Oy... It's crazy hectic around here, haven't had time for breakfast yet... That's next on the list of things to do.

And by the vay... Both Ed and I are so sorry, today's the Jabberwock's B-Day. Just lost track of time earlier this morning vhen reading and replying to all of our mail to make the announcement. But ve'll make it up to Nyssa's roommate, a party vill definitely be held on Friday for our friend.

Me: Alright guys I've gotta give you a synopsis of what's going down this weekend.
Clifford: Why? Nothin' special's happenin' this weekend. Or next week for that matter.
Gonzo: I mean, what could've happened on Monday October 23rd that makes it different from any other day of the year.

Yes... Of course there's a game! The pep rally was held at the town square, we're facing the Wizards from Hogwarts. They've learned a bit about our game of football, and we've learned a bit about their game of quittage. It's going to be a bit of a mix of both... The golden snitch won't be released, and there'll be an able-bodied flyer up on the broomstick guarding the goals on both sides, we managed to get Uncle Deadly as a guest referree. It'll be a bit of spooky fun, perfect training for next week's shindig.

Oh, and you simply have to try my favorite flavor... Transylvania Twist! It's orange and chocolate and vanilla all mixed into one with crunchy pecans added as well. Truly a great representative of I scream.

Bry: Great! Remember that call-back audition I had yesterday? Well, it went so well that I got a call today from the stage manager and I may have gotten the job.

Bry: Thanks! I'm excited but nervous. It's not for sure yet. I guess it's between me and some other person. They just wanted to get a feel of how interested I really am and what my availability is. I said that I was extremely interested and that it's something that is really important to me and my career. I also told them that I was completely open and available. I should be getting a call either later tonight or tomorrow from the director letting me know either way. We'll see!
Telly: What's the part again?
Bry: It's a musical for children that takes place somewhere a lot like Sesame Street, and the role I am being considered for is that of Mr. Sullivan, the store clerk.
Telly: Sounds like Alan.

Bry: Actually, he's very much like both.
Telly: I hope you get it!

Well... If you happen to have a hand handy...
You can just skip the nuts and use some sort of hard chewy candy. The original descript of the flavor when I first had it said it had candy corns, but I think that's more of a misnomer and were pecans instead.

And there's another flavor I've come to call Cryptic Skulls, as I've never found out what it's real name is. It's vanilla food colored in green and another batch of vanilla in a violet tinge with chocolate skulls. The chocolate skulls are dark chocolate orbs cut in half with a layer of white chocolate molded in the form of a skull showing the eyeholes and noseholes on top of the dark chocolate halved orbs.
Mmm, the memories. You can make the finger sandwiches if you want, sinly smoked sausages and fingerling potatoes are in the common room's fridge if you want to make them look like real fingers. Gonna go talk to Kathy to get the recipe for her famous devilled eggs, and whip up some witch's brew to go with the bat-burgers.

Ask & you shall receive the recipe for deviled eggs,Ed:) :

1 dozen eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon minced fresh tarragon
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
Dash of Tabasco

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover and remove from heat. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Drain the pan and fill with cold water. Peel the eggs when cool enough to handle. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks. Mix the yolks with the other ingredients. Spoon the mixture into the whites and serve.

Well, to be honest... There'll be a party later this evening celebrating our good friends Ryan (October 23), Betty Lou (October 24), and Robin the Frog (October 25).

Also, it's the start of the Halloween fun! There'll be freaky food and ghoulish games, it'll be a ghastly fright for all. And for those of you who've already got your costumes ready, congrats. For those who haven't, well, you can just let the magic of the season of the skull take you over.

*Dressed in Undertaker costume... The black low-brimmed hat encircled by a dark blood red hatband graces Ed's recently cropped hair, a few grizzles seen underneath. The rest of the costume is just tuxedo clothes: clean shirt, pants, dress socks and shoes, red cumberbund and white bowtie, gloves and jacket ushering all to come outside to the patio area where the booffet has been piled up with the entrees.

Mwahahahaha! Time to party here at the MC Dorms! And time to reveal the surprise for the Halloween season...
Welcome to the fright fair! Here on the table we have some spiderweb spaghetti, monster mashed potatoes, bat-burgers with blood ketchup, devilled yolksters, Dead Sea crackers with Black Lagoon fishpaste, turkey tentaclezini provided by Kim, and of corpse a delicious devil's food cake and some blood pudding. There are some blood sausages or voodoo chickenlings if you want a bone appetizer along with the black bat cherry soda Bryan brought from Hooper's.
As for the fair itself... Well, marvel at the booths we have this year.

The Scarris wheel is back, all the cabs connected to the main skull in the center. The nightmare trees in the background provide an autumnal feel, what with their darkened maple leaves and chill winds. There's a bone structured Test Your Strength machine and a jack o'lantern carving center... A couple of booths near the back with a balloon bursting skullbash game, a tombstone tipping game, and a ring toss onto the candle holders game all set up. There's even a food booth serving Frankenstein furters, ghost roasted popcorn, scaramel apples, phlegmonade, and the I-Scream chambers. This year's meant more for October fun with chills and thrills... Oh, and don't forget to stop by at the Bobbing for Poisoned Apples cauldron (apples covered with creamer forming skulls on the apple's skins) or if you dare... Take a tour through the dreaded haunted dormhouse!
*More evil laughter. Now where are those brave souls who have a deathday? Ah yes... Ryan, Robin, and Betty Lou... Gather near and we'll have Erin wield out the cakes.

Oh... So many fun ghoulish games here. One last game though, there's the Dunk the Junk, hit the target and the grouch gets sent into an icy cold vat of water below setting of a shroudy fogcover around the booth. That gives him time to get back up on his perch for the next player.
Mmm, and I think I hear some voices trailing through the cemetary harmonizing their haunting melody as they near our doomed domain.

Nora: I'm going to have to melt some more white chocolate, and I need to mix more icing for the irises. But what I've done so far looks really swell.
