View Full Version : Muppets' "Who Said That?"
Fozzie Bear
06-15-2005, 04:07 PM
From BEAR:
I would like to propose a new game. I call it "Who Said That?"
Basically it is a name-that-quote kind of thing. One person says a line from a Muppet film or show, and the next person has to guess who said the line.
for ex: If I say "A bear in his natural habitat. A studebaker."
the next poster would have to say: Fozzie Bear (The Muppet Movie)
So to begin, here's a real stumper!
"Time's fun when you're having flies."

I know it was Kermit. Is it from Kermit's Swamp Years?

I think taht this popped up somewhere else in a discussion thread and we decided ti was in a book attributed to Kermit rather than actually said in a film? Or has the old mind gone again...

Go Harvey. Your turn.
Also, it might be easier for some of us, if we include the quote that we are answering for in your post. Just quote the quote and then answer. That way we don't get two quotes mixed up. Did that make ANY sense? If not then forget it. You are all doin fine.

I have a feeling it is from Very Muppet Christmas Movie. I could be wrong though. I don't even know who said it.

Here's one: it's from a film -

No..
Bear in the Big Blue House? Wow..i'm lost.
Okay, I'll tell ya. It was from Elmo Saves Christmas. Remember? Here is the rest of the scene to help you.
Maya: Elmo went home and put his stocking by the chimney.
Telly: With care!
Zoe: Oh, I've got a chimney at home!
Baby Bear: (embarassed) Bears have radiators.
OH! yeah! I completely forgot about Baby Bear being on that film. All I really cared about in that movie was Big Bird and Snuffy's story and how "it's a wonderful life" played over and over and Ernie and Bert would hear their names...LOL

Just a little comment on "culture is culture." I knew that was Sam because I remember reading it in the book before I saw that ep. I'm not trying to brag or anything like that, but I just thought I'd point that out.
Exactly! Finally! (Kermit's waving his arms screaming: "YAAAAAAAAY!") Now our next quote please Daffyfan2003...

Yeah it was Kermit. From the Lola Falana episode of The Muppet Show where Gonzo was leaving for Bombay India to become a movie star.:concern: This was Kermit Comforting him on his decision. I cried, personally ("No Gonzo, don't go!!"). Does this mean that I get the next quote or is this Anytimepally's turn?
