MN (dressed as Sherlock Holmes): All right, the treats are all laid out...
Nora (dressed as a mad scientist): The props are up...
Storyteller (dressed as the Wizard): And we're in costume and the residents are all out for prowling.
MN: Let's do this. Guillotine, start chopping. Hound of the Baskervilles, start howling. Raven, start ravening.
(door flies open)
MN: Good evening, gentle visitors, and welcome to Room 7, our literary chamber of horrors.
Nora: By day...he was a good, well-behaved scientist. But by night, he was a monster. (explosion in lab)
Storyteller: Enter the Terrible Tunnel, that dreaded maw that has swallowed many daring Fraggles before their time...and it is always seeking its next meal.
MN: See here...the demon dog, the knife-wielding cutthroats of London's east end...and the fiendish criminal genius Moriarty, all the many dangers that lurk outside the door of 221B Baker Street.
Nora: Behold the scourge of 18th century Paris. The she-devil who fed on the blood of aristocrats and peasants alike. The guillotine.
Storyteller: The nocturnal count in his grim castle keep in Transylvania.
MN: The black bird of the underworld, the ever-beating heart and the dungeon full of torture devices.
Nora: Do you dare come to see?
Storyteller: For these are the horrors that have astounded and terrified for generations.
MN: Do you dare come witness the frights in Room 7?
Storyteller: All right, that was a pretty good rehearsal, but I'd tone back some of the flowery language.
MN: Yeah, save the ham acting for Miss Piggy and Link Hogthrob.
(cackles and groans all around)
Nora: Okay, people are actually knocking at the door now.
MN: (adjusts deerstalker cap) It's showtime.

Ballerina Zoe: I'm psyched, Peter
Peter: Baby Bear
Policeman Baby Bear: I'm pumped up, Peter!
Peter: Little Bird
Bumblebee Little Bird: I'm excited
Peter: Why don't we go trick or treating everybody around the dorm
ALL: Okay!

Oh, Kathy, if you're listening... Keep an eye on Gaffer to make sure nothing bad happens to her.
Yep...Gaffer's safe and sound.(BTW...I won't be around too much. For details look at my latest topic in Friends & Family. It's entitled "Owwwwwww!!!!")

Yep, saw/read through that a little. Have to ask my mom to help with something... Never mind though, just sit back and enjoy the peanut butter cups and little chocolate chippy spiders ( frozen chocolate pieces with chips all around forming the eight little legs).

MN: We'll need more orange ice cream; Richard just took a really large scoop of it...
Nora: Almost out of truffles. They're a real eyeful.
Storyteller: I'd say our setups have been a hit...but I think someone almost got their finger chopped off by the guillotine.
Nora: My, my. Maybe we should have sat the cake next to the guillotine, with a little sign saying...
MN: Actually, Marie said "brioche" instead of cake, if you wanna be technical. Anyway...the Dracula and Edgar Allan Poe displays scared several people and Muppets out of ten years' growth...so we must have done something right.
Storyteller: Yeah, because here come more trick-or-treaters and haunt seekers. Bring on more ice cream and truffles!

Kim: *whispering* Well, I'd say we're pretty much Halloween'ed out over in our room. Everyone's asleep except me.
Tuktuki: Kim?
Kim: ...almost everyone. What're you still doing up, Tuktuki? You're supposed to be asleep.
Tuktuki: Well, technically it is daytime over in Bangladesh.
Kim: A very good point. So is that the only reason you're awake?
Tuktuki: No. I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to come here and meet Betty Lou. I've really had a lot of fun this week.
Kim: I'm glad you have. And I'm sure you'll have lots of stories to tell your friends back on Sisimpur.
Tuktuki: Yeah. You know, Sisimpur is a lot like Sesame Street. I mean, some of the people who live there are like my friends back home.
Kim: That's neat. Well, you'd better get to sleep. You don't want to be tired tomorrow.
Tuktuki: Why, what're we doing tomorrow?
Kim: Who knows? Its always a surprise around here.

Ya. Just like old times. His girlfriend was very nice.
Grover: She was adorable, like me!
Cookie M: Me just wished she would have gave me her cupie cake.
It's alright Cookie Monster. She didn't know. Next time ask her.
Maurice: I'm glad I got to met them.

*Drying off the bats whle it's still a little dark out with just a minimal amount of dawning daylight. Mmm, looks like last night was punctuated by a good rainstorm.
Count: Nothing better than a good storm on Halloveen.
Yep... And I rully loved Erin's room layout and her ghoulish treats... We should do something to thank her.
Count: Like vhat?
Not sure... But at least we still have some frights left in store for this week.
Count: Yes... Today, November 1, All Saints Day... Anybody out on the streets best bevare as tonight's the night the Headless Horseman makes his midnight ride.
And then there's November 2... The Mexican Day of the Dead,I'm sure Rosita will help us with some spookily spicy monster meals and add to the devilish decor still left over from this Halloween.
Plus, we have our annual trip coming up next weekend, more on that when the date arrives. So in short... Happy haunting to one and all, the scares just keep on scaring here at the MC Dorms!
Hoots: Hmm...wonder if the Ed-Man is talkin' about the Annual Sesame Street Anniversary trip. I better start gettin' the club all ready. By the way, Muppet Dorms were sponsored on this Halloween night by the number 6, and by the letter H, which starts words like "haystack," "haunted," "horror," and of course "Hoots"! Hehehe! Happy Halloween, everyone! (flies off into the night, his black sillouette can be spotted against the bright and full yellow moon)

Wanda: That's right, doesn't someone have a birthday coming this month?
Beth: Oh maybe...I also look forward to Thanksgiving too.
Red: Ooh, is that the holiday where you eat and eat and eat?
Beth *laughing*: Sure is!

Grover: Just glad I am not working today.
Why not?
Grover: I just mean that I work lots of jobs and I did not want to work at the pizza place.
Did they call here before I made the call?
Grover: No. I just wanted a little time to myself.
I see. *turns to cartoons channel*
Herry: Leave it here. I remembered someone telling me about this one.
Maurice: I saw this one last night.
Herry: Did you like it?
Maurice: It's pretty funny. I like the dog character. He's funny.
Oh I saw this one too. I've always have loved Tex Avery. He's a pretty cool cartoonist. *hears someone at the door* *opens door* Hey there.
Anything Muppet: (pizza man) Hey there yourself. $22.35.
*hands money to pizza man* There you go and keep the change.
Anything Muppet: (pizza man) Here's your pizza. *hands the pizzas to me*
Thanks. You have a good one sir.
Anything Muppet: (pizza man) You too. Good night.
Good night. *shuts door, smells pizza* Oooo this is so good. It's here!
Cookie M: *rushes to the table* Me first!
Herry: No I am first!
It's everyone who gets to it is first. Now everyone in a stright line. *sits the pizzas down and a big wind comes through and everyone is already on the couch* That was fast. *gets some pizza* Just glad there was some left.

Grover: Did you hear that?
Herry: What was it?
Halloween is over guys. Don't worry 'bout a thing. *sees something galloping around the dorms yard* IT'S A GHOST! *runs and hides under the bed*
Grover: Wait for me! *Zip!*
Herry: Me too! *Zoop!*
Cookie M: Zzzzz.....zzzzzz.....zzzz......
How can that monster sleep through this?
Grover: I thought you said that halloween was over.
I guess not. *teeth chaters*
Maurice: *pops out from under the bed* I saw it too.
Herry: I think we all sleep in the same room tonight.
Good idea.
Ernie: Did you hear that, Bert? The Headless Horseman is riding through town!
Bert: Oh, Ernie...that's just a myth. There's no such thing as a (sees a ghostly figure riding passed the window) Headless H-H-Horsman!! Ernie, that's the Headless Horseman!
Ernie: Headless Horseman, I know!
Telly: What is he doing?
Ernie: Ed said that he rides around looking for a head.
Muppet Lettuce: (popping up) Well, he can't have mine!
Bert: Good grief.
Telly: Wait a second! The eyes are on the head. How can he look for a head if he doesn't have eyes to see with?
Muppet Potato: Maybe he has a bunch of potatoes to see for him. Potatoes have eyes you know.
Lettuce: True!
(a haunting noise is heard from the distance)
Bert: Shh...did you hear that?
Muppet Corn: Sure, I'm all ears!
(Other Vegetables break out into a chorus of hyterical laughter)
Bert: Would you guys stop it! Honestly, I must tell Bryan to stop buying talking produce.
Telly: I hope Bryan gets back soon. I'm scared! Where is he anyway?
Ernie: He went with Big Bird to get us ice cream, remember?
Telly: Oh yeah. I hope the Headless Horseman didn't get them!
Brian (TSD): So, Melissa, now that you're on your mini vacation from work are you going to pay attention to what's going on here?
Melissa (hangs head in shame): Yes. I'm sorry I've left you all feeling so alone.
Sprocket: Woof, woof arrgh.
Brian (TSD): What he means to say is that we understand. It happens to all of us sometime. We've carried on with classes as usual and everyone else has been up to the usual craziness.
Melissa: That's good to here. Now you two need to get more sleep for your classes since it is so late and I'm going to catch up in the reading room so that I can get back into the swing of things.
Sprocket (nods head as if to say finally and that all is getting better).
Melissa: Good night you two.

Hu boy... Hectic morning, replying to all the posts in the reading room, and catching up with a new chapter or two.
Don't worry about the Horseman guys... He's gourding the pumpkin patch... That's where he usually digs up a spare calabeza. *Chuckles inwardly at the bad pun, "calabaza" is the Spanish word for pumpkin combined with "cabeza" the Spanish word for head.
But now it's November 2, the Mexican Day of the Dead... So there'll be some skeletons rattling through the corridors and out of the closets. Uncle Deadly might still be in a good haunting mood. And I'll need Rosita's help prepping the monster menus. If you notice the bats with sombreros, skull masks, or firey flames errupting around their bodies, then you know those are some creepy critters decorations for the howliday.
Have fun guys and ghouls.

Bo: *on phone* On the ROAD? Run OVER? How!
Bobo: Sounds traggic.
Beau: Sounds triage.
Bean: Sounds teriffic.
Bear: Sounds horrific.
Bo: ...oh...oh...I'm sorry...it's a great loss...
Bean: *sigh*
Beau: *sad*

Ah, home again... Wonder what The Count and Rosita have been cooking up in the cauldrons over in the common room kitchen for today's festivities. Mayhaps there's a birthday coming up, not sure whose though... Must be someone here at the dorms though.
The monsters were happily cleaning up the roads, seems there was a major pizza spill. The arteries were clogged up with all that mozzarella... And traffic was backed up too, good thing I got back home before that all happened.

Uncle Deadly: Ah the day of the dead. The day of me, one may say. And it sounds like we'll have some lovely food and stories to tell.
Me: And for you Uncle D., flowers to take to your tombstone! But since I don't know where that is and you're right here I just thought I'd give them to you.
Uncle D.: Thank you my fiend. Now come along, let us go see if Eduardo needs any help from the two of us.

*Singing... If I knew you were coming, I'd've baked a cake...
Good thing I am, a big old chocolate chip one for Cookie Monster, his B-Day today you know.
Wonder if Kyle took him over to Mike's Bakery... You know what happened the last time that furry blue guy went down to get himself a birthday cookie...
Oh, the dragon tortilla chips are ready, good. Extra hot diablo tabasco dipping sauce softened with a bit of honey... Churros powdered with black sugar... Inferno enchiladas smothered with some demon roasted peppers and tomato sauce... Nachos next to the tortilla chips... And of course some refright bean and beef burritos.
Add a touch of Mexican mood music with a South of the Border spookness touch, and this party's ready to start.
Happy haunting you guys. Oh, Ryan and Uncle D, so glad to meet you guys here.
Set the table and go skulking through the halls letting everyone know dinner's on please.

That's what I was about to say. Grover your good.
Grover: Not really. *sets plate down with the bugers*
Why do you say that?
Grover: I did my best and this monster came out of nowhere and ate all the burgers.
Sorry to hear that.
Grover: That is not the bad part.
What is?
Grover: I forgot to tell him it was hot.
Why's that bad?
Grover: He then burped and caught the fan on fire.

Scooter: Yeah, maybe you're going bad! *laughs at his own joke.*
Sara: *smirks a bit* Ha, ha, Scoot. Pretty funny that one. It's just hard to get stage makeup off, espically when you cake it on thick like I did. It just didn't want it to come off easily.

Tuktuki: And I'll have to send you a nice thank you letter in return! *to the Fraggles* It was really cool meeting you guys. I can't wait to tell my friends in Sisimpur about you.
Tosh: Same here. Can I write to you too, sometimes?
Tuktuki: Sure! There's no rule against having one penpal, right?
Kim: Not as far as I know.
Gillis: *shaking Tuktuki's hand* Let us know if you find any Fraggles or Fraggle Holes in your part of the world, all right?
Tuktuki: No problem, Gillis.
Boober: Have a safe trip back home.
Tuktuki: Thanks Boober.
Kim: Okay, we'd better get going if we want to make it to the airport on time. I'll be back in a little while, guys; I need to run some errands after taking Tuktuki to the airport.
Gillis: Don't worry, we'll be fine here.
Kim: Just make sure the room is still in one piece when I get back, okay?

*Returning home to the dorms with a big smile on my face... Well, got some of the items from my wishlist... They had the Electric Company Volume 1, both FR sets, the Schoolhouse Rock DVD I've been meaning to get, even picked up a copy of The Corpse Bride to watch later tonight and keep the frights going.
Speaking of witch... Sara, that's a great idea you had, two costumes for the work of one. No longer a witch, you can just get some ratty clothes of yours you've worn for a long time and claim to be a cryptkeeper instead. Heh, that'd give you the purrfect hexcuse to go into Richard bad joke mode.
*Overhears talking in Room #3, waits for them to leave and calls Wanda... Hey Wanda, did you mention something about Beth's birthday? Heard something about a golden birthday... Not sure, but I think you or Beth might've gotten her numerical terms mixed up. You see, golden anniversary or celebration refers to 50 years, the birth or hallmark of 25 years is called a silver anniversary. Hope that helps, and see you at Erin's party on Sunday night if you can make it there.
Ah, now to relax and watch some TV here in my nicely freshened air contioned room.

Ernie: What's up, Bryan?
Bry: Well, I just got a call from some lady asking me to audition for their production of "Miracle on 34th Street" as an immediate replacement.
Ernie: Oh really? That's great!
Bry: I guess, but the strange thing is, the lady never said on the message what company she is with. She just left her phone number.
Ernie: Are you going to call her back?
Bry: Yeah, I should, but I wouldn't be able to do it anyway. I start rehearsals that other show next week and am pretty much tied to that for a while. Oh well. Hey, I'm hungry. Let's go get some lunch.

Gonzo: Something wrong Ry?
Me: Yes, this chapter I'm trying to write. Why oh why can't it write itself??
Gonzo: Because if it could it would probably be a Muppet. Then it would get up and walk out.
Me: ...Gonzo I think that's the first intelegent thing you've ever said to me.
Gonzo: *shrug* Most of the time I'm too busy planning stunts involving chainsaws, diesel fuel, and matches.
Me: ...Like I said, that was the FIRST and probably last intelegent thing you've ever said to me.
Gonzo: It comes and goes...
Me: Right. So any ideas for this next chapter Gonz?
Gonzo: Hmm, well I think you should explore more of this Benny guy's personalitiy. I mean, we really don't know what he's thinking through all of this. You had an Exod scene in "Old Friends" I think you should do one like that with Benny.
Me: ...Okay, so that wasn't the last intelegent thing you've ever said to me. Thanks Gonzo.

Betty Lou: Guess I won't be having my golden birthday for a while, huh?

Hey guys... Sorry it's late, had some problems with my phone line but it's taken care of now...
Today is the birthday of one of our good friends... Ms. Erin, who lives downstairs in Room #7. She's one of our resident RHLC members as well... So there'll be some goodies tailor-made for the party to be held later tonight. Again, sorry it's short notice at mid-day, but I do hope to see some of the dwellers of the dorms in the first floor's common room for the party.
Have a good day everybody.

Bry: Erin's having a birthday party tonight.
Big Bird: I love parties!
Bert: Who's Erin again?
Ernie: She's the one who turned her room into a spooky haunted house.
Bry: In all honesty, Ernie, that doesn't really help much. In October this whole building is one big haunted house.
Telly: (having some left-over shivers) That's for sure! *shudder*
Bry: Bert, Erin lives downstairs with the girl Nora and the Storyteller Fraggle.

Hello from the dorms management team... As you're quite aware, we're already in the month of November... And there's one date that's near and dear to all of our hearts in this month. No, not the fourth Thursday, that's closer to our stomachs. We speak of course of this coming Friday, November the 10th. That date marks another birthday of sorts... Sesame Street's birthday!
And to celebrate, as we do every year, there'll be a field trip for the entire weekend to the happiest street in all of NYC. So if you wish to attend, I suggest you send me a PM confirming you'll be joining us. Also, please LMK if you think it would be a good idea to send PM's to the entire cast of residents living here so that everyone knows about the news firsthand.
Count: Or second hand, or third hand, ah-ha!
Rully hope to see a ton of friends from here in the dorms be part of the fun this weekend, have a good day.

Hi Bry... Sorry, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get those... First off, I'm trying to keep up with my um, real life, and there's a paper that I'll have to work on this weekend and coming Monday, as well as the rest of the week. Then there's prematriculation tomorrow... Plus my cousin's wedding on Saturday... And of course, I'm working on something else of my own personal projects.
But rest assured once I get a breather and can come up with enough junk to fill up the rest of the guys' I'll send you my thoughts.
Again, I'm sorry it's taking so long and do appreciate your help and patience.
BTW: Did you get the PM I sent out earlier today for this weekend's trip? Just curious since it didn't show up in my PM Outgoing box. Oh well, have a good evening and a great audition.

Grover: I know Cookie. Do not worry.
Come on. I got this DVDR from guy who I work with. It has several old Bugs Bunny cartoons on it.
Maurice: Ooooo I have always have wanted to meet him.
Herry: I have wrote him lots of times. *holds up a picture signed by Bugs himself*
Grover: That is neat Herry. Lookie at what I have. *holds up a picture signed by Daffy Duck* He is my hero.
I know for a fact that Kermit and his gang has meet Mickey Mouse.
Monsters: Ooooooooo....
Yep. Come. Were wasting time. *puts DVDR in*
Thanks, Ed. Actually, it wasn't an audition I was going to today. I was called in to substitute teach an acting class today at the performing arts school my girl directs at. The regular teacher had food poisoning, so I filled it. I've worked there a few times before. Anyway, take your time with that list. It's no big deal of course. I was just curious. We all have lives. Heck, my whole last week has been pretty busy. So no worries. Well, I'm off to bed. By the way, the Muppet Dorms were sponsored today by the letter N and by the number 15.

Bo: *on mobile phone* Yeah, hey Ed, if we change our minds about the field trip can we just buzz down in Beau's taxi? *yells* Can we borrow it?
Beau: Sure you can borrow it, but why buzz when I could just drive?
Bobo: Hey Beau! Watch this! *smacks self in the side of the head and a peanut flies out left ear* Believe it or not, I put that up my nose.
Bear: Gross...smells good though.
Bean: *hanging on Bo's foot inside well* La, la, ala, la, la ala...
Bo: So, whadda you say, Ed? The echoeing? Oh that's just becuase I'm stuck down a well. No big deal.

*Checks messages on phone... Hmm, an echo from Bo inside that well... Well, well, well...
I'll just leave him a reply saying it's OK if he decides to show up at SS later in the weekend if he decides he wants to go. Like I said, he has till Friday, but he can get Beau to drive him in his taxi... And maybe some other stragglers who decide to show up there on Saturday or later in the weekend.
*Heads off to have some breakfast.
*Calls Lindburgh to have him come and extricate Bo from that well of his. Wonder if he'll meet three little sisters who paint things that start with M down there.

Hey Bry... See if you can get Bert to try oatmeal with raisins in it the way I like it. After all, it is National Try A New Food Day. Even Telly braved the dread of eating square grilled cheese sandwiches instead of triangle-cut.
Course, it's entirely possible you're stocked with some Wheatena... That's oatmeal but made with wheat instead of oats, used to eat it up when I was younger.

11-09-2006, 09:55 PM
Um Telly... I don't think it'd be much fun for Kathy if she has to hop on just one foot all the time. Rully, it'll be all fright. Kathy will let us know if she wants to come and if so, if she wants us to get her a wheelchair so she can at least be somewhat mobile when visiting the street. If not, then it's OK, there'll be some of our friends from here in the dorms who'll be staying behind so she'll still have some company.
Come on, let's get you back upstairs to your room.
*Takes Telly by the hand and leads him off to the furnace elevator... Say hi to Bryan if you see him.

Super Grover: Hey Kyle.
What is Super Grover doing?
Super Grover: I am trying to help my friend Kathy.
Oh I see. Well like I head Ed say we'll just find out if she wants use to help her. Don't worry about it. Come on. It's getting late.
Super Grover: Ok. We did try Telly. Bye.
*steps inside the room*
Maurice: Hey Kyle. Hey Super Grover! Is it really you? Can I have your autograph?
Super Grover: It is I Super Grover himself. *lefts head high* Certainly! *tries to find a piece of paper and a pen* Whoops. I think I left it in my other cape. *laughs* Do not worry tho. I Suuuuuuuper Grover will get you an autograph. I will be right back. *turns and trips on cape* Ow!
Wouldn't it be better to just walk other then running.
Super Grover: Super idea. *walks off and comes back with an autograph picture of himself* There you go. My work here is done. I will now go and save someone else.
Herry: You really didn't help anyone.
Shhhhhhh Herry.

Prairie:We'll take turns! Everyone around here likes to help. You know that, silly!

Push? The wheelchair Kath? Well, if you want to have an old-fashioned one I'm sure they'd probably have one there at SS at some place or other. But you could always borrow a motorized wheelchair, one of those that needs no pushing from the back at all, you just control it like a sort of mini racing chairlike vehicle.
Oh well, LMK and I'll have things ready when we schedule our departure.
Telly: Yeah, we tried. Hey! (light bulb over head) She doesn't have to hop on one foot. She can hop on my pogostick! It's much more fun than a wheelchair.
Big Bird: Telly, I may be wrong but I don't think the pogostick idea will work either.
Telly: Why not?
Big Bird: I don't know. I just have a feeling.
Bry: Hey, you two! What's going on? Come on inside, it's getting late.
(inside room 29)
Bert: Hey, Bryan, you were right! Oatmeal with raisens is great!
Bry: Are you still eating that stuff?
Bert: I just can't get enough. Yumm...(taking a big spoonful of oatmeal)
Bry: Happy National Try a New Food Day!
Ernie: But it's hardly new. You just put a few raisens on top. Oh, boy...
Bry: Muppet Dorms were brought to you today by the letter H for "help", "healthy", and "happy", and by the number 0, for 0 talking vegetables in our kitchen anymore.

Well... Though they're motorized, they're not as speedy as you make them to be. Oh aye, they do get you where you need to get to without someone pushing from behind... But I'd say they move at a normal pace. And besides, they make a sort of whirring noise from the motorized battery that lets people know someone's coming, same as the taps on pavement from my walking stick when I'm on the campus grounds.
But if a regular chair's the one you'd prefer, arrangements can be made. We'll have everything taken care of for tomorrow. Now get some sleep everybody, it'll be a busy sunny day tomorrow.

Good thing Diana let us borrow the Electric Mayhem's bus. Sure, we could always go down to Nelson Square and get some transportation from there to Sesame Street, but it's always better to take our own bus when sallying forth on dorm trips like these.

Sara: But what if something gets damaged? Or the suitcases get lost? Or Animal decides to eat my underwear??!?
Scooter: They won't get damaged, at least not to the point of the stuff inside getting messed up. They won't get lost, we're strapping all the stuff to the top of the EM's Bus. And Animal won't eat your underwear, or anything else you own!
Sara: ....okay....*Starts to put away the suitcases, until there are only 4 left.* There. One suitcase each, and we'll share one for toiletries. And...hey we can go to Hooper's Store incase we need anything else!
Sadie: That's the right thinking, Sara! *under her breath to Scooter* I was starting to think she was like Miss Piggy will all she was packing!
Scooter: *under his breath too, so Sara won't catch it.* She is a packrat, Mom. She always worries about if something goes wrong, so she packs extra. She usually gets what she's going to wear figured out, then she packs double.
Sadie: Right. *to Sara* Do you think you're going to need your cane, dear?
Sara: I don't think so. My knees been doing so much better lately. Great in fact! But uh...incase anyone else needs it, I'm bringing it. Plus I'd need it for balance if we go hiking or anything like that. I'm just too clumsy on my own sometimes.
Scooter: That's nice of you. I hear my sis is going to help Kathy with her wheelchair on the trip.
Sara: I can take turns if Skeeter gets tired too. I'll go and tell Kathy that. Can you finish up with the packing of the bathroom stuff?
Sadie: Sure, Sara. We'll finish up for you.
Sara: Thanks guys! *goes out of her room to go talk to Kathy*

Beth: Um Red...you're a bit on the small side, I know you're strong for a Fraggle, but the wheelchair is going to be twice your size
Red: Oh yeah...Hey I know, because I'm so fast, I will go and get things that Kathy or the people who are helping her need, like refreshments and stuff!
Beth: Now there's a good idea. And look at this we're all packed!
Wanda: Why, yes we are!
Abby: So now what?
Beth: Now we wait to load the EM bus.
Abby: I'm so excited!

*Outside the dorms, in the parking lot behind the main building...
The luggage's all loaded up and the bus's been filled with tank. Just hope we don't need to stop at a gas station like what happened to Kermit that last vacation of theirs.
Now then... Count, will you do the honors?
Count: Certainly! Ah-ha!
Let's see... I'll count little Abby and Lou, that makes number 1 and number 2.
I'll count Bert and Ernie down the door... Number 3 and 4.
Clifford, Gonzo, and Camilla speaking cluckinese... 5, 6, 7 if you please.
I'll count Bryan and Ryan in time. Number 8 and number 9.
And then, I vill count Wanda when... She'll make number 10!
And now I vill count all the others going on the bus vith us.
There's Cookie Monster, Grover Monster, Herry Monster, Maurice Monster... That's 14! 14 friends on the field trip.
Christy, and Sara... 15 and 16.
Gobo and Wembley Fraggles, along vith Red Fraggle, thats 19 names seated on the bus.
Sadie, Scooter and Skeeter Grosse, add up to 22 people... Telly Monster, Ally, and Emmet Otter... 25 trawelers taking the trip!
Big Bird, *waves to the tall canary riding in the back seats of the bus*, that's 26.
Kate, Kathy, and Kyle... 29 of the dorms residents already on the bus!
Beth, seated next to Prairie Dawn... 31. And Rosita vith Gaffer in her lap, that's 33.
Oh, and Ed, myself and my darling Fatatatita... That's 36 dorms members anxiously avaiting us to pull out and head off to Sesame Street!
*Thunder and lightning clash and flash in the sunny skies above the mode of transportation chosen by the people leaving on the field trip as the vehicle starts rolling off into the distance driven by the very capable Bryan.
Yep, we're on our way... About half the dorms are going on this trip, if anyone else wants to join up with us once there, they're welcome to do so.
Oh... Bryan and Beth, I'm appointing you in charge of the groups should I have to leave on Saturday... Have fun guys!

Sara: *Is sitting beside Kathy during the trip, her cane hooked over the seat.* Kathy, that is really sweet of you to offer the wheelchair, but I can walk pretty easily. The only reason I brought my cane was if I got tired, or my knee acted up. I don't think I'd need the wheelchair...it's hard for someone to walk with their big toe feeling like it got chopped off. I've had two nails fully removed when I was younger, I know how you feel!
If I get tired, I'd be more likely just to sit for a little bit and people watch; you're gonna stay in that wheelchair, alright? And yes, I can push you. *grins sheepishly* Cause I can sorta use the wheelchair to give me balance while I push you around. ;)
Okay? *Smirks a little devilishly, as she uses her cane to reach across a seat, and taps Scooter on the shoulder.* How ya doing up there?
Scooter: Great, this is going to be a wonderful trip guys! I can't wait to meet the rest of your friends on Sesame Street!

We, Erin Roll (Muppet Newsgirl), Nora Brandon and Storyteller Fraggle, will be joining you by alternate transportation, due to assorted on-campus goings-on (read: homework, and a huge presentation for French class), which caused MN to be delayed.
(attached to note is a receipt for three train tickets for the 1:00 from Nelson Square to Sesame Street)

Nora: So how was the French presentation?
MN: Pretty good. Stuttered a bit but I did okay.
Nora: So sitting up all night before the computer paid off, eh?
MN: Yeah, in terms of eyestrain and a sore neck. Occupational hazard.
Storyteller: Did you bring your guitar?
MN: Yeah, it's in the luggage compartment back by our seats.
Storyteller: Swell, and I brought the quilt to work on...hey, we're running parallel to the highway.
MN: That bus there looks familiar...

*Waves back as the bus's horn blares out a couple of righteous psychadelic notes.
Bry: (at the steering wheel of the bus) Hey, ya know...I think I am finally getting used to the feel of this thing! How's everyone doing back there? We're about halfway to our destination...I think. How about some snacks? Grover, if you please?

And cereal *Gives Bert his bag of honey oat clusters.
Carrots, peas and beets *Delivers pouch of Doozersticks flavored with beets at Red's seat.
*Drops off the rest of the orders as they were placed still walking down the aisle of the bus's main section.
Chips and a pop for Ernie...
Apple for Maurice, PB sandwiches for Grover and Abby, along with an apple juice for both as well.
Heh... I'm sure Fozzie would find that funny. A fairy eating a sand witch is there.
*Comes back with bag of pita chips and a second can of iced tea, changed my mind, had one already while downing the chips.
Count: Hexcellent. *Feeds Fatatatita some goldfish crackers while counting them.
Hey Beth, hope the Coke and Oreos are OK... Cookie and Kyle got the rest of the cookies I brought, some Chips Ahoy.

MN: I know, how long does it take to get a broken-down Studebaker off the track?
Storyteller: Good point.
Nora: So who are we gonna visit?
MN: Well, I've been meaning to do a profile story on Little Jerry and the Monotones, Storyteller wants to visit Mr. Hooper's store...and Nora, I think you'll want to meet Sherlock Hemlock.

Big Bird: Hey, it sure does!
Telly: We're here!!

Big Bird: Oh this is going to be so much fun!!
If you feel lonely and you need a friend
I know a place on which you can depend
A place that’s quiet and always near by
And you know there
Grover: No one is a stranger, the door is open wide
And what good things you will find waiting inside
The smiles, the kindness, all troubles behind
When you go there
Big Bird/Grover: You’re on the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the beautiful world
A place to be on, a place to be free
For you and for me
Wanda: You don't have any big dogs around here, do you?
Big Bird: Only Barkley.
Betty Lou: Yeah, but he's real friendly!
Sesame Street Gang: Yes it’s the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the wonderful world
Big Bird: Wherever I ever go, the happiest street I know
Bry: Come on, Everybody!
(All the Muppets and their roomies are exploring the various areas of the street during the song)
Everyone: You’re on the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the beautiful world
Wherever I ever go, the happiest street I know
Telly: Sometimes you worry, you’re down on your fears
Abby: (to Red) But, when you’re with us, those thoughts disappear (waves her wand and disappears)
Bert/Ernie: (on each side of Sara, singing to her) We’ll be together, our friendship will grow
So, you see here
(Herry, helps push Kathy in her wheelchair as Prairie sings)
Prairie: The sun’s always shining, the sky’s always blue
(Herry: Like me!)
Rosita: And someone loving is waiting for you (gives Kathy, who's in her wheelchair, a warm fuzzy hug)
Count: It’s not so far from the place that you are
Please come be here
Non-Sesame folks (includes Scooter, Gonzo, Clifford, the Fraggles, Wanda, Sadie, Skeeter, etc.): ‘Cause it’s the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the wonderful world
Cookie: Wherever me ever go!
All: The happiest street I know

Now then... Tummies' are a rumblin'... So what say you we get over to Charlie's and have a great group dinner? Wonder if Mr. Johnson will mind if we get better service though.
*Mischievous twinkle at Christy. The tap-tap-tapping of the walking staff on the sidewalk can be heard as we make our way down the beaten path to the restaurant.

Yes, we'd like a table for 40... Well, there are 36 members in our party, three more will be arriving by train in a while... And we wouldn't want to make the same mistake Guy Smiley made that one time...
Oh, thank you. The entire roster of residents shuffle down to the stairs at the end of Charlie's Restaurant and are prompted to go upstairs, where they can have the entire second floor to themselves.

Kim: Hey, I've been on this planet 25 years; I've been around that particular block more than my fair share.
Boober: I knew I should have bought that Dramamine stuff at the store.
Kim: Well, kind of late in the game now, Boober. Don't worry, Gillis. We'll wait until you're feeling a bit better before heading somewhere.

Big Bird: Oh! I didn't know you spoke French. You're so smart!
Bry: Well...I don't really know that much French. Just the common things found on a menu.
Ernie: Waiter, what is the soup of the day? Alphabet soup? Perfect. Sounds good to me!
Bert: Well, I'm going to have some lentil soup.
Ernie: Bert, can't you eat something a little more exciting for a change?
Bert: You're right, Ernie. And a side of saltines, please.
Ernie: (Shaking his head) Hmm...
Bry: Hey, Big Bird, I think you're in luck! The Manager's Special today is a birdseed crusted shrimp.
Big Bird: That sounds interesting. Do I like shrimp?
Bry: There's only one way to find out.
Big Bird: True. I'll have that then.
Telly: Grilled cheese sandwhich cut in squares for me, and later for dessert I'll have a nice slice of pumpkin pie. Hey, this trying new foods might be the current fad, but I've still gotta find room in my meal for a triangle somewhere. And that pie looks delicious!
Bry: It sure does. For me, I'll have the barbecued salmon though.

Aw, poor Gilis! Oh boy, I bet Boober must have freaked! *waiter coming around* Let's see... I think I'll have the hole wheat pasta with vegibtables, and a lemonade.
Lou: I'll have the tomato salad with mustard dressing, please.
Wembly: I'll have the same thing. That was good last time I had it!
Gobo: I think I'll try the Greek salad with no anchovies and extra raddishes, please.
Wembly: Gee, that sounds goodd too.
Gobo: You can have some of mine.
Wembly: Wow, thanks!
So, is there anything special you want to see while you're here?
Lou: Didn't I hear something about someone having a baby?
Yeah, that was Gina. I'm looking forward to seeing him myself!Wembly: I've never seen a baby silly creature before!
Well, I've never seen him, but if I were to guess, I'd say he's about the same size as you. Maybe a little bigger, because he's a bit older than a newborn.
Gobo: Well I plan to explore and map as much as I possibly can of this street!
Well, you'll have plenty of opportunity! Ed says we might be staying here longer than originally planed!Fraggles: Great! Perfect!

Uncle Deadly: Pardon?
Me: Heh, just check the nearest copy of Don't Trip you can find.
Uncle D.: And that would be...?
Gonzo: Got me! Can we eat now?
Me: Actually, I was thinking sleep...
Clifford: Man! We've been waitin' all day to eat!
Me: Meh, well you guys go 'head, I've gotta sleep.
Camilla: Brawk bagawk baw?
Me: Heh, whatever you guys say. See you in the morning! *heads off to Furry Arms for bed*
Gonzo: Hey, has anyone seen a waiter?
*from a booth behind the others Fat Blue appears*
Fat Blue: Hey! I've been waiting for three days for a waiter! Don't complain yet!
Clifford: ...Anyone else wanna call for pizza?

Ah, thank you waiter. Pigno Monster makes the rounds, toting platters and trays with all the meals ordered from the kitchen to the now 48 members of the MC Dorms party at Charlie's.
Mmm... Think I'll have the shrimp sandwich on rye bread, New England clam chowder in a bread bowl and Sprite to drink. Glad they have refills for the sodas.
Count: Yes, wery lucky... As for me, I'll have the 40 clove garlic chicken vith white rice and cole slaw, along vith a tall glass of iced tea to drink.
Sure glad Kim and Betty Lou and the Fraggles were able to make it, not to mention Erin and Peter with their respective roomies. Feels like home away from home away from home.

*Once dinner was over, the check paid for and tip left at the table, all of the weary travelers sought lodgings for their stay. Some went back to their familiar homes, others got accomodations at the Furry Arms Hotel, and yet another group of people was able to get a room at the adjacent unnamed buildings surrounding the Street. But one person in particular headed off for the bootiful castle located on some part of Sesame Street, modeled after the gothic design of Belvedere Castle in Central Park. No, this second castle wasn't to be found at the grand garden at the heart of New York... It's location was well secluded, still beating with the life force that fed the magic of the Street.
Me: OK, I'll have to head off to the subway now...
Count: Wery vell my fiend, I hope you have a grand time.
Me: Thanks Count... Have to get a ride back home to get bathed and dressed and properly groomed. Will probably get some breakfast on the way there, good thing the subway has a direct route back to the dorms.
Count: Your cousin vill look vonderfully bootiful for her vedding.
Me: Yep, so that's where I'll be all day today. Please tell Bryan and Beth they're in charge of the groups until I get back tomorrow.
Count: Vill do, now go... You're going to be late.
Eduardo gets his walking stick, glasses, and other items in his jeans pockets before heading off to the subway to catch his ride back home.

Kim: *snickers* You named your turtle "Speedbump"?

Kim: Yeah, it is. So we've got "visiting Betty Lou's house" on the agenda...what's next?
Boober: I think I need to do some laundry.
Kim: It can wait until we're back at the dorms; technically speaking, we're on vacation here for the weekend.

Herry: Here for lunch.
Alan: Ok. What would ya'll like?
I'll take a chicken sandwich cut all the veggies, please.
Alan: Just the bread and chicken?
Yep.
Grover: I will have my usual.

Grover: You got it.
Herry: I will take turkey sandwich with all the veggies.

Alan: Ok? Anyone else?
Herry: I think that's it. *looks around*
Should be. If you need any help I'll be willing to help.
Alan: Sure. I could always use some help. Thanks Kyle.

PETER: Say, why don't we go to Hooper's Store for Lunch
ZOE: Yeah
BABY BEAR: I had a great time with my family,
PETER: They're so nice
LITTLE BIRD: I got to play with Curly Bear
BABY BEAR: She's so nice and my family is nice too
Bry: (walking into Hooper's Store) Hi, Alan!
Alan: (trying to get Baby Bear's porridge prepared with honey) Hi, Bryan! Good to see you.
Bry: You too. (sees some other friends) Oh, hi, Kyle! Hey, Monsters. Is that cookie dressing? Hmm...must be a new brand.
Alan: Here for lunch? What can I get ya?
Bry: Hmm...how about a club sandwich and a glass of apple juice.
Alan: You got it!
Bry: Thanks.
Alan: You enjoying your time here too?
Bry: Oh sure, I always do. It's such a nice day today. The sun is out, the birds are singing...
Big Bird: (walking into the store) La la la la la!
Bry: See what I mean? Hi, Big Bird!
Big Bird: Oh, hi, everybody! Hi, Alan!
Alan: Hi, Big Bird! The usual?
Big Bird: If by "usual," you mean a birdseed milkshake, then yeah!
Alan: Sure!
Big Bird: Oh, but you look kinda busy. I can come back later.
Bry: Oh, that's okay. Tell ya what, I'll make my own sandwich and then Alan can make you your shake.
Alan: You sure? Thanks, Bryan. I just didn't expect this kind of rush today.
Bry: No problem.
Big Bird: Oh boy!

Beth: Abby's family was so nice last night
Red: Yeah, her mom's a good cook!
Wanda: So where are we off to now?
Beth: Well, I was thinking Hooper's Store, it looks pretty busy but I'm sure there's room
*they enter*
Alan: Well hello ladies! Come on in and find some room
Beth: Thanks Alan
Alan: Boy, there are so many people in here. I'm waiting for the Count to show up and start counting them all!
Red: So can I get a doozer dust milkshake?
Alan: Gee, I don't think I've ever made one of those before
Red: Don't worry, I've got the doozer dust *hands baggy to Alan*
Beth *sitting down* Hey Bryan, Hi Kyle! Hi Monsters! How's it going?
Wanda: Tuna fish sandwich Alan?
Alan: You've got it

Hey Bryan. Big Bird! *waves*
Grover: Hey there.
Herry: Hey.
Cookie M: *waves as he eats* Mmmmmmm good!
Maurice: Good to see ya'll here.
*sees Beth* Hey Beth! How's things going? Good. Red! Wanda!
Grover: Hey there Red. Hi Beth! *runs over to give Beth, Red and Wanda a hug*
Herry: Glad to see ya'll here.
Cookie M: Hello! *still eatting*
Maurice: Hey Beth. Red and Wanda. Glad to see everyone here at Hoopers. Good place to eat. I know that.
Cookie M: Me always loved coming here. Alan good store keeper.
Alan: Thanks Cookie Monster.
Big Bird: Hey, I have an idea. Let's count everyone here and however many of us there are will be the number of the day!
Bry: Well, was thinking the Count might show up for that.

Alan: Sounds like a good idea to me. Any volunteers?
Grover: *spins around several times, stops wearing a Count type of costume*
Go at it Grover.
Count Grover: Ok. Here I go. One, two, three, four, five..take it away Big Bird.
The Count
11-13-2006, 03:02 PM
Mmm... Sure could do with something to eat.
Seems Hooper's a bit too busy today. I know, I'll just head on over to O'Brien's and get a sandwich or a bowl of rice and beef and beans Mexican style with a tall glass of iced tea.
*Waves at friends at Hooper's while walking off to O'Brien's.
Big Bird: Okay, well, let's see... You've already counted Alan, Bryan, Cookie Monster, Maurice and Kyle. That's 5 people. Then there's Herry, Beth, Wanda, Abby and Red Fraggle. That makes 10. Peter is here with Baby Bear, Zoe and Little Bird, and then there's you, Grover. That makes 15! 15 friends.
Bry: Umm...Big Bird, aren't you forgetting someone?
Big Bird: Who?
Bry: You, Big Bird!
Big Bird: Me? Oh yeah, I forgot to count myself! Haha! (gesters to himself and counts) 16! 16 friends having lunch together!
The Count
11-13-2006, 03:19 PM
Uh Big Bird... *Pauses to pop in for a quick moment...
Abby's not here at the moment, I think Beth said she was still at her fairy godparents home. So it's rully 15 friends having lunch at Hooper's Store. Though if you want to get technical, it'd be 14 friends having lunch at Hooper's Store and 1 person serving them all.
*Referring to Alan behind the counter who's currently wiping the blender clean of all the remaining clinging birdseed particles, before making another milkshake with the bag of Doozerstick dust.
So maybe it'd be better to say 15 friends at Hooper's Store for lunch. Hope that helps.
*Exits, thinks about, then comes back in to have a quick lunch there with his friends instead.
Hi Alan... Um, could I please have a toasted peanut butter and pickle sandwich please? With the crunchy peanut butter? And a bottle of apple juice please. Thanks.
Big Bird: Really, Ed? Could've sworn I saw Abby over there by the window. She's so quick with that magic wand of hers. Then again, maybe I'm imagining things.
Alan: And no need to get technical, Ed my friend. (whispers) I like to sneak a bite every now and then, myself. (subtlely pulls out a plate from under the counter with a half sandwich on it which he takes a quick bite and hides it again)
Erine81981
11-13-2006, 03:31 PM
Grover: Now that Ed and the Count are here. We can count two more people.
Herry: Ed makes 16 and The Count makes 17.
So there are 17 friends having lunch.

Sara: *sitting beside Scooter, who is sitting by the window, nibbling on a grilled cheese sandwich with a Dr. Pepper sitting in front of her.* Hmm...
Sadie: That phone call really shook you up didn't it?
Scooter: *across the table to his Mom, trying to whisper quietly* I don't think she wants to talk about it, Mom.
Sadie: Scooter. She can hear us. She's not completely deaf you know.
Sara: Partially. But yeah, Sadie. I can hear you guys nicely. *taps cane on floor, in time with her own heartbeat and finishes up her sandwich.* I'm gonna go take a walk in the park, 'kay?
Scooter: You okay?
Sara: Huh? Yeah I'm fine! *frowns for a second, then flashes a true smile at them.* Just lost my job, but I'm okay. Just gonna go clear my head, take in the sweet sounds of the birds and do some people and monster watching.
(Edit'd: I just made the 10,000 post to this thread!!!!!!)

Oh, I quite understand Alan... *Whispering back: No worries, just wasn't sure.
Since it's such a nice day outside, and there's a crowd inside, I decided to have my lunch outside in the arbor area seating area instead.
*Spots Sara walking off to the park.
Hmmm, wonder if my little cuz' is feeling OK.
Maybe a movie will cheer her up. We can go there later and see one of the newest releases... Better go and ask Scooter and Sadie if they'd like to join us. Maybe Telly and Oscar can give us some recommendations, they're in there for the Sneak Peaks and get to catch all the latest movie trailers.

Me: *back at dorms* Man, Uncle D. I hope the others don't mind that we headed back home early.
Uncle Deadly: I'm sure they'll understand my fiend, after all, you did have school today.
Me: *sigh* Yeah, the homework load shows it...
Uncle D.: *pats me on the back* It'll be okay my fiend, just get back to "Don't Trip" it'll make us all feel so much better.
Me: *frowns* Well now I know where your priorities lie Uncle D...
UD: You didn't already?
Me: *shakes head* Why are there so many papers about geometry...?
UD: Sounds like a soung cue.
Me: Not now, I've got geometry...
(In the park)
Big Bird: (strolling through the park and spots Sara) La la la... oh, hey, Snuffy, look. There's Sara.
Snuffy: Yeah. She looks kinda sad, Bird.
Big Bird: What is she doing here all by herself?
Snuffy: I don't know.
Big Bird: I know! Maybe she needs someone to play with! Let's go say hello.
(they walk up to Sara)
Big Bird: Hi, Sara! What are you doing?
Snuffy: Are you okay?
Big Bird: We just thought maybe you could use some cheering up. Actually, maybe you could help us out too.
Snuffy: Hey, yeah! We were just about the talk about the letter of the day--the letter H!
Big Bird: Hey, I have an idea! (whispers to Snuffy) How about we sing Sara that silly H song.
Snuffy: Oh, yeah! It'll be sure to make her feel better. Great idea, Bird!
Big Bird: Okay, Sara! We have the perfect thing to cheer you up. Would you mind holding this. (gives Sara a letter H to hold while they sing their song). Snuffy, you go first!
Snuffy: Okay, Bird! Listen to this, Sara! Dohoho!
A hamster ate a handkerchief, a hammer and a hoe
He ate a hundred herring and a hawk who said "Hello"
This hamster ate a pickle jar, a house and then a log
And then he got the hiccups and he turned into a hog!
Dohohoho!!
Snuffy/Big Bird: Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee
That's about as funny as it can be
Hee hee hee hee ha ha ho
"H" is the letter that we love so!
Big Bird: Good job, Snuff!
Snuffy: Aww thanks, Bird.
Ernie: (comes by) Hey, guys! What's going on?
Snuffy: We're singing about the letter H!
Ernie: Oh, can I join?
Snuffy: Sure!
Ernie: Okay, get this one...
A horse named Harvey Highersoup was hiking up the hill
And then he met a halibut who went to Honkerville
He had to play harmonica, and honked another horn
So they hooted and they honked until the night became the morn
Khekhekhe! Oh that was fun!
Ernie/Snuffy/Bird: Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee
That's about as funny as it can be
Hee hee hee hee ha ha ho
"H" is the letter that we love so!
Snuffy: You take the last one, Bird.
Big Bird: O.K. Listen to this. (giggles)
Oh, Henry Hippopotamus went hopping in the air
Until he hit a table and got honey on his hair
This handsome hippopotamus, I strongly must confess
Was not a hippopotamus, but a "hippo-pot-a-mess"!
Snuffy: Dooohh-hohhhaha!
Ernie: Good one! Khekhe!
(all giggle)
Ernie/Snuffy/Bird: Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee
That's about as funny as it can be
Hee hee hee hee ha ha ho
"H" is the letter that we love so!
(Music Stops and all three are snickering)
Snuffy: Did it work?
Big Bird: I think I see a half smirk, but that could mean anything. Well, Sara, all joking aside...if you ever need anything, just remember you're on Sesame Street, where there's a friend around every corner! (gives her a hug)

(in a box at the opera)
MN: Nice view of the stage. We're not in the nosebleed section for once.
Storyteller: So the oxygen tanks weren't necessary.
Nora: How long will the show go?
MN: A couple of hours. But that's okay; we're not due home until tomorrow afternoon.
Storyteller: I thought they were doing "Peligro?"
MN: Well, they took it out of the repertoire for a bit because the set had this nasty habit of collapsing on them.
Storyteller: Guess that's how they got all the theater ghosts.
MN: No, the ghosts were here to begin with. Every theater needs a few ghosts.
Nora: There's one in that box over there!
Storyteller: Where?
Nora: He's the one wearing the nice-looking suit, the black tie...and the pair of Adidas.
MN: Hmm, let me see...no, Nora, that's not one of the theater ghosts. That's just Richard.
(down on stage)
Phil Harmonic: Now, now, we mustn't snore during the performance, Uncle Donnie.

That sounds fine to me. Maybe we can stay there for the night.
Cookie M: Me mom wouldn't mind guys. Me already asked her.
Maurice: Cool. I'm going to go get some stuff from my house.
Ok. Well meet you there.
Back at Cookie's Mom's house.........
Thank you very much for letting us spend the night.
Cookie's Mom: Anytime. I just love when Cookie's friends are over.
Grover: I would always come to spend the night. Remember?
Cookie M: All the time. Me and Grover had good times.
Herry: I know I did.
Maurice: So did I. Ooo remember that time we stayed up late.
Grover: That was fun. But I got to tired. My cute little body can not take to much.
I have to get up early tomorrow so I'm going to head on to bed. Good night everyone.
Monsters: Good night Kyle! *all laugh*
Cookie's Mom: Good night Kyle. Sweet dreams.
Thank you Mrs. Monster. *heads into the guest room*

MN: That Placido Flamingo is such a character, isn't he?
Nora: Yeah, I didn't know it was possible to (yawn) hold a note that long...
MN: Sounds like someone needs to go to bed.
Storyteller: Oh, yeah, she's been yawning since the end of act II.
Nora: So were you.
MN: It's okay, we can sleep late tomorrow. We're actually not heading out until Wednesday.
Storyteller: Have you two noticed that Sara's been a little down today?
MN: So she has. I heard from Scooter that it had to do with her job or something. We'll have to do something to cheer her up.
Nora: In the (yawn) morning, of course.
(walking past 123 Brownstone toward Big Bird's nest)
Big Bird: Come on, Bryan. You promised!
Bry: Yes, I know I did, Big Bird. Isn't it already past your bedtime?
Big Bird: Yes, and I would have been in my nest asleep if I didn't have to get you to come.
(Making our way through the doors into the nest area)
Bry: Big Bird, I'm sorry. I just don't see how I'm going to sleep. It's cold out here!
Big Bird: Well, I have a few extra blankets and the sleeping bag we barrowed from Luis. You can sleep right there next to my nest!
Bry: Okay, I'll try. (sets up a little bed on the ground beside Big Bird's nest)
Big Bird: (gets into his nest with Radar) Come on, Radar.
Bry: (gets in the sleeping bag and shifts to get comfortable) It is a beautiful night, though. Look at that sky.
Big Bird: Yeah. Hey, Bryan? Would you sing a lullabye?
Bry: A lullabye?
Big Bird: Yeah. You have such a nice singing voice. Radar thinks so too.
Bry: Well, thanks. Sure, I'll sing to you. I actually have just the right song...(gets up and sits on a crate next to Bird's nest.) Comfy? Okay...
Here in the middle of imagination
Right in the middle of my head,
I close my eyes and my home isn't home,
And my bed isn't really my bed.
I look inside and discover things,
That are sometimes strange and new,
And the most remarkable thoughts I think,
Have a way of being true.
Here in the middle of imagination
Right in the middle of my mind,
I close my eyes and the night isn't dark
And the things that I lose, I find.
Time stands still and the night is clear,
And the wind is warm and fair,
And the nicest place is the middle of imagination
When ... I'm ... there ...
(By the end of the song, Big Bird is sound asleep)
(whispers) Goodnight, Big Bird. (gets back into sleeping bag and tries to sleep also)
Telly: (in voice-over) Sesame Street and the Muppet Dorms were brought to you today by the letter H and by the number 17. Sleep tight!

Abby: Yea! I get to stay up late tonight!

Kim: Well guys, its our last day here at Sesame Street. The Birdland Sing-a-Long is tonight, but what would you guys like to do before then?
Betty Lou: I'm going back to visit my old school for the day; my teacher wants me to tell the class about my penpal Tuktuki.
Kim: That's cool. Are you going to tell them about her visit for your birthday?
Betty Lou: Yup! Oh, can Tosh come with me?
Tosh: Yeah, please?
Kim: Sure, no problem. You'd better not take Beast with you, though. The teacher may not like that.
Tosh: Boober, could you watch Beast for me?
Boober: Sure, Tosh.
Kim: Well, that's the girls settled. Now how about you two? Do you have anything planned for today?
Boober: (flatly) Beast-sitting.
Gillis: I'm going to visit another fellow musician you told me about. What did you say his name was? Don...Something-or-other?
Kim: *chuckles* Don Music. Just make sure he doesn't do himself any harm while you two are discussing compositions, okay?
Gillis: Right.
Kim: Sounds like we all know what we're doing for the day, then. How about we meet back at Hooper's before we go to the Birdland? Oh and Betty Lou, you'd better decide which of your pets you want to take back to the dorm with you.
Betty Lou: I will, but its such a hard decision!
Kim: I'm sure you'll make the right one.

Red: Ooh, then can we go play on the tire swing?

Big Bird: How did you sleep?
Bry: Big Bird, my friend, would you like to sleep on hard pavement with barly enough blankets to keep you warm?
Big Bird: No thanks, I have my nest!
Bry: Big Bird...

Bry: No, Big Bird. It wasn't all so bad. Thank you for inviting me to stay with you.

Bry: Hey, Telly!
Telly: Guess what?
Bry: What?
Telly: There's a sing-along party at Birdland tonight.
Bry: Oh yeah! I heard about that.
Telly: You're gonna be there, right? I've got a great song planned.
Bry: Actually, I can't.
Big Bird: You can't? Why not?
Bry: I have to teach a class downtown this afternoon and I don't know what time I'll be back. You guys go along without me and have a good time.
Telly: Okay, but it won't be the same without you.
Big Bird: No, it won't.
Bry: Sorry, guys, but you'll have fun with Ed, Kyle, Grover and everyone.
Telly: I suppose someone will video tape it.
Bry: Maybe I'll catch up with you sometime later. Otherwise I'll be staying at the Furry Arms Hotel again tonight. But what do you guys say we get some lunch before I go to work.
Telly: You got it!
(OOC: Ed, I really will be busy tonight, but I am leaving you, Beth, and/or Kyle--whoever wants to take them-- in charge of my roomies.)
