Hey guys, hope everyone saw the newest Muppets TV production. And as always, I'm here to ask for everyone's help with getting the cast of characters sorted out to add to the Muppet Listings.
So, without further a-do, here's the list of characters I got I need help with.
Dorothy Gail. Or is it "Gale"?
Aunt Em.
Uncle Henry.
The Weatherman, he shows up toward the beginning of the film.
Toto.
The Mayor of the Munchkin Rats.
The Munchkin Rats.
The Wicked Witch of the East.
Tatty-Poo, the Good Witch of the North.
The Crow.
The Scarecrow.
The Tin Thing.
The Cowardly Lion.
The Savage Bunnies.
The Colliding Bridge Critics (Statler and Waldorf), hope that was the correct name.
The Poppy Fields Club Owner, Clifford, should he be added under such a title?
The Emerald City Doorman (Sam the Eagle.
Not sure how Scooter, Bunsen and Beaker should be added if at all. Should they be "The Wizard's Assistant" (Scooter) and "The Emerald City Scientists" (Bunsen and Beaker?
The Wizard of Oz, need help with all four forms he/she appeared as and his normal appearance towards the end.
Who portrayed the Wizard when he changed to the woman who tempted the Tin Thing?
The Flying Monkeys.
Floyd, the Leader of the Flying Monkeys, at least I think that was his name. This was the one who answered that the witch's bathtub water was partially filled or topped with water from the hose.
The Wicked Witch of the West.
Glinda, the Good Witch of the South.
Please post descripts of these and all/any other characters from the movie that should be added to the list. If describing human characters, please remember to add the names of the actors who portrayed the roles.
Hope to hear from my trusted sources soon and have a greatweeekend!

True enough, they even called themselves by their own names. But... The Swedish Chef just came in near the end with the bran cereal. Scooter, Bunsen and Beaker on the other hand, all had offices within the Wizard's charade at Emerald City. As the movie says, Scooter's the First Assistant to the Wizard himself, and then Tambor refers to Bunsen and Beaker as his scientists at Emerald City Laboratories.
Well, hopefully some of my other sources will report soon and we can get this all sorted. Oh, and remember to post with whatever other Muppet characters appeared that I might've left out. Should rully go over this again with the DVD release to ask about the one-lines of dialogue with characters I don't know who said the lines due to my eyesight.
Well, have a good night and a great weekend.

So... Uh... You're saying that the Chef was named "Flakey" who was asked to bring the noggin?
Hoping for descripts of the characters from MWoO in hopes of getting everything sorted and added to the list.
Also, should this thread be moved to the Muppet Headlines section of the forum?
LMK and hope to get some more info from you guys and gals.

What help do you want with them? Who played them? Actors? Descripts?

Yep. For the human actors, I'd appreciate getting the names of the characters, the names of the people who portrayed each one, and descripts of what they looked like.
As for the Muppet characters, I'm looking for descripts of what they each looked like.
The list of characters is in the first post of this thread if that helps. Again, hope to hear from you guys soon.

Sorry, Count. The line I posted was not Chef's name, but his one line in the entire film. If I confused you, I sincerely apologize. Chef played himself for his cameo.

That's OK pal. Just hope that my trusted sources have seen the TV movie and can help out with the descripts I need.
If not, then I guess I'll just go ahead and add the characters tomorrow or over the course of the next week and sort them out later.
Rully hoping for help with the new crop of characters from MWoO. And have a great weekend.

Uh guys... Rully need help with descripts of all the vonderful characters from MWoO so they can be added to the list.
Should this thread be moved over to the Muppet Headlines section of the forum?
Already contacted Phillip about it. But what I rully need and would rully appreciate is help with descripts and sorting out all the characters from the telefilm with you, the people who saw it in its entirety.
Hope to hear from you guys soon and have a good day.
you forgot about Camilla. Also, Floyd was not the leader of the Flying Monkeys. He was with the Electric Mayhem in the Poppy Club. Sal and Johnny were the leaders of the Monkeys. Also in the gang were Crazy Harry, Sweetums, Old Tom, Angel Marie, and a few others.

Well...
1 It's not that I forgot about Camilla, it's just that she is herself in this Muppet production. Unless you think it just to include her as "The Tin Thing's Girlfriend" but I'll deffer to my sources on that one.
2 There's Floyd from the Electric Mayhem who were at the Poppy Fields Night Club. But there's this character named Floyd who replies that he finished filling the Witch of the West's bathwater with water from the hose. Is this second Floyd a completely different character? If so, please describe what he looks like and if he should be added to the list.
3 Based on the guys in the Flying Monkeys, should these be added to the list? Or should the entry for the Flying Monkeys be eliminated?
Hope to get some answers soon, and be sure to check out my last post in the "Muppet Listings 15.0" thread for the rest of my MWoO questions.

It's the GALE family who goes to Oz. (Actually, in Emerald City of Oz Dorothy, Em, and Henry all go to live in Oz, and in a later book Toto DOES talk).
Good Witch of the North doesn't hyphenate her name: it's Tattypoo.

Ed: The character who "topped it off with a hose" is not named Floyd, he is named Angel Marie. He first showed up in MTI, and here he's a prominent member of the Flying Monkeys. He has a huge round head, two pigtails, warts, wrinkles, a fat stomach and speaks with a deep voice. I would add him to the list, as he played a good-sized role here. He is performed by John Kennedy. I see where the confusion came from: John also performs Floyd from the Poppyfields Night Club. This is the only Floyd in the movie. Hope this helps! -Liam

Thanks guys. Will drop the hyphen from "Tatty-poo" to "Tattypoo".
Angel Marie's already in the list, from MTI.
Here are some other lingering questions I'd appreciate you guys answering.
1 Should Sam the Eagle be added as "The Emerald City Doorman"?
Should Sam the Eagle be added as "The Soldier" as listed on www.toughpigs.com's cast list?
2 Should Scooter be added as "The Wizard's Assistant"?
3 Should Bunsen and Beaker be added as "The Emerald City Scientists"?
Though these Muppets appeared as themselves, they could be added per the headings attached with the role they played within the structured Emerald City
hierarchy.
4 Should Clifford be added as "The Poppy Field Club Owner"?
5 Should "The Crow" and/or "The Cow" be added? Or should they be left off the list?
6 Was Very Old Tom the same character as Really Old Tom from MTI?
If these were two different characters, please describe how they differ from each other.
7 Who was the character identified as "Spotted Dick"? Please describe what it looked like.
8 What were the four forms the Wizard adopted during interviews with the main gang?
Also, please provide the actress's name who portrayed the chicken temptress.
9 Who are the Savage Bunnies? Should they be added?
Hope to hear from you guys soon.
Would also appreciate help with descripts of the cast from MWoO, but I guess I'll have to wait till some of my other trusted sources get the DVD in August.

Ed:
In response to your question regarding Clifford, I would add him as "The Poppyfields Bouncer" and not the owner. It seems that his role was more of a bouncer, as the owner would probably be inside somewhere and not outside the building as he was. The rest of the characters seem pretty good. I have no idea who the Flying Bunnies are, sorry. -Liam

Spotted Dick was the Alagator from MTI. He purple with a long snout. He looked just like he did in the MTI. I'm not really for sure if he did but he was one of the flying monkey characters. The Slave Bunnies are just bunnies that were proubley that were in "Picnic Bunny" speical. Just two anything bunnies I guess. No names for them. There were only 2.
Thats about it. I'll go watch some more to help you out more.

OK thanks. So, recapping...
Spotted Dick: The puppet used as Purple Hunchback I've already got listed from MTI. But since it was given the name of "Spotted Dick" it'll be added as a new entry.
The Savage Bunnies: These were the ones tht appeared when we meet the Cowardly Lion in the forest. The Lion's afraid of even the bunnies, savage bunnies. That was a bit I liked, reminded me of the savage bunny from Holy Grail.
You think Clifford should be added, uner the heading of "Poppy Fields Club Bouncer"? OK, will do.
Would appreciate any help with the rest of the questions posted above.
