Heh... Isn't that always the way Kath?
My mom makes a good bangers and mash herself... One of my maternal grandfather's fave dishes. Though I'd like to try some more Scottish fare... Namely, a plate of haggas and a bowl of blood pudding for dessert.
Just have a good time with your family, and hope Irish eyes are smilin' on ye.

Jim: I guess you're not going to make irish dinner, like your Grandmother makes then?
Renee: Of course I am! Outta my way guys, I'm taking over the kitchen!! *She bounds into the kitchen, and starts making potato soup, with steamed cabbage, and irish soda bread, filled with dates and nuts, and lots of fruits. The Traditional Louvier irish dinner.*

Uh Kyle... Not bad, but something to point out... The singers for that song were two piglike female AM's, known as The Androoze Sisters. The singing group with three pigs is known as The Oinker Sisters, who recorded "A New Way To Walk" and "Barnyard Alphabet".
Hope this helps. Hmmm, seems the cole slaw and shepherd's pie was devoured by my roomies... Good meal.
Think I'll cap some 40 winks, maybe catch some real gold past the rainbow in me dreams.

Rosita: Yeah, Disneyland is soo much fun. I have presents for everyone here at the dorms. I can't wait to give them to our friends!

Bill and I have watched the first tape of Muppets Tonight.
Martin: This is very good Bill. It's a shame this show was so short-lived.
Bill: Yes I was disappointed Martin. I so enjoyed being on the show. Except for that time I told you about when Carl ate me of course.
But I can laugh about it now. He really didn't mean anything nasty.
We both chuckle
Bill: He wasn't really a bad man Carl. He had a good sense of humour.
Martin: I can see that. I hope he didn't scare those animals too much when he swallowed them in that game show Swift Wits.
Bill: Some of them did get a bit of a fright. But when he took them out of his mouth offscreen we gave them some little consolation prize for being part of the running gag of nobody ever winning the show.
Martin: How did you get along with Bob who could make raisins come out of his ears?
Bill: He was a nice enough chap. I still get in touch with him from time to time. But he was unable to secure a regular place on the show. Everybody preferred my beautiful bubbles to his raisins.
Martin: I can understand why Bill. It's fun to watch bubbles floating through the air. But raisins would just fall on the floor. Unless you liked eating raisins you'd have no appeal for that act.
Bill: Actually Martin you wouldn't have wanted to eat Bob's raisins. They were coated in earwax.
We both have another laugh and then get ready to have something to eat.

All you need to do is check the current copy of the dorms register against my Muppet Listings 15.0 thread in the Classic Muppets section of the forums, and make a short list of the characters available who you would want as your ideal MC Dorms roommate. Martin and Bill are fast asleep to.
Actually Martin had trouble going to sleep but from his own bed he lay and watched Bill in his bed blow bubbles one at a time very gently as he slept.
Martin dozed off while he counted Bill's bubbles. They are much better than trying to count imaginary sheep when you can't sleep. Much more enjoyable and relaxing
Well it's goodnight from them. See you all in the morning.

*Travels downstairs from 4th Floor to 3rd Floor, to Room #44 and leaves all robes on the hook near the door.
Diana has a sunny yellow bodied robe, with clear brown sleeves. The robe features clear brown trimming, dark silver notes across the sleeves and silver streaks down their sides, four silver tambourine medals hanging onto the corner pockets of the robe, and small white guitars along the edges of the robe's body.
Sweetums has a magenta-bodied robe, with oak brown sleeves. The robe features oaken brown trimming, darkened brown vertical stripes across the back, a few psychadelic swirls of magenta upon the sleeves, and a Muppet Show logo buckle closing its waistline.
Behemoth has a heather green robe, with stone gray sleeves. The robe features stone gray trimming, an upper chest pocket for keeping whatever small critter he catches, plaid patterns upon the sleeves, and some monster food items like a cup of bat's milk tea with the wings sprouting from the cup, a tarantula legs sandwich, a gooey cheesed pizza, and some blood sausage links sprawled through the robe's body.

Martin: Yes and the pretty pink bubbles really set them off. And what a good idea they had to put a different little picture on the chest area so we won't get them mixed up. I love the Muppets Tonight Logo.
Bill: Yeah. And what a cool idea to use a picture of my mother for mine. And what's this? A pocket? gasps
Martin: I have a pocket too Bill. It's a bottle of solution for blowing bubbles and a wand to blow them with. How fabulous.
Bill: And I have a bottle of my own and a drinking straw. How very kind.
Martin dips his wand into his bottle and Bill takes a big gulp of his solution.
Martin: Ready Bill? a 1 a 2 and a 3.
We both blow at the same time and laugh together with immense joy.

Lisa: I know, it's about eleven chapters past where you usually come in in my stories. I hope you don't mind, it's just- You happen to play a very essential role that sort of requires you to be- well- late.
Robin: Oh. That's okay.

And nice to see you back here Animal Jam, though you might want to make a few different picks. Not that I'm discouraging you from the ones you've got as first selections... Let's just say that it'd make better sense if your pickss, if multiple characters, should be ones that go well together.
For example, if you still want Aladdin from SS, then maybe you could pck The Genie of the Toothpaste also.
Or, if you take Ace Yu, then other good choices to compliment him would be Colleen Barker and/or Bubba the Bartender.
Just a few suggestions.

*Hands key to Ace Yu. OK, the floor's bathrooms are the last door down on your left here in this wing, the laundry room's the last door down on your right in the opposite direction in the other wing on this floor. You've got Martin and Bill the Bubble Guy from MT as neighbors to your left, and tutter_fan with Bunsen and Beaker across from your room, and Ally and Emmet Otter diagonally across from your room to the right. My room's #1, first door down on your left in the other wing on this floor. Knock ior leave a note if you need anything. Aaron or some bats will be by with your luggage soon. Hi Smiles... At the moment, all six members of the Electric Mayhem are available for roommate status. As for the room... Since Diana was originally up in Room #33 with three band members, my intentions were to keep all of them, no matter who ended up rooming with Animal and Janice and/or Lips in the group of 30-numbered rooms. However, since they're available... Up to you if you want Room #20 or one of the vacated 30-numbered rooms.
LMK your decision and I'll get you settled in ASAP.

Animal Jam has a darkened cherry red-bodied robe, with ash black sleeves. The robe features ash black trimming, a pattern of whitened electric bolts across the sleeves, a leadened ironlike tail attached to the robe's rear waistline, and a bright yellow image of Pikachu across the back.
Ace Yu has a grassy green-bodied robe, with lightly blackened sleeves. The robe features lightly blackened trimming, an inner pocket for toting Quackers his toy duckie, a pattern of white bones splashed over the sleeves, and the image of a steaming bowl of rice across the back.
Colleen Barker has a dawning yellow-bodied robe, with misty gray sleeves. The robe features misty gray trimming, a cascading raindrop effect streaming down the sleeves, her tourist camera strapped beneath the robe's folded collar, and the image of the Statue of Liberty across the back.

Renee: *Makes a motion for pen and paper, then mouths to him.* [I can't speak!!]
Scooter: Oh, no. *hands her pen and paper quickly.* What's wrong?
Renee: *is writing* [I just woke up, and I can't speak! Something's wrong!! I don't know what though...]
Scooter: *reads it* Maybe we should take a look really quick.. *Grabs a flashlight, and peers into Renee's mouth and sees her tonsils are twice their normal size.* Woah! No wonder you can't speak....your tonsils are huge!
Renee: *Gives him a sour look, then sets the paper down and decides to use sign language, it's easier.* [Great. If they dont' go down, I'll have to get them taken out. Doc said if this happened again, I'd have to have them out....this is just wonderful!!]
Scooter: That's not good at all. We should wake up the guys and tell them too. That must hurt, Renee..
Renee: [It hurts like fire, Scooter! Yes, tell the guys, they'd want to know, that I can't sing tonight...]
Scooter: *Wakes up Jim, Jerry, and Frank.* Hey guys, Renee can't speak, we're going to have to reschulde our concert.
Jim: Well, just get some rest then, Renee. :) That's perfectly fine, we don't mind it all, right Jerry? Frank?
Jerry: It'll be good to get some rest as well. I'll go get everyone some cocoa, that sounds good?

Frank: We need some more time to practice anyways. *Pulls out his cello, and tunes it up some, while Jerry and Scooter go to get some breakfast and cocoa for all of them.*
Renee: [You guys are so sweet...I feel bad now.]
Jim: Why do you feel bad about us being sweet?
Renee: [I don't know. I feel like a burden to you guys.]
Jim: Well, you're not. *Pulls out his banjo, and starts to tune it as well, smiling.* Can you still play your sax?
Renee: *Smiles, and pulls her sax out, and coughs a few times. She brings it up, and starts to play a short melody. She can't speak, but she can sure play still.*
*The two of them start to play a short duet, happy and jaunty, while relaxing in the room.*

Martin: Ah yes. I've seen how much fun you have shooting off your bubbles in the shower curtained area while I've been using the toilet or shaving while you shower. And I think it's so cute Bill (laughs)
Bill laughs with me then heads off to freshen up.
Martin decides to sit down and read some scripture. He knows he needs to read a little bit of the Bible every day. He's pleased that Bill has been looking at parts of the Gospels and the Psalms.
The Lord has room in his loving heart even for a muppet. LOL:D

Yeah Martin... A wild and crazy game with its tense moments. But we got the win in OT with five of Washington's players fouling out.

*Reaches for key from marble 34 on the lobby's back wall. OK, past these double doors, two sets, and we're in the main hallway. The common room's in front of us, seems Oscar's shut down inside his can there in the back left corner. Guess the song didn't help him feel grouchily happy. OK, into the dumbwaiter elevator we go.
*All get into the dumbwaiter elevator inside the Old World furnace.
Ah here we are up on the third floor. Now then a turn to our left and it should be... Third door down on our left. *Hands key to Floyd. Your neighbors are Harvey Towers and Johnny Fiama and Sal Manilla in Room #32 to your right. This floor's bathrooms are the last door down on your left in the opposite direction in the other hallway. Remember to post a descript of what your room layout looks like according to your and your roomies tastes, and when you get the chance send me a message with the design ideas for dorm members' robes for each member in your party.

UD: Felt the hype didn't do it justice, not enough demons for my liking.
Count: Yes... But you have to admit, there vere plenty of wolves in it.
Yeah, neat film... Though Spirited Away from last week's leading in my vote. Hope Castle in the Sky next week turns out to be just as good.

Uh no... Dr. Bob hasn't checked in yet... Maybe you could... Nah, forget it, will take care of it.
Um, no maids are currently employed... We generally clean up our rooms and keep things tidy around here on our own. There are a few Muppets who hang around working at the dorms without any roommates, but beyond that we just kind of dwell here in mostly well-kept habitable conditions.

*Treks upstairs to Room #34. Heh, looks like Diana will have some competition for the resident songbird title. Well, at least there's still time before the usual anniversary shake-up should Nicole want to take in the rest of the band. But for the time being...
Hope they like these. *Leaves robes hanging from the hook next to the door.
Nicole has a fluffy clear white robe, with dark golden bronze sleeves. The robe features golden bronze trimming, an upper pocket on the front left chest area, a yellow smily face seal marking the pocket, yellow smily faces upon the sleeves, and a pair of golden bronze headphones connected to the speakers tucked into the robe's inner side pockets to listen so she can listen to whatever music she chooses.
Floyd Pepper has a darkened rich red robe, with smoky gray sleeves. The robe features smoky gray trimming, small golden hooklike buttons closing both sides of the robe's body, golden records strewn about on the sleeves, and a smoky gray base guitar across the back.
Janice has a bright yellow robe, with sunburst orange sleeves. The robe features sunburst orange trimming, fringes of puffed fabric around the sleeves' shoulders and wrists, red kisses spread upon the sleeves, a peace medal hanging around her neck, and a white guitar across the back.
Zoot has a comfortably cool blue robe, with aquamarine sleeves. The robe features aquamarine trimming, an upper righthand pocket for his shades, black musical notes floating throughout the sleeves, and a golden saxophone on the front left chest area of the robe's body.

*Coming back from Everybody Eats a little dejected. Aw man... Why'd he have to go and do a thing like that... Especially after D-Brown got us to OT. All he needed to do was shoot a normal two-pointer, the three was unnecessary, he coulda gotten us to a OT2 period.
Only thing left now is for UCLA to win against LSU next week for Mike Goelic to win their annual wager. Other than that, almost all my interest's gone.

Hmmm, wouldn't know... Was watching some shows on Cartoon Network again.
Wonder if Sara knows about the PA system we have... No, not that guy who just walked around the KMUP studio in the Heather Locklear episode... It's an actual PA system, hooked into the main lobby's desk.
Count: And the people can just go there to use it if they have a vonderful announcement to make?
Well, no... Usually news are tacked up on the dorm's bulletin board. But I trust Scooter to use his good judgment with the PA system.
UD: Ah yes, that boy has proven himself quite capable regarding the theater's voiceboxes... No doubt he has equally a good skill with the one here.
Yeah... Come on, got some stuff to hammer out with a few of my online sources.
Maybe we'll run into a few of our friends down at the moviehouse.

Renee: *Is down at the moviehouse with Scooter, and the Country Trio. She's up in the control box, wearing her red vest and small hat, to show she works there.* The film is okay, Scooter!!
Scooter: *Is standing in the theatre, looking up at her, wearing the uniform as well.* I was a little worried about the first film, whoever ran it last time forgot to put it away.
Renee: *Blushes and turns back to the projector* It's okay, go make sure Frank, Jim, and Jerry are alright. Their doing the popcorn and stuff like that, right?
Scooter: Yeah, they are. I'll go check up on 'em. *Goes into the front of the moviehouse, and sees Jim and Frank up to their arms in popcorn.* What happened!?!?
Jerry: *Is laughing very hard* I told them that thing only needed two scoops of kernels...and Frank kept saying to put in double that, cause everyone was coming...and they ended up putting in SIX!!!!
Jim: Just help us bag what's still fit to eat, Jerry!! *Is already putting what is still okay to eat into the huge tubs they have in front of them.*
Frank: Yeah, help us.
Jerry: *He does so.* Oh, Scooter! You got the tissues ready?
Scooter: Yep. *Points to the front counter, where a box full of packets of tissues await everyone when they come through the doors.* Got that, and the pillows as well. Plus, Renee thought it would be nice to have blankets if anyone needed them.
Jim: Blankets and pillows?
Scooter: She said it would be like a huge getogether for the entire dorms, for whoever decides to come here. It's a free showing anyways. And we're showing nearly 5 films back to back too. Just a nice comfy thing.
Frank: Sounds really sweet.
Jim: Can't wait for the movies to start.
Scooter: Well, me and Renee will be up in the projection booth of you guys need us. *Gets a large tub of popcorn from Jim, and goes up to the projection booth.*
Jerry: I better get up to the front counter to get count of everyone that's coming. Give 'em tissues and pillows and stuff. *Goes to the front counter, and writes on a sheet of paper: "Tissues, Pillows, and Blankets on request. Ask Jerry upon arrival."* There we go, that aughta do just fine.

Now, here are you some packets of tissues, and some blankets and pillows. *Hands tissues to Nicole, and hands some blankets and pillows to Zoot.* We've got popcorn, candy, and sodas inside. If anyone dosn't really like that kind of stuff, we've also got water, juice, and I think so healthy stuff as well, just go inside, and Jim and Frank will take of you. Renee will start the movie as soon as more people come inside. What's playing right now, is just some clips from other Muppet Movies, and Muppet Trivia! Enjoy the movies guys, and don't forget to stay afterwards for a concert by all of us!!

Though I usually just have the Muppets who are the dorms, Kyle tends to bring in the other boarders into some of his song stylings. Well, hope you guys have a good time watching the rest of the movies, gotta get back to the dorms and get ready to leave for the campus.

You do realize there is no game room persay... But rather the common rooms on each floor. Though you can plug in the gaming consoles into the common room TV's and hold the tournament there this weekend.
Man, do I ever remember Chaos at the Carnival... We never really finished it, cause Kermit was so um, big in the final castle level... Always got squished by the boulders rolling down those first steps.
But I remember the maze with Fozzie and the bumper car ride with Animal speeding down the track... And Kermit's river ride where you had to get the toy boat for an extra life... And you had to get Camilla in the space coaster for extra lives, we usually exited after getting her to preserve those extra lives just earned.
Well, off to do some reading...

The game consoles will be supplied by me. I do have an NES and the Muppet games but I dot not have a PS1. Does any1 have one that we can lend for the tournament? Thanks again.
I'm thinking it's a large building with multiple bedrooms, at least 2 living/tv rooms, a game room, community showers/toilets, kitchen, laundry room, across the street from the college with a jacuzzi on the side and parking in front (between it and the college). Okay, so I've always visualized it as Quitman Dorms from my college daze--er, days.
Didn't fozzie bear say that there was a game room in the first post of this thread or was that canceled?

I enjoyed "The Muppet's Christmas Carol" movie. Kermit was my favorite in that one.

Well no... See Animal Jam, that was just how Kevin envisioned the dorms, drawing from his own college dorm days. However, if you go all the waaaaaaaaay back to the beginning of the thread, you'll find the write-up I did of how the dorms actually look like and all the areas encompassed with the dormhouse area.

Sara: Better be glad this isn't that murphy bed...it'd spring back into the wall if it was. *Shakes her head a bit, smiling* Okay, what else do I have to do?
Scooter: Lisa's birthday was a couple of days ago.
Sara: What?! No one TOLD ME!?!? OH NO!!! *Goes about the room, pacing trying to think of a B-Day gift.*
Jerry: Calm down! You'll get worked up into a frenzy over it!
Sara: Worked up into it? I am IN IT!! I need a present for her!!
Jim: What about that thing you got eariler in the year?
Sara: ...oh yeah! *Goes to the closet and grabs a small package from the tiny closet in their room. She opens it quickly, and glances at it, smiling.* Perfect...just perfect!
Scooter: What is it?
Sara: You'll know what it is soon enough, Scooter! *She leaves room 22, and walks just a bit up the hall, and knocks on the door to room 24, setting the package in front of it. It's a small somewhat flat box, with a simple red ribbon around an otherwise shimmery black box. Inside the box, is a beautiful folded up red sweater, with Robin's face embrodired on the breast of it, with Lisa, Robin, Gonzo, Camilla, Rowlf, and Clifford embrordied on the back. Hand embrodiered. Also on top of that sweater, is a slim tiara, simple, with beautiful silver scrolling across the top of it with a single crystalline open book in the middle of it, and Lisa's name engraved on the inside of it.*
Sara: *Is back in her own room again, giggling.* I really hope Lisa likes the gifts I gave her.
Scooter: What is it?
Sara: Just a sweater and a headband...something simple that's all. *Dosn't want to say just how detailed the 'sweater' is, and that the 'headband' is actually a tiara.*
Scooter: She'll probably love it then.

Hey Bry... Seeing as how I know you're a Sesame Seed at heart... There may not have been that many pranks here in the dorms, but there were a few over in the SS section of the forums. One that was an obvious prank that fizzled out about Palisades making FR and SS figures, another that was patently obvious about David and Olivia coming back in Season 37... Daffyfan even got the episode numbering wrong... Then there was ssetta's Ashley Simpson segment in Season 37 prank... But the best one of all, though I was prepared for it to say "it's not happening, April Fool's!" was the Sesame Street Treasures thread.
Hmmm, think I'll sneak up to Room #44 and leave this basket with some goodies for Diana as her B-Day present. Hope CM doesn't get to them, baked a whole lot of different ones I learned about from that Food Network special.
Guess I'd better leave a basket outside of Room #26's door to ensure CM doesn't go after Diana's basket.

*Chuckling... You're welcome. You know, that's hexactly why it struck me as odd when they said one of the activities at the Cookie Day festivity in one of these small towns in Wisconsin. It's called the Cookie Drop, where kids run around trying to catch as many cookies as they can dropped from a toy Cookie Monster. And as I heard that I thought... "Wait a second! Why me throwing cookies away? Me want cookies!"
Oh well... Hope he and Diana like them... There were some mamuls (ones round with dates, little peaked ones with walnuts, and ones long with pistachios), a few mooncakes, some Tollhouse chocolate chips, some Oreos, biscotties, shortbread butter cookies, oatmeal raisins, peanut butters, white chocolate chunks, macadamia nut cookies, and a few fudge cookies. Oh, and there was a special cookie, glad I kept those to give you personally Kyle.
*Hands cookie with edible images of his monster roommates. There's this place in California that can take whatever picture/photo you give them, put it in a computer, and turn it into an image on the cookie with edible ink.
