Fraggle Rock - Doozers Date Definite
Posted by David Lambert
4/16/2005

It's been just a week and a half since we reported the MuppetCentral.com news that Fraggle Rock - Doin' Things That Doozers Do - the 4th single-disc release from the popluar 1983 kids show - would be shipping out on Sept. 6th. Now Amazon has verified the date, placing the title up for pre-order so you can lock in your copy right away. Their current cost is just $11.89, which is discounted from a $16.99 SRP. Stay tuned and we'll have cover art and more details just as soon as HIT! Entertainment releases them.

It's fair to mention to our readers that HIT! is considering buy-out offers at this time due to financial issues in their company, and if this happens than it may of course affect their release plans. Among the companies considering the idea of purchasing HIT! are Classic Media - who is connected with Sony Music - and Lions Gate Entertainment.

Classic Media of "Rocky & Bullwinkle on season boxes" fame?

...I could live with that. :zany:

Of course, remember that buying HIT doesn't simply mean FR (which is low on HIT or CM's totem pole), but also Barney, the Wiggles, Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine, and the Teletubbies.

...FR may not be a selling point for Sony by itself, but it's got influential friends.
