Hi all!
I found this Piggy today and need help. Who manufactured it? Where was it sold? What did the packaging look like?

Hi Ryan,

This figure was made by a company called Avalon in the range of craft items that they released on the Muppets in the late 70's.

They produced several of the Muppet chracters as blank figures (unpainted) and with the supplied paints you painted them yourself, thats why she looks a bit crude.

Thanks, Michael! What other Muppets were in the set?

I had a set of these figures.
Unfortunately, being around 4 or 5, not too many have survived the years.

The ones that I know I still have are Dr. Teeth and Animal (they are still sitting in a shadow box with many original star wars figures). I remember the set had quite a few figures in it (maybe 6 or 7).

The figures were all sculpted in a "seated" position, but were full bodies.

I want to say that Kermit, Fozzie, and either Rowlf or Gonzo rounded out the set.

One of these days I'm going to go through the boxes in my parents' basement and rediscover the lost treasures.

The set includes: Animal with drum, Fozzie, Kermit on a stump, Dr. Teeth sitting on a box, Miss Piggy with hands crossed, and Scooter.
