Oh no, not at all! I think I've always been one who generally likes "uncool" things and dislikes the "cool" things. But I love being that way. After all, we all have our own personal super cool and groovy things in our lives! :DExactly. I know many of my fellow fans have since moved on from the WWE business, but as a true fan, I respect the company for what it does & still enjoy it from time to time, despite problems that the company has had over the years.

I know the feeling. Modern pop is horrible. They have a person who does everything for the 'artist',from writing songs, to dance moves and so all the person ever does is lip-sync and make money! It's stupid. In Europe decent bands make the top 50 on a regular basis, to quote Children of Bodom guitarist Alexi Laiho "Back in Finland A metal band like Nightwish is just as likely as Britney Spears to top the charts"

SO true! Today a heckuva lotta muso's just... don't play music for music's sake. It's disgracful, really. Modern pop is scary. Most of the mainstream stuff, anyway. Half of the girls in my year, when I tell them I like rock (even the really soft stuff) they're like, "that stuff is too agressive, it has electric guitar in it" (?). Either that, or they're like, "I love rock. Avril Lavigne and Mika are awesome!" *shudders*

I am slowly starting to like metallica. Its weird. Sometimes I hear one song by a band and practically worship them *cough*Bon Jovi*cough* and then others I hear and I'm like "ew" then after a while I start to like them. It happened with Greenday :p

Guns N Roses Appetite for Destruction album was great. I have an AfD Cd from way back in 1987 (or whenever it came out). Its really scratchy, but it plays fine in our car. Its amazing how hard it is to find that cd, even in the current run of it. My dad just happened to come across it in a thrift store. :D

I love Appetite for Distruction! A classic album, fer sure. :D
Yeah, that's what happens with me. I hear one song by someone and I'm like, "that's SUCH a cool song!" so I buy a whole album just for the one song. Then I decide to just listen to the whole album and I begin to love the musician even more (happened to me with Peter Frampton and Tood Rundren, and many others).

I quite like Metallica, I think it was my brother who got me into them. He plays their music tons and at first I was kinda like, "what is THAT?" (although I've been aware of them fer years) but I've grown accostomed to 'em now.

I recently bought a Contact Juggling clear Acrylic ball. Which is like the ones used in Labyrinth. I'm trying to learn Contact Juggling, it's been fun so far...and I shall keep persevering. But it really does look magical, the clear ball. (that was until I got a few nics in it from dropping it and it rolling into harder objects.) But it still looks so awesome.

One of my very very favorite singer/songwriter/musicians is Pete Seeger. He wrote those lyrics right there from that song the Byrds covered - "Turn, Turn, Turn" and he's an amazing man. He will turn 90 on May 3rd, and he's doing a concert with a bunch of people with the money going to an environmental charity. There is a film about him called "The Power Of Song". That film is one of my favorite things. :) ROCK ON, PETE!
