Well, here we are on another Friday. And today marks another birthday to add to the pile. Whose you ask? It is the birthdayof that certain custodian... Beauregard! No, not the MC forum member, the Muppet after whom he is named. He takes such care on making sure everything's cleaned up and ship-shape, so long as someone's watching over him to make sure it all ends up ship-shape (perfectly normal, not actually in the shape of a ship).
So if you want to leave a card or a present, do so at Room #4's doorstep in the downstairs basement floor. Hope this helps.

Hey guys!!! The second round of the 2007 Muppet presidential elections have started... And I'm helping out Catherine's campaign by drumming up support for her roommate, Miss Piggy, to be the first female president. Hopefully that'll get the women voters to vote for her, to see a woman finally take charge of the Muppet nation. And hopefully it'll get the male demographic as well as one of her new pledges is two girls for every guy when all you have to do is just wink your eye. Surprised that a good chunk of the review committee's here at the moment, told the prospective new residents that I'd submit their cases tomorrow... The elevator's kinda groovy, we plastered a psychadelic paint pattern on it and have music from MC Radio piped in. Heh, elevator music people actually want to listen to.
*They arrive at the third floor, one floor up from the main floor below. OK, common room with its own trashcan and patterned carpet. This one's my fave, it's got all the numbers from 1 to13 highlighted in spooky ghost white, not to mention the grand organ along the back wall. Your room's this way. We just turn to the right... And, yes, third door down on our right.
*Hands key to Floyd. The bathroom's the last door down on your left here in this wing, diagonally across to the right from your own room. Kate (Fragglemuppet) and Gobo, Wembley, and Lou live in #38, that's the first door on your right, here in this side of the hall. Randall, Don Music, Johnny Fiama, and Sal Manilla are in #30, the first door on your left in the other hall on this floor should you go in the opposite direction.

Ok, so here's my room looks like:

Floor: red shag carpet

Walls: Orange with a white trim along the edge. There are also posters of the Beatles, the Electric Mayhem, the Rolling Stones, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (the last one's for Animal). And they've been sound-proofed.

Beds: like I said before, Floyd's bed is on the left. It's got phsychadelic/tye-dye bedding, with plenty of storage space underneath for instruments, amps, etc. My bed is in the middle, with pink paisley bedding and - as usual - covered in a mountain of plushes. Animal has a mattress over on the left side, with extra space for his drums next to it.

Each of us has a cherry-wood night-stand and dresser. There is also a coat rack and a hat rack (I have alot of hats).

And finally, the ceiling is painted to look like a starry night, and has a disco ball hanging from it (kind of resembling the moon lol).

Well, there ya go! Hope it wasn't too long or boring.

Today's a very happy day... There are two birthdays on the docket. The first, non-dorms related, is my own mom. We'll probably end up having a quiet family dinner, no big whoop.
The second is... Today marks the purrthday, er birthday of one of my favorite furriends here on the furums. If you couldn't tell by now, it's that missy down in Room #6, Kathy's birthday!

Count: Gelatin boiling avay in the pot... Good. Now then my bats, you each have the flavoring to turn it into all of eight different colors and ve'll be counting on you to help spoon it onto the cakes.

*Pulls two trays of cake batter out of the oven, checks them and then lets them cool.

Herry: I got her the new "Night At the Museum" DVD that i got at Walmart.

You know... This NHL playoffs are very tough for me to decide, at least the Eastern Conference.
Rooting for the Sabres to win... But the other series, I want Ottawa to win so a Canadian team can advance to the finals. But if the Devils win, well, that'd give the Sabres a chance to beat all three of the Ny/NJ tri-state NHL teams in one playoff season, which'd be quite a feat.
As for the Western Conference... Ducks and Redwings will meet in the finals, Detroit moving on to take the cup away from the Eastern Conference rep.

We rully need some votes to either take the lead again or stay in second. Of course, anything we say gets twisted by the annoying mad scientist's warped mind as he keeps politically wrangling with us, unable to curb his tongue and let a statement be what it is or let a musical concert be enjoyed the masses.

Dear Ed,

Bill and I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation not just for being welcomed back to our old dorm but also for the Vote for Piggy badges you gave us. They look very nice pinned to our lapels.
We wish Piggy the very best of luck in the presidential campaigns.

By the way we're also very pleased to say that my dear mummy has no signs of her cancer re-appearing as of yet still. Even though her arthritis has been flaring up we are naturally delighted about her state of health. And she is able to keep on top of her pain with painkilling medication her doctor prescribes for her.
Obviously somebody has heard our prayers for her and we are still blowing bubbles of joy and gratitude.

Kim: It doesn't mean real mud, Boober. 'Mudslinging' means that the candidates are doing everything they can to make themselves look good by making their opponents look bad. That, and I'm not fond of all the pressure that's being put on people to vote for one person over another. Friends are turning against friends...it's getting ugly. So, I'm not voting.

A show that came on during the 90's. Pretty cool one at that. It's about a family of dinosaurs that live back during the BC years.

Grover: Hmmmmm maybe i, Grover could get Dr. Noble Prize to make me a time travler machine and get me to go see what it was like in those days.

Uh Grover? You do know that time travling is imposable, right?

Grover: Not to me it is not. That is what i will do. I will be back. *races off*

Hey Erin... That's great news. But I don't think there are any choc doughnuts stored... The bakery Sarah Y runs switched to Mexican chocolates today. Cinco de Mayo, and of course, they're doing up all the foods with that Spanish or south of the border flair. Mmm, got me a churro earlier. Sure glad Kathy and Rosita are helping with the decorations. We'll probably have a good spread for dinner between the two of us. Mmm, I can just taste my mom's 5-Star Short Stack quesadilla dish already.

Yep... Everybody's getting into the spirit and the Spanish I've been hearing sounds OK. Now then... Black beans and refried beans.. Tortillas and tortilla chips... Mexican salsa and guacamole... Steak that Bryan helped cook a little while ago... And of course, we can't forget the hot sauce nor the jalapeños. And for dessert, mmm, some Mexican chocolate and Cielitos Lindos Flan.
OK at least this gives me something to do since I'm sorta in the same rut as Ryan... Why is it that I start making some new spooks with enthusiasm and then wreck it all down? Eh, well, time for talking with the guys later... Party time now!

Grover: *click* Then it was time for bed again. All the reletives and grown-ups all took care of the clean up. I told Mrs. Alfrido i would help but she said she would do it. What a nice lady she is. *click*So me and Jose and his cousins got to watch a little TV. Hard to understand but Jose and his cousins helped me. *click* Then once again it was time for bed. Jose and I slept in the living room. While his cousins slept in his room. And boy was it crowed. *click* See. *click* So the next day came and it was time for this old furry blue monster to get back to Sesame Street. *click* There i am once again boarding the plane back to the United States. *click* There i am again waving now to my new family of friends. *click* "Good bye" i said. *click* And there you have it folks.
