles and Doozers here too. Oh well. At least the Doozers can build an addition on to my house to make room for this bunch, cause it looks like they're going to stay.

I have every kind of critter.
I have every kind of pest
Still I treat them all as equals just like any other guest.

Who would of know that we would want the muppets out of our house but I know what your talking about. I had the band over at my house the other weekend for a concert and then couldn't get them to leave. I'm still finding stuff of theirs strolled around the house. Animal was the worse of them all. He would bite into everything. I couldn't keep him off the dog too. Geess..... :halo:

Yeah, it certainly is a mess here. Ding Dong. Oh there's the doorbell Fozzie would you answer the door please. What does it want to know? Never mind I'll get it myself. Bunsen & Beaker Extermination Services. Aaah finally, do you think you can get rid of this bunch. Certainly we specialize in Muppet removal. MEEP MEEP MEEP MEEP. Now Beaker I know they're your friends, but this poor soul is running out of room, not to mention there is no food left in his refrigerator. MEEP MEEP Oh yes I see, looks like Cookie Monster ate the fridge along with the food. Well no matter, let's see if we can't get rid of these guys. This had better work. Oh it certainly will. Now Beaker if you will just pull that little red lever there, no that one the one THE OTHER ONE Oh great now I don't have the muppets in my house because I don't have a house.

I'm not sure how that would be worse, but I think the problem is going to get worse any second now because The Doozers are trying to build me a new house while the Fraggles are eating the building material. Meanwhile I have checked into The Happiness Hotel along with all the other guys. Look for a new post by the owner of the hotel entitled "How do I get the Muppets to leave my hotel." :zany:

I have no idea I started this thread in the Classic Muppets Section, a few days ago, then I came in today to post and couldn't find it, so I did a search and located it, apparently somebody misfiled it. Maybe the administrators can put it back where it came from minus the two posts about how it got into the games section.

It could be worse being a moose because then, you could made into chocolate moose, and that can't happen because you need to be a host(ess?) for your muppets who are invading your house! Simple. :)

This started off as a silly joke. In fact, you may have noticed in several of my posts I have included comments from Muppet characters that would be appropriate in the situation for the post. I put it in the Classic Muppet section and somehow it got moved into the games section by the administrators. Due to its being moved into the games section and thus resulting in a few misunderstandings I am going to stop it now. However, since the Doozers have fixed my house I will continue to allow the Muppets to visit me, but only one or two at a time and they will only post when it is appropriate for the post and the situation.
BTW special to Ms Pepper I was a host to the Muppets. If you will look at my profile you will see that I am a male. Also, my wife did not appreciate some of the advances that Miss Piggy was making towards me. :flirt:

I finally got rid of my horde of huoseguests. I just told them that I was out of food and out of money and that if they wanted to continue to stay, they were going to have to start paying room and board. Well faster than I could say Crystal Bats, Jen and Kira hopped on the back of two Landstriders and made like the wind. Then Aughra rode out on the back of a Garthim. Then the Skeksis and the Urru merged into the Urskeks and disappeared in a blinding flash of light. Then I heard the patter-pitter of the Goblins making a disorderly march to my door, with Ludo, Hoggle and Sir Didymus right behind them. The rest was all a jumble, but you get the idea. The last to leave was Kermit. But now I have one big problem. Guess who has to clean up this mess!!!

I was cleaning up the mess froom the muppets when I came across a sack left behind by the Soilder from the Storyteller's story of The Soldier And Death" I looked at the sack, realized what it was and told all the dust, dirt, grit and grime in my house to get in it. It worked, my house is cleaner than it's ever been, so I have one slightly used Hoover Vacuum Cleaner for sale. Guess having the muppets over was good for something after all.

I was putting the furniture back in place
From when the Muppets and company visited my place
When I found a hunting trophy which wasn't mine
How I got it escapes my mind
The animal upon it was not very clear
I really didn't know what I had here
A buffalo
A helk
A hartingbeest
Then I almost had to shriek
For the thing began to speak
And said (all together now)
I'm a gnu
How do you do
You really ought to know
Who's a who
I am not in the least
Like the buffalo or the dreadful hartingbeest
And if you call me a helk or any such stuff
I'll send you to the South Pole in the buff
I'm a gnu
Spelled G N U
Know know know
I'm a gnu

Now I wish someone would claim this gnu's head
For I don't like having it over my bed
It keeps on singing incessantly all the time
So please someone take it before I go out of my mind!

I invited the muppets to my house again to celebrate the debut of the Muppet Stamps. However in order to avoid a repeat of the last fiasco I have set some ground rules.

1. Party starts at 4:00 P.M. and ends at 8:00 P.M. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY [/U] is to be out the door by 8:00

2. No Long-distance interdimensional phone calls. I'm still paying for that last one.

3. If you bring it in take it out. Nobody is to leave any of their possessions here. I still have the gnu.

4. No attempts to flirt with me or my wife. We are happily married and we want to stay that way. This goes double for you Miss Piggy.

5. Extra friend bringing is restricted to two guests per invited Muppet. Nobody is to bring an entire world of I Don't Know What's to here.

6. The only thing anybody is allowed to eat is FOOD.

7. Singing, dancing, and playing of instruments is allowed. Using of my head as an instrument is not allowed, Marvin Suggs.

8. Oscar stay out of my trash!!![/U]

9. The toilet is only for toilet paper and what comes out of you. NOTHING ELSE!!!
10. No bad-mouthing my friends at Muppet Central. And I mean it Sam.

Other than that they can have as much fun as they want.

Against my better judgement I have decided to invite the monsters of the Muppets over for a Halloween Party. However, we have to settle one small argument. Ludo wants me to let all the monsters that Jim Henson created for movies that were not his come too. Such as Little Shop Of Horrors' Audrey II. Herry, on the other hand doesn't like that idea, he thinks this party should be strictly for JHP monsters. I'm inclined to agree with Herry since I'm not sure if my house is big enough to accomodate Jabba the Hutt. But if I don't invite them, the Mirrormask bunch says they aren't coming either. Please help me by voting yes if you want the non JHP monsters that Henson created to come, or no if you want just the JHP guys. On October 29th I will tally up all the votes and decide how to do this party.

The Jim Henson Company did not create Audrey II or Jabba The Hutt. martin Robinson may have designed Audrey II for the musical, and Frank Oz may have directed the 1986 version of Little Shop of Horrors, but The Jim Henson Company wasn't involved with the making of the plant. The Jim Henson Company did build Toka and Razar for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of The Ooze. However, I vote for you to only invote monsters from Jim henson productions, and not any monsters from movies that The Jim Henson Company was just involved with making characters for.

10-18-2005, 09:07 PM
Brian performed the plant according to the videotape box description that I have. As for your vote I am logging it in. Also while the creature shop may not have made Jabba some of Henson's employees were working inside the tail and body of that Hutt, so according to Ludo who wanted them in the first place that counts. Remember without a puppeteer a puppet is just a lifeless mass of material.

I'm thinking of having the Muppets over for Thanksgiving (why, I don't know). However, I have one small problem, seeing as how there are quite a few Muppet birds not to mention other animals I don't want to serve turkey or any other kind of meat. I was thinking of a vegetarian idea but then I remembered that some SS segments have featured Muppet Vegetables. So now I'm stuck, because there's not much else to eat except meats and vegetables. So if onyone could come up with some suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.

I get the message, yeah I know this joke is beginning to get a little old, even for me. I didn't quite expect it to go on for so long. Even after I tried to stop it I still got people posting in it giving me several ideas on what to do so I guess I will continue my occasional mass muppet feasts (or fiascoes as the case may be) I'm also thinking of sending the Muppets to England for a candlelight supper at Hyacinth Bucket's place watch for it in January.
