*Mokey appears in full costume, red hair and all.

(Mokey's dressed in a brownish top dress which leaves her shoulderline and upper arms bare, a pair of brown evening gloves, light white silk leggings, and brownish high-heeled shoes. There are a few knotted branches around her forehead and wrists, and big maple leaves glued to the front chest area of the dress. She also has her bright red radish pendant hanging around her neck, and a bit of dark red eyeshadow.)

Hello, and welcome to the Halloween Scavenger Hunt here at the MC Dorms.
And now, my tale.

As you know, once upon a time.
By the way, this tale is told in rhyme.
Thirteen skulls all in hand,
did hold all the treasure in the land.
And every year, on All Hallow's Eve.
The King of Counting would leave.
And hide the skulls throughout his lair.
Would ask all subjects nimble and fair.
To seek the skulls quick and bright.
Before the final stroke of mid-night.
And so, as the legend is oft to have told.
Whosoever found them all would receive their weight in gold.
What's this got to do with you?
Listen close, and I'll give you a clue.
Listen now, for one year as the king hid the skulls out of sight.
He did receive an awful fright.
He found himself in a sleeping sick.
The result of a nasty magic trick.
And now the King of Counting, sleeping sound.
Himself cannot be found.
Yes, the skulls, king, and treasure did away.
All on that grim Halloween day.
But the skulls were scattered all around.
About the dorms and campus grounds.
Up to you, to follow the trails.
And reclaim the treasure in your pails.
Find one skull, one leads to the next.
And free the King of Counting from his hex.
Once all thirteen have been found.
Then rejoicing of all shall be our sound.

Fret not, for to start on your way.
That is the last thing in verse I shall say.
To find skull marked by the number 1.
Journey to the place where you always have fun.
The place where you sing and dogs bark.
The place you shouldn't stay after dark.
Search where children play hand-in-hand.
And castles are dug in the land.
Thus my tale and clue are told.
Now start your quest to find the treasure gold.

Rizzo:Nope, while you were on vacation the count had me help him hide all the skulls, so since I know where they all are, I could very easily cheat.
Me:Okay, see you later.
(Rizzo goes back into his hole that unbeknownst to everyone leads into all rooms and such regarding campus activities)

JFS: Is it the park Count,where skull #1 is hidden? *watching The Blair Witch Project* Glad to see all that turned out last night. Mokey you looked stunning as Poison Oakley. Don't rush for your cookies Cookie,Herry,Grover & Scooby; I made goody bags,plenty of everything for everyone in them.

Floyd: So J,you said this movie was filmed in your hometown?

JFS: Approximately 45 minutes west of where I live Floyd. Almost where my cousin lives.

Floyd: Oh,I see.

JFS: I like the movie a whole bunch,its just that hand-cam shots don't agree with me.That's why its hard for me to watch Woody Allen flicks too.

Sorry, I sometimes pick up on his way of speech. Anyway, he's locked away in his coffin bed and won't appear till the scavenger hunt's finished. So I'd get a-hunting on that first skull if I were you."

Scooby/Me: Rok! Rome on ronsters. Rou heard what Rokey raid.

"Ah, it looks as if Two-Face G-Man is almost at where the skull's hid. Sure hope he finds it quick so the rest of the hunt can go on and the Count can join us. Come on, G-Man, you're so close, closer than the others of finding the skull."

*Spots some partiers coming in from the hunt.
"Oh hi guys, having fun? Well, be sure to join G-Man at the park for the hunt. It's not a matter of who finds which skull first, just so long as you follow the clues to find them all and have fun playing the game. Hope you find the first one soon."

Skull #1 opens its jaw and starts to recite the rhyme for finding Skull #2.
Skull #1: "Congratulations!
Now that you've gotten a good start.
Continue the search, from it do not part.
To find Skull #2.
All you need is to heed my clue.
Go to the place where you love to swim.
Though the water level may look dim.
Wade across from the shore.
And you'll find my twin there in store.
Reach the board from whence you spring like a fool.
Placed high a-top the place where you stay cool."

Follow the clues, solve them, and find the skulls which'll lead you to the Halloween treasure. So, any other guesses as to where Skull #2 might be hidden?"

I'll tell now the clue to find Skull #3.
Travel to the kitchen with knife and fork.
The one where you eat fish and pork.
Search among the mops and brooms.
Look all over in that room.
Find it quick before it droops.
And falls headfirst in the soup.
Ask the witch so she doesn't think you're a dork.
Go there now, Bork! Bork! Bork!"

Witch Hazel, in cackling voice: "Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Someone to try my recipes. Well, what's the matter? Don't like Eye of Newt? Then maybe you'd prefer some Brimstone Biscuits? How's about the special of the day, roasted ogre-burgers? No? Oh, you're here for the Skull Soup. Well, just look over there in my cauldron and see if it's there hun."

Another clue to search ever more.
All the harder for Skull #4.
Returned to its nest, has the word.
That you seek the bad black bird.
You'll have to do a bit of begging.
So that the bird doesn't leave you egging.
The bird's one like a desk meant for writting.
Though be careful of its beak bitting.
Ask the Eagle for a look in its room.
Where this feathered friend has left his plume.
There you'll find Skull #4.

Mokey, dressed for a good night's sleep comes down to Room #1.
Mokey: "Hmmm, still asleep and locked in his coffin. Well, at least he's in suspended animation so it's no big problem."
*Bella swoops in and gives Mokey an update on the scavenger hunt.
Mokey: "Ooooh, finally some drama. Well, I'm sure they'll work it out and Skull #4 will give his clue shortly."

Skull #5 (in female voice): "Congratulations.
You plucked me out of my bed.
Where musical tones of doom I was fed.
But now I'll tell you quick.
The clue you'll need for Skull #6.
Leave the dorms behind.
As the next skull you try to find.
Journey forth to the campus fair.
And look for the Student Center there.
In the basement offices of root.
Amidst the ashes and soot.
Breathe in the fire.
Before you decide to retire.
For this quest to go on.
You must brave the wrath of the demon.
Inside this fiery oven of stone.
You'll find the skull to own.
But if this clue doesn't make sense.
Then remember as you fumble through the incense.
Look for the Look for the home of our dorms' elevators.
So to the others you can say "See You Later!""

Rizzo:Yeah, well why they worry about the incense at that local fair, lets head down to the basement and beat the others to the punch. Hey why is Skull #3 chewing on me? And since when was Skull #3 purple... Uh oh!
Me:See you later Rizzo! Ahhhhhhhhh!

(Meanwhile, pardon me count from stealing your bit, the real Skull #3 still sits)
Skull #3:Well at least I'm no longer in that witches pot. (looks up at Sam) Hey what are you staring at baldy.

And just before I would've expired.
Now it's time for my tellin'
'Bout the location of Skull #7.
Move now to the science class.
Away from the machines and window glass.
You've got to think lightning fast.
And avoid the stormy blast.
The skull's there sitting like a queen.
Atop that confounded machine.
Think of what happens when the King of Counting counts.
No matter the item, no matter the amounts.
You must program this You must program this weather contraption.
To release its own electric distraction.
Only then, though you might know.
If you watched that MST3K show.
Atop the machinery is a clockwork heaven.
And fright inside, is Skull #7."

Skull #6: Uh, that's Skull #6. You say you've seen MST3K Kyle? Don't you remember the joke made towards the end of the movie Soultaker? Anyway, that's not part of the clue, it was just a small reference to make a rhyme. The important part is going to the science lab, finding the weather machine, and programming it as the clue suggests to find Skull #7. Hope you find it soon, and happy haunting."

Just go to the basement again.
Where your search will gain.
Yet another skull.
If you don't tary in a sleepy lull.
The insect's ilk.
Trapped the skull in a net of silk.
Stuck in the center of this threaded bed.
You'll find my fellow head.
For it now, a rescue await.
In the lair of bugs whose legs total eight.
Saley forth and don't be late.
Off to find Skull #8."

<Dr. Teeth and Floyd each carry flashlights,scissors and a knapsack>

Floyd: Looking back at what the skull said, we are trying to find a spider's thread.

Dr. Teeth: (shining the flashlight around the basement and spotting the skull in the center of the spider web,along with some spiders)

<Dr. Teeth uses a pair of scissors and cuts the skull lose from the web, Floyd grabs the skull & places it in the knapsack they brought>

Floyd: Good thing J isn't here with us,she's very arachnaphobic.

*Mokey moves aside with a small spider on her fingers.

So now to repay the favor.
A clue to find Skull #9 you'll savor.
The skull you seek, has a plan.
To make you work as hard as you can.
For it was feeling much maligned.
And in tune with her familiar feline.
Thankfully, you won't need to get to gritty.
It calls out just like a kitty.
In the shadowy valley.
Out back of the dorms, in the alley.
Search for the cat's call.
And you'll find a bin along the wall.
Think quick and think like a grouch.
To find the skull, and drop it in your pouch.
Just offer the black cats some milk.
And they'll purr as soft as silk.
While they meow and fuss.
Reach into the litter, take the skull away from the puss.
But I warn you to do your math.
And while you search don't cross their path.
For though Skull #9 you may pluck.
Me thinks you might be out of luck.
So use your brains and move on your feet.

Floyd: Boy,the hunt is getting kinda creepy,but we must persue to the alley in the back of the dorms. We need to take enough milk & bowls for a lot of cats(13 I'm thinking),and the skull is hidden inside one of the trash cans. Shall we go Dr. Teeth?

Dr. Teeth: Hey Count said we did our math wrong,I thought it meant lives too. I hope that it doesn't mean #9 times 9,that would be a lot of meowing going on. Uh oh,more milk and bowls,we have to go back to the store just in case that is the case.

<returning from the store>

<Dr. Teeth and Floyd grab plastic bowls, putting them in a big bag and the multi-gallons of milk and leave out to the back dorm alley>

Floyd: We're going to feed the kitties and then look for the right trash can.Dig?

Dr. Teeth: <putting out all of the bowls and filling each to the brim with milk>

*cats begin to scurry out from behind the trash cans and start lapping up the milk*

Floyd: Now's our chance. <They rumage through all of the trash cans,finding the #9 skull & tucking it away from the cats into their knapsack>

Dr. Teeth: I'm going to refill the bowls, just in case that wasn't enough for us to make a safe get away. Those cats will be well fed for awhile,that's for sure.

(they return to the dorm room for a quick shower)

Dee: Hey there it is.<pointing to it>

<they both walk over to the tombstone and place the penny on the tombstone & then throw a penny at the double crossed marked door>

*the tomb opens with a rumble,they turn on their flashlights*

Floyd: Okay,we're gonna see a bunch of bones,any-

*skeleton appears*

Dee: <mustering stregnth> Hi,Mr. Skeleton,I'm JaniceFerSure and this is my friend Floyd Pepper.Sorry to disturb you,but we're here looking for a #11 skull. Maybe if you'd like some candy,we'll give you the candy,in exchange for the skull? *Gives skeleton milk candy*

Skull #11: "Looks like I'll have to explain a little segment of the clue again. The mentioning of "waiting till the clock rings 12" or waiting till midnight is cause the grandfather clock's door was timed to open at the stroke of 12. But since it opened before time and you guys are down there in the dungeon searching for Skull #12, you should be able to find it easily. Just look for the part of the dungeon that might be locked. Again, that one might only open up at midnight, or you guys might get around that timing mechanism as well.
Anyway, good luck and hope you find the skull."

Floyd: Ah,that's better.Now batty bats are way up high in the rafters,so point your lights up not at the bats & count.

*Opens up refrigerated treasure chest to reveal a wonderous booty of Halloween treats.
Tell G-Man and Kyle to come and we'll dole out the treasure amongst everyone here. There's regular candies like M&M's, Milky Way morsels, Snicker bites which I affectionately call SnickerTreats, little bags of Tollhouse cookies, peppermint candies, and classic Starbursts.
There are also some other goodies like bat-cookies, number-cookies, fudge spiders, chocolate spider webs, chocolate lightningbolts, and spooky pumpkin pastries.
Come on in and I'll help you guys fill up your bags with the loot.

OK, now that everybody's here... wait a sec, Cookie Monster's here with Kyle and Grover and Herry.
Why's that important? Well, wasn't Cookie Monster the last one in the time machine? If he's here, then the time machine oughta be back in front of the grandfather clock where you guys left it.

Anyway, you see the grand Halloween goodies treasure here before you. Gonna fill up these bags and hand it to all of you, and the rest of the dormhouse boarders if they want any. OK, that'll be five baggies worth to G-Man and Rizzo and JFS and the band apiece, and three baggies full to Kyle and the Monsters. OK, take the baggies and fill them up accordingly, wanna make sure that you guys have first pick. Just remember to leave some for the rest of the dormhouse, so they can come in and have a nice post-Halloween treat.

*Opens door to dorm*

Ok what did I miss? A scavenger hunt? Aw darn! Oh well. I was busy getting my room set up. It's not easy setting up almost a full lab and it took quite a while. *wipes sweat off brow*

Here is my room descrpition:

When you first enter, you see a small sitting area with a loveseat and an ottoman placed before a TV set that is attached to an old fashioned bicycle.

On the far wall, is a large countertop that is covered with test tubes, mechanical parts and things that bubble and smoke incessantly. On the left wall hangs a fire extinguiser. The carpet was removed to be replaced with hardwood floors. On the right wall there hangs a bunch of diagrams and charts detailing projects that are in the process of being completed.

Machines fill the remainder of the room, some you can almost guess what they do, others you don't even want to know. The door on the right wall leads to the bedroom where a set of bunk beds is lined neatly up next to the main bed where I sleep. The closet is filled with lab coats and I have the dresser mainly to myself.

Me: Well now that is done, what is expected for November? Anything fun?

*Bunsen and Beaker look at each other*

:confused: Setting up the dorm wasn't fun?

But here's a sampler with a lot of little goodies from the hunt's treasure. Hope you like 'em.
As for activities here in the dorms... Well, tomorrow is Sesame Street's official 35th birthday. We could have a party for that. And then there's Thanksgiving in a couple of weeks. We could have a nice dinner for all the boarders here in the dorms.
Anyway, glad to see you again, and hope you have fun here in the dorms.

Oh yeah, now that you're settled in your room, don't forget to head on over to the pools for some added fun.

Who's in for another trip to Sesame Street tomorrow. Count has already said why this trip would be taken. Its SS b-day tomorrow.

Grover: Yea I Grover was going to send invataion to everyone but since its easy to just call a meeting and tell everyone.

All ya'll have to do is sign up at the front desk. That is if you want to go. I really don't know anything about the tranpreation so far but I was going to see if we could use the EM bus. Oh and everyone who wants to come can. So just because your not a SS character and all you know your all welcome. Just sign and then when tomorrow comes be ready. Sure, guess I could keep a nice little ledger of who's signed up for the trip. That is, if anyone besides us decides to go. Might send a bat of mine to ask JFS if she wants to go with the band, and if they can loan us their bus for the trip.
At least I'll be sure to R.I.P. tonight and be extra happy tomorrow while wearing my SS colors, seeing as how I finally finished that CD folder with my collection's photos.
So, here's hoping for a big turnout for tomorrow's trip to Sesame!

*Pushes past lobby doors, and then hallway doors. You see that big room in front of us with the big bay windows? That's the common room, there's one on each floor. And the neat thing is that the furnaces in the rear right corners hide a dumbwaiter elevator inside. Well, it's just a turn to the right... And it'll be the second door down on our right. The only other room that's occupied in this wing is the far corner room on the left, Kermit and Sam and McFraggle are there.

The public bus will pick us up to leave to Sesame Street today, 11/10/2004 at 11:00 AM EST. Hopefully, this will give everyone a chance to have some breakfast, get ready by bathing or washing and dressing appropriately for the trip. The dorm members mentioned above, along with Mokey and myself, will be going to Sesame Street for their 35th B-Day festivities today. If there's anyone else who's interested in going with us, be sure to be ready to leave by 10:30 AM EST, so we can get to the bus depot and leave on the public bus on time.

Well everyone after some hard work...

;) : Oh, sorry.
Anyway here is our room.

As you open the door you walk through a small hallway which on either side houses a closet. Scooter's closet is on the left has his old movie camera, every muppet home movie the muppets have, projection screen, his old computer from his baby days, and other muppet show odds and ends. My closet is basically full of a few clothes books, and boxes that I'll never get around to unpacking and not to mention the server system to all our high tech gadgets. Along the north wall is our bunk beds (Scooter occupies the top while I have the bottom) which are placed right beside the window. On the other side of the window is what we call the coffee corner ( ;) : because someone just had to bring their coffee supplies). It is basically a counter top with an opening underneath for a refrigerator. On the counter top holds a coffee grinder and an espresso machine with steam wand and hot water nozzle. Above this are shelves containing flavor syrups for the coffee. Now for the east wall. This is the location of Scooters desk and dresser. On his desk are his trusty clipboard and a newer computer. On the wall its self is a portrait of the entire muppet family with autographs of each person. Along the south wall is a couch, coffee table and a chair for sitting (these are also aligned along the corner opposite of the coffee corner.) Beside this are bookshelves with books) Now for the final wall, the west one. This locates my desk (I opted out of a dresser). On my desk are my computer, digtal camera, movie camera, video editing equipment, radio (with cd player of course), and other things. Above my desk is a bulleten boardIn the upper part of each corner of the room is speakers for surround sound (radio, video editing, etc.) Also on the floor is a large plush maroon and silver rug (In honor of my school colors).

Well folks there it is. Hope you enjoy it! Now that we're settled in we're looking forward to life here in the dorms!

As for me, I'm just gonna be walking around till I get to a nice quiet place and sit down to look at the lovely Numborgs my magical top hat can produce. Either that or go to the SS Library and do a bit of easy listening on the radio in their cubicles.

This should be "Me llamo Diana" or "Mi nombre es Diana".

And if you're asked how you're doing...
"Yo estoy muy bueno" as I am very good?
Should be "Todo va bien" or "Me siento bien" or "Me va bien".
Just a few pointers. Other than that I agree with Rosita, your Spanish is as the street would say, workable.

JFS: Boy won't they all be surprised on the festivities I and the band have planned to celebrate the Sesame Street 35th birthday here at the dorms. All of the common rooms are decorated in colorful SS colors,there's a nice big Happy 35th Birthday Sesame Street in the lobby and I've been cooking and baking number cookies,cakes(chocolate,vanilla,and coconut),and pies(apple,cherry,blueberry and pecan),spaghetti and meat sauce,veggies,rotiss. chicken,my special meatloaf,chili,baked potatoes,french fries,roasted potatoes and mashed potatoes with gravy. All in time before,the big Thankgiving dinner we'll have later in the week.:flirt:

Hey you guys. Was thinking that maybe we should have a nice celebration dinner back at the dorms. Then again, we can have a nice little lunch over at Charlie's and then head back to the dorms tonight.

We gotsa get back some time with enough time to start up the Thanksgiving preparations. So... let's meet at Charlie's for lunch, and then meet up with all of our new friends from Sesame Street for a sing-along in the park before heading home.
Sound good to you guys? LMK and we'll head on out as soon as everyone gets the message.

Herry: Mom says that Her, Dad, sis and Grandmother will be here.

Cookie M: Mother says she'll make her "Cookie dilights!" Can't wait.

Sorry we have to cut our visit short Ernie. Sure is a great place you have here, and it was nice to visit you here at Sesame Street again. Hope to see you back at the dorms.
Hey Kyle, Mokey and I will meet you back at the dorms later tonight. We're taking the bus back home, getting washed and dressed to go to the campus for an afternoon reading, and then we're heading to the supermarket to stock up on essentials for the T-Day meal.
Hope to see everyone in good spirits back at the dorms.

OK, think I'll start off with a small bowl of leftover oatmeal with raisins for breakfast.
Mokey: "Are you ready to go over the list Count?"
*Sitting down at the common room table. Sure am Mokey.

All right, we got...
1 Sac of potatoes to make mashed potatoes.
2 Two large roasting turkeys.
3 Jar of cranberry sauce.
4 Stuffing bread.
5 Can of almonds for the stuffing.
6 Celery, for the stuffing.
7 Chestnuts, for the stuffing.
8 Anis, a type of licquer for the stuffing, to be used lightly and just a few drops.
8 Turkey gibletswhich'll get processed in the osterizer for the stuffing.
9 Baby Carrots.
10 Green Beans.
11 Yams.
12 Black Beans, and other ingredients to make proper black beans side dish.
13 Ingredients to make cornbread, or already baked cornbread.
14 Apple pie.
15 Pumpkin pie.
16 Vanilla ice cream.
17 Ingredients to make a custardlike cream.
18 Chocolate to top the custard, as a sort of Boston Cream.
Mokey: "We got almost everything. Only things missing are the chestnuts and the items for the Boston Cream and cornbread."
OK, we can get those later today. Just hope there'll be room in the fridge for everything else. And we should take out our spices and start marinating the turkeys as of tonight so they'll have some flavor when they're cooked on T-Day.
Mokey: "Are you sure there's enough room?"
Well, we ate some of JFS's wonderful dinner last night when we got back to the dorms. The leftovers, if there are any, should be dispatched easily between here, the people at the pool, and the others at the bathtubs and/or hottubs.
Mokey: "All right, then we're good to go."
