I've read another post, and someone hinted that the Japanese SS coproduction has started. I wonder if this is true, and if anyone has any information on it at this time.
Secondly, a couple other SS coproductions have been unveild, such as India and Ireland. I know, India is a year off, but someone... i forget the name...said that he was seeing the puppets being made, but hasn't answered about what they look like. But I want to know if anyone knows the current status of the Ireland coproduction.

Yes it is true. There is info on it here:

The Japanese version has four new Muppets:
*A purple female monster with blue pigtails named Teena, who I think is the Zoe of the show.
*A green monster named Mojabo, who looks like a cross between Telly Monster and Stinky the Plant
*A little yellow bird named Arthur, who I think may be related to Little Bird
*A light-blue frog named Pierre
...and it has Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and Elmo interacting with the four Japanese Muppets.
Ernie, Bert, Oscar, Grover, The Count, etc I believe are seen in the clips dubbed from the original SS like in all of the co-productions. I think they use clips from our SS, since most of the international versions do. The five Muppets are seen on the site like the seven others are:

..and according to Yahho News, the Bangladeshi co-production of Sesame Street, entitled "Sisimpur", will debut on April 1 this year.
Hopefully this isn't an April Fools' Joke. :p

Thaks guys. The site doesn't work for me as of yet... I'm using a library computer, and I don't think the flash player has been updated, but it's good to know these shows went somewhere, since I've heard of several co-productions lately.

I don't know if this will interest you or if you already know about it but theres an Australian Sesame muppet here in Australia named Ollie. the link has more info. http://www.nickjr.com.au/site/default.asp?pageID=100§ionID=78
I was actually lucky enough to see Ollie the other day and meet his puppeteer briefly.
