Rowlf: Where've you been?

Lisa: Services! Oh my gosh, Rowlf, this week is such a big week you have no idea!

Rowlf: So tell me.

Lisa: You know how I told you my synagogue FINALLY bought a building? And we closed on it? And I went to help pull weeds? And we had a teachers/ teachers assistants meeting there? And the whole thing with what colors to paint the walls? And the fire codes and all that? And buying all the stuff we need?

Rowlf: Of course.

Lisa: Well, guess what Rowlf? It's time! We're moving EVERYTHING from our little storage closet in the middle school INTO the building on Tuesday! Which means, today we had services in the library middle school for the LAST! TIME! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Oy, Rowlf, you have no idea how GOOD it feels to be done with that building!!!!!!!! FINALLY! Three years after graduating from it, I never have to go there again!

Rowlf: How long have you guys been meeting there?

Lisa: Oh, well um, let's see... started having services when I was in third grade, but we were at the gym of the primary building... then we went to the cafeteria of the middle school... we were in the library by my sister's bat mitzvah, which was.... <scrunches up face> now was it December or January? Must've been January... of... 1998. So, it's getting close to eight years now.

Rowlf: Wow. You must have a lot of memories there.

Lisa: Oh, I do! My sister's bat mitzvah, my mom's bat mitzvah, my bat mitzvah... who knows how many religious school assemblies, services, holidays, there was a wedding, Oy, yes, a lot of memories. But the thing is, it wasn't our space. I mean, yes, I've read from a Torah that survived the Holocaust in that room. On the other hand, it's main function is to be a middle school library. That's where I did a whole lot of painful research projects, it was drama club, it was... it's this whole other chapter of my life that I was done with three years ago. It's time to move. It's been time. And on Tuesday, we finally get to do it! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Time for the grand unveiling! First of all, I want to thank all of you who've made the MC Dorms a lasting success, and those of you who've decided to stay on for another year.
Some of you may remember the old hot tubs we had here at good old MC. Alas, they've been converted into the new TV studio where they film the Moppet Family and that TKO show.
Well, as a token of my gratitude to you guys, I've come up with designer dorm members' only robes based on your own ideas/submissions. Also, for each group of Senior Members, we have a second surprise.
Now then, please come up and take your robes and/or second surprise as I call out your names.
We'll start in order and get to all the dorms' residents that way.
*Gives white wrapped box to the Count.
Here are our own robes.
Room #1: The Count (MC, Eduardo) and The Count von Count: Senior Members.
Eduardo has a crimson red bodied robe, with light smoky black sleeves. The robe features smoky black trimming, a gray storm cloud buckle round the waist, and two midnight black bats on its sleeves.
The Count von Count has a sandy brown robe, with chocolate brown sleeves. The robe features chocolate brown trimming, a black batty bat buckle round the waist, and numbers from 1 to 13 in white jumbled
throughout its entire body.

OK... Next up is our favorite wayward woman who pops in every now and again.
Christy, step up and take a bow.
Oh, and please... Every group of Senior Members who gets these little white wrapped boxes... Please wait until all the robes have been handed out so we can open them up together at the same time.
Here are your robes Christy.
Room #2: Christyb and Gobo Fraggle and Sprocket: Senior Members.
Christy has a navy blue bodied robe, with softened sky blue sleeves. The robe features sky blue trimming, "Christy" embroidered in sterling silver letters on the front left collar, two badges on its shoulders, and white cloud rings round the wrists. The badge on her left shows off her Kermit avatar, who wears a black leather jacket and has his hands under his chin and elbows propped up on a wooden stool; while the one on her right depicts an angelic cartoon of Mother from The Moppet Family.
Gobo Fraggle has a vermillion yellow bodied robe, with amber tinted sleeves. The robe features amber trimming, a front pocket for storing his compass, the phrase "Explorer In Training" written in black letters across the back, and a few trailing grape vines printed down the sides of the robe's body.
Sprocket has a garnet red scarf wrapped around his neck. The scarf features rosey edges, his name written in black on its front center area, and gleaming marigolds forming two rows along the edges of the scarf.

Beth has a purple bodied robe, with lighter lilac sleeves. The robe features light lilac trimming, along with bright yellow daisies. The daisies cover the tops of the sleeves, the neckline, and a bit of the space on both the front sides and back of the robes body.
Red Fraggle has a cheery red robe, with darker brown-reddish sleeves. The robe features brown-reddish trimming, a front pocket for storing radish bars, and sunny yellow polka dots throughout its entire body.

Kevin has a coffee brown robe, with slate gray sleeves. The robe features slate gray trimming, a ring of silver ball bearing buttons round the collar, a Muppet Central clip on the front right pocket, a Ghostbusters logo on the sleeves, and an image of a dark gray mule puppet across its back.
Fozzie Bear has a clean tan robe, with white sleeves. The robe features white trimming, pink polka dots across the sleeves and throughout the trimming, and a tan pouch for his joke book at his waist.

The stripes run around the robe's body and reverse themselves: orange with yellow trim on his left, and yellow with orange trim on his right.
Bert has a striped tericloth robe, with slick rainy gray sleeves. The robe features a pocket for his bottlecaps, a paper clip chain collar, and a striped body. The robe's body is divided into vertical stripes of green, blue and orange, all of a softer shade than his normal shirt.
Ernie has a striped tericloth robe, with slick rainy gray sleeves. The robe features a navy blue pouch for Rubber Duckie at his waist, dark yellow trimming, and a striped body. The robe's body is divided into horizontal stripes of red and blue, with a thin white band separating the one from the other, of a softer shade than his normal shirt.

Bo has a navy blue bodied robe, with subtle cold grayish sleeves. The robe features cold gray trimming, the acronym "BBB" embroidered in red on the right shoulder, "SWAEHB" across the top back portion of the robe, "FOMP" on the left shoulder, and a cloaking hood. The robe also features a badge bearing a cartoon image of Father from The Moppet Family on the right shoulder and another badge with an image of King Agrippa on the left shoulder, along with a raven feather in an ink bottle above some papers on the sleeves.
Beauregard has a clensing beige bodied robe, with muted white sleeves. The robe features muted white trimming, arching rainbows across the sleeves, a pair of striking cross-mops over the robe's front body, a long horizontal bubble-bordered patch bearing the phrase "Go with de Flo" across the back, and added clear watery bubbles round the collar and down the sides of the robe's body.
Bobo the Bear Guard has a swirling oriental blue robe, with silky silver blue sleeves. The robe features silver blue trimming, a front right pocket for storing snacks, and a sterling security badge on the front left side of the robe. The robe's body and sleeves are covered with an assortment of snacks like peanuts, popcorn, pretzels, pizza slices, chocolate doughnuts, and the occasional box of Bizzo's Bat Chow.

Mark has a vibrant green bodied robe, with clear yellow sleeves. The robe features clear yellow trimming, multiple pockets on the robe's front body, snaps fashioned like US State quarters clinging to all the pockets, the Muppet Show logo across the back, and "Muppet College Dorms" written in white below the logo.
Thog has an octuple extra large vibrant green bodied robe, with clear yellow sleeves. The robe features clear yellow trimming, many pockets on the front body, black beetle-like buttons clinging to all the pockets, the Muppet Show logo across the back, and "Muppet College Dorms" written in white below the logo.

Gerard has a standard red robe, with smooth white sleeves. The robe features slick black trimming, red and white swirling across the sleeves in a peppermint pattern, and an inner pocket for storing bags of candy.
Rizzo the Rat has a cheese yellow robe, with melted gray sleeves. The robe features melted gray trimming, little bitten notches around both ends of the sleeves, "Rizzo" written in black across the back, and cheeselike wedges over the sleeves with holes throughout them so the arms can be seen beneath.



BTW: You may have noticed I didn't call up T-Bird Chick nor Scooter. That's cause they didn't send in any ideas for their robes. Hopefully, they'll come in and see/read through all of yours and come up with some ideas for their own robes. If someone sees T-Bird Chick, please tell her to contact me regarding this ASAP.

Yes, this is the clever way I came up with to denote those of us as Senior Members. Muppet College (MC) badges in the shape of the head and iconic collar of Kermit The Frog. Each badge bears that person's name or user ID, and the phrase "MC: Senior Member" upon the points of the collar.
Hope you like them and hope you've enjoyed the robes displayed here on parade for all of you.

Bo has a navy blue bodied robe, with subtle cold grayish sleeves. The robe features cold gray trimming, the acronym "BBB" embroidered in red on the right shoulder, "SWAEHB" across the top back portion of the robe, "FOMP" on the left shoulder, and a cloaking hood. The robe also features a badge bearing a cartoon image of Father from The Moppet Family on the right shoulder and another badge with an image of King Agrippa on the left shoulder, along with a raven feather in an ink bottle above some papers on the sleeves.
Beauregard has a clensing beige bodied robe, with muted white sleeves. The robe features muted white trimming, arching rainbows across the sleeves, a pair of striking cross-mops over the robe's front body, a long horizontal bubble-bordered patch bearing the phrase "Go with de Flo" across the back, and added clear watery bubbles round the collar and down the sides of the robe's body.
Bobo the Bear Guard has a swirling oriental blue robe, with silky silver blue sleeves. The robe features silver blue trimming, a front right pocket for storing snacks, and a sterling security badge on the front left side of the robe. The robe's body and sleeves are covered with an assortment of snacks like peanuts, popcorn, pretzels, pizza slices, chocolate doughnuts, and the occasional box of Bizzo's Bat Chow.

Pepe the King Prawn has a fiery red bodied robe, with sparking yellow sleeves. The robe features sparked yellow trimming, a few rings of orange flames round the tops of the shoulders, a cross maracas emblem on the front chest area, the phrase "I'm Not a Shrimp, I Am a King Prawn, Hokay." in burning black lettering across the back, and an inner pocket for hiding his deck of marked playing cards.

The robe features soft pink trimming, her signature red radish pendant hanging around her neck, a front left pocket bearing two straight pencils for storing her paints, blue music notes across the sleeves, and blooming flowers across the back.
Red Fraggle has a cheery red robe, with darker brown-reddish sleeves. The robe features brown-reddish trimming, a front right pocket for storing radish bars, sunny yellow polka dots throughout its entire body, trails of knobblies down the sides of the robe's body, and splashed waves running across the body itself.

Seems we have a bit of a cheering section here now. Well, let's hear it for your favorite moderator/gamemaster and mine... Kevin, step on up.
Here are your robes.
Room #4: Fozzie Bear (MC, Kevin) and Fozzie Bear: Senior Members.
Kevin has a coffee brown robe, with slate gray sleeves. The robe features slate gray trimming, a ring of silver ball bearing buttons round the collar, a Muppet Central clip on the front right pocket, a Ghostbusters logo on the sleeves, and an image of a dark gray mule puppet across its back.
Fozzie Bear has a clean tan robe, with white sleeves. The robe features white trimming, pink polka dots across the sleeves and throughout the trimming, and a tan pouch for his joke book at his waist.

Oh, cool! Thanks everyone! On behalf of Fozzie and myself we thank you, and are both very glad we actually woke up this morning (for a change)! Oh, and one more thing to complete this out...

All right, here is how our room looks. It's pretty much the same as when Red and I moved in, so check out this post http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showpost.php?p=250977&postcount=1576 to get the general idea. The changes that are added is that Mokey has a bed made of beanbags and pillows directly below Red's hammock. Lanford, Mokey's plant now rests on the desk we share. The walls are adorned with paintings Mokey has done of things from down in Fraggle Rock. Added to the closet are all of Mokey's cloaks. There is a framed picture of the Fraggle five above Mokey's bed and below Red's. Mokey's bed is covered in lavendar blankets. There are also several ribbons hanging around that Mokey won for her artwork, poetry and gardening. That's about it for any changes.

This summer, I created a long list of fictional TV listings on my computer for cities across the country from the past and I can build a museum/library right next to the Muppet College dorm room and it's dedicated to my fictional tv listing makings for fun, It is called the TV Listing library and the library is where i've stored my TV listings on microfilm or by computer database and the video library is where all the videos from the TV Listings are stored and get this! over 200,581 videos of programs, so if anyone either want's to rent a video or listen, we have 100 viewing stations for your viewing pleasure, you can keep a video as long as you like or if you want to return it that's fine
I have videos covering Comedy, Drama, Movies, News, Sports Programs, soap operas, game shows, TV sign-on's and sign-offs, etc.

My Room is a big room complete with a big screen TV, PS2 and a VCR player, a DVD Player, a fridge, cabinets, dishwashers, microwave oven and a regular oven and a stereo, The Wallpapers are combined with crayons, fish because Elmo is bringing Dorothy with him in an unbreakable bowl and a half of the Wallpaper is pink because Zoe is a ballet dancer and she likes the color pink and she is a girl and the last half of the wallpapers is covered with old tv station logos from cities around the country and retro sports logos because I’m into Old Stuff. and there are two beds, one for Elmo and Zoe and one for Me.

Elmo’s robe description is that it is a white robe with a big red E on the back of it and on the front of it it says “ELMO” on the Front of the Robe

Zoe’s robe description is that it is a pink robe with ballet slippers on the back of it and on the Front of it says Z for Zoe.

My robe’s description on the back of it, it has great big “P” for Peter, and it has a lot of old TV station logos for cities around the country, and on the front of it, it has a lot of numbers on it because I’m into math.

*Grabs key from marble 27 on lobby desk's back wall and leads new residents.
OK, past the double doors... The first set separates the lobby from the rest of the dormhouse. On your right, you'll note an added door which leads to a multi-colored rainbow spiral staircase for getting from floor to floor.
Past the second set... That big open room in front of us is this floor's common room. Oscar's can is in the back left corner and there's an old world furnace in the back right corner. We use that furnace to get from floor to floor also, cause there's a dumbwaiter elevator inside it.
OK, we just turn to our left... And your room should be, third door down on our right.
*Hands key to Peter. You'll note the bathrooms on this floor are the door diagonally across from yours on your right, least door down on the left side of this hallway.
You've got some neighbors from SS in this hall...
Bryan with Big Bird, Rosita, Snuffy and Telly are in the room to your right, last door down on the right side of this hall.
And Kyle with Cookie, Grover and Herry are in the room across from yours diagonally to the left. Gonzo, Clifford and Uncle Deadly are with Ryan in the room to your left. And then there's Nyssa and Lisa in the first two rooms in this hall.

Will get the spiders working on the robes, will have them for you as soon as they're ready.

My room consists of a few walls, & Several tables (There's more to it than that), and these walls & Tables serve as holding places for clocks! A few feet away from the tables are several jewlery windows (Where you can see the watches & Jewelry at jewelry stores), and these jewelry windows are filled with all sorts of digital watches.

In another room is my bedroom, and I have a big sized bed with a night stand to the left of the left pillow. I have 2 atomic clocks on my bedstand. One is my alarm clock radio, and the other is a travel alarm.

I own 2 cats. I have an almost pure black cat named Nuby, and an orange/white cat named Chico. Nuby is almost black with the exception of the tip of his tail being whilte!

In yet another room, I have a computer desk, and I am in the process of getting a new PC! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY! :) This room also serves as an office.

There's also a standard kitchen, w/d, and I am going to eventually add a gameroom to my part of the room where bear is.

Robin the Frog has an olive green bodied robe, with liquid blue sleeves. The robe features liquid blue trimming, his yellow Frog Scout bandana tied round the neck, two interior pockets, some floating lilypads across the sleeves, and five merit badges hanging from the robe's body. They include a Mirror Rainbow badge, Ruby Glow badge, Weeping Willow badge, Road Hopper badge, and Number Nightlight badge.

Rosita: Peter, muy bien! I got to view a lot of spanish programs in the library, with all them coming from KMEX-34 in Los Angeles from 1978 to 1984 and that is interesting Senor Wiggins

Kermit: Peter! That is unbelievable, I got to view a lot of muppet show Videos, a lot of Fraggle Rock videos when it was on NBC with my friends Gillis Fraggle, Tosh Fraggle and all the other fraggles.

Peter: Neat!

Sam: And Pete! I got to view this presidental election debate between Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford from October 6, 1976 on NBC via KYW-3 Philadelphia and I'm into politics.

Peter: Niicce!!

Rowlf: Hey! Peter!, Woof Woof! Hey, I got to view this tape from June 15, 1971 on PBS via WGBH-2 Boston and it was called Beethoven- Sonatas for Violin and Piano and I got to view this Liberace in Las Vegas special that aired December 6, 1984 via WENH-11 Durham,NC and I got to view a lot of sign-off's yeah, My Favorite is the WGBH Boston sign-off from May 1983 and do you agree the WGBH sign-off was the best!!!

Well... Peter... I know this is only a game, that's how it started out. With Byron known as Janice&Mokey's Man asking what Muppet character you could have as a roommate if you could have one... And the dorms were born soon after that.
And yes, you're supposed to have fun, so long as you play by the game's rules and don't overstep your bounds while playing.

So far, there's at least one person... er, asking you to stop using their character.
And I'm just trying to keep the peace before others like Lisa and Bryan come in saying the same thing.

So if you could limit your own posts to having Elmo and Zoe in them, I think we might get along much better here. Sorry to seem like I'm coming down on you, believe I'm not... Tryin' to explain as best I can so that you know how to play. Check out some previous pages in the thread and that might give you a better idea.
