Renee: *Picks up her laptop once more, dressed normally. She decides to check and see if The Count is there yet. She and Miss Piggy would really like to unpack already. She bounds down the hall, and spots nobody at the desk.*

"Great..."

*She stops at the desk, spying a small bell. She taps the small bell a couple of times, smiling. She waits for The Count to arrive.*

Red: *calling room 1*: Hi Ed! Let's see, the score for the game against the Devils was 42-31 in favor of the Frogs, the Gators unfortunatly beat us at 16-8 and we won against the Jailbirds 24-16. It was a pretty good run, we only lost twice this whole year! I hope that helps! Also, looks like some people are waiting for you at the lobby. Talk to you later!

*Hears bell and races upstairs to the lobby.

Ah hello... You must be Rene, and oh... Hello Miss Piggy.
Seems you got here quick enough from the floor above... Heard you were staying with Kate over the weekend. Well, no matter, I'll just take the key and show you to your room. If you prefer, some of our bats will be at your room later with your luggage.

*Runs hand along backwall behind lobby's desk, finds marble 22, and takes the key.

Fright this way... *Leads them past two sets of double doors.
On our right is the general stairwell, been thinking of replacing it with a proper elevator though. Past the second set of doors, and we're in the second floor's main hall. That big room in front is the common room. Oscar lives in the trashcan in the back left corner, and the furnace in the back right corner holds the dumbwaiter elevator we use to get from floor to floor here.

Just a quick turn to our right, and it's the last door down the hall... Last one on our right as well.
*Hands key to Rene. Here you are... McFraggle, with Kermit and Sam the Eagle are in the room across from yours. T-Bird Chick's currently with Scooter in Room #18, but if she doesn't check in by Christmas, then he'll become available once again for roommate status. Thought you might want to know.

Just design your room according to both your tastes. And when you get the chance, send me a message with design ideas for your own dorm member robe for yourself and your roommate. Check out post #3900 or thereabouts starting with the one titled "Dorms Anniversary" from 9/10/2005 and you'll find some ideas for your own robes.

( :o Oh, okay. Sorry 'bout that. )

Renee: *She takes the key from Count, smiling. She opens up the room and starts decorating furiously inside.*

*Her side of the room in dark blues and blacks, with a huge fast powered computer set up on a large maghonoy desk. On this desk is a huge stack of school books and scripts. She has a rack full of costumes and a box of props set up against one of the walls. She is VERY active in the Colleges theatre program. Beside the rack of costumes she has a sewing machine, with a large box of fabrics and other sewing implements set up underneath another smaller table. Her bed is a black futon, which normally is set up as a couch, she hardly seems to sleep. She and Miss Piggy share a 30 inch TV, which is actually on her side of the room. (I don't know if this type of picture is allowed. XD They are Muppets, and therefore may not acknowledge Jim as anyone they may know...) Above her bed, on the wall is Renee's only prized picture. She has a large poster of Jim Henson with Kermit looking over his shoulder. It seems to be the focal point of the room, as it is between both sides of it.

Her robe is pure velveteen black, with silver piping around the cuffs, and a silver RL monogrammed on the right-side chest. It has black faux-fur trimming around the collar and the ends of the sleeves. She has deep pockets on them, and if you went through those pockets, you'd find normally some small script, and a pack of cigarettes + lighter. (She smokes a little when she's nervous...which is nearly all the time. XD)*

*On Miss Piggy's side of the room, is in darkish pinks and purples. Her bed is a beautiful canopy bed with pale pink organza/tulle draped over the top of it to make something of curtains on the sides of it. She has a huge table devoted to makeup and beauty treatments. She has a small carved table for her schoolwork. The books actually look like they are untouched, along with a few notebooks beside them. She has the closet and it is filled with her clothing and shoes. On her bedside table she has a framed picture of Kermit, from last Christmas. There are a couple of kiss marks on the glass of it. She also has a small pair of reading glasses sitting on the table, (but don't say anything about them!! XD) along with a small bowl of some sort of candy, and the remotes to the TV and various DVD/VCR equipment.

Her robe is a silken pink with pink faux-fur trimming only the collar. She has Miss Piggy embrodiered on the back of it, along with 3 small heart on the front of said robe. Their are no pockets to it.*

No worries Rene, it happens to the new boarders here all the time. And now that you're settled in... The bathrooms are at the end of the hall in the other direction, the laundry's downstairs below your room, and there's an exterior patio/garden area next to the house and a pool area behind the house, just next to the dorms' parking lot. You'll need to see Beth or Red Fraggle about the pool hours though.

Renee: "Thanks, Count!" *Picks up a script for Peter Pan, and looks over it. She grabs a drink and walks out to the patio, and starts going over some of the scenes in the script. She tries out different ways it should go, and still isn't sure.* "I'll never get this scene right by Thursday..."

*Piggy finally gets back from her Math class, she opens the room and her jaw drops a little. Renee got her side of the room perfect! She curls up on the bed, picking up Kermit's photo, and she turns on the TV. She starts to watch "The Showbiz Show with David Spade".*

... Yes, it made sense Rene... Though perhaps the dialogue with Scooter shouldn't be there.
Why you ask? Well...
It might be seen by others as controlling the roommate that's already with another person here at the dorms.
This has happened before, causing a bit of a rift. Though since T-Bird Chick hasn't been here since the anniversary, I'm not sure how she'd react to it. Best to just wait till Christmas day, if you remember my messages.

However, one of the times that it's OK for you to use another person's roommates are:
1 If that person has given you temporary permission to interact with their roomies.
2 When in a full-blown song/musical number, you can bring others in to sing various lines at a time.
Hope this helps, just helping out with a new friend learning the ropes.

Think I'll get to some cleaning up and decorating later today.

*She mixes this odd-looking concotion in a massive bowl. And when she thinks it's just right, she starts ladling them into cupcake molds. It makes about 10 pans worth. (I'm hoping we have a huge kitchen!) She pops the cupcakes into various ovens in the kitchen.*

"That's good for Chocolate-Cherry Cupcakes..Now...onto the main course!"

*She wipes her forehead with a small rag, she has flour all over her. She grabs a bag of cheese, some potatoes, some tofu beef, and some bread. She then makes Shepard Pie for everyone.*

"Traditional Christmas dinner that all of my friends can have and enjoy!"

They might even like to stay in Snuffy's caveroom because he mentioned he'll be going to see his family for a few days. They might feel more at home as it sort of is remeniscent of the Fraggle rock. *Coming back to the dorms... What a great night. Had dinner with my family at one of the Chili restaurants here, then went to watch HP4: Goblet of Fire.
Give it a B-, some parts were done well though others weren't. And it's a shame that a book as rich as that one with monsters got such a small portion in the movie. Would've like to see the blast-ended screwts or the niffler, or even the sphinx in the maze. The scene with Snapes telling Harry about the Veritaz syrum is completely out of place in the movie. I'm more convinced with each movie version I watch that this would be better suited for hour-long drama TV series like Charmed or Smallville, with the characters growing between the ages of 14 to 21.

Oh well, at least I got meself MTI on DVD as a present to add to the library. Good night everyone.

Baba:Suddenly a great company of the Heavenly host appeared with the Angel praising God and saying

Baba:When the Angel's had left them and gone into Heaven the Shepards said to one another

Aw... Thanks Kate. Think I'll just let the bats have the marshmallow ones, they seem to like those along with the whipped cream from the chocolate pizza Kathy made. Heh, personally I don't like whipped cream or marshmallows.
But they look great Kate and I thank you for the gift. Hope you like the ones we left in your stocking: sesame seed cubes, 7-layer bars/squares, a holiday nutsack with sweetened walnuts and pecans, caramel apple bars/squares, and small date cakes.

You may want to talk to him by contacting him via the forum to see if he'll ceed you his roomies or not. Like I said, you'd have to talk to him about that. If not, and you still wish to join, you'd need to check the current version of the dorms register and see who's still available for roommate status.

Now then... For the time being, I'm treating Statler and Waldorf's appearance as a cameo and not registering them as residents just yet. I feel the ned to point out a few things about the dorms.
1 Though there is no limit on the number of roommates one person may have, you should try to keep in mind:
a. Choose the Muppet you want most or that fits the best with your personality.
b. If that Muppet is taken, then cast about for a few alternatives and choose which would be the best.
c. This is not a competition to see who can get the most roommates into their rooms.
Please choose wisely when selecting a roommate.
2 Given the above statements, you should try to select the roommate(s) you want the most/best and stick to those characters. Though you could add others later, please try to remember that other people might want to join the dorms but can't because their favorite Muppet or the ones that are most familiar to them are already taken by others.
3 If you wish to add roommates, that would be OK. But you need to check with me first before just springing them into your posts as the above case with Statler and Waldorf.

Hope you can all understand my stance on this, just trying to keep the dorms manageable and fair to all currently residing while keeping it open to whoever decides to join us in the future.

When you first walk up to our door it has the number 51 on it and the Muppet show logo on the door when you open the door there is a Kermit the frog light switch cover then you see 3 shelfs that have Muppet action figures on them and then there is a desk with more Muppet collectibles on it and then you see one bed and three bunk beds and a white box filled with Jetson's,Yogi Bear,The Flintones and Under Dog and then on the walled there is a framed comic book the Jetsons first issue then there is a night stand with Leave It To Beaver season one in the lunch box then with some Muppet DVD's and then you see a picture of my dog Chipper in a gold frame and on the frame it says Chipper the 2nd.

Scooter: Yeah, I need to get this new wallpaper up, Renee. Hey! That looks great what you got...you have a good eye for these things.

Aaron has a bright blue bodied robe, with twilight violet sleeves. The robe features violet trimming, small twinkling stars across the sleeves, a piano key waistband, and an upright oakwood piano across the back.

Um, a few words... It is true that residents of the dorms can add and/or change to the total of Muppet roommates they have with them. But again, it's not a competition to see who has the most Muppet roommates booked in their rooms. Remember, the idea of the dorms is to pick the Muppet character(s) who you think would be your "ideal" roommate. Should that character(s) be taken, then you could take your second most "ideal" or favorite as your roommate. Please keep this in mind when selecting roommates, and set yourselves a set group of characters (if more than one) you'd be happy with having as your roommates. Just trying to keep some sense of order around here, and I hope everyone will understand.
