You may want to check out the friends and family threads or even the general discussion forum for this type of info. Heck, you can even randomly check out member profiles from the members link at the top of the page!

32? How come sometimes you make it sound like your way older?(by saying youre not telling your age) 32 aint nothin! Most those big alterna rockers like Trent Reznor and Eddie Vedder are way older than 32. My goodness...isnt Jerry Nelson like 125? And he has the enthusiasm and fun and feel of a sharp young whipper snapper inquiring about a puppeteering job in 1963. Believe me folks, after meeting the puppeteers last year, in the Muppet love and appreciation world, there is no age.
10, 110, its all good.

For us older folks...I'm 32...It seems okay, kooky, irreverent to have an obsession, hobby or collection when you’re in your 20's. But like Logan's Run...and all of you under 30 won't get the reference...the crystal in your hand changes after 30. “They” don’t understand why anymore and you become ostracized, weird, an outcast, ever running and hiding from friends and family. It is places like this that I can feel normal again...BUT NOOO! Had to start this thread! Had to know my age! Well now I'm running again....
Will I ever be safe???

Actually, they made an entire SERIES (65 episodes) of that thing.
I'd like to take Ruxpin, Strawberry Shortcake, The Care Bears and their ******* cousins, Rainbow Brite, The get Along Gang, Rose Petal Place, Herself the Elf, drop them all in a deep pit, fill it with gasoline, and set a match to it...:D
At Least we had He-Man and Inspector Gadget..

I started going to this site a long time ago, around the time that it began, but I didn't become a member to the forum until way later, and my screen name wasn't even Wemblin' Kate, it was Wemblin' Cora. That's a long story. But gosh, I just remember thinking the whole time, that I was the only one around my age who was such a big muppet and fraggle fan. I honestly thought everyone on the forum was around my brother's age(he's 22), which most of you are, but I must say I am surprised at the number of people who are around my age. Because, to be honest, at my school it's hard to be a muppet fan, no one really understands or appreciates your muppet fandom. It's weird and I'm babbling. So I'll stop.
I am 16. I turn 17 in February, as said in the calendar.

It's easier to be in college and be a Muppet Fan. Colleges have a wider range of people who understand more than a small High School does. In High School everyone are drones. In college there is more freedom of identity :) And if you're working you keep hush hush about your Muppet obsessions. LOL!

When I was an undergrad Muppet references and songs made it onto the TV and radio all too often when I was around, I still try to sneak some in when I can. My workplace is well aware of it too, with my German coworkers always bringing me back Muppet stuff from Germany.
