Bry: I was actually pretty surprised by that. I was sure he'd do something rotten.

Nicole: *holding stomach* Ohhh, the pain! all that food!
Janice: I like told you not to eat to many sweets, fer sure.
Nicole: Well how can I help it? Easter is like the food holiday.
Floyd: Naw, that's Thanksgiving.
Nicole: Then the candy holiday.
Janice: That's Halloween.
Nicole: The Christ holiday?
Floyd: Christmas.
Nicole: So Easter is a little bit of everything. *looks down at Zoot laying on the floor* What are you doing?
Floyd: He's just looking at this fudge spider we got in the basket from Ed and his entourage.
Zoot: No Man, it's real... I saw it move
Floyd: *shakes head* We also got some egg shaped sesame seed chocolate chip cookies from Bry and friends.
Nicole: That's a mouthful.
Janice: The cookie or the name?
Nicole: *laughs* Both!
Janice: Fer sure
Floyd: And we got an Easter basket from Baba and crew.
Janice: But you know, since you have a stomach ache.... we could like eat it all.....
Nicole: Hey wait! There's a difference between a stomach ache, and a stomach ache when there's goodies around.

Well... Don't forget there were some other goodies in the bundles I left. But if you don't like the fudge things... You can always put them in storage in the fridge... Some of us will devour them eventually.
Hope everything's OK... Been quiet up there, thought your neighbors and you would get together for a few jams by now.

*They all scurry off to go find some protective gear, while Sara keeps on flaming the peeps to obvilion.*

*A loud boom is heard from Room 22.*

Sara: Wow....shouldn't mix donkey to cow...I mean rubbing alcohol to certain purfumes and a lighter...*blinks face a little bit, then blows out the flames.* Got some gun cotton made. Perfect... *chuckling evilly.*

Scooter: *Standing in the hall, looking inside.* What happened in here?

Sara: I'm helping a friend make a hybrid rocket! Like from Mythbusters. He's doing it for his class at USC, and I made some gun cotton for him. It's a historical rocket too. *Hefts a bucket of gun cotton down the hall, the smell of petrol and burned-off purfumes waft throughout the entire house. Kind of a weird sickly sweet burnt smell.*

[Smiles]

Nicole: There room is right next to ours?...well...uh...one is a few... sort of... thats what I meant... um ... right guys?
All: *nodding* yeah, yeah...sure

[The Count]

No worries... Most of the residents here sometimes get confuzzled with the whereabouts of each other's rooms in relation to their own, and the floor plans. Just go on and hold an impromptu concert with your own bandmates if you want. Maybe Matthew will get back and see the message you left for him and his roomies to join the jam.

Big Bird: (to his teddy bear) Come on, Radar. Help me look.
Bry: Big Bird, have you been looking for that egg all night?
Big Bird: I've just gotta find it, Bryan. It was right here by my nest since last Thursday when i painted it in Birdkateers and now it's gone.
Rosita: It was such a pretty egg too.

Sara: *Comes back inside the dorms, her hair is on end, her pants have a huge rip in them, and she muddied and dirtied all over. Her shirt has a burned spot on one of the shoulders, and one of her sneakers looks like it melted to something then was ripped up once more, it's almost flat on the bottom, while the other one still had tread on it.* Wow.... *She walks into the main room and sits down on the couch. She smells strongly of gunpowder, burnt rubber, and dirt.*

Scooter: What happened to you...?

Sara: *Turns towards him, and has a goofy smile on her face, then she adjusts her glasses.* ...The rocket was a sucess, Scooter.

Scooter: Wow! How far did it go?

Sara: Only about 100 yards. Not that far. But...it FLEW.

Jim: Great job! Why do you smell like the rocket does though?

Sara: Had to dig it out of the ground. It was like Jamie's 20 pounder, although it was only about 10 pounds. But it went SO deep into the ground I had to literally dig down with a shovel to get it out. So, I got covered in dirt.

Jerry: What about your shoe?

Sara: Oh, I accidently stepped on the landing pad to quickly. Didn't get hurt, but it melted my shoe a little.

Frank: And your...shirt and pants?

Sara: Pants...got into a fun fight with a friend, he took it a bit too far, ended up becoming a fist fight over how much gun cotton. My shirt...I'm honestly not sure.

Scooter: Sounds like a great day then...*has a wary smile on his face.* I'm gonna go find you some clean clothes. And....you should probably take a shower too.

Sara: What? I stink?

Scooter: Sorry to say it, but....You do.

Sara: Okay then. *Gets the clean clothes and a towel, and goes to take a shower in the bathroom.*

Telly: (looks under Grover's bed and spots an orange Fraggle pebble, probably the one Robin gave him for Christmas) Hey, look at this! I found an egg! Atleast I think it's an egg. It's kinda rough. Not very smooth.

Hoots: (perched on a lamp post outside away from the smoke) Man, I haven't seen the dormhouse smoke this much since our New Years Eve gig!


Bry: (finds Big Bird in the basement) Big Bird! What happened?
Big Bird: I was just knocking on Prairie's door and heard a loud explosion! Eggs can't explode, can they?
Bry: Not unless they're in Gonzo's room. Come on, let's go upstairs with the others.

(we go upstairs)


Rosita: Thanks for the help, Ed!
Telly: (spots Big Bird coming up) Big Bird!
Rosita: You okay?
Big Bird: Yeah, I'm fine. I was just looking for my egg. We still have to look over something.

Sara: Sorry, Ed. *Lights two more firecrackers and throws them delicately out the window. They hit empty pavement, and crackle loudly outside then.* That's the last of the big bangers. I've still got rockets and roman candles, but I'll save those for the holiday so loved by Sam the Eagle. :)

They both dive behind the armchairs each with a basket of Easter goodies. If they need to stay in their bomb shelters for a while they'll need something to nourish themselves

Martin: It's moments like this Bill when you need to pray like mad.

Bill: You don't have to tell me that twice. But if it's anything like Crazy Harry's muppet explosions they're are frightening but at least not majorly dangerous thank goodness.

Martin: Yes that is something to be thankful for Bill. So true.

That's OK Sara... Hopefully there wasn't too much damage, and the guys from down at the construction site offices can repair it. Me thinks all that's needed is to wash the powder marks off, but it'd be better to consult just to make sure it's all OK.
Hope the guys find Big Bird's egg though.

After 3 minutes Martin carefully crawls on his hands and knees and puts his ear to the door

Bry: Oh right. Just to keep everyone updated, Big Bird had this large painted Easter egg that he named "Melvin". Well, on Sunday during the Easter egg hunt festivities Oscar hid Big Bird's egg. We've spent all yesterday and today looking for this thing.
Snuffy: Sherlock Hemlock came by, but was unable to help us.
Rosita: But we've had the help of Kyle, Grover, Herry and Cookie Monster!
Telly: And Oscar gave us 4 clues: It is on the 2nd floor, it is under something, it is over something, and it is inside something! I hope we find it soon. I am going bananas!

Telly: Oscar, that's Big Bird's egg! I found it! I found it!!

Bry: What's going on, Telly? We heard you calling.
Telly: Look what I found!
Big Bird: Melvin!!
Telly: Oscar had it this whole time in his can!
Big Bird: (takes plate with the egg between bread slices) Oh how I missed you. Wait a minute...Why does this look like a sandwich?
Oscar: So I thought I would hide it in a sandwich.
Bry: Hey, I see! All the clues make sense.
Big Bird: Huh?
Bry: Yeah, look! (takes plate from Bird) Well, of course the first clue is clear and that is that the egg was on the second floor. But the second clue was that it is under something. And you can see that the egg is under this slice of wheat bread. The third clue was that it is over something. It is over this slice of bread (points to bottom slice). Then of course Oscar's last clue was that the egg was inside something.
Telly: And it was in Oscar's can!
Bry: That's right!
Oscar: Yeah yeah. You got me. You solved the puzzle.
Telly: Wait a second, Oscar...you were going to feed Big Bird's egg to your pig Spot!
Oscar: Uuuuhh...no I wasn't! I was uuuuh...just keeping the thing warm for you. Yeah, that's it!
Hoots: Yeah, right!
(the large egg starts to move a little)
Bry: What the...?
Rosita: What is happening to the egg?
Big Bird: What's going on?
Bry: I think...I think there's something in there!
Telly: Whaaat?
(the egg shell starts to crack and soon we see a small purple ball of fur with yellow horns and squishy nose)
Big Bird: Is that what I think it is?
Bry: I think there is only one true way to find out. (takes fingers and gently pinches the creatures nose which make a tiny squeek noise) It's a baby honker!
Big Bird: A baby Honker? A baby Honker came out of that egg!?
Bry: Yep!
Rosita: How adorable!
Telly: How did it get here? Does it have parents?
Bry: That's a good question, Telly.
Big Bird: Can we adopt him?
Bry: Well, it's okay with me until we find its real mom and dad, but I think it's really up to Ed. We'll ask him later.
Big Bird: Oh wow. (takes little Honker in his wings) Welcome to the world, little Melvin Honker. You will love it!
Telly: And to think Oscar took care of him.
Oscar: Huh?
Big Bird: That's right, Oscar. You kept the egg safe and gave it a warm place to hatch.
Oscar: I did?
Big Bird: Uh huh! And because of that, I am going to make you Melvin's God father! Come on, Melvin. Let us show you your new home! Bye Oscar! (goes back to room 29 and I follow)
Rosita: Congratulations, Oscar! (kisses Oscar on the cheek and leaves)
Oscar: Blech! (wipes face)
Telly: Yeah, you are such a nice guy, Oscar! (follows behind Rosita and Hoots)
Oscar: What?! (calls after them) I am NOT a nice guy!! I was just making a sandwich!!!...(groans).

Snuffy: Wow, Bird! I can't believe there was this little Honker in that big egg this whole time!
Big Bird: I know. Isn't he cute?

Telly: Hey, guys! Look what I found! Two more eggs. We must have missed them when we had our hunt on Sunday. I wonder what's inside. (shakes the two small plastic eggs)
Snuffy: Maybe it's another Honker.
Bry: Why don't we open them up and find out.
Telly: Okay. (opens the orange egg)
Rosita: What is it?
Telly: (looks inside) The Number of the Day! (a 4 flies out of the egg)
Snuffy: The number 4.
Telly: Cool! Can't wait to see what is in the other egg. (opens it up and the letter M flies out) The letter M!

Bill and Martin have heard about the story with Oscar having the egg inside a sandwich inside his can on the second floor from last night. They've agreed to give Oscar a bit of a surprise partly in honourable recognition of him being appointed God father of the newly hatched baby honker but also partly as a gentle rebuke for being about to feed Big Bird's egg to his pet pig.

So they silently creep up to his trashcan and quickly flip open the lid.
Bill sticks his head inside and Martin leans over with his bubble wand and together they blow as hard as they can. Then they call out together Surprise! And congratulations new God father Oscar!

Then they run off to knock on Bry's door to see Melvin and congratulate Big Bird and the rest of them with some more bubbles.

I've a funny feeling Oscar did not enjoy his share of bubbles though. Heh-heh

It was Kevin, our connection to MC's ruling presidency, who said that Muppet Babies or baby Muppets shouldn't be roommates... They're babies, what would they be doing in college anyway?
However, if Bryan wants to look after it, possibly get a new baby-sitting job out of it... That'd have to be a decision for Melvin's parents to make once they've been told about the situation.

Um Kyle... Mayhaps it'd be better if Snuffy stayed in his cave room in Room #29? That way you wouldn't have to squeeze him into your own room, and you could check up on him regularly while Bryan's away. Just seems easier that way, only a suggestion though. Oh, and Birdketeer meetings are held on Thursdays for the most part... Unless BB decides to hold them on some other day, but that's rully up to him.

Martin: Um well the booklet doesn't mention his death. But he was born way back towards the beginning of the 1900's so if he hasn't passed away in the meantime he'll be a very old man indeed.

Martin: Well it says that he himself added the name George before his first name because when he first sang on radio broadcasts people were confused by a man named Beverley.

Emmet decided in the end he'd feel comfortable in his familiar bed so Martin and Bill wished him good night and said they'd see him sometime tomorrow. Perhaps he might even like to go to the special screening in the common room and Emmet says that sounds great.
Since enough time has passed in sympathy for the immediate reason for Ally's time away they say good night with bubbles. However not to deny how solemn it still is never the less they only get Bill to blow out of his head once very gently. Martin doesn't use his bubble wand at all. Martin says to think of these small bubbles as dedicated to the memory of Ally's Great Aunt and they watch them pop one by one in silence. Then Emmet says good night and leaves then Bill and Martin get ready for bed too.

Sorry to get your hopes up Sara... Turns out I can only get the trailers before the disc gets stuck on some continuous looping musical bit that's not even part of the movie. That's kinda why DVD's aren't rully my favorite means of video viewing... VCD's work much better, especially when there's no trailers or extra features to get in the way.
Maybe if my brother comes, or my sister, I can get the thing to work the way it shoulds.
