View Full Version : Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

UPDATE AS OF 9/24/08 TO THE GAME FOUND HERE:
http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showpost.php?p=701383&postcount=23156
A mixture of Muppet College Roommates and College Dorms.
Basically, in prior games by these names we had devised a dorm and players were choosing who their roommates were, as well as their neighbors, and where they lived in relation to one another by rooms and location.
As memory serves correct, The Count had a better grasp of the game and mentally visualized where everything was in relations to each other in the dorm, so I turn all that over to him in this game.
I'm thinking it's a large building with multiple bedrooms, at least 2 living/tv rooms, a game room, community showers/toilets, kitchen, laundry room, across the street from the college with a jacuzzi on the side and parking in front (between it and the college). Okay, so I've always visualized it as Quitman Dorms from my college daze--er, days.
And, of course, there are SOME rules:
(Philo & Gunge helped here)
1. You cannot steal someone's room-mate. Muppet Babies do not count for this game (ie, I choose Fozzie Bear, of course; thus, nobody can choose Baby Fozzie as their roommate. Likewise, it would just be silly to have a baby in college anyways).
2. Respect other players, or you get booted from the dormitory!
3. Be sure you tell why you choose your roommate, and if it isn't a well-known Henson creation be sure to tell where the character is from.
4. You can only choose Henson related characters as part of the game (ie, TMS, JHH, MT, SS, BITBBH, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal...)
5. Have fun!
==================
My roommate---> :o Because, he's my screenname, he's funny, empathetic, and loveable, and my cousin twice removed. heh.

P&G are my roommates, you know, the Trash Heap rats from FR. Because there my favorite Muppets and besides, I get more space because there small!

I choose Robin, because I love Robin!

Thanks Foz, much appreciated you opened the dorms again. Here are some additional guidelines for the dormroom's gameplay.
1 Roommate Selection.
1.1 Choose the Muppet character(s) who would be your ideal college dorm roommate, so long as they haven't been taken already.
1.2 If you're having trouble choosing a Muppet character as your roommate, then you could:
a. Consult my "Muppet Listings 12.0" thread for possibilities, or
b. Contact me directly and we can discuss a few suggestions based on your screen name.
1.3 Once you've chosen a roommate, select what numbered room you'd want to occupy within the dorms. Select your room from the numbered rooms #1-59.
2 Room Design.
After selecting your roommate(s) and numbered room, which should be posted in the thread, design your room according to both your own and your roommate(s)' tastes. Be sure to post a full descript of what your rooms look like, not only for the benefit of those who are imagining what it actually looks like, but so that some members of the forums talented enough may create artist's renderings and create a full representation of the dorms at some point in the future.
3 Hanging Out.
Now that you've gotten settled in the dorms, it's time to interact with your fellow boarders. You may engage in conversation with people you see in the halls, common rooms, or in the lobby. You may invite others to play games or watch movies in your room, or in the common rooms. You may invite others to dinner at a local campus restaurant, Sesame Street for special parties, to the moviehouse, or just to accompany you to your classes. It's meant to evolve as the players post about integrating their college lives, should they have one, with their experiences here in this dormhouse setting.
If we have to start all over again by selecting new roomies, then so be it. However, if the old enrollment list is to be enforced, then LMK and I'll post who's rooming with who.
Hope this helps and have a great time at the ol' dorms!

Thank goodness I packed my Looney Tunes tapes/DVD's. Come on, P&G let's go watch some Looney Tunes, it's been days!
Guys, it was a long drive here, I hope this drive was worth it.

I think that I might have to choose Miss Piggy. After all she's fun, likes clothes, and to eat. She stands up for herself and doesn't take crap from anybody. If it wasn't for the fact that she's a pig and I might not fit into her clothes, I would borrow some of them in a heartbeat. Our room would be on the bottom floor and close to the jacuzzi, where we would wow everyone with how great we look in our bathing suits  we would eat. a lot. because that's what I do. Thank goodness for fast metabolisms.

OK, since noone's taken a room yet...
*Takes place behind lobby desk... Oh sorry, the dorm's haven't fully opened yet.
You see, Biff and Sully and a staff of Doozers are building the dorm house. So, for everybody's benefit, a descript of the dormhouse will follow.

Yikes! Better post this quick before they're taken! Mokey with Lanford, her pet deathwart plant or The Count von Count with his bats would be my roomies. Still have to choose which, but rest assured I'll tell you guys which I've decided on.
And I'll take Room #1 on the basement level.
Hope to hear from you soon, and have a great time.

Mokey! The Count! Mokey! The Count! Mokey! The Count! Mokey!
PHILO, SHUT UP! Gunge? Can you slap him?
Let that be a lesson, Philo!
Hey, guys. What do ya wanna do while we wait for the dorms to be ready?

Dormroom Descript.
OK, imagine a four-story white marble building. Actually, only three of its stories are visible, cause the bottom floor is a basement floor sunk into the ground. There's a flight of steps leading to the main doors, two identical green doors similar to those of 1-2-3 Sesame Street. There's a flagpole up on the top of the building with an unfurled flag of Kermit blowing in the wind.
Lobby: As soon as you walk in, you enter the main floor's lobby. There's plush carpeting on the floor, two tables with a compliment of plush chairs, and a wooden desk in front of you. This desk is the sign-in desk where I work as the clerk. There's a shelf with marble room numbers and room keys hanging from their respective pegs. Just ring the bell on the desk and I'll try to come up as soon as possible to take down your room number and hand you your room key. There's a side window that opens up to the adjoining room, #24, where Aaron our resident bellboy resides. He'll promptly help you with your bags, that is if he's still employed. If not, then we'll get some bats to help out. After you've got your room, we pass through the first door on the desk's right. Past this door, there's another one on our right which leads to a multicolored spiral staircase. And in front, there's the door which leads to the roomed hallway.
Room Layout: The floors divide into West Wings and East Wings. Generally, there are eight rooms in each wing, but there are a few exceptions. The layout is the same on each floor.
Common Rooms: This is the room you'll find directly in front of you after passing through the hallway's main doors. The carpeting on each floor's common room differs. The first floor depicts little white chickens, yellow Rubber Duckies are printed on the second floor, black numbers from 1 to 13 litter the third room, and the fourth floor's common room features small red radishes. There's a trashcan in the back lefthand corner of each common room, and you'll find Oscar the Grouch living in the second floor's trashcan. (This character is exempt from roommate status, meaning he can't be picked by anyone.) There's also an Old World furnace in the back righthand corner, hiding a dumbwaiter elevator behind its furnace screen. We use this to get from floor to floor inside the dormhouse and also move luggage or groceries.
The common rooms also have tables with eight wooden chairs each, comfy sofas, big screen TV's and home entertainment centers, refridgerators, cabinets, dishwashers, microwave and/or oven, and a sink to wash your hands.
Hallway Rooms: OK, think of each wing having four rooms on both your left and right. Face the end of the corridors, and it'll make sense to you as we move from floor to floor.
Floor 1: West Wing has Rooms #1, 3, 5, and 7 on your left.
Floor 1: West Wing has Rooms #2, 4, 6, and the dorm's Laundry Room on your right.
Floor 1: East Wing has Rooms #8, 10, 12, and 14 on your right.
Floor 1: East Wing has Rooms #9, 11, 13, and the Floor 1 Bathrooms on your left.
Floor 2: West Wing has Rooms #15, 17, 19, and 21 on your left.
Floor 2: West Wing has Rooms #16, 18, 20, and 22 on your right.
Floor 2: East Wing has Rooms #23, 25, 27, and 29 on your right.
Floor 2: East Wing has Rooms #24, 26, 28, and the Floor 2 Bathrooms on your left.
Floor 3: West Wing has Rooms #30, 32, 34, and 36 on your left.
Floor 3: West Wing has Rooms #31, 33, 35, and 37 on your right.
Floor 3: East Wing has Rooms #38, 40, 42, and 44 on your right.
Floor 3: East Wing has Rooms #39, 41, 43, and the Floor 3 Bathrooms on your left.
Floor 4: West Wing has Rooms #45, 47, 49, and 51 on your left.
Floor 4: West Wing has Rooms #46, 48, 50, and 52 on your right.
Floor 4: East Wing has Rooms #53, 55, 57, and 59 on your right.
Floor 4: East Wing has Rooms #54, 56, 58, and the Floor 4 Bathrooms on your left.
When facing the Common Room, West Wings are to your right, and East wings to your left.
Hope this helps give everybody an overview of the dormhouse, where everything's located, and I sincerely hope to have this place filled up in no time flat!
Remember to ring the bell at the lobby's desk or leave a note with who you want your roommate(s) to be and what number room you want, and I'll accomodate you ASAP.
Have a great time!

Jacuzi? Uh, you must be mistaken. The jacuzis or hottubs are in the Senior Member Complex of Muppet Central. You need to have amassed 1000 posts or more in order to join up. There is, however, a swimming pool outside the dormhouse which is accessible by walking through the garden/patio located next to the dormhouse. The swimming poo's right behind the dormhouse and in clear view of the large bay windows of the common rooms.
Hope this helps and have a good day.
I'll take Gonzo and Room 59 - Da Penthouse !!! Full room descript to follow!

Was wondering when JFS would come back to the promised land. OK, I'll get you your key.
*Hands JFS the key to Room #33. Hmmm, we'll have to soundproof that room so as not to bother the other guests and so that you guys will be able to rock out whenever you want.
OK, Since Dr. Teeth and Floyd Pepper are in Room #33 with JFS, Rooms #31, 35, and 37 will be reserved for the other EM band members as they come in as other people's roommates.
Philo&Gunge, would you be willing to take one of those rooms? If not, then would you be willing to take either Room #30, 32, 34, or 36? LMK what you decide.
Oh, BTW, finally decided on keeping Mokey Fraggle and Lanford as my roomies down in Room #1. We both like to create and love our creations. She likes to paint and write poems, and I like to create my own characters and ideas for possible custom figures.
Will come back with a descript of our room in a little bit. Have a great time.

Hey, Aaron! Wasn't sure you'd come back. Course you can have your job as bellboy again. But you gotta tell us who you want as your roomie(s). And do you still want Room #24 next to the lobby desk?
Great to see you back here, and have a grand old time.

Uh, Homerthegreat, perhaps you missed out on my previous post. All Electric Mayhem members, and that includes Animal, are to bunk out in Rooms #31, 33, 35, and 37. #33's been taken by JaniceFerSure and Dr. Teeth and Floyd Pepper. So of #31, 35, or 37, which one do you want for yourself and Animal?
LMK and I'll get you your key ASAP.
Hope this helps and have a good day.

Hah, it's good to be back home at the dorms again.

You sure you wanna do that McFraggle? You don't think that Sam and Kermit will fight with each other? Oh well, you probably know what you're getting into.
*Hands Kermit key to Room #21. Here you go Mr. The Frog, you can have that room with McFraggle and Sam the Eagle.
PS: Good descript Homerthegreat. Now you just need to put it together and post it here. The carpet and bathroom aren't rully necessary, but if you want it as elements of your room it's your call.
Will probably post my room descript next. Have a good night.

Wow!
(Just to avoid confusion, I wrote up my layout picturing a typical hotel room.)
My room is painted white and the carpet has black numbers from 1 to 13
As you walk through the entrance of my room, you enter into a small hallway, leading into a bigger room. On the left of the hallway you will see a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Just outside of the bathroom is a bunch of hooks for coats and hats. On the right side of the hallway is a large mirror, and a small mat to put your shoes. As you pass through the small hallway, you enter a much larger room, with two beds along the left wall, facing the television on the right side. In two corners sit a furnce, and a trash can. The other corner is empty, and that's where the drums will go. There is a couch along the left wall, between the two beds. Against the northern wall is a counter with a sink and a microwave. To the left of the counter there is a stove and a fridge. On the right side of the counter there is a small table, on which atop sits a computer. Along the right wall, there is a wooden table with eight wooden chairs. Next to the table is the television, and next to the televison is a comfy blue recliner.

OK, here's the descript of the room shared by Mokey Fraggle and myself.
1 The outside of our room door shows off a big white number 1 in high relief. All room doors have their numbers like this, to help others find their rooms easier.
2 The wallpaper's split down the middle, featuring red radishes on the left half of the room and black bats on the right side of the room.
3 Our beds are separated just a little bit from the walls, so we can change the bedclothes with ease. Mokey's bed is on the left and features red radishes on the sheets, while mine features black bats and is on the right side of the room. We have gray pillowcases, for two pillows, and fluffy blankets folded and placed at the feet of our beds.
4 There's a small mat below the bed with our slippers, for when we're hanging out in the dorms.
5 There are two mahogany nightstands next to our beds. Mokey's has a case for her reading glasses, a watering can for Lanford, and her bookbag on the lower shelf of the stand. My nightstand stores my bookbag, cassette recording equipment inside the bookbag/suitcase, walking cane, and a small stand with a few PVC figurines I use as dream guardians.
6 There are a couple of secret compartment shelves built into the walls.
Mokey's has an eggplant-knob and she keeps radish bars inside her shelf.
Mine features a jack o'lantern knob, and I keep my Muppets VCD collection inside.
7 The next thing along the walls as we proceed inwards are the wardrobe closets and dresser drawers. Mokey's on the left features red radishes and purple plums as knobs, while mine on the left has bright orange jack o'lantern knobs. Mokey keeps her cloaks, hooded and plain, hanging inside her closet. The dresser drawer holds a framed picture of her and Red Fraggle, another pair of glasses, her hair comb, and radish amulets. Of course, she also keeps some additional clothes neatly folded in the drawers, along with her poem books and sketch pads. As for my closet, polo shirts and jeans are hung with care inside. The dresser holds my dark glasses, wallet, handkerchief, electric shaver kit, eyedrop bottle, home and room keys, baby shampoo bottle for washing my eyes when I bathe, and perfume bottle. Of course, I have additional clothes neatly folded in the drawers, along with some extra blank cassettes for taping my classes. We have our own deodorant also placed with our personal items on our dressers.
8 Now we move on to the backwall, which divides into left, center, and right.
Center: There's a solid and sturdy wooden dresser which houses the room's air conditioner or ICE unit below. The TV set stands above the frame's upper shelf, while the lower shelf supports a DVD/VCR machine, a VCD machine, and an Adelphia cable box on top of that.
Right: The portion of the rightside wall next to the closet has a computer center. The table has a fully-functioning computer with DSL connection to talk to you guys on the forums, JAWS For Windows programming and a pair of speakers allowing me to hear my computer's speech, and a printer for printing my class papers. There's also a comfy crimson red swivel chair parked at the computer table. The back right portion of the room features a walk-in closet, guarded by a numbered skull on the door. This is where I have the various shelving units for all my Muppet figures, both made by Palisades Toys and by special customizer crews.
Left: There's a wooden desk here, for Mokey to work on her projects or for her to help me with mine. The desk has a subdued blue wheeling chair, an inner surface which can be opened and propped up against the far left wall, a set of paintbrushes, a set of acrylic paints, and a block of sculpting material. There's also a window near this part of the room, which allows sunlight to enter or a quick escape for my bat messenger.
9 We both have a couple of pets living with us, which we take care of.
Mokey has her pet deathwart plant, Lanford, kept inside his pot on her nightstand or the desk.
I have my pet bat, Bella, who prefers to live inside a separate corner of my closet.
10 There's a wastebasket set up in the corner of the room, and a small bucket placed beneath my pet bat's sleeping quarters. Generally, I send her on errands around the dormhouse.
11 We have our own toothbrushes and towels, kept in the Floor 1 Bathrooms.
Mokey has a lavender toothbrush, marked by a small purple eggplant.
My toothbrush is a midnight blackened color, and features a white bat.
Mokey has a fluffy violet towel, featuring a white strip near the bottom.
This white stripe bears her name in purple lettering, along with a couple of eggplants.
My towel is a fluffy sand-colored towel, featuring a black bat logo on the center.
This black bat logo bears my initials in white, along with a ghostly white number 13.
Think that's all for our room...
Oh yeah, it's got a sand-colored tiled floor.
And one last thing I can't forget about. Below the work desk, there's a cavernous Fraggle-hole, which grants Mokey and other Fraggles passage into and out of our room. Hope this helps and have a great night.

Ok here goes. I might have to add a little more to it later as things come to me. But here's the start:
*When you walk in the door you are standing in a small entrance hall. The walls are a fresh clean white with turquoise colored tile on the floor. Directly in front of the door is a small turquoise mat to wipe your feet on. There is a small closet on your left for heavy coats and a shelf for board games. Heavy shoes like boots and galoshes go inside on the bottom. Next to the closet door is a turquoise and white tiled umbrella stand.
*On the left side of the entrance hall is a small white wooden table with a mirror over it. The table has a turquoise bowl on it to put keys in and a small silver tray to put the mail on.
*Once you are out of the entrance hall the room opens up into a large airy space that is divided into four sections. The area immediately in front is kind of the general living room area. The couch is turquoise as are the lamps that sit on two end tables at either end. There are two white chairs that sit catty corner the couch like this [ __ ]. The entertainment center is wooden painted white. Here you can find the TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, phonograph, and our extensive collection of movies and music. On either side of the entertainment center are large bookcases that hold a wide variety of fiction that I enjoy (even if Piggy doesn't understand the attraction).
*On the far right side of the room is my bed and desk with computer. This space is seperated from the rest of the room by a turquoise screen. The bedframe is a reddish wood with a bedspread that is done in dark blue, green, and purple. The desk is wood that is the same color as the headboard, this is where I do homework, even for the dreaded math classes. The desk is wide enough that I have room to be able to do my beadword on it and any of the other crafty thing I enjoy doing. The chair rolls and is comfortable cushioned in colors that match the bedspread. The desk sits in front of a large window with a sill where I can put my plants and has green cutains. In one corner is a music stand with my flute for practice time. There is a trunk at the foot of my bed (once again the reddish brown wood) that hold sweaters and blue jeans. A wardrobe sits opposite of the desk where I hang dresses and clothes that shoudln't get wrinkled. Roomy drawers are located at the bottom where shoes and pjs go. Smaller drawers above the bottom ones hold jewlery and some toiletries. A rag rug done in the color scheme is next to the bed and pictures that I love hang on the walls.
*Miss Piggy's room is seperated from the rest of the room by a white screen on the left. Needless to say her side of the room is done in pinks and purples. The bed itself is pink with a slightly darker shade of pink for the bedspread. There isn't really a desk because Piggy believes that there are better uses for her time (like snaging a certain frog we all know). Instead there is a vanity where a variety of beauty products and jewelry can be found (one of the reasons why I don't have much in my room. why bother when I can go borrow it from Piggy?), there are also many pictures of Kermit. And not just on the vanity, but on the walls too. The vanity is done in purple and pink with lots of drawers to help her be organized (like that's going to happen). There is a large plush pink rug and the walls to change to pink in her sleeping area. There is also a window for piggy but it's mostly covered by long gauzy curtains in various shades of pink and purple. There is a small purple table by the bed where she keeps her sleeping mask and ear plugs along with a very large picture of Kermit. There are some pig shaped lip markes on the glass but don't mention it to her. You could be stuck for hours listening about how wonderful Kermit is. There are also a few of Piggy's publicity shots hanging on the wall.
*Ok now go back out of Piggy's room and behind the couch is a sun room. Here the tile changes to a light tanish color, what isn't windows is painted a dark orange yellow. A maple table with 8 chairs around it is in the center. Along one side of the sun room (which is kind of like a breakfast nook) is a low table where food can be set and cabinets below to store nonperishables and cooking stuff and dishes. A refridgerator which looks just like the low table is on the opposite side of the room.
Well I think that's enough for now.

Are you kidding me? That's a great set-up FraggleRocks! Rivals the setup in the old dorms created by Pepe'sLostLuv, who was Miss Piggy's previous roommate. Heh, maybe if she comes back soon enough she can have Pepe as her roomie now.
Well, have a good weekend as we inaugurate the new dorms.

Oh, sorry Whatever, didn't notice Robin perched here on the desk. *Hands over key to Room #23 to Robin. Here you go Robin, the key to your room. Tell Whatever she can move in whenever she wants. Now for the real business at hand.

Room 58 seems pretty big.

Oh hi P&G. Yes, I wanted to see you. Well, there's no "largest" room, they're all pretty much equal in concept, until the boarders design the interior themselves. However... since you picked Clifford as one of your roomies, and since the third floor's West Wing is reserved for the Electric Mayhem... was wondering if you'd like either Room #30 or 36 for yourself and the trash heap servants.
LMK and I'll get you your key ASAP.
And we'll see if Aaron pops in and get you your luggage up to your room promptly after that.
OK boys, set that pipe organ up in the back wall of Floor 3's common room. Hey Kyle, as soon as we're finished here, I'll send the zombies to help you move.

Morning roomies. Hey HomertheGreat,we're next-door neighbors, howdy.I'm JaniceFerSure aka Diana,in room #33.We're all moved in. JFS's major is the same as last semester: sign-language with a minor in drama. Floyd's major is music appreciation with a minor in literature. Dr. Teeth's major is music appreciation with his minor in philosophy. All three are taking music & vocal classes too. Here is our room description. It's the same room as last semester,so we just cleaned it and made a few adjustments.
As you enter, there is a tv on a tv stand, along with PS2 and a VCR, plus video cabinet(filled with videos and dvds).A stereo system(with surround sound speakers in the rooms back ceiling corners) is next to the tv.A cd tower sits next to the right of the stereo. Our instruments(on stands) with adapters/amps are to the stereos right(and right corner),JFS tambourine is hanging up.A disco light is on the ceiling's center, interchangable with other club-type lights, when the mood permits.A bunk bed for Dr. Teeth and Floyd are against the far wall corner, budded up to the corner(Floyd on top bunk,Dr. T on bottom bunk).JFS futon to the back room center. There is a small refrig. in the corner, underneath our computer desk with a Compaq computer system, printer & computer chair. There is a dresser for Floyd's clothes(to right of closet,Dr. T & JFS use the closet).A trunk sits in front of JFS's futon(filled with extra pillows, blankets, decks of cards and board games:chess, backgammon, mah jong, scrabble). There are big pillows surrounding the trunk for dormates to sit down upon.A foosball table is in center left of room. The room colors are light blue, with white clouds & glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling. The wall's color is sandy yellow & the back of the door is tea green with a poster of It's a Mad,Mad,Mad,Mad World on it. There is a door hanger from Twillight Zone Tower of Terror hanging on the inside doorknob.
Dr. Teeth: Hey everyone,I'm glad to be back here again, rooming with my good buds JFS & my man Floyd P.
Floyd: Hiya roomies, happy to be once again in the dorms. Hey J,the room looks fab.Good job.
JFS: Thanks Floyd. We're gonna have a jamming good ole time.Glad you two made it back.Hiya Aaron, you we're truly missed around here! Hi again Whatever. Hi Kyle & his furry roomies! Welcome to the dorms FraggleRocks.

Actually, Count. I'd rather stay here on the top, I never do too much Eletric Mayhem work anymore.
Anyway, here's my room description:
I have a couch in front of a 25-inch television. Where I also have my duel-deck VCR and DVD player, to the left of the TV is my, Clifford, Philo and Gunge's DVD collections (remember that's Clifford's copy of "Pink Floyd: The Wall", I only watch the marching hammers) I keep my basic DVD's in my room, consisting of "The Muppets Take Manhattan", "Looney Tunes Golden Collection", "The Simpsons: Seasons 1-4", both Storyteller DVD's and all Walt Disney Treasures DVD's. We also have a coffie table with a dog bed under it, this is for Philo & Gunge to sleep on during the night. The kitchen will be very cartoon-y. The refrigerator is shaped like Daffy Duck, with the fridge being his smoatch. Also, I will have a cabinet filled with my Muppet and Looney Tunes tapes. My bed room will have a king-size bed, a bath tub/hot tub, a 15-inch TV, another VCR, a portable DVD player and me Muppet action figures above my bed. Clifford's room has his diector's chair, 15 pairs of sunglasses (you can't have enough sunglasses), a Mickey Mouse phone and a fountain. As for P&G, they are going to be in a cabinet below from the TV just to get privacy. We may move they dog bed down there. Clifford may also want to move the fountain out into the kitchen. Is this all right Count?

JFS: Thanks Floyd. We're gonna have a jamming good ole time.Glad you two made it back.Hiya Aaron, you we're truly missed around here! Hi again Whatever. Hi Kyle & his furry roomies! Welcome to the dorms FraggleRocks.
Nice room you got there Diana. *holler over to Ed* Oh thanks Count. Tell them I'll be over there in a min. to help them.
Ok since I haven't done my room here I go:
When you walk in there's a TV stand w/ satellite, VCR and PS2. Next to it is a Goofy Phone which rings and talks he wakes up talking and then goes back to sleep. You'll then see my CD and Video case (not all of the video are on there) After that you see my Other Video DVD case w/ lots and lots. On top of my Video DVD case I have my some of my Muppet Figures up w/ the PIS set (most of the rest is in a box on top as well) There's a love seat that folds into a bed (for any guest that come over) On to the other room:
Ok this is were the magic happens (Cookie eats cookies in here thats the magic they all seem to disappear) Ok Here's Cookies has a bed cover that has all sorts of cookie shapes, Then theres Herry who has a bed cover w/ a set of weights on his bed right now. Over by Cookie and Herry's lamp post light there's a Fraggle hole (You know what for)
Now lets go to mine and
Grover's room This way:
Ok My bed has a regurly dark blue cover ( I never sleep under my covers I sleep on top of my cover and then cover up w/ a sheet or blanket That me! On my bed right now is a Garfield plush. He's cute isn't he. *hugs him*
Grover's bed is right beside mine kind of like in Ernie and Bert's apartment he's covers has cute furry animals on them. On his side table he has his picture of his Mom's picture. He's a monster's mommy. Thats about it. I'll have to give you more info later.

You're right JFS a phone is a really good idea.
*Plugging in a turquoise phone with cute little white dots all over it in the living area. Also a pink phone with red lips on it goes into Piggy's room.
I'm not sure how I forgot to put this in last night but I also have a cat named Bundles. She sleeps in my bed with me at night and has two orange yellow food dishes in the breakfast nook. She is dark grey with black stripes, the tip of her tail, paws, and her throat are all white. She enjoys practicing her jumping and sometimes isn't very graceful and ends up knocking things over. She is extremly smart and seems to understand what you say to her.
Thanks for the warm welcome you guys! :)

Is it okay if we could come by for dinner tonight or vice versa? Just to celebrate getting into college. Oh, well. I might as well beat JFS to the singing punch.
Ahem.
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom

Hey teacher leave us kids alone

Heh, that sounds cool, the bat-phone. Will keep that one.
BTW: P&G, OK just let me know what numbered room you want up on Floor 4. Rooms #55 and 59 are taken, you can have your pick from 45-54, 56-58, just LMK and I'll get you your key.

Here's another good Wall song:
Momma loves her baby
And daddy loves you too.
And the sea may look warm to you babe
And the sky may look blue
But ooooh Baby
Ooooh baby blue
Oooooh babe.
If you should go skating
On the thin ice of modern life
Dragging behind you the silent reproach
Of a million tear-stained eyes
Don't be surprised when a crack in the ice
Appears under your feet.
You slip out of your depth and out of your mind
With your fear flowing out behind you
As you claw the thin ice.

*Preps another two sandwiches to go. Adds chicken and tomatoes and salad greens to the first sandwich.
OK, now what do I do for Animal's sandwich? Oh yeah, I know.
*Slaps pastrami and ham and bologna and other cold cuts.
Pick up #31! *Bats come to deliver the next order.
Ah, and now to kick back and enjoy my foot-long Seafood and Crab sandwich while watching YuYuHackusho and DragonballGT.
*After shows are ready, bats come back for one last run. OK, I need you guys to take these brownie ala mode dishes to the same rooms, and attach a note that this one's to be kept in the freezer.

You guys are lucky I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and check my messages.
1 Homerthegreat, yes, the brownies are chocolate chip brownies. But if you want them a la mode, you'll have to add the ice cream.
Then again, it looks like you found them already.
2 Regarding the register of who's already here, think I'll post that after more people come and join us here.
3 tutter_fan, you could always take Tutter from BITBBH as your roommate, or some other mouselike character. Check my Muppet Listings 12.0 for ideas or contact me for suggestions.
4 G-Man and Rizzo, welcome back guys. Uh, I'll give you a moment to make sure which room you want, either 10 or 56.

Hi guys, so what smells so good? Heh, must be JFS cooking up some waffles. Mokey asked if she could have some with nutty peanut butter, and I'd like a few of the same myself.
So, you guys liked the subs and brownies eh? Good.
Hmmm, a piano for Room #24. Well, guess it's only natural though I'm surprised Aaron didn't include one in his room design. LMK and I'll call the zombie movers ASAP.
Hey Robin, you rully think the garden needs watering? Cause Mokey was working there yesterday getting everything back in shape after the storms.
Oh well, it's gonna be a good day hopefully.
BTW: JFS, there's a good SS book of sign language I bought once. It's got cartoon drawings of the SS gang in different activities and Linda in little squares at the bottom of the pages making the signs for different words. And the inside covers on both ends of the hardcover book are pictures of her signing the alphabet and numbers up to 10.

2 Well, Robin, if it's not too late, maybe Mokey will let you help her with the night-blooming plants and catch as many dragonflies as you want. But you might have to share with Lanford and the bats.
3 Aaron and Rowlf, the zombies should be here in an hour with that piano. They just finished laying the Pittsburgh steeltown worker inside Tomb 2 in the Ravens graveyard.
4 You guys are starting to make me feel a little bit guilty about neglecting my research/judicial essay as well. But I got a plan and will talk to the professor on Thursday about getting started on where to search for the evidenciary facts to start up the project.
5 G-Man and Rizzo, Gonzo's in Room #59; Clifford's in Room #58. Do you guys still want #56? LMK and I'll get you the key quickly.
6 Tutter_Fan, Bear hasn't been taken as a roommate, and is therefore available to be yours if you so choose. But, as JFS said, please LMK what numbered room you want from those still vacant so I can get you your room key quickly as well.

Luke :- Thanks Count, Sorry me and Gonzo are late. Gonzo was doing a stunt on his motorbike jumping over 50 chickens and crashed. He had to have his leg put in plaster at the hospital
Gonzo :- Yeah it was a near fatal a-traction!!
Luke :- Can someone help Gonzo up to the penthouse? We can take an arm and a leg each.
Ok heres the room descript for room 59 - the Penthouse
The atmosphere is very cool and laid back. There's always some mood music on. We've got blinds over the windows and everything is very clean. The mini kitchen is stainless steal with all the mod cons - Gonzo likes to throw himself into the garbabe disposal every now and then. In the living room there are framed posters from all the Muppet Movies and a plasma screen/DVD. There's a popcorn machine and a glass cabinet of Palisades action figures. The sofa and chairs are black leather. There is a fish tank built into the wall with pirahnas and goldfish in (Gonzo likes watching the pirhanas chase the goldfish). There's a PS2 and Xbox as well as some retro consoles. Anyones welcome to come in anytime and play with the stuff - especially any chicks (for Gonzo, thats quite literally 'chicks') The bedroom is pretty much the same kinda look but Gonzo has an evil kenievil poster up and i have three - one is Britney spears, the other ALF and the last one an aquatic scene featuring skating penguins. We've got a computer in the corner with the internet. a walk in wardrobe holds our clothes. We sleep in bunks. I have bottom, Gonzo has top, and there's a hammock for Rizzo when he comes to stay the night. There is a bookcase - Gonzo has lots of books on how to do stunts and hypnotize chickens. We have a paper delivered every morning (well, someone throws it through the window) - for Gonzo he reads "Poultry News" and i take a "USA Today".

FR: Well I'm back. I had fun, although it was harder this week. Alltogether I think I enjoyed the waltz the most. Maybe that's because I got partners who knew what they were doing in the waltz. I'm not sure. But for the cha cha...well...it was interesting that's for sure. It helps when you are dancing with a guy who kinda knows what he's doing and isn't going to do anything unexpected.

Well, I sure hope everyone's settled in here at the dorms. The zombies finally brought Rowlf's piano and installed it in their room, wonder if there's anything else Aaron wants for his room design/descript.
Anyway, for dinner, ah... since my team won and I'm feelin' good...
Eastern European dinner.
Ghoulash with beef chunks for a first course. Ogre burgers with saurkraut and cabbage and tomatoes, with French fried potatoes as an entree. The potatoes have been cooked with garlic. Garlic bread to dip in the ghoulash. Some pork... uh no, scratch that, they're veal chops in blood sauce as a second entree option. Bat's Claw cole slaw for our salad eaters. And finally, Bavarian chocolate cake or Black Forest mousse for our gore-met dying pleasure.

This is a fun game!
Anyways, here's my description of my room (I'm not sure how I'll do Bear's room though!)
When you enter the main room, almost everything in the room is clock or watch related! I have grandfather clocks, novelty clocks, wall clocks, alarm clocks, etc!
I own a top of the line kitchen (Not sure how to describe the kitchen, either!)
I have in the living room a Plasma TV from Sony, DVD Recoder from Panasonic, a DVR from Tivo (Almost unlimited recording time, hehehehehehehe), A PS2, and a lot of games for the PS2!
My Bedroom is Themed on (I have to use this phrase! I love it! BTW I edited it just to match the game show name!) "THE GREATEST GAMESHOW ON EARTH" where anyone could be summoned upon to "COME ON DOWN", THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!!!!!! The bathroom, I will leave as is!

Hey Tutter_Fan, glad to see you participating here in the dorms. Just remember that you and Bear share the same dorm room. So, if it's easier for you, design half the room according to your tastes and the other half according to his.
A word of warning thoughh... be careful with those plasma screen TV's, I've heard that they have a tendency of burning out at inopportune times.
*Yawns briefly. Anyway, think I'll leave some food made if anyone wants an early breakfast, and then head back to the bed in my room.
*Says hi to FR. Good morning, want some eggs for breakfast? Gonna make that dish I mentioned last night. Basically... it's bits of chopped liver, kidney, and circular slices of smoked sausage all smothered in a runny egg omelette. It was delicious when I had it at the restaurant a few years ago, and I think my bats can help in making it just right.
Well, LMK and I'll whip up some extras for others. If not, then there's some cereal and I think some waffles left from yesterday.
Hope you do well on your real math test and have a good day.

FR: The eggs sound great Count. Thanks. Don't worry about something to drink because I've already made myself a big pot of Lady Grey tea. I hope the caffine will help wake me up. If you'd like you can have some too. I have sugar, cream, milk, and lemon for those who want it.

Sure we would like Room #56
Here is our description, it looks like an ordinary hotel room, but much nicer, with a big double bed for me and a dresser next to it, Rizzo's room is inside a mouse hole with a custom-made awning with the words Chez Rizzo on it and a red carpet leanining in, looking inside you can see that he lives like a rat (duh), a recliner, pop cans and snack bags all over the floor and a really noisy tv. My part of the dorm room is much nicer, especially in the living area where there is a whole display thing for my figures (including the ones that I just won on EBay) against one wall, against the wall lewading into my bedroom is a book shelf or two filled with all of my Stephen king books and DVDs and Videos of movies that I like, against the opposite wall is a Big Screen TV with Dish Network Satelite, a stereo system, and a DVD/VHS/Video Game Player. In my room there's also a TV with just DVD Player and a computer hooked up to AOL so I can keep up not just on my studies, but on the happenings here too.

*Wakes up and looks around their dorm room.*
Well, THAT'S what happens when you watch an all night marathon of Laurel and Hardy films!!
*Throws rubber chicken at Fozzie*
Wake up!
FOZ: I'm up! I'm UP! (puts head on pillow) oops--I'm down...
---------------
Looking around there are posters of classic comedies and comedians, autographed photos, and a dart board on the wall. The darts are made out of regular darts covered with little rubber chickens (made from those keyrings).
The beds are laid out against one wall foot-to-foot, the headboards against opposite walls. In the center there is a chest of drawers (3 drawers each) and a mini-fridge on top of that for banana cream pies and cool whip, not to mention root beer. Next to Fozzie's bed is a little book shelf with jokebooks and comic books, on the other side of that the door. Next to my bed is a small file cabinet with art supplies, files, comics, and on top of that is a lamp and a few books. Behind that is the window.
The room isn't very large at all, so about 4 feet from the beds on the opposite wall are two desks, and on either side of that closets for clothes. The desks are some we brought in which mine is for drawing on or writing on, and I have installed some shelves over that for books and art supplies; Fozzie's desk is a regular desk like you'd have in your bedroom. there are already book shelves attached to that. Our little TV has a vcr and DVD player installed in it at the factory, and that sits on another file cabinet full of Fozzie's different odds-n-ends between the two desks.
Under our beds are our trunks and other items we may need, including little plastic tubs for our toiletries.

Hello everyone! It is great to be back for another semester at Muppet University. Dr. Teeth, Lips, and I have decided not to room together this semester - because their musical habits interfered with my studying and sleeping habits.
If he is still looking for a roommate, I would like to live with Telly Monster. It does not matter which room we are in, just one that passes Telly's safety test. According to Telly, you can never be too careful...

Hi Jimmy, glad to see you here abouts again. You know, Zoot's still looking for a roommate, and he has this uncanny knack of snoozing and choosing to play his sax when he's awake, which is mostly during gigs. But if you prefer Telly Monster, then yes he's available for roommate status as well. Please choose a room number of the ones still vacant, can't give you a key till you choose a room. Till then, feel free to bunk out in the lobby or the common room and help yourselves to some dinner. There are plenty of leftovers. Just LMK when you've chosen a room and what number it is, and I'll come and get you guys.

JFS: Welcome to the dorms FnJfan & Telly. Can't wait to see if Telly added some triangles to his collection over the summer. Hey Animal, anytime we're all free to practice together let us know,ok? *watching Chicago*.
Floyd: Well,I just turned in another paper,I'm ready to relax. *plays Don't Let It Bring You Down on his bass guitar*

Yeah, interested in how FNJFan and Telly design their room. And if Telly added to his collection over the summer, in a way similar to us adding to our Palisades figure collections too.
SmallVille got off to an OK start, but it makes me think they're gonna have another convaluted season. And I'm waiting for Charmed Season 7 to get better also.
Oh well, at least my photos are finished and all that's left is to save them on a master CD folder. Might do that, and start my investigative research tomorrow.

Heh, still got a small grudge against Celebrity Millionaire 2. This is the week-long special edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire with celebrity stars winning money for charities. Well, on Day 2, John Stewart from the Daily Show was finishing his turn, and he brought as his special friend... Kermit!
Yes, Kermit was actually there helping out the stars. Well, my gripe comes from one of the questions they asked Charlie Sheen. Regis was surprised himself when they got the question up on the prompter.
Q: "In the Muppet Movie, where did Kermit and his friends end up at after leaving the swamps in Georgia?"
Answers were: A. Hollywood, B. New York City, C. Los Angeles, D. Washington DC.
The thing is, that was a trick question, cause Kermit never left the swamps of Georgia. His home was in the Everglades swamplands of Florida, and he left them en route to Hollywood. But he never left Georgia, cause he never lived there.
Well, think I'll crank up the ICE and chill after letting off some steam. Hey JFS, your popsicles are in the fridge for when you want 'em.

Jimmy: Hello everyone! Sorry that Telly and I just took our room keys and then disappeared for a few days - we both had prelims (they are like midterms, except that there are two of them in a semester instead of just one :grouchy: ) We have done almost nothing but study since we have moved in. I had a test in Film Analysis and in Marketing, and Telly had an exam in his Pythagorean Theory class (he wants to learn as much about triangles as possible!)
Anyway, since we have been so busy with our studies, our room is a complete disaster! We have boxes stacked everywhere - we can barely walk in here. Between Telly's tuba, collection of triangles, Chuckie Sue (Telly's pet hamster), all of our books, and my Muppet merchandise there is hardly any room for us. Don't worry though, as soon as we unpack we will be able to get rid of all of these boxes and there will be plenty of room for both of us.
Telly: Jimmy, we need to leave now!
Jimmy: Oh, that is right, I almost forgot. Telly and I have a Grouchkateer meeting to attend.
Telly: We better hurry up! If we are late, that would make the other grouches very angry, and they may yell at us!
Jimmy: But grouches like being angry and yelling, Telly. So they would really be happy!
Telly: But they dont like being happy, which means that they will be angry, which means they will be happy which means... Oh dear! I am so confused! This is a catastrophe!
Jimmy: Calm down, Telly. Everything is going to be fine. We will just leave for the meeting now.
I will talk to all of you at the dorm later. If you would like, you can come with Telly and I to the Grouchkateer meeting with Telly and I, but if not, then feel free to stop by our room sometime later tonight. We should be around - we have a lot of unpacking to do... It sure feels good to be back on campus. Bye everyone!

Any ideas on your room design, just let us know and we'll help. Oh yeah, might send a couple of feather dusters later to clean up your room if you need 'em.
Hmm, think I'll leave JFS a note.
*Pins note onto #33's door.
Hey JFS, what version of Alice In Wonderland was Floyd talking about? The best one I've seen is the live action TV movie they showed on Disney chock-full of celebrities like Jonathan Winters as Humpty Dumpty and Sammy Davis Jr. as the Blue Caterpillar.
Well, talk to you later. Have a good time in the dorms.

JFS: Hey Count, got your note. The version of Alice is at the end of the 1972 British musical movie. It includes Fiona Fullerton(Alice),Michael Crawford(White Rabbit),Dudley Moore(Door Mouse),Peter Sellers(March Hare),Sir Ralph Richardson(Caterpillar),Spike Milligan(Gryphon),etc... Was one of my favorite movies as a child.Sung by Alice at the end of the movie, after the picnic is over(when she awakens from her dream):
The me,I never knew, began to stir sometime this morning.
The me,I never knew, appeared without a word of warning.
You smiled, and you uncovered, what I had much discovered.
You wait, you'll see the me,I never knew.
The me,I never knew, has learned to love & loves the feeling.
The me,I never knew, can see the world,I've been concealing.
Today,a new song's playing,the words,a simple saying.
From now,I'll be the me,I never knew,
From now,I'll be the me,I never knew.

Thanks for the info JFS. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland have, are, and will always be my #1 favorite all-time story. The Hallmark version from a few years back was a horrible mistake. The only good part was Cristopher Lloyd as the White Knight. But I did have the good fortune of seeing the other version I mentioned when I still had good sight. And this version was about 90% accurate and faithful to both stories. Here's the cast, at least what I remember.
Alice: Natalie Gregor, or was it Natalie Gregory, not sure.
The White Rabbit: Dick Buttons.
The Rat: Sherman Helmsley.
Pat the Pig: Scott Baio.
The Lory Bird: Shelley Winters.
The Piper Bird: Lori Piper.
Don't remember who played the Dodo nor Bill the Lizard, but they were there.
Don't remember who played the Cook nor the Dutchess, but they were there.
The Cheshire Cat: Telly Savalas.
The Blue Caterpillar: Sammy Davis Jr.
The Mad Hatter: Red Skelton.
The March Hare: Roddy Macdowell.
The Dormouse: Arte Johnson.
The Queen of Hearts: Ann Jillian, not completely sure.
The Griffin: Sid Caesar.
The Mockturtle: Ringo Starr.
Alice then enters a mirror version of her home after waking up at the end of Part 1, and we get a smooth transition to Part 2 in Looking Glass Land.
She does sit down and read the poem of the Jabberwock, which is then summoned and takes flight.
The Owl: Jack Ward, seen in a portrait in Alice's mirrored home.
The Talking Flowers included Sally Struthers as the Carnation and two others as the Tiger Lily and the Rose, which I don't remember.
There were four actresses portraying the roles of the Oysters, but their names weren't given at the beginning of the TV movie.
Tweedledee: Edie Gourmet.
Tweedledum: Steve Lawrence.
The Unicorn: Don't remember.
The White Knight: Lloyd Bridges.
The Sheep: Animatronic puppet, the White Queen's transformation was very well done after her song of Jam Tomorrow.
The Old Man: Don't think he showed up with the oysters.
Hatta: John Stamos.
Haya: Don't think that character showed up.
The Lion: Don't remember.
The Walrus: Karl Malden.
The Carpenter: Louis Nye.
The Crow: Animatronic puppet.
The Red Knight: Wasn't mentioned.
The Frog: Animatronic puppet.
Red King wasn't mentioned, and I'm not sure if Jillian Anderson was the Red Queen.
White King wasn't mentioned or I don't remember, and White Queen was Carol Channing.
Hope this helps and you get a chance to watch this one.

I dont have any shirts to offer you - I guess just come to this meeting in your normal clothing (maybe roll around in the mud before you come so you fit in a bit more)
At the meeting, you can tell the grouches that you want to become full-fledged members. If you tell them what shirt size you want, they will get you a shirt that is one size too small (because that is what grouches do). remember that when ordering your official uniforms.
See you four at the meeting!

Some characters I don't know are the "Black Cat" and the "Queen of Diamonds". Who were these? Any help will be appreciated.
From what I remember of the production, I rully liked the way the Oysters, Queen of Hearts and Red Queen all looked. Might ask for some help after finishing up Numborg #79, when I move on to Numborg #80.
Well, gotta wait for the cable guys to get here and fix my Adelphia box, so have a good time in the dorms.

Hey Kyle, just what dino is Trent's Draga Zord based on?
OK, might tune in to Supergold tonight since CN won't have the regular fare on Toonami. Also hoping for my assistant to help with the figure photos, but that's rully a longshot at this point.
Well, have a good time in the dorms.
