JFS: Finally finished my book late last night, woke up with a sore throat,oh bother.I made myself some tea,if anyone needs me,I'll be in our room;so's to not get anyone else sick. Welcome to the dorms Count von Count<bowing>.I shall be looking forward to seeing you, when you get settled in your room(and when I'm better).Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Floyd: Hey J,here's the throat drops that you wanted.

J: Thanks Floyd.You're a real pal.

Sorry to hear about your sore throat, Dee. I'm suffering one myself this morning. If you like, I could bring you some hot green tea. That's what soothes me.

Thank you dear ladies. Now then, if only we could get the castle in order along with all the castle-dwelling creatures. There's something that just makes me build my character-creating projects up and then just tear the whole thing down again. Guess I just have to make up my mind to go forward with what I've got. And I might just do that since there's a storyline I have in mind.
Count: "Yes, and we must remember to get the numbers polished so that each creature can have their own, so as to be counted up properly."
Agreed my fiend, just hope the rest of you guys have a good night.

Hey Herry, if we need to do any shopping at Wal-Mart, we'll be sure to go to the one you're workin' at buddy.

JFS: Have a safe trip Radioboy. Yeah,I could sure use some tea if you have some,Mokey and Ryan, that'll be great.Sorry to hear you've been under the weather too Ryan, bummer. I just made a quick dash to the store this morning,to get some more Puffs & some soup.I can take being sick in the: chest, throat, ears;but never in the nose, drives me bonkers.I should hopefully be well by the end of the week. Thanks all for the concern.

<Floyd>:sing:
Stay awake, don't rest your head
Don't lie down upon your bed
While the moon drifts in the skies
Stay awake, don't close your eyes

Though the world is fast asleep
Though your pillow's soft and deep
You're not sleepy as you seem
Stay awake, don't nod and dream
Stay awake, don't nod and dream

I'll be playing Prairie Dawn & myself .Prairie & I are alike because she is kind & patient and (not to pat myself on the back) but so am I :)
So here we go:
PD(carrying a backpack on her shoulders):Wow! I'm so excited about starting here,aren't you,Kathy?
Me:Yep...sure am! :)
PD:I'm glad we decided to become room mates.I like having fun,but I need to study too.
Me: I know. This college is a good one. They stress that you can have fun but work, too. So we're safe in both areas.

Uh, "Yep" to what RadioBoy? You want to leave the dorms altogether? Or do you want us to keep your room for you? LMK and we'll take care of it.
Ah, it's great to see a new friend here at the dorms. Hello Kathy and Prairie Dawn. Unfortunately, Room #5's been taken by Vic Romano and Bert and Ernie. However, if you still want a room in the West Wing of Floor 1, Rooms #3 and #6 are still available. If not, LMK what numbered room you want and I'll help you out as best possible.
Have a great day, hoping for some better weather around these parts myself.

OK then, #6 it is for PD and Kathy.
*Takes key hanging from its peg next to the marble 6 from the lobby's desk's backwall. Fright this way. Since you have some heavy luggage, you can leave it here at the lobby's desk, our bats will take them down later.

*Leads Kathy and PD through the double doors to the common room on Floor 2.
Gonna go downstairs by means of the dumbwaiter elevator, there's one in each furnace on every floor here at the dormhouse.
*All enter and exit as the dumbwaiter elevator takes them on their way. OK, now that we're at Floor 1 we just need to take a left after getting out of the common room. You might notice the carpet on this floor's common room has been dotted with little cute yellow Rubber Duckies on its print.
Now then, it should be... ah yes, third door down on our right. *Stops at door to Room #6 and hands key to PD and Kathy.
OK, here you are, hope you have a good time. Your next door neighbors on your right are Fozzie Bear (Kevin, MC) and Fozzie Bear from TMS. The Laundry Room's on your left, and Vic Romano and Bert and Ernie are in the room across from yours. Room #1, shared by the Count von Count and myself, is the first one on your left in this corridor. Knock or leave a note there or at the lobby desk if you need anything.
Our bats should be here soon with your luggage, just hope they do a good job like always.
Remember to post a descript of what your room would look like as soon as you're both settled in, and have a great time here at the dorms!

I'll let you in on the joke. See Docnzhos or Ryan as we know him around these parts had himself a couple of mint Oreos back in November. Link Hogthrob from TMS, his roommate, had some also and they've just woken up now in January.

Glad I could help. Well, it's a bit somber, at least it is for me and a few others around the dorms tonight. The thing is that the bathtubs in the bathroom at BethC's apartment, the exclusive Senior Members hottub complex, and the open air dorms pool have all been closed down. A few overzealous posters wanting to have their own piece of the pie made some extraneous threads, I believe to know who reported them to Dean Chapman, and now those areas have been cornered off as off-limits to all. Don't think I'll even post there for fear of getting some sort of warning from Dean Chapman, but it's a crushing blow to not only have the extraneous threads deleted, but to have our precious tubs shut down as well.

At least we can still access the dorms pool area through the dormhouse's corridor, the one connecting the main dormhouse to the pool area by a bridged/roofed walkway. And the shame of it all is that our lodgings in the Senior Members hottub complex and the vonderful bathrobes I made are all now locked up. Hmmm, what to do now I wonder. Oh well, life goes on, just hope the dorms are still left standing in the morning.

Hi Kathy, gonna get to sleep soon. But to answer your question... yes, we can still access the dorm pools by means of the bridged/roofed walkway, and just open the door to the pool area. We won't have a separate thread here at the forums to have fun at the pools, but at least we can go therre from time to time if we want since it's part of the dormhouse.

Hope everyone sleeps well tonight.

Not if Dr. Bob makes a cameo appearance.

Anyway, I sure hope you guys will feel better by the weekend. Well, my photo spread's almost complete. All that's left is for my helper to shoot the pic of the Backstage crammed with Muppet figures, and then it's off to get the updated full collection back in order. Of course the Modern Gonzo and chickens are left, but they'll get here soon and will then be photographed. At least I got something to keep me going while starting off another semester at Law School this week.
Have a great time at the dorms.

Thanks Kathy. The thing is that I'm taking pics of my figure collection for two purposes: to have a fully documented album of my entire collection with some added action shots, and to make a complete Palisades Toys Muppets action figure product guide.
As for the Swedish Chef, I thought he'd be upstairs at the housewarming party to be thrown by UD and Pepe, but they haven't said anything about when or at what time that party will be.
If you're hungry, might I suggest placing an order at one of the local campus restaurants? Then again, you can probably fix something thanks to the food stored in the common room's fridge and make use of the appliances therein. Just clean up after you're done if you decide to make your own dinner, wouldn't want Rizzo nosing through the leftovers and instantly swiping them for himself.

Mashed potatoes and corn with some pieces of beef filet. My mom is such a wonderous cook, good thing I get her cooking sent to us here at the dorms, at least whatever's leftover.

Count: "BTW, are you OK with the three little critters we have so far?"
Yes, I think they're OK and will definitely help towards reopening the castle.

*Bats grab the tin with the sliced pie, along with some paper plates and small spoons for the gang upstairs.
*Bats find Kathy and PD and wait for them to take the things.
Hope you guys like the pie, the slices we already had of a second pie were very good.

Hey Kathy, not sure what's happening with that card. Als I know is that I got a "Thank You" message from MC stating that the card had indeed been sent. Oh well, guess it'll pop up sometime. In case you don't find it, just wanted to wish you a good and safe trip when you go cruisin' next week.

(Sweating mildly)

Me: Just gave the room a good cleaning. Somehow Link and I had about 47 packages of Mint Oreos in various places in our rooms. We think perhaps someone was playing a prank on us.

Link: Throwing away 47 packages of mint Oreos made this the saddest day of my life.

Me: Don't worry, Linky ol' buddy...I went out and bought (dramatic pause) Classic O-R-E-O Nabisco *ding*!

Link: (Excited gasp) And the milk?

Me: Three 1-gallon jugs right here!

Link: Gotta go!

Me: If anyone wants Oreos and milk, we think you know where to find us. And not to worry, these are old-fashioned goodness, not those scary mint things.

Mokey: Linc and Doc have cookies. *hint hint*

Me: They've got the scary cookies Moke.

Mokey: They got rid of those, it's all good cookies now. Something called an OREO?

*Mup graps Mokey's hand and down the hall they go, hitting the dumbwaiter at a run*

Mokey: You remind me of Red from time to time. She too is always in a hurry to get somewhere or do something.

Me: These are classic OREOS with milk. And I don't know if you know this Moke, but Link is a .... Pig.

Me: Don't worry Link, there's plenty more where those came from. Besides, eat too many of those things and you'll get cavities.

Hey guys, the Count and me are here at the campus, in our respective cubicles at the Law School's library. Oy vey, I just want to get back home and put this day behind me. Here's the deal. Thought today was the first day of classes here. Secondly, thought I had till today to go to the bank and sign the payment from the office that pays for my matriculation fees there. Well, the bad joke is that I can't drop off the payment there, I have to go to the Sports Complex and sign over the payment there by tomorrow afternoon. Furthermore, my classes don't start till next Wednesday night when I have a class at 6:00 PM local time.

Oh man, I just want to get back home and relax with my Muppet figure collection and TV shows. On the bright side, at least most of those errands are now done, just gotta take care of some with our books and homebound cleaning-up stuff.
The Count von Count has 9 credits; he'll be taking European History, Demonoloogy, and Mathematical Accounting. As for me, I've got Evidenciary Law, Constitutional History, and Comparative Law for another 9 creds too.
Well, I'll be looking forward to that rest back at the dorms. Hope everyone else is doing fine today.

I can make the gray sky blue.
And I can make it rain, whenever I want it to.
And I can build a castle out of a single grain of sand.
And I can make a ship sail on dry land.
But honey, my life is incomplete and oh so blue.
Cause I can't get next to you girl, can't get next to you.

I can fly like a bird in the sky.
And I can buy anything that money can't buy.
And I can turn a river into a raging fire.
And I can live forever, if I so desire.
But with all of these things I can do.
I still can't get next to you babe, can't get next to you.
*Cymbals start striking.
Take it home, take it home.
Take it home-home-home.
I can turn back the hands of time, you better believe I can.
And I can make the seasons change just by waving my hand.
Oh, I can turn anything from old to new.
But the thing I wanna do most, I'm unable to do.
Honey, with all of these powers I possess.
You're still the key to my happiness.

Cause I...
Can't get next to you.
Girl, you're blowing my mind.
Cause I can't get next to you.
Can't you see these tears I'm crying.
Gotta get, next to you.

Are Garfield, Odie, Nermal & Arlene still in the dorms? Last I saw them, they were at Miss Piggy's holiday soiree. I wasn't sure if you brought them back here,JFS. (I thought some said you were keeping an eye on them) or if they're back with their owner Jon Arbuckle.
(If Garfield's still here, he must be in the canteen driving the Swedish Chef crazy!) :)

The only ones Kyle's takin' care of now are his roomies, those three furry and blue Monsters we all know.
Gonna hit the sack, will work on the display tomorrow. Hope to see you guys and gals at the pizza party tomorrow.

Hi guys, doing some remodeling in here ourselves as well. We moved the schoolbooks and Muppet reference books down to the lower shelves. The racks with my VCD collection of Muppet episodes and specials have been stored in the secret panel along the wall next to my bed. The figures are next. Already started with the lower shelf, the one that holds my Steppin' Out figures, the News team and variants, and a few others like Beauregard and Marvin Suggs and Pops. The center's left open for the campsite, which'll have Animal 2, FS Robin, Indiana Frog and Jim himself.
Looking forward to the party later today.

So, I guess we're late for the party? Kept working with the figures, still not finished with that lower shelf. The main prob was Black Tux Gonzo and his album and rubber tire. Tried to put them under and over the same arm, but they just wouldn't stay. So I just put them on different arms and that worked like a charm. Then there was the whole spacing issue I thought might work with Sweetums added to the group. He'll be placed next to the backstage playset, didn't work out after all. Still need some help to finish that shelf and then move on to the other two shelves full of figures.

Well, hope everyone had a good night.
Kathy, hope you have a lovely time on your cruise this coming week.
JFS, don't believe there's a need for a separate thread, we can just keep using this one.
Prairie, if you have any leftover pizzas, send them our way we'll probably have them for lunch tomorrow.
Again, sorry for missing out on the party and sweet dreams to all.

That sounds like a good plan. We'll probably end up having the pizzas for our meals today, you never know when someone will want a slice to quell that ever-gnawing hunger. And if you like, we can toast your sendoff tomorrow afternoon with some freshly-grilled bat burgers and fries. Or regular burgers for those who prefer the classics. LMK what your plans are, and we'll see about having the lunch at an hour that'll give you enough time to get to the boat without missing your cruise.

Good morning everyone! Glad to see you all up and about today! Hey Dee, good to see you! Link and I are doing fine...we did some reminiscing last night by watching the John Cleese episode of TMS. We had watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life a few days earlier and thought another round of Cleese would do us good.

Link: Plus, I like the sketch I did with him where he played a pirate.

I just knew I was going to wake up with a nasty fever. I had chills but was burning up at the same time. Hi Count,I've been a huge Robin Williams fan, ever since Mork and Mindy. At the tribute,Robin was very humbled;as he and his fellow audience members watched his movie/tv clips(such as Mork and Mindy,Good Will Hunting,Mrs. Doubtfire,Insomnia,Hook,Popeye).Pierce Brosnan was one of the presenters(was in Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin).Robin's wife Marsha & children(now young adults)were with him.I wish Garden State would've been recognized at the award show too. There weren't that many surprises to me.I just heard that The Aviator received mixed reviews, and that won a few awards, very interesting.I've always looked at the Golden Globes as the runner up awards to the Oscars.:smirk:

Robin Williams is cool. The most prominant image I get right now is his getup in Death to Smoochy.

As for John Cleese, I love that guy. He's the main reason I own Rat Race on DVD. I'd have to say that his most memorable performance was his cameo in The Great Muppet Caper.

I'm not usually into award shows. I can't stand all the broohaha over who's wearing what and all the gossip. I watch the Oscars when Billy Crystal or Steve Martin host because those guys are hilarious. Plus, the stars are usually at their best and often say off the wall stuff in their acceptance speeches. I would like to see Ray before I watch the Oscars just to see if Jamie Foxx is as good as everyone says. I would love it if Jim Carrey won for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...strange movie but excellent performances all around.
Here's who I would like to see win the big ones:
Best Actor: Jim Carrey-ESotSM
Best Actress: Kate Winslet-ESotSM
Best Supporting Actor: Morgan Freeman-Million Dollar Baby
Best Supporting Actress: Natalie Portman-Closer
Best Director: Clint Eastwood-Million Dollar Baby
Best Picture: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

As far as Robin images, for some reason Toys always pops up first, then Garp(his early works). <had to think for a second about TGMC cameo> When John is at the dinner table eating, and Miss Piggy is crawling up the wall of the house(laughing).I used to be into the broo-ha of award shows too,now I mostly watch them to see if my picks matched the winners & to see clips of the movies. Here's my pick for Oscar's:

-Picture: ESOTSM/Sideways/Million Dollar Baby(I initially choose Garden State or ESOTSM,but don't think they will win,we'll see)
-Director-Clint Eastwood(I would like to see Zach Braff nominated for this too)
-Actor: Jamie Foxx(would like Zach Braff or Paul Giamatti too)
-Actress: Hilary Swank(Kate Winslet for ESOTSM and Robin Wright Penn for Home at the End of the World should get a looksy)
-Supporting Actor: Morgan Freeman(Million Dollar Baby)(Clive Owen did very well too in Closer)
-Supporting Actress: Natalie Portman(Closer)
-Foreign film: Motorcycle Diaries
-Screenplay: Sideways
-Costumes: House of Flying Daggers or Phantom of the Opera

I forgot about Paul Giamatti. Even if he were to be nominated, it would be huge for him. I really like his work and it would be nice for him to get some recognition. Clive Owen is probably the favorite to win BSA considering his GG win. Morgan Freeman is just too cool and too classy not to win though. So many memorable roles...

But this isn't the movie thread! (Adam Sandler impression: Back to school, back to school...) Hey Link, how'd you end up with Interpretive Mirror Glancing?

How cool would that be? If you find such a forum, please let me know. Not that I need something else to keep my attention from my schooling. I will probably kick myself at some point this year for deciding to get into the Master's Program. I should have just stuck with my status as starving artist (or poet, if you will) and taken up lottery winning. You had a 3.0 in high school and college, eh Dee? That's impressive. I think I had a 2.75 in high school and an atrocious 2.25 in community college. I didn't start doing well until I finally enrolled at a university I respected. Ended up with a 3.25 or something. Thanks for all the encouragement...I'll start saving it up in a bottle now so I can unleash it when the going gets really tough.

Just a few quick thoughts, running to catch my Monday Night ritual on TV.
1 How much was it to get in here? Free huh? Well, you're gonna get your money's worth.
2 Death to Smoochie wasn't that great a movie. If the tile says Death to Smoochie, then I expect death to be given to Smoochie! And they even got the date of Sesame Street's premiere wrong. Stupids Ed Norton.
No, I take that back before I get some flame posts here.
3 Toys is a much better film, heck I remember the trailer Robin did imitating other movie characters. Haven't seen all his movies but I've seen my fair share of them.

Dee: *walking in dormroom with pizza & fries in hand* Hiya.Just came back in,from the bitter cold, shopping at Target(for a new cordless phone & Garden State dvd).A 3.92,that's amazing Eduardo, wow. Hey Ryan,I'll check online in the next day or 2 for some forums, there should be something. <turning on space heater & throwing afghan around shoulders>.

<EM sings The Mirror Song from Toys>
Memories of things that never happened
these are always the hardest to forget
all the old friends and the loved ones
these are the people you haven't even met
looking forward into the old days
looking back at what there will be
there's no reality it's just an illusion
there's no real sanity just plain confusion

how do you feel?
well I don't know just how I feel
all I know that I love you girl (what is real)
it's so real, so real, surreal

here we go

there is no single circumstance I never took a final chance
I made it something that you can see and touch forever
I always looked the same from every angle and never cast a shadow
that would change the way you thought about your very being
that what what you were seeing would always be
would always be
would always be the truth

how do you feel?
well I don't know just how I feel
all I know that I love you girl (what is real)
it's so real, so real, surreal
it's so real, so real, surreal
it's so real, so real, surreal
ooh it's so real, so real, surreal
oh all right ahhh!
well I don't know just how I feel

"We have a tradition of whimsy here at Zevo toys.
Dad began that tradition with Milton the Friendly Elephant
and it carries all the way through the new line."

there is no single circumstance I never took a final chance
I made myself a thing that you could see and touch forever
you always looked the same from every angle and never cast a shadow
that would change the way I felt about about your very being
that what what you say would always be
would always be
would always be
would always be the truth

how do you feel?
well I don't know just how I feel
all I know that I love you girl
it's so real, so real, surreal
all the seasons I have spoken
all the reasons I have rhymed
for the state of incandescence
just imagine what is real
simply then the words were spoken
just imagine what is real

what is real
what is real

Thanks JFS, that movie's always a good one. BTW: Speaking of Robin, the Aladdin 2 & 3 DVD set was released today. Gonna retake a few photos lost in the shuffle tomorrow, dig up a spare headset for Rizzo to replace the glued one, and then we'll be heading out for our first class of the season tomorrow night. Have fun in the dorms, will post again later.

And I hope it's not too cold/hot for you and the band JFS. *Setting dorms thermostat to a comfortable setting for the entire house.

Just got done going over the books. I finished the laundry, watched Lethal Weapon 2 while I folded it, went to work, came home, flipped through my text books. Now I'm beat. It's been a wonderful day, though. I found out that my car is paid off and I didn't even know it!

Link: How did you not know?

Me: Well, I'm not really sure. The amount of money that I owed each month was determined by combining the loan amount with interest. I guess sending the bank checks over the monthly balance early on paid off for me.

Link: And you didn't keep track?

Me: Well, I thought I was keeping pretty good track. Based on my math, I would still have eight more months of payments to go. It's no wonder math was never my best subject.

Link: What is your best subject?

Me: Always has and always will be lunch. Too bad I never got graded for eating. I'd have a 3.92 GPA like our good buddy Count.

Link: Oh, and by the way. Thanks for resetting the thermostat, Count, I feel so cozy.

Me: Oh yeah, me too. I'm going to shed these five sweaters now because I'm starting to sweat. Ahh, much better. Mmm...I smell pizza and fries! Are you hungry, Link?

Link: Well duh.

Me: Let's see what's available.

Link: Yes, let's!

Glad the temp's OK for you guys. As for my undergrad GPA, that's what happens when you get nothin' but A's in your major field. That, and I completely disconnected from the realm of Muppets during those years. Even gave up continuously watching SS, *sniff. But after I found this forum here, my Muppet spark's bee rekindled. And besides, now that I'm at Law School, it's not the grades that are important it's passing the classes and getting the credits towards graduating. Halfway there already, let's just see how it goes from here on out.

Count: "Yes, that's 47 out of 92 credits needed."
Fright you are my friend, well let's leave Ryan and Link to get some dinner. See you guys tomorrow.

I was wondering if anyone would like to have an all day DVD marathon of old cartoons from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's this saturday? That is if me and Herry don't have to work this weekend. We'll have popcorn, chips and dip, hamburgers, pizza, chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatos and gravy and all sorts of candy. Just let me know and I'll get it all sorted out soon.

That one's for you JFS, enjoy the movie.

Got back from classes earlier, got waaay swamped with the E-mails, just finishing everything fright now. The Count's asleep in his bed, happy that we finally finished the first Counting Creature for the castle, and there are plans for at least four more right now. Gonna leave my recorder blanking the cassette for tomorrow and will probably hit the sack myself soon. Got an early rise for the transport to the campus, and then it's getting marred with the stuff like gettin' books and lining up readers for interviews.

Well, sleep peacefully and looking forward to the party at Kyle's on Saturday, that is if it happens.

Sure thing Christy, will send it to you ASAP. What's going on in the dorms you ask? Well, Kyle and the Monsters will be hosting a cartoon cavalcade on Saturday, they got the tapes and the food all set up. Will probably bring along tapes of some of mine, then again don't think I have any on tape. Might duck out to catch the shows currently on ABC Family, WB Kids, and Toonami on Saturday night.

Other than that, I'm working on my Muppets figure display and some other university errands as the semester starts up again.
Hope to see you again soon Christy.

What's your script about (or is it confidential for copyright purposes)? I've begun work on filming my puppet show! I was cracking myself up all day today. My puppets are lousy but oh man are they funny.

Welcome back, christyb! New with Link and myself is that our good Oreos were eaten by a scandalous financial adviser all while he had me enrolled in the wrong class. But as Count pointed out, the courses here are free, so it's odd that there was a financial adviser here in the first place.

Link: So you mean someone was an imposter?

Me: Yes...an imposter! An Oreo snatching rascal who is both devious and easy to talk to. Hmmm...be on the lookout everyone! And guard your foodstuffs. It's a shame this had to come out just before the big cartoon party.

Well, it's off to the bat-room for a toothbrushin' and then it's off to sleep.
Count: "Yes, and I can start counting the sheep as we go to sleep!"

OK, looking forward to the cavalcade tomorrow. Almost done with the display, just a few more things to get ready. Kermit needs his mug, will end up using a spare one, gotta put the stuff on Rizzo's table, and then it's a matter of washing down the shelves and washing the Swinetrek and Mini Muppets. Though maybe we should have our bats help out.
Ah well, looking fine if we say so ourselves.

Oh BTW: Kyle, they're showing Power Rangers Generations on ABC Family and Toon Disney, thought you'd be interested since they started from the very beginning on the rotation broadcasted on Toon Disney Tuesday-Thursday nights at 8 o'clock PM EST.
And hope noone comes trying to destroy the Wal-Mart you work at, we all know the secret to destroying the heart of Wal-Mart thanks to South Park.

Well, the thing was that I hoped they would to see everything from the beginning. Toon Disney came through and started with Season 1, the Dino Zords. ABC Family's showing Season 6 Power Rangers in Space on weekday mornings and Season 7 Lost Galaxy on Sundays from 11 to 12 noon.
Missed out on the one on Wednesday, probably Green Ranger Part 1, since the signal got blacked out due to the rain. But rully looking forward to watching the whole thing.

Oh, and the episode of South Park was from this recent batch of episodes, so they might reair it fairly soon or later in the summer.

Count: "Yes, and we brought some things for the cavalcade ourselves as well."
Yep, Count here brought the onion rings and little jalapeño poppers for the buffet. And I brought tapes with...
Scooby Doo Monster Movies with special guest stars like Sandy Duncan and Don Adams.
Spider-Man and his Amazing Spider Friends.
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
Thought that would be enough though I got some other stuff too. BTW: Saw the new show WITCH earlier this morning, seems to me that angle's been done before on a show on Fox but that's neither here nor there.

Prairie:Hey guys...PD here.
My partner in crime (aka Kathy) has a horrible sore throat :( She's pretty sure she got it from her sister who was sick with a cold & sore throat the whole cruise.Anyone know of any remedies? She's gargled with salt water (yuk) & will try Chloraseptic tomorrow.
Of course it doesn't help matters that she was on the phone for 3 stinkin' hours with a friend! She tried to cut the conversation off after about two hours but first of all she hadn't talked to the guy in a couple of years (they're JUST friends,gang...don't get any ideas.)Second ,he called her & she didn't want to be rude by cutting him off. Finally he had sent her some Sha Na Na & Bowzer stuff. So she wanted to tell him that the stuff was
See ya!

Hmm, a sore throat eh? Only thing I'd recommend is to drink some soothing tea and get advice from someone else, hopefully more medicinally inclined than the lot of us. Gonna see about getting some errands from my To-Do list done tomorrow, glad you girls had fun on the cruise.

This was some cartoon marathon. Didn't know it would last until Monday. Sorry about that guys. Grover, Herry and Cookie all crashed out on the sofa. *wakes up Herry* Yo Herry? Its time to get dressed for work.

Herry: (sleepy) I...don't.....want.....to. Still sleepy.

Come on! I'll take you to the bath tubs. *puts Herry on my sholders* MAN! You need to lose some weight!

Herry: Its all musle! Get used to it.

(whispers) To much snacks. :smirk:

A mintue later.....

I'm going to watch some "House of Mouse" before we go.

Herry: Should we wake Grover and Cookie Monster?

Nah, we'll let them sleep. They need it.

Herry: You ready?

Yea! Let me get some food for lunch. Ok See ya'll leter. *walks out door*

Well, we can continue that in our cubbies at the Law School's library with the computers there. Though our 1 Counting Creature will have to be lonely a little bit longer.

I've said it before, and I'll say it time and time again: Theraflu! Even for colds, Theraflu works magic for helping you feel and get better. I love that stuff.

Regarding sleep: I went to bed a little after 9:00 last night, earlier than I've been to bed in a while, and I woke up this morning feeling more tired than I would had I gone to bed at my usual time (a little after 11:00). Why is that?

Standing there alone
The ship is waiting
All systems are go
"Are you sure?"

No need to abort
The countdown starts

What's not to get about it Vic? It's a standard jerk hero epic story where he "has" to kill the overgrown monster cause they can't have him wreaking havoc through the palace... la, la, la. And then he has to go and kill the mom cause they can't have her breeding more monsters... la, la, la. And one last fight when he's an old man just to go out in a blaze of glory though it means his own certain death cause he's an old man now.
I know, I know, I'm oversimplifying the plot, but whacha gonna do?

Good morning everyone! Ahhh, Saturday here at the dorms...how lovely. No worries about class, no alarm clocks, just coffee, gargantuan apple cinnamon muffins (stop by if you want one!) and peace and quiet. Say, pizza does sound good. Methinks I'll swing by Cici's pizza buffet and scarf some down. As a side note, I'm torn between Million Dollar Baby and Sideways. Closer is no longer being shown at my theater. Oh well, hope everyone has a terrific weekend!

Do-doo da-doo-doo.

OK, JFS, you just knew someone was gonna do that after changing your sigline. Could go with a quote by Molly Shannon from the Rudy Juliani SNL episode, but will keep it clean.
As for today, got to watch a few new eps of my Saturday stories, you'd know them better as cartoons. If you guys want some pizza, LMK we can go to the parlor together later in the afternoon. Not sure what the plans are for us but at least it's going OK.

*Sing.
When the moon hits your eye.
Like a bigga pizza pie.

That's... a-hungry.
Hey JFS, whatcha want on that ol' pizza pie? Might order one myself and share if you want some. Just hope Grover delivers quickly.
Count: "Just so long as my favorite pizzeria's still in business."
You mean the Pizzeria Dos Chefs?
Count: "Ah ha! That's the 1, 2."
Well, let's see if they deliver the pizza we ordered with Grover. BTW: Had a brainstorm regarding the castle, gonna rework it to reflect the new vision of the different counting creatures coming on to promote their particular number as the Number of the Day, will hopefully have an update on the revamped project.
Have a good lunch you guys and gals.

Aw, why didn't you tell me we were out of hot choc? Had some this morn with my bagels. Coulda made enough for everyone. Oh well, maybe next time. As for the pizzas, thanks but we already ordered two Hawaiian pizzas and ended up storing the leftovers in the common room fridge. The photos of my collection are all finished, now it's a matter of starting to bring them together for the product guide I want to make. Gonna see if I can get some help with that. Also gonna see my Toonami shows later tonight, you're welcome to come by if you want.

A very good morning to everyone! Yesterday was quite pleasant. Started things out with Folgers coffee (robust) with one cream and one sugar and an apple cinnamon muffin. Took off to an antique mall where I found an Amazing Mumford teenie beenie from Kelloggs, and three Sesame Street records (Bein' Green/I'm So Blue, Doin' the Pigeon/a song I can't remember, and then another one with two Bert and Ernie songs, Dee Do Dee/La La La or something like that). Then I saw Sideways. I still can't determine if it was the funniest deppressing movie I've ever seen or if it's the most depressing funny movie I've seen. Either way, great flick. Then I came home, ate pepperoni pizza and mild Buffalo Wings, watched my Seven DVD, then went out and rented Garden State (very good flick), Mystic River and Collateral and picked up a couple of nice Cabernets (Sideways has that effect on me, I guess. I'd have picked up a pinot but didn't want to wait for it to chill). Great day, great day. If today is half as good, I'll be elated. Have fun everyone!

Dee: Get lots of rest Kathy, and drink fluids, especially orange juice(or something of the like)if you can.Hope you get well soon. Wow Ryan, you went on an all out movie fest.Glad to hear you liked Sideways & Garden State.I personally don't like the taste of wine, but I did find the movie very informative. I'm still watching Eddie's Father,I taped several episodes whilst it was on cable. One of my favorite childhood tv show's. Good minds think alike, don't they Ryan.Cool buddy. Just finished some leftover meat lover's pizza.

"Good minds think alike, don't they"

That they do, Dee, that they do. Leftover pizza will be my lunch today, totally. Though I just finished yet another apple cinnamon muffin and currently sipping on Double Chocolate Truffle coffee. I think I made it too weak, though.

As for my movie fest, I don't do that very often. However, my wife worked all day yesterday so I was able to check out some movies she never had an interest in. She did watch Garden State with me though, and I believe she liked it. I'm going to watch Mystic River tomorrow while she's not at home and get a feel for Clint Eastwood's directing before deciding if I want to see Million Dollar Baby. I've seen Unforgiven, but it's been a while.

I'd better get going. Megan (my wife) is enjoying her one day off this week by watching He(ck)boy so I suppose I'll join her. Have a great day!

Hey guys. Finished bathing and getting dressed and everything, going on a food run. The pizzas we stored are long gone and we need something to fill our little black holes for the time being. Gonna swing by Mae Wong's and get some Chinese take-out, and then we'll probably hit Baskin-Robbins for some ice cream. The college schedule's a bit hectic, but we're trying to manage bit by bit.
Hope everyone here has a good afternoon.
