Well... Hope more people saw the Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night or in repeats today. There's a story about Harry Belafonte siding with the Venezuelan president... And to demonstrate Belafonte's "long-standing" stance on the issue they showed a clip from the intro of his TMS episode. But that wasn't the end of it, they went so far as to change Scooter's lines to fit with the story.
And then they just ran with all the puns from the Banana Boat song. Funny stuff. Wonder if Kevin and Fozzie have applied to write for them, or the Colbert Report. Maybe they could get themselves an intermship over there.

Renee: *Turns over, then sits up in the bed, yawning.* What do I think about what, Scoot?

Scooter: These showings. We've only got time tonight for 3 movies, and I can't make up my mind! We have to show "The Muppet Movie". I mean, it's Kermit's landmark!

Renee: Why don't you just do the first three? That always goes over great with everyone!

Scooter: Yeah! *Writes some stuff down on the paper.* Then tommorrow, we'll show "The Dark Crystal", "Labrynith", and finally we'll show 2 episodes of "The Jim Henson Hour". That sound good too?

Renee: Scooter...your Uncle gave you the Moviehouse. Why are you asking me so much about what movies play and all?

Bry: Hey, Big Bird. It's a great book that Ed gave me as a birthday/Christmas present. That reminds me, I need to send this thank you note to him. (takes envelope and hands it to some delivery bats at the window to send to room #1 along with 2 other packages--in one box has a new dark plum colored cape for The Count; in the second box is a memory book compiled with pictures and other items from the year's activities and events here at the Muppet dorms including parties, football games and sing-alongs. The book is covered with signatures and notes from all the dorm residents.) Thanks, bats! Hope they like their gifts.
Big Bird: Mind if I barrow your book sometime?
Bry: Not at all. Whenever I am not reading it, you can look at it. Just don't lose my place.
Big Bird: I won't! Haha!

*Coming back from errands, stopping at Room #6 upon hearing some of the music of the night.
*Clapping, that was hexcellent ladies. Just the thing to mark today as Frightday the 13th. Got my computer finally perfected, gonna see if I can download and install MC Radio soon.

Oh, and how come this play is news to me? Would love to get tickets for the play, and I now a few fiends who might like to come also.

Baskerville:Well i worked five hours but i really like it and when i was walking out i saw a lady leave here purse at the bus stop so i ran after the bus and when it stops i ran up to the door and ran in and the lady noticed it was here purse and as a reward she gave me 50 dollers plus my money for working at the coffee shop which i made at the coffee shop i made 300 dollers.

*Gets back to Room #1 after running some errands down at the campus. Ah, got my check and paid off the tuition for another semester, glad one didn't take away from the other though. Got the Santa Swedish Chef to replace the one traded away, only 7 items left to completion plus extras for the photo projects. Which reminds me, couple of other things need doing...

Oh, I met supermuppet in the lobby while coming downstairs. Seems he's decided to move up to Room #50. Gave him the key and showed his party to their room.

Well... Actually, pizzas started out as pizza pies. Just like a normal dessert pie, though the dough forming the sides and top sealed crust are a bit lighter in texture. They're then filled up with the sauce, cheese and additional toppings.

*Down at the Muppet Moviehouse, a new comer walks into the place, he looks quite familiar, with a banjo over his back.*

???:*His voice is soft, looking up at Renee from the other side of the counter.* Hello there, I'd like to buy 3 tickets to "The Muppet Movie" please, for the 6pm showing. And would you happen to know anywhere we could stay?

Renee: *She glances up from her clipboard, and smiles graciously at them, pulling 3 tickets off of the roll, handing them to the stranger.* Sure. I know of a hotel just down the street from here.

???: We've not got much money though, between the three of us...and...

Renee: You can room with me, sir. Um..who's "we" though?

*Two others walk inside, one is bald, with an orange goatee, and glasses and he has a tub bass sitting in the back of a rundown truck. The other fellow is wearing a maroon beret, and has a very colorful sweater on, on his back is a small gituar. The man in front of the counter has brown hair, with a short beard and mustache. His beady eyes are colored brown.*

Jim: We're the Country Trio, and I'm Jim. I play the banjo.
Jerry: And I'm Jerry. I play the gitaur. Nice to meet you.
Frank: *grunts softly.*

Renee: *She smiles at the trio.* If it's alright with my other roomate, you can certainly stay with me at the Muppet College Dorms. I've got plenty of room, fellows.

Jim: Well, thank you so much. *Jabs his thumb at the one who grunted.* Oh and he's Frank. He dosn't speak much.

Renee: Oh here are your tickets. *She hands them the tickets, then she glances around.* I just have to find Scooter so I can ask him if he minds you guys staying.

Scooter: Minds what, Renee? *Raises an eyebrow at the Country Trio, then looks over at Renee.*

Renee: These three gentlemen would like to stay with us for sometime.

Jerry: We've been hired as Music teachers over at the College. We're teaching Music Apprecation and Theory. *strums gituar softly, just messing around really.* We were trying to find something close to Campus, as they apperently don't give a proper place for Teachers just yet.

Scooter: Well, we're happy to help out a fellow student...or in this case a teacher!

*After the lunch crowd clear out from the Moviehouse, Scooter closes up as he always does from 2:30-5:30pm, and all 5 of them walk back to the Boarding House. Renee lets them into the room, and they set down their instruments in a corner of the room. Jim looks around and smiles. Frank strums a few bars from his tub bass, watching Jim and Jerry inspect the room.*

*Jim sits down, and pulls out his banjo, and starts strumming a few bars of an old song, he learned from a friend a while back. He starts to strum the first few bars of "I'm Going To Go Back There Someday"*

Jim: Renee, we've been travelin' for so long...we've almost forgotten the meaning of "home", ya know?

Jerry: But...this is so familiar to us. Thanks for helping us out, Scooter, Renee.

*Jerry pulls out his gituar, and joins in, the mellow tones of the strings harmonizing with Jim's banjo. The deep 'blums' of Frank's tub bass join in soon afterwards.*

Jim:
This looks familiar, vaguely familiar,
Almost unreal, yet, it's too soon to feel yet.

Jerry:
Close to my soul, and yet so far away.
I'm going to go back there someday.

Frank:
Sun rises, night falls, sometimes the sky calls.
Is that a song there, and do I belong there?

I've never been there, but I know the way.

Jim, Jerry & Frank:

*Renee and Scooter smile, sitting on one of the beds, while Jim and Jerry are on the other ones playing. The two interlock hands, while they sing, remembering family and friends.*

Lisa: Oh good. I feel bad I wasn't here when they came, but you know... school, and then that voice recital rehearsal thing, and services, and dinner... longer day than I expected, I guess. Oh is Robin in bed?
Rowlf: Of course. Clifford and I are the only ones awake.
Lisa: Who's sleeping where?
Rowlf: Gonzo and Camilla are on the floor, Clifford took the couch, and we're all in our usual spots.

Scooter: What? A new radio? Bicycle parts? A Six-String Osctra??

Renee: Kinda, no, and...no. This! *She pulls out a beautiful record player, the glass etched on top, in a cherry-blossomed japanese landscape, the laquered wood on the sides carved to resemble the sun rising and setting.* It ain't a radio, but it does play music!

Scooter: Wow! That's absolutely georgous! Where did he get it?

Renee: He made it himself. He was a master woodworker and glassmaker a long time ago. I think he was in WWII or something, and he had seen the beautiful woodworking they had done, and he tried it out himself.

Scooter: ..that's amazing. =D

Jim: It looks very well made.
Jerry: Did he give it to you?

Renee: Yeah, he wanted me to have it. :)
Jim: That was very sweet of him.
Frank: Put somethin' on. Let's hear it.

*She sets up the record player, and the 5 listen to music, the door open so everyone can hear the beautiful jazz and country flowing through the dorm.*

Renee is sitting on the back of the couch, with Jim in front of her, on the seat. Frank is in the middle on the seat, between Jerry, who has Scooter sitting above him on the back of the seat too, who's beside Renee. Jim has his banjo, Jerry his guitar, Scooter his own guitar, Frank his tub bass, and finally Renee with her saxhorn.*

Renee: *She plays a few soulful notes on her saxhorn, smiling.* You guys wanna play something?

*The rest of them nod, tuning up for a second or two.*

Jim: Any ideas what we should play, Renee?

Renee: How about we let Scooter choose. He'd probably know a few good songs.

Scooter: *He blushed a little bit.* Aw...I'm not really sure myself!

Jerry: *He smiles, strumming his guitar a little bit, playing the starting notes on a beautiful soft song.* I think I know what we should play guys...

And on the subject of videos to buy that I've been meaning to do, maybe I can get both season sets of FR later this year or some more TMS VCD episodes from Justin. Certainly know I'll have more money now that the Sesame Street figures won't be coming, at least not from Palisades.

*Opens door... Who's... Bryan, my friend, haven't heard nor seen you in... What? Yes, I'm sad to say. The news was delivered by Mike Horn himself via a letter sent to and posted on the Palisades forums by Michael Crawford. Palisades Entertainment LLC is out of business. However, it was bought out by Licensed by CAS LMTD. Yes, that's the full name of the company based in Tennessee that's taking over. Not rully sure if this means that almost all of Palisades' web features such as the collector's club or all the lines being developed like SS will be back in full force. All we can do is wait and hope for the best when Licensed by CAS shows up at this year's International Toy Fair in NYC in a couple of weeks time. But Palisades as we know it has officially shut down for business.

Hope that helps clear up the confusion my friend.

*Renee is out sitting by the pool, although the cover is on it, because's it's still winter at the dorms. She watches a small bug crawl across the cover, making its way towards the other side.*

Renee: Maybe I should start writing my essay....*she glances at a stack of papers in front of her. Her saxhorn is sitting beside it.*

*Scooter comes outside, leaning against the doorframe, he smiles to Renee. He sees she's sitting on top of the table, actually.*

Scooter: Why don't you play something? That always makes you happy.

Renee: I don't...really feel like playing, Scoot.

*Scooter's expression drops a bit, and he sits beside her on the table. He hands her a glass of water, and sets some of those apple-blueberry muffins that UD and Prawncracker had made beside her.*

Scooter: Huh...*He pulls out his small guitar, and strums it a bit.* Then...I'll play for you.

Renee: *Watches him, curiously, quietly.*

Actually... To clear up a few things.
1 Renee, your room's on the "second" floor. It's rully the main floor, the same one as when you enter the dormhouse, but there's another floor below it we call the "first" or "Basement" floor where some of our rooms are, including mine.
2 The pool's housed in a separate roofed area, accessible via the dormhouse by a walkway. The poolhouse is directly behind the dorms, next to the parking lot. You need a key to enter, seeing as how the separate thread got locked down. Me thinks Red's the one you'd need to talk about getting a key, but it looks like you already got one.

Hi there MuppetPro. The way this works is you glance over the register, which I'll post in a little while.
Or you can contact me if you have any ideas as to which Muppet character(s) you want as roommates, an unofficial running max of 7 at the moment. Though there'll be some new rules at the next anniversary...

Anyway, you choose your character and pick which of the remaining unoccupied rooms you want. Then you come and post as if you were checking in and I'll get you to your room.
After that, it's a matter of posting your room layout according to both your and your roommates' tastes; sending me design ideas for dorm robes for yourself and each member in your party; and just posting away interacting with the rest of the residents.

Hope this helps, and hope you're interested in joining us here at the MC Dorms.
