Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

*Chuckling... You're welcome. You know, that's hexactly why it struck me as odd when they said one of the activities at the Cookie Day festivity in one of these small towns in Wisconsin. It's called the Cookie Drop, where kids run around trying to catch as many cookies as they can dropped from a toy Cookie Monster. And as I heard that I thought... "Wait a second! Why me throwing cookies away? Me want cookies!"

Oh well... Hope he and Diana like them... There were some mamuls (ones round with dates, little peaked ones with walnuts, and ones long with pistachios), a few mooncakes, some Tollhouse chocolate chips, some Oreos, biscotties, shortbread butter cookies, oatmeal raisins, peanut butters, white chocolate chunks, macadamia nut cookies, and a few fudge cookies. Oh, and there was a special cookie, glad I kept those to give you personally Kyle.
*Hands cookie with edible images of his monster roommates. There's this place in California that can take whatever picture/photo you give them, put it in a computer, and turn it into an image on the cookie with edible ink.

Yes... You have to choose which of the remaining numbered rooms you want. Can't very well you add to the register if I don't know where to put you...
And yes, you can have more than one roommate... Just choose them wisely, maybe characters who go well together like bandmates or duos or stuff like that.

*Leads new boarders past two sets of double doors, and into the 2nd Floor's main hallway. Just have to come into the common room. Oscar's in his trashcan there in the back left corner. This Old World furnace in the back right corner is what we want. You see, there's one on every floor's common room, as it hides a dumbwaiter elevator we use to get from floor to floor.
*They get inside and ride up one floor. OK, now then... Just a turn to our left, and it should be... Yes, last door down on our left.
*Hands key to Dr. Teeth. Glad you're back here at the dorms... Let's see... You've got Nicole with Floyd, Janice and Zoot in Room #34 to your right; Harvey Towers and Johnny Fiama and Sal Manilla in Room #32 to the right of them... Then in the other hallway on this floor there's Kate with Gobo, Wembley and Lou Fraggle in Room #38; BJ with Wilkins and Wontkins in Room #39; Docnzhoss and Link Hogthrob in Room #41, though we haven't heard from them in a long while; and Diana with Sweetums and Behemoth in Room #44. Also, this floor's bathrooms are the last door down on your left in the other hallway, across from Diana's room.

Remember to post a descript of what your room looks like according to your tastes and those of your roommates... And please remember to send me a PM with the design ideas for a dorm members' robe for each member in your party.

Martin: It's about time we did some more Bible reading Bill
Bill: I'm really very keen on serving Jesus Martin. But tell me why do we have to read all this boring Old Testament? Some parts of it are exciting but other parts are putting me to sleep. Can't we just read the New Testament? After all we're not under the Old Testament are we?
Martin: It's true Bill that we don't have to follow the Old laws of sacrificing that Moses gave to the people of Israel because Christ is the final sacrifice that the Law pointed to. But we need to read the Old scriptures so that we can fully understand and appreciate why Christ came to fulfill all the prophecies given about Himself within these writings.

Martin: The Old Testament foretells everything about Christ revealed in the New Testament and how He was born of the Jewish race and died and rose again to unite His people The Jews in love with all other nations.
Bill: Okay Martin. Some of it is hard to understand but if God can love even a muppet like me I'll try to read it and ask for His help.

Hey Bry... Seeing as how I know you're a Sesame Seed at heart... There may not have been that many pranks here in the dorms, but there were a few over in the SS section of the forums. One that was an obvious prank that fizzled out about Palisades making FR and SS figures, another that was patently obvious about David and Olivia coming back in Season 37... Daffyfan even got the episode numbering wrong... Then there was ssetta's Ashley Simpson segment in Season 37 prank... But the best one of all, though I was prepared for it to say "it's not happening, April Fool's!" was the Sesame Street Treasures thread.

Hmmm, think I'll sneak up to Room #44 and leave this basket with some goodies for Diana as her B-Day present. Hope CM doesn't get to them, baked a whole lot of different ones I learned about from that Food Network special.
Guess I'd better leave a basket outside of Room #26's door to ensure CM doesn't go after Diana's basket.

Well... MuppetMatt... That you "could" have him, yes you "could" since he's still available for roommate status. However, I'd advise you think about it, since you've already got a good team of rommates what with the other members of the Electric Mayhem.

Uh, perhaps you misunderstood... What I mean to say is that since you've already got the Electric Mayhem as roommates, it kinda feels that any other roomie you should choose to have, if available of course, might not be a perfect fit. Now admittedly, there are groups of roommates that don't necessarily fit all together as an already-associated Muppet group... But sticking to the members of a group, so long as those are the characters you want as roommates, if available once again, would be the best choices to make for roommates when joining the dorms.

Hope this helps explain things a bit better... And I look forward to whatever room design you post, and dorm member robe ideas you send me.

Little Bird has a lavender-bodied robe, with soft pink sleeves. The robe features softened pink trimming, white hearts across the sleeves and the body of the robe itself, and all the lowercase letters of the alphabet in black writing in each of the hearts.

Uh Peter... Birdketeer meetings are generally held on Thursday afternoons, though you might want to check with Bryan and Big Bird to see if there'll be any special meetings on any other days of the week.

Normally, if it were a VCD from Justin, I could... Problem is, this seems to have the annoying TMS intro music glitch. Annoying, in that it just keeps repeating. Kind of an extra feature that's rully not that extra, that kicks in as a second option when I press Play. And of course, my blind batty eyes don't help any when trying to get it unstuck like that.

*Sits in chair thinking... Well... I'd say the first thing you need is the piece or event that'll connect Forgotten Wishes with Remembering The Good Times. Then... After you have that connector piece/event to end the 2nd story and link it to the 3rd... All you would need would be some connection with the story's current location and that final event to bring it into the moonlight of Remembering The Good Times.

Yes... Jim and Richard were dear fiends... And Jerry as well, he does such wonderful voices.
Hmmm... Not sure, mayhaps start to bridge the gap by bringing in Scooter's familial relations? Explain a bit who Richard truly was to him... To get him to think of those wobegon days when he and his sister were still together in the nursery, heard stories about those days from the rest... To get him to think of his long-gone family.
Maybe that way it could flow into those most unfortunate events I had to die and live through again in death... Connecting to the memories I have of how I lost Eleanor, and why it was so important to find her again?
Just some humble suggestions, I'm sure you'll come up with something frightfully delicious my dear.

*Takes key for Room #33 and ushers the newst boarders past the sets of double doors. OK, just gotta get past these... There's a rainbow-colored spiral staircase there to your right, it'll be changed when we remodel for the anniversary in September. Just past the second set of double doors we have the second floor or main floor's hallway with rooms to both sides. That's the common room, the big room in front of us. Each floor has one with different-styled carpeting... That might change too, at least to get it consistent for the future residents.
Oscar's got his trashcan in the back left corner, got back late from his date with Grungetta, probably sleeping in. The Old World furnace in the back right corner is how we get from floor to floor, it hides a dumbwaiter elevator inside.
*All ride inside up one floor... OK, now a quick turn to our left... And your room's the second one on our right.
*Hands key to Mahna Mahna. Rully great to have you back in the dorms. You've got quite some neighbors here... Harvey Towers' with Johnny Fiama and Sal Manilla in Room #32 across from yours, and the Electric Mayhem's split into two groups of three each with Nicole and Matthew in Rooms #34 and 36. This floor's bathrooms are the last door down on your left in the opposite hallway, across from Diana's room, #44. Please remember to post a descript of your room layout here, according to your own tastes and your roommates' tastes.

you walk in our door and there is tiles in the entry way then you have the lounge room with surround thenturn right to 3 doors the left georges and my room split in 3 my side has puppet and puppet stands as i develop them and kermit quilt on geoges side he has a ragmop doll on his bed its a white dooner and a mop and bucket at his bed base and janitor clothes on a rack muppet movie posters are on the walls manamanah has his bell and a small bed with monkey toys in his cupboard are 30 green shag fur clothes and 10 purple suits back out and the door on the other side is the snowths and hildas room its split 3 ways there is pink on one side and rainbow on the other hildas side is rainbow and she has a sewing macine materials and a dress makers dummy with our robes on it,on the pink side there are two beds a crate were the snowths put their clothes and monty python posters on th walls the third door is the cupboard were everyone puts their stuff

Was just wondering if I could get a list (if there is one) of the Dorm staff. I know that Pops works the lobby desk sometimes and George does the maitenence/cleaning. Also Grover does postal work and the Doozers assist Biff and Sully with maitenence and building too. Any other familiar faces actually have jobs, even if part time, around here? Does Benny Rabbit do any bellhop work around here and I haven't "seen" him? We should have a staff roster somewhere. Telly was asking about room service. I know, he's a silly monster.

Bry: Well, Ed, if you are asking for other types of time "symbols" you could consider a sun dial or simply something to do with the sun and moon. I know that sun/moon thing sounds pretty hippie-ish. Mechanical roosters? Makes sense, since my talking watch has an alarm call imitating a rooster's crowing. Course, I have it set to the musical snooze feature, with one of the interludes the watch has programmed into it, usually Green Sleeves or the Godfather theme.

Sara: Oh...AWESOME!! I know exactly what to do with these things!! *Pulls out a small can of sterno, and gets a Peep and puts it over the flame.* Yummy...

Scooter: What on Earth...? *Watches the flaming sugary Peep on the end of the stick.*

Sara: *Blows out the flames, and cools it off. It shrinks a little, and then she bites it in half* Yum. You should try this! Or...or put them in the microwave! They expand nearly 8 times it's regular size! And you can spread it on toast, and make sugary marshmallow Peeps fluff for breakfast!

Jerry: I never realized she was such a....

Jim: Crazy person?

Frank: She's up there with Gonzo I think.

Sara: Not so. Only around Easter, when I get the 5 day sugar high.

Scooter: 5...day sugar high?

Sara: Yep. Even though my parents don't "make" me an Easter basket anymore, I still get bags of candy. Enough to keep me hopping crazy on sugar for almost a whole week!!

Scooter: I...think I'm going to go and see how the moviehouse is doing.

Jim: I'll go help him.

*Scooter, and the Country Trio all go to the moviehouse, at least for a few hours. During those few hours, Sara is messing around with Peeps in all ways possible. Doing torture experiments on the poor sugar confections, and blasting them with fire, freezing them, melting them, and watching them expand in the microwave just until they almost touch the sides of it.*

Big Bird: When it was raining on Thursday we read some stories inside, but then we decided to paint eggs for Easter. This is mine! (holds up a large colorfully painted egg, about the size of a large cantelope)

Bry: Where'd you get an egg that size?
Big Bird: Well, when I brought out the eggs for us to color, I noticed one was rotten. So I took the bad egg and gave it to Oscar.
Snuffy: But then you were short by one good egg.
Big Bird: Right, but then I found this huge egg behind a crate in the corner of the common room. So I thought, perfect! Just the right size for a big bird! Then I colored it.
Snuffy: It looks good, Bird.
Big Bird: Thanks, Snuffy. Mokey Fraggle gave me some tips. She is very artistic. I am just going to keep it over here in this shoe box by my nest so it doesn't get ruined.
Bry: Gosh, I've just never seen an egg that size before.
Telly: (sarcastic) Oh, but seeing an eight foot tall bird is a common occurance.
