Aaaaaaah! Guys, calm down. The parties aren't till the weekend. First we have Nyssa's B-day down in Room #8 scheduled for Friday/Saturday. After that, we got the party Harvey Towers will be throwing, with some help from us, for the dorms upon reaching the grand 3000 post total count. That one will be on Sunday and last till Monday. Gotta give everybody equal party-time.

Hope this helps.

*knocks on Ed's door*

Hello Count, is Ed in? Ah, good.

Ed, I ws wondering about a floor-plan...do you think someone could drw one? I get so confused....

The Count
06-22-2005, 09:41 AM
Oh hey Bo. Well, sure. If anyone wants to draw up a plan of what the dorms looks like, the floor/room layouts, that sort of stuff... They could always come here and we could chat about it.
Don't have anyone lined up for that at the moment. Haven't heard from Scooter (the MC forum member) since we started up the dorms again. But if you know of anyone talented enough like maybe Kyle or Vibs, then tell 'em they can contact me if they'd like to start on sketching the dorms.

See you at the parties this weekend.

Red, I'm confused. Did we miss the party or not?
Red: I think the Count said that there are two parties this weekend, one for Nyssa's birthday and the other one to celebrate the dorms. So we didn't miss those. However, I think a few others had a smaller party last night, so we missed that.
Oh, ok, I was confused! Thanks! Well, at least we didn't miss the big parties this weekend! I'm excited! Parties are fun!
Red: I agree! The dorms are such a great place to be, I'm glad we're going to celebrate them!
Me too! We should go shopping for some goodies to share!
Red: That's a great idea!

<Comes back a half an hour later>

Ok everyone, WAKE UP! LET'S GET CLEANING!

Now then, hope you have a good time at cleaning. And if you need a cleaning tune, then at least switch to something more like Whistle While You Work. A bit sweet, but at least it's from Disney's golden age.

Oh yeah, I'll be back later, think I'll do a bit of shopping down at the Muppet Mall's supermarket. Also need some blank video tapes. Wonder if I can get a ride with Kathy and Prairie.

Hey guys, we're back. Did some shopping, enough to have the basics restocked here at the dorms common room kitchen areas. Also got a few things the Swedish Chef asked for, will drop those off with Lisa.

Maybe I'll do another bit of figure reorganization. The good thing is that the shelf above my computer will be mostly cleared away for some more MOC Muppet exclusive figures, will probably hunt those down later.
Also need to get the video tapes for a possible deal, will try to get 'em tomorrow.

Have a good night guys and gals and Muppets.

Penguin: Squack!

Lew: I'm confused!

About what?

Lew: Aren't Muppet penguins supposed to be able to talk?

Hey, yeah, they are!

Penguin: Ha ha ha... Fine, I can talk, you win!

Hey guys, was wondering if I could get some help/opinions on something. Thing is, I'm working on getting the creatures on my Monster Roster added up to the castle's contents. Got two so far, and was wondering what you thought regarding who should be #14. The beings could be based on mythic monsters or inanimate objects, so long as they fit the scenario of what could be considered our homely castle.

The two options I got are either... a humanoid based on the human heart, or the Queen of Hearts. Got my idea, but guess I'm looking for a bit of feedback. LMK via PM so as not to take up space here at the dorm's own thread.

Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon. If not, then that's OK too, I'll just go with my own choice.

Since I still have time. Lets go over to her room and do something speical.

Cookie M: Sound good to me.

Goes over to room 8....... *knock knock*

Ok guys hit! *a band of anything muppets start playing "Happy Birthday to you"*

Me: When it's my birthday, it really is great
I pull up the covers and I sleep really late
I'll take a nice hot bath with millions of bubbles
I'll read a good book and forget all my troubles
And that's my special way
To spend my very special day
And that's the way it's always gonna be
When I say, "Happy Birthday to me!"

Count comes in

Count Von Count: When it's my birthday, I never will fail
To count all the cards that I get in the mail
I count the cake and candles up on the shelf
And count all the gifts that I give to myself
One present, two presents, three presents, four presents,
Five beautiful presents! 'A 'a 'a! (thunder and lightning)
And that's my special way
To spend my very special day
And that's the way it's always going to be
When I say happy, say happy,
Say, "Happy Birthday to me!"

Oscar comes in and sticks his head out of the trashcan

Oscar: When it's my birthday, I hope that we get
A cold rainy day so my presents get wet
I'll put some extra fish on my birthday cake
And tell all my friends to go jump in the lake
And that's my special way, heh heh,
To spend my very special day
And that's the way it's always gonna be
When I say, "Happy Birthday to me!"
(goes back into trashcan, and the lid bangs him on his head) Ow!

Me: Ok your turn Nyssa. Sing!

(Herry and Cookie Monster comes in with a big birthday cake!)

Nyssa: When it's my birthday, I think that I'll spend
The whole day out playing with my all my friends at MCD
When I see lots of candles, I'll give a shout
And I'll let my friends help me blow them out
And that's my special way
To spend my very special day
And that's the way it's always gonna be
When I say, "Happy Birthday to me!"
(The gang of MCD comes in with a birthday cake. Herry snezzes and the cake splatters up against Nyssa's door.)

Herry: Woops!

Count: To me!

Oscar: To me!

Nyssa: To me!

All: To me!

Sal: Yeh Johnny, it’s a shame I couldn’t reach any higher…

Johnny Fiamma: That’s OK Sal, I expect Harvey Towers will sort that out when he comes in. I think he’s busy with the food.

*A pile of sausage rolls suddenly appears in the doorway*

Harvey Towers: Right *puts down the food* I still have some more plates to go and collect – and the cake too. This place looks great; have you got the music sorted out Johnny?

Johnny Fiamma: I’m ready to go – but there are so many musicians in here I’m sure I’ll get plenty of help when they arrive.

Harvey Towers: Good – I just hope that the guys aren’t all partied out. Sal, come and give me a hand with the rest of the stuff will you?

Hey Harvey, wanted to ask you something. Do you have any evidence suggesting that Johnny's last name is spelled "Fiamma"? Just asking, cause from the episodes of MT I have, I've heard his name to be pronounced "Fiama" as if it were spelled with one "M" instead of two. But if you know it to be with two "M"'s, I'd be interested in knowing where you found that info to back up the correction for my Muppet Listings.

Well, hope to hear from you soon. Oh and please let us know if we can help prepping for the dorms party or when it'll be. Thanks and have a good day.

Hey! Thought there'd be a party up in Room #32 today. Has it started yet? Sure hope I'm not late. Especially since it's a party celebrating the dorms themselves. And to think, it'll be one full year since we opened the dorms up again this September.

LMK if there's anything needed for the dorms party.
Have a good night.

Harvey Towers: Sal.

Sal: Yes Harvey Towers

Harvey Towers: Could you be a dear and run round the dorms and tell everybody that the party celebrating the 3000 posts in the Dorm Thread for today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday) is just starting!

Sal: Sure *Sal leaves* Muppet Dorms party just starting in Room #32

Harvey Towers: Johnny, The Count was asking me about how you spell your name

Johnny Fiamma: That's easy - it's the same way Mamma used to spell it!

Harvey Towers: Yes, well I know that. All I know this that it seems to pop up both with one M and two and I must just have settled on the two-M one.

Johnny Fiamma: That guy sure likes his letters and numbers! Tell to ask for an autograph and we'll find out that way...

Beau: I thin-k I got it perfecty.
Bo: Good. *chuckles* Perfect.
Beau: But his face is a little crooked.
Bo: Let me see...no, it's fine. *rolls up the life-like 3-dish full-size photo of Steve Whitmere and heads to Lisa's place. Checks Lisa is out...*
Beau: So, if we tape it to her door like so, then when she gets back after the party she should be tired, and confuss-ied and she'll think it's real?
Bo: Yup. And then they'll all see her introducing herself to a door. *chuckles* *heads off to party*

The Count

Count: That's 1 marwelous monkey! And that's 2, 2 parties here at MC Dorms!
*Thunder and lightning from outside.

Well, let's head on upstairs to the party pal.
*Both wash up, get dressed and head on upstairs to Room #32.
Hey, maybe I'll ask Johnny for his nom de plum on this lil index card here. Maybe then we can settle this.
*Knock on Harvey's door waiting to be ushered inside.

Wow, it's going to be quite the celebration! Two days of fun!
Red: I'm going to make sure that the pools are nice and clean and ready in case anyone wants to party down there!
Hey, good idea! I think I might make some dips and stuff like that.
Red: We could also move our karaoke machine to the common room and then people can use that too!
Ok! I'll work on that while you're down cleaning the pools.
Red: Sounds good! Party on! Woo-hoo!

*Both change clothes, dragging along two bags filled with wet clothes in one and pita chips and sodas and dips in containers in the other bag.

You know...
*As they enter through the side entrance and into the common room dumbwaiter elevator.

It's a good thing Harvey's throwing this party now. The dorms' first anniversary will be in September and I've got an idea for a surprise.
Count: A good surprise?
Yes, something that'll identify us as MC Dormers, and an extra ID for us Senior Members too.
Count: Still missing those hottubs eh?
Yeah, but the dorms are still standing and that's a testament to how well we've made this grand ol' home filled with crazy people and Muppets alike.

Come on, we gotta get to Room #32.
*Saying hi to others in common room.
Gee, looks like we'll have to wait our turn at the dumbwaiter elevator. Wonder if anyone's taking the stairs for once?
Oh well, come on looks like there's enough room for us all.

Oh hi Vic, haven't seen you and Ernie around here in a while. You guys still have Room #5 with Bert. He's been downstairs reading quietly for a while now. There's a party for the whole dorms upstairs in Room #32 and the 3rd Floor Common Room. Harvey Towers and his roomies are the hosts. Come on up if you want.

*Later... Outside Room #32.
Oh hey Vic! You made it. And Ernie and Bert too. Great, now this'll be a party. If Diana and the band across the hall hear us... Heh, they'll make it even more of a blowout should they get here.

Oh no! Look out! Let's just hope it's not the Trashcan Tango.
And me without a letter T trophy.

Hmmm, beet-loaf you say? Well...
*Takes paper plate and slices off apiece. Let's give it a try.
Not bad, but you might wanna try making it with ground beef next time. BTW: If you like Bert, I got a couple of recipes you might want to jot down. Pink potato salad with radishes, that's what makes it pink. And milkshakes without ice cream. Frozen fruit replaces the ice cram, mom makes them all the time and they're great. Recently saw a show on the Food Channel about the history of milkshakes, and there's a place that makes them like my mom does, but they add a bit of oatmeal. I'll try that one next time and give you the recipe if you want.

Oh wanted to let everyone know now that we're here... The surprise is that on the 1st Anniversary of the dorms, I'll be handing out special dorm-only bathrobes to all the members here. Please contact me or leave notes for me via my E-mail or PM box to know just what details, colors or other decorations you'd like each of your robes to be like. And the second surprise, to Senior Members, will be revealed upon handing of the robes.

See you later guys, gonna take a cold rest in my ICE-cooled room. Be back in a little while if the party's still going strong.

So... Anyone decided about their dorms robes?
Brought my electro notepad to take notes. But some food would sound good about now.
*Makes beeline towards buffet table to load up.

OK, we'll have some bat burgers... A couple of breadsticks... A corn-on-the-cob... And a serving of potato salad. And a tall glass of soda of course.
Count: Make that two my friend!
Sure thing pal.

OK, we'll be set up over here if anyone wants to come by and talk about their particular robes. If not, then I'll probably bug you guys over the inhouse mailer.

Cookie M: Ok.

*the music starts with backup anything muppets*

Herry: Would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar?
And be better off than you are?
Or would you rather be a mule?

Cookie M: A mule is an animal with long, funny ears
He kicks up at anything he hears

Anything Muppets: His back is brawny and his brain is weak
He's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak

Cookie M: And, by the way, if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule

Herry: Or would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar?

Anything Muppets: And be better off than you are?

Herry: Or would you rather be a fish?
A fish is an animal who swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book

Anything Muppets: To fool the people is his only thought
Though he's slippery, he still gets caught

Herry: But if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish

Anything Muppets: Delish!

Cookie M: Or would you like to swing on a star?
Carry cookies home in a jar?

Herry: Thats not right Cookie!

Cookie M: And be better off than you are?
Or would you rather be a pig?

Herry: A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
His shoes are a terrible disgrace

Cookie M: He's got no manners when he eats his food
He's fat and lazy and extremely rude

Herry: But if you don't care a feather or a fig
You may grow up to be a pig

Cookie M: And all the monkeys all in a zoo
Herry: Every day you see quite a few

Anything Muppets: So you see, it's all up to you

Herry: You can be better than you are

Cookie M: You could be swingin' on a star

Anything Muppets: You could be swingin' on a star

Herry: You could be swingin' on a star, Cookie?

Cookie M: Yes Herry?

Herry: You could be swingin' on a star

Anything Muppets: You could be swingin' on a star

Cookie M: You could be swingin' on a star my monster

Herry: Don't I know it

Herry, Cookie and Anything Muppets: You could be swingin' on a star

Herry, Cookie and Anything Muppets: You could be swingin' on a star

Hmmm... Seems like everyone's been getting a good Rest In Peace.

Well, not sure if they know, but... Tomorrow's the big day, cause Rainbow Connection Kermit and Robin will be going up for sale over at the Palisades Direct shop in town. Course, we can get discounts if we show them our club member ID cards, and I plan to.
And I hope to get the package with the FSL Kermits ordered tomorrow, but if not at least it'll probably get here next week.
Count: So that means...
Yes, almost all of Series 10 will be ordered and all we have to do is sit back and wait for the figures to come. After that, it's a matter of photographing them and adding them to the project.

And holding out hope against hope that the figure of Sal Manilla will be made and released within the second half of this year before the contract expires.
Oh well, let's get to sleep pal. Got an eventful day tomorrow.

If you like Bert, I got a couple of recipes you might want to jot down. Pink potato salad with radishes, that's what makes it pink.
Bert - Would I ever!
Recently saw a show on the Food Channel about the history of milkshakes,
Hey! I saw that too!
Red: I know! I'm glad to see Bert and Ernie here!
Me too and it's good to see Vic too!
Thanks, Beth; it's great to see you here too! Nice dancing!
Well, I gotta' go; work to do you know. Please keep all the beet-loaf, but I'm gonna' take some other food for th'road, kay'?

Morning Red!
Red: Morning, you're in a good mood today.
That's because it's a nice LONG weekend for the 4th of July!
Red: Oh, that's cool. Will there be more parties?
I don't know. Perhaps a barbeque/picnic on the 4th would be nice. For now, I'm just enjoying being off of work for a couple of days.
Red: Sounds good. Maybe we can take in a movie this weekend!
Ooh, that would be great! Well, let's get some breakfast, I'm hungry.
Red: I bet you'll have cereal.
Yep, I'm a Cereal Girl!
Red: Don't start singing.

Hmmm, maybe it's the type of peanut butter your sister despises? Personally, I don't like the creamy type. Much rather perfer the crunchy type with the little nuts in it.

Oh, just finished my own big bowl of cereal and washed up in the bathrooms. Gonna take care of some more washing up later.
Just placed my order for RC Kermit down at the Palisades Direct store in town. Unfortunately, the club membership discounts aren't going to be allowed for this one item. But at least it's ordered. And now all that's left is to let 'em get here.

Count: That's 2, 2 things done from our agenda for today.

There little things you light with fire and they shoot off and make cool looking pictures or sparkles in the sky. Its cool. You also have bottle rockets they out shoot off and they also do sparkles and booms.

The barbecue will be lit and the food prepped later this afternoon so we can have a hearty picnic cookout meal. Dessert will be provided by Kathy and Prairie and myself. Fireworks display will begin at 11:00 PM EST so everybody will have a chance to get here and see them.

In other news... The mail didn't bring the package I was hexpecting. Oh well, maybe next week. Thing is, I'm on a bit of "yellow alert" concerning the stuff I'm waiting for in the mail. Got burned on a deal for some video tapes of SS a couple of months ago. And what with the package ordered from PCC a month ago still not arriving... Coupled with waiting for the pack with my UD figures, well... I'm just a little on edge about it all.
But at least Tony told me to get back to him in 2 weeks from now if the PCC package hasn't arrived yet. Also gonna hope the figures bought from another forum member also get here soon. Oh, and I won an auction for another rare figure.

Mmmm, don't know about that. That's kind of how I keep the dorm registry clear in my mind, by associating the Muppet roomies with the room number and person therein. And of course, you know I go by associating the ones that have had figures made of them in my mental picture of the dorms layout.

But if you want a chilling thought... Just wait till SS S2 and my roomie's there on the shelves with the figures of UD, having a creepy conversation amongst themselves.

*Spots Aaron walking in.
Oh my gosh! Aaron, is it rully you? We've missed you and Rowlf so much here.
There've been some parties while you were gone, but the dorm's in pretty good shape approaching its 1 year anniversary. If you're interested, you can contact me to discuss your dorm robes. If not, then I'll contact you later.

If anyone wants some we left some in the fridge in the kitchen. The one with plain wrap is regular chicken salad, the one with red wrap is the stuff with the radishes in it, which isn't too bad!
Red: Told you so!
Now, how about some dessert?
Red: Ok, what do you want?
Oreos.
Red: Oreos? Really?
Yeah, I just saw a commercial for them and they looked SOOOO good.
Red: Ok, Oreos it is! Milk too?
Of course!

Oh my! You're sending Red out on a cookie run? Well, better get it done now before Kyle comes home with Cookie Monster. She's a brave soul for venturing out to grab the Oreos and return in a madcap dash to the finish.

Hmmm, that sounds rather exciting. Wonder if Lewis Kazagger might be interested in covering such an event. Might send a message with one of my bats to Vibs.

In fact, think I'll do just that.

Chef: Leesa? Ere-a yuoo eveke-a?

<sigh> No, I'm just sitting at my computer surfing the web in my sleep. Yes, I'm awake.

Chef: Vhy ere-a yuoo eveke-a? It's zee meeddle-a ooff zee neeght. Um de hur de hur de hur.

Because I can't sleep.

Chef: Vhy nut?

Well if I had to guess I'd say it's because I'm thinking about Destination: Home.

Chef: I thuooght yuoo vere-a dune-a veet thet oone-a.

Yeah, I thought so too. But my family has been saying that I should get it published. I keep telling them that I can't, because of copyright and trademark stuff. I didn't create the characters. It would be a huge legal mess. But they keep saying I should take it to a publisher, and that the publisher would figure out all the legal stuff. Send it to MHC and all that stuff, and maybe they would give me permission to publish it. It all sounds pretty far-fetched to me, but they just keep saying it... And you know how when you keep hearing something over and over and over and over you start to believe it? Well, I think I'm starting to believe it. But it still seems so unrealistic. And even if it was realistic, I'm absolutely petrified of it. I don't know why, but I am. Still, I feel like I have to at least try. You never know until you try, right? And I feel like if I don't try, then, well... I don't know. I just know I can't get it out of my head, and I don't know what to do.

Chef: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

<sigh>. Well. Thanks for pretending to listen, at least. I think.

Well... Maybe things will seem clearer to you in the morning Lisa. Would advise you to make an appointment with a lawyer who specializes in copyright and publishing matters.
But then again, it's your story so I'm sure you'll make the fright decision in the end.
Hope this helps... And hope you've slept well.

Welcome Kim! It's always nice to have visitors!
Red: Yes welcome! You should move in here, it's lots of fun!
Yes, we had the Wild World of Muppet sports last night when Red went to get Oreos and tried to get back before Cookie Monster saw her.
Red: I'm happy to say I was successful in that endeavor!
Anyway, enjoy your visit here, sure you'll never find it boring or dull!

*Sees Kim in the common room.

Well, well... Will wonders never cease? So good to see you round these parts again Kim. We've rully missed you.
*Turns to Beth and Red to explain.

See... Kim was registered here, at least back at the old dorms. We were cross-hall neighbors, with her bunking with Red and I with Mokey.
Course, things have changed somewhat since then.

*To Kim. Rully glad to see you here. If you wanna sign up, I'd advise you to check the Muppet Listings for someone you'd want as a roomie, making sure they haven't been taken yet. Would also advise to wait till September, since there might be some shuffling done then.
Well, hope everyone has a great afternoon... Gonna do some fanfic reading for a while.

Lew! Lew!

Lew: Yes Ryan?

Will you please try to keep your boomerang fish out of the oven?!?

Lew: Sorry Ryan, Martin and I were playing hide and seek!

Why don't you and Martin go to the pool and play while UD and I finish dinner? Okay?

Lew: Sure! Come on Eduardo!

Who's Eduardo?

Lew: It's our penguin silly! I named him!

Oh boy. I'm living with a blue dragon like thing, a penguin named Eduardo, and a boomerang fish thrower.

Eduardo: Yeah, but life's never boring!

*Ed pulls out a cue card that says "LOL"*

So... Should I feel honored Ryan?
Oh well...

Hey Rowlf, where you want the piano, in the common room or in your own room? Thought you had one in your room already. Hmmm, just LMK and we can come to some sort of arrangement.

On the upside... Heard that OMGCNFO indeed received their shipment of Uncle Deadly figures, only half though, and started fulfilling orders. But to make matters... well, they also got their shipment of the Penguin 2-packs of figures. They were working hard to get as much done as possible before leaving for the convention in San Diego this weekend this afternoon.
Sure hope our figures are on their way.

Well, already had dinner. Think I'll take a bath and make the bed before settling in for Monday Night Raw.
Have a good time down at the pools Lew.

Oh OK. Well, since there's a grand organ in the third floor common room... Wonder how it is Uncle Deadly hasn't found it yet.
Guess we could have a piano in the second floor common room. But do you think it'd be better to have it out in the lobby instead? I mean, that way, new people either visitors or boarders come and hear the music and get a good down-home sort of feeling.
Oh well, it's your call Rowlf and Aaron... Whatever you prefer. Just leave a note and I'll try to get it taken care of tomorrow.

Hi Ernie101, glad to have you back here at MC. Oh, and before I forget, here's a dorms bulletin.

To All who are interested in joining the Dorms:
The MC Dorms will be celebrating its 1st anniversary this September 2005. In elebration of which, I'll be contacting all the dormers to get their ideas on personalized robes for themselves and their Muppet roommates. As a result, it may be that some who've been here since last year and haven't posted in a long time might decide to move out thus leaving some Muppets without roommates in the resulting shuffle.
So, I'd appreciate if anyone interested in joining the dorms remain a visitor till September when there are any news to add to this bulletin.

Hope this isn't an inconvenience to you all and have a great time at the dorms!

Bo(mc): Why look at that, a news flash
Beau: But without pain.

Bo(mc): No, not a Muppet News Flash!
Beau: *blinks* Ri-ght...

Yes, and here's another.
Count: That's 2, 2 MC Dorms news flashes!

Yeah, and this'll make you happy buddy. Well, it'll make me happy.
Got a package in the mail about an hour ago. Grover's leaving the mail earlier these days.
Count: That's, what... 1 package ve vere hexpecting?
Yep, just need the others to start coming also. This one has a few more figures for the Muppets collection from a deal I did on the boards. So fire up the ol' calculator and let's get to updating the collection counts and displays.
Count: I love statistics too!

See you guys later, gotta take stock of my haul.

theprawncracker
07-12-2005, 03:03 PM
Which fig did ya get Ed? Not bein' nosey or anything, just wondered if it was UD.

UD: You rang?

No, I was asking Ed if he got the fig of you in the mail today.

UD: Ahh!

Hey! It's Rowlf at the piano! And look, Beau and Bo talking! And Beth and Red talking! Look at all the people here at the dorms UD!

UD: Truly marvelous to see everyone participating!

Uh huh! Well, I need to go post a new chapter of a certain fan-fiction! See ya!

The Count
07-12-2005, 03:26 PM
Nope. That'd be hoping too much. But I trust my UD figures will get here soon, and maybe with my Penguins too. Will probably end up ordering the Flashback version later to get two normal-painted ghosts. Orderd the SO version before hearing it'd have a clear Ghost and Skull. Would want to get an extra ghost for the photo of the family album entry and for better symmetry regarding my figure display plans.

What I did get, has me just as pleased though. Made a deal with someone on the boards and I got: AK3, Toys R' Us Tux Kermit, Ghost of Sam Arrow, Holiday Rizzo Red Jacket to go with the Green Jacket I already had, and an extra Super Beaker. The extra Super Beaker stands up perfectly, just what I was looking for! Gotsta let him dry out first though, tacky paint in a few small spots you know. And this means the only holiday figure left is the Henson Holiday Kermit... And the Holiday Kermit and Robin from the proposed 2005 calendar that never will be, but I plan to try to get as much done by means of customs with my one-man crew.
Oh well, hope this answers your questions Rye.
Count: That's 99 out of 129 Muppets action figures items in our collection!
Yep, and I'm finally starting the castle collection fright. No more wishy-washy buildups from me, just gonna go with my gut instincts and the batty beauties I can find by name online at a certain website.

*Not revealing sources nor plans just yet, don't wanna build up hype only to let you and myself down again.
**Just disregard the Help with Numbers thread, working on my own thing now, but thanks for all the replies there.

Oh yeah, also gotsta start contacting dormers for the robes. Busy busy busy, that's us down here in Room #1.
Have a good afternoon guys.

Herry: I know I've liked it here. I would never leave you Kyle. I love to many people here and my friends.

Well, just compared my Holiday Rizzos... And it turns out I have two of the red-sleeved ones. Will try to negotiate a trade for the green-sleeved one. So, till further news or the other packages arrive, it's 98 of 129 items I have.
But the good thing is the Super Beaker. Man, so great to have him standing perfectly.
And the other project, the Batty Beauties, will be starting to roll off the electronic brain onto the computer files. Will send a complete batch to my artist friend, once the batch's done.

I'll be contacting everyone soon, have a good time guys.

Ambrosius!

Oh hey Kyle. Thank Grover for me when you finally do see him. Yeah, got the bulk of the collection divided into the left side of my double shelving unit, with a couple of the righthand shelves taken up. But the ones in the middle are awaiting their SS residents. Then there are the MOC repaints and exclusives in the closet, a few on my computer desk, and the single-boxed and industry exclusives on the shelf above with the big 2-pack boxes.
Good thing I planned ahead and have space for as complete a collection as possible. Hope you guys enjoy your meal, we already ate a couple of meat combo sandwiches.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been around, and I know this isn't the first (or even second time) I've abandoned the dorms. It just seems that when I have limited time this is one of the places I feel I have to give up. With my computer acting up, it's tough to try to read a bunch of posts or make a long reply.

Link: That's no excuse, Doc. I'm shaking off dust over here.

Me: Yeah, I'm sorry about that, old buddy. Hope you're not too mad at me.

Link: As long as I get something to eat I'll be fine.

Me: Well, let's check our inventory. (In our room looking on shelves and in drawers). Hmmm, a bunch of junk food. Sorry, but all we have are old Oatmeal Cream Pies and Swiss Cake Rolls.

Link: All's forgiven (grabs the boxes from my hands and chows down).

Hey hey, Ryan my man. What's shakin'? Good timing, the dorms will be celebrating its 1st anniversary in September. You planning on staying with Link as your roomie? If so, LMK. And don't forget to send me a PM or E-mail with the design for your own individualized dorm robe, and the design for a robe for your roommate also. Started contacting Dorm residents about this, but everyone who replies directly helps lessen the list of names I gotta hit up with the mail.

Oh, there might be some vacancies created due to this, but we'll sort that out when the time comes. Which is why I'm doin' this now.
Anyway, glad to have you back. And if you want, feel free to leave a list of groceries you may need for the dorms or your room. The shopping will get done on the weekend and the stuff will go to whoever ordered what. Then again, you might wanna do some food shopping yourself down at the local supermarket.

Hope to see you round the dorms more often Ryan and Link.

Wakey, wakey, eggs and bacey. Good morning everyone (whoops, probably should wait to shout out my greetings. People are still sleeping . Shhh).

Wow, the dorms really filled up over the year. Looks like I've missed out on getting to know a lot of people. Maybe this coming year I'll be a better poster.

Good question. And I'm not even really sure I like this last chapter. It's short. See, most chapters are about ten to twelve pages when I write them in my notebook. This one is only seven and a half.

Chef: Su vhet ere-a yuoo gueeng tu du?

Well, I think I'll leave that chapter how it is. I like how it ends. But after that... <sigh>. After that, I have absolutely no control over the story.

I never have, but I've been able to fake it pretty well. Anyways, I'll just have to let the characters write it for me. In the meantime, let's go for a walk. That usually helps.

Hey Link, I feel sticky. Must be the humidity.

Link: Nope. I think it's the maple syrup you managed to dribble all over yourself this morning.

Me: Oh right, I forgot about that. That's the last time I try to make my own waffles.

Link: Or maybe you should just try holding the syrup over your plate rather than your head.

Me: Gee Link, forgive me for saying so, but for such a thick-headed lurch you sure are thinking sharply right now.

Link: I have to be. The latest space shuttle launch was cancelled and I have to be ready for a call-up.

Me: You mean they'll come to you for advice on how to repair the shuttle?

Link: Well, no. But they might call me for advice on how to look good on television. It's a cutthroat endeavor, you know.

Me: Actually, I don't know. I'm not an international television star like yourself.

Link: And don't you forget it.

Don't worry bout it Doc. Though I read HP4, it was a recording for my local handicapped person's library. Would rully prefer to get the official recording with Jim Dale's voices. Gotten used to his wonderful work, can spot his Hermoine instantly now. And I especially like his Dobby, makes it sound like an older person instead of the badly-done childish voice from the second movie.

Hey, wait a sec... You got three additional customs done? Oooh, you'll have to show us Doc. And I'd love to get... er, see how my one-man crew's doing. At least the Super Link figure's done, just need the accessories he's working on. After that, Skeeter's in line and maybe the Piano too. We'll see. Just thinking that you and Quinn and the others do this so well and so fast. But at least I have a guy, that's the important thing.
OK, enough rambling... Good night everyone.

May I ask a question, Count? Forgive me if this is offensive or if it's been asked before, but how exactly, since you are admittidly nearly blind, do you read the posts here at Muppet Central? If it's a sensitive matter, I apologize and will never bring it up again.

Hey, wait a sec... You got three additional customs done? Oooh, you'll have to show us Doc. And I'd love to get... er, see how my one-man crew's doing. You're having Muppet Babies done?? That's awesome! My customs now include the following figures (for better or for worse, as far as quality is concerned):

Baskerville the Hound
Mahna Mahna
Slim Wilson (aka Jerry of Lobbuck Lou's Jug Band)
Foo Foo
Irving Bizarre
Rubber Band Man (actually discarded him today, he was too awful)
Patrol Bear Link
Steppin' Out Beauregard
Steppin' Out Pops
Steppin' Out Sam Eagle
Miss Piggy (long hair, dress shortened and dress and shoes painted engine red)
Penguin
S3 Rowlf as Dr. Bob

As soon as I learn about such dag-nabbed contraptions known as cameras and computers I'll try to get some pictures posted. Have a great night!

The Count
07-17-2005, 06:14 AM
To answer a few of your questions Doc...

1 Nope, not Muppet Babies what I'll work on with my one-man crew. It'll be a grown-up version of Skeeter using an S3 Scooter as the base.
2 Though there might be an occasional custom added to the mix, I'll pretty much be working with my one-man crew on building up the collection by working on the "would've been" 2005 lineups Ken posted a while back with a bit of shifting around on my part to fit everything and everyone.
3 As for reading the posts here on MC... Don't worry bout it, everyone who asks makes it one more person who knows, and that's what's truly important. Got a program called JAWS For Windows, a screen-reader program, which reads what it is I type on the computer screen. Also reads the text on the computer screen, and helps me when I'm working on the machine. So thanks to JAWS, I'm able to join all of you guys here on the forums and communicate my thoughts and read posts and everything else.
Hope that answers your questions Doc.

Also, you used an S3 Tux Rowlf for Doctor Bob? How'd it turn out? Thinking that S3 Tux Rowlf would inevitably be the best source figure for a Dr. Bob figure but wasn't sure.
Let us know as soon as you can how you made these great figures. And I might have something to share very soon as well.

Docnzhoss
07-17-2005, 09:44 AM
Hey Count, regarding your question about Dr. Bob:

As many people know by now, Rowlf is my favorite Muppet. I wanted to customize a Rowlf figure to honor my favorite sketch: Veterinarian's Hospital. I happened to have two S3 Rowlfs, so I went ahead with the project. However, due to Rowlf's soaring value and scarcity, I did not feel comfortable hacking away and painting up such a beautiful figure. So I went out and bought some fabric. I designed, fitted, cut and stitched my very own set of scrubs, so Rowlf essentially became a dress-up doll. It's all removable, so no mess and no fuss. As I said, it was my first attempt at a custom figure and I'm not much of a seamster, so Dr. Bob is a little sloppy-looking. But he does look good in front of an operating table with a Swedish Kitchen saw accessory in his hand. ;)

As for JAWS, that sounds like wonderful technology. I'm really glad it's around to enable a good friend to hang around and give us enjoyable conversation and useful tips and information here at MC.

Thanks for the lo' down Doc. The ol' computer's been acting up this morning, hopefully my brother will come in later this afternoon and give it a check up from the neck up.

Anyway... The Super Link custom my one-man crew made has some fabrics as well. The sleeves, pants, cape and scarf are all made out of cloth he used. The good thing is that the articulation's intact and the cloth doesn't get damaged with the movements. Will probably show it off over at the PT booard since we can't attach pictures here.
As for Skeeter, it's a grown-up version what I'm planning. Gonna give my guy the extra S3 Scooter to work with it. Gonna give him the extra First Mate Piggy so he can study it when making the head of red hair for Skeeter, and my Janice repaint so he can study the female Muppet body. The clothes will be given a repaint and some of the accessories will be painted as well. After that, who knows what'll be next on the docket. Reason I'm going ahead with this one next is so my display shelves can be perfectly uniform... At least, the Main Cast shelf.
That one would have Rowlf, Sam, Statler and his chair, two Ghosts, Waldorf and his chair, Phil van Neuter, and S9 Swedish Chef in the back row.
Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Scooter, Modern Gonzo, Uncle Deadly, Skeeter, Bunsen, Beaker, and Johnny would make up the middle row. Not sure if it'd be Modern Gonzo and UD or UD and then Modern Gonzo. Have to wait for the figures to arrive to see whether UD would block Waldorf from sight behind him.
And the front row would have Robin (from the RC Kermit set), the Penguins, Pepe, Rizzo, Camilla, Yorick, the veggies from the RC Kermit set, the Steel Rabbit, Rizzo's pizza box and the Dancing Slinkies, and then the last spot reserved for Sal should he be made.
Course, there could be a bit of shifting involved with that layout, but that's the basic idea.

Have plans for other customs and how to store/display them in the double shelving unit I have.
Hope your collection keeps growing, and we'll talk later Doc.

To Bo (MC): Well... My brother's the one who has the photos of my Super Link custom figure. Since he lives with his girlfriend in a separate apartment, I'm waiting for his next visit back home to see if we can work on getting them named and saved onto the master CD in a new folder. Course, my customizer might be coming by tomorrow to hand in the accessories for the figure, and then we'll have to photograph those as well. But it'll be worth it since the figure would be completed with the custom accessories. If you're talking about the custom Steppin' Out Beauregard figure, Docnzhoss is the one who has that figure. Oh well, good day to you all.

*Opens door to find Grover in his postal uniform to deliver a big box. Thanks Grover, didn't hexpect it today.

*Drops a couple of quarters in Grover's pouch and thanks him.

Hey Count! Got another one in.
Count: Vhat did ve get?
Let's see. *Opens box and deals with packing material.

OK, now then... Oh great! iIt's the big one, the one we've been waiting for!
Got the PCC tin with GITD Reporter Kermit and the 2 FSL Kermits.
Count, please tell me which colors the frog scouts are.

Count: They're both green.
Oh well, that's why I bought two to trade one later.
Count: So this makes it 101 of 129 items?
Yep. Come on, let's get some food and celebrate.

Chef: Elreeght, Leesa, noo tell me-a ebuoot yuoor veekend! Pleese-a.

Alright. Let's go to the common room where whoever wants to hear can hear.

Chef: ok

<we go to floor 1 common room and plop on a couch>

Ok, so Friday we went to Chicago. First we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. My mom and sisters wanted to see that "Body Worlds" exhibit, but it sounded kind of gross, so while they did that my dad and I sort of wandered around and found ourselves at the Fairy Castle. It was SO COOL. It's so... just... I don't know, there's something just magical about it, and I loved it so much! Although my dad looked kind of bored. So anyway, we all met up again and we saw the re-done U-505 exhibit.

Chef: Isn't thet zee oone-a yuoo'fe-a beee telkeeng ebuoot fur a cuoople-a veeks noo? Hoo ves thet?

Yeah, it is. It was SO AWESOME, Chef! I mean you walk in and the first thing you see is the bow like right at the level it would be at if it was at the surface in water, and it just floors you! And you walk all the way around it, and it... it's so awesome! And about halfway down the ramp- because there's a ramp that leads you down and around the sub- they stopped us to take a picture. And we just sort of popped into position so that we could all see, and then when we got the picture we realized we were so color-coordinated and balanced and it was actually a good picture of us, so we bought it. And anyway we took the tour through it, and it was SO incredible! They made it really easy to imagine that you're actually on it during the voyage and when it was captured. They play all the sounds you would hear during the typical day, and what you would hear when they fired a torpedo, and when you got farther up they play what you would have heard while it was being captured, and it was so cool! And you know what the best part was?

Chef: Vhet?

The German! There's still all the labels of what everything is, all written in German, and I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to read and translate all of it! And I understood so much of it! It was awesome! Like, in the exhibit, outside of the actual submarine, there was this can of soup or something on display, and I could understand some of the cooking directions printed on it! It was so cool!

Chef: <sarcastic> I cun tell yuoo deedn't injuy it et ell.

<rolls eyes> So we wandered the museum some more, had lunch and all, and then we went to Navy Pier. We went on the Ferris Wheel, and then we just sort of meandered to the end and hung out there for a bit. Then we went back where there was a band playing, hung out there, munched on stuff, you know. And then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. And they must have been having a rough night or something, because from the time we walked in to the time we got our food, it was almost two hours. It was good food, but it wasn't worth a two hour wait. Anyway, we got home around eleven, and we were dead tired. But of course our dog, Cinnamon, had been alone all day and she wanted to play. So I'm in bed trying to sleep and she's barking at my sister! But she stopped after a while and I got a pretty good nights sleep. Especially considering that the neighbors were apparently having a party next door, and I was too tired to even hear them. Although I think they were being exceptionally quiet. Anyway, all that is just one day, and I've got two more to talk about, so let's take a bit of a break, shall we?

Chef: Suoonds guud tu me-a.

Wow, sounds great Lisa. Have some memories of a brief stop my family made in Chitown back in 91, en route to our trip through Eastern Canada. So... You want some popcorn or something to drink? Need to keep that throat hydrated for you to tell us the rest of the story.

More story please!

(I walk into the dorm building to see if there are any rooms available. I have only been here a couple times before just to scope out the place but never intended to stay. Maybe this time I will want to stay a while.) Hmm...I wonder what people do here. (I wander around the halls and stop in front of a door with the name "Count Von Count" on it.) Very curious. (I knock on the door to see who is inside and maybe whoever is can help me.) *knock knock*

What? Our room's door has a nameplate on it? Thought just the big number 1 was there with the bat-shaped knocker. Oh well, I'll be right back, gonna check who it is.

*Wanders over and finds Bear. Hey Bear (MC), great to have you here. Thinking of joining? Well, we're currently in the midst of planning for the anniversary celebration. There might be some Muppets in search of new roomies, if it is that their previous roommates decide to leave the dorms. You're second on the waiting list... That is, if you wish to join us as a member here at the dorms?

Then again, if you have a Muppet character in mind as your roommate, then LMK and I can set you up in one of the vacant rooms. LMK via PM or E-mail if you need help here at the dorms.

Gonna keep contacting people about the celebration, have a good time during your stay, as short or as long as it may be.

Oh hey Kathy, welcome back! Glad you're safe and sound, that's always good. Thanks Ed, but I don't think I need anything to drink at the moment.

Chef: Zeen tell us mure-a!

Alright, alright. So Saturday we were originally going to go for our bike ride, but my big sister somehow got scheduled to work on Sunday and she wasn't sure if she would be able to get someone to cover her shift, so we rearranged our schedule a bit so she could come to the Dells with us. So we went to Wisconsin Dells on Saturday. We left the house about a quarter to eleven, stopped for lunch at a Subway... er, the restaurant, not the... um... form of transportation... anyway, I was thinking that since it was a three and a half hour drive there, I could take my notebook with and write another chapter or so of my fanfic, but we ended up spending a lot of the time taking this "know your body" quiz or something like that, it was in my sister's book. <shrug> It was kind of interesting, but it got kind of old. Anyway, we got to the Dells, and right away bought tickets to the Tommy Bartlett show and the ducks.

Chef: Doocks? Yuoo buooght teeckets tu see-a doocks? Leeke-a, zee burds?

No, not to see ducks as in birds. To ride in ducks as in amphibious army vehicles built for World War II. It's one of those things that you just sort of have to do if you go to Wisconsin Dells. Some sort of unwritten rule. Anyway, we went on the ducks first thing. The driver was really nice, she told us all sorts of information and Fozzie Bear quality jokes. It was fun! And then we walked around the shopping area of ... I guess you'd call it "down town Wisconsin Dells". When we finished with all that, we still had about an hour before we figured we needed to eat dinner to get to the Tommy Bartlett show in time. So we went miniature golfing! We only did ten holes, but it was fun. I did the worst, but you know what? I don't care. I enjoyed it. So then for dinner we went to a place called... what was it... Damon's, I think? It was a nice sit down family restaurant, really good food, great service, not too expensive. So we ate and headed for the Tommy Bartlett show. We got there, got a good parking place, and realized there was a path to get to a Harley-Davidson accessory shop that we had wanted to go to. See there's this unwritten rule that says that when you own a Harley-Davidson, which my dad does now, every time you go to a place that sells Harley stuff, you have to buy a t-shirt or something that specifies which place it is. Well, since we still had some time before the show started and it had already been determined where our seats were, we went to the Harley place.

Chef: Su, yuoor treep ves besed lergely oon unvreettee rooles?

Um... yeah, I guess so. But anyway, Dad got a shirt that says "Harley-Davidson Wisconsin Dells," and the guy who was working there... well, you know how conversations can go sometimes, and my mom's shirt business came up, and he offered to display her business cards. So she's going to send him some, which is pretty cool. Then we went to the Tommy Bartlett show, which was SO COOL! I mean, they ski in pyramids, and backwards, and without skis... it's so awesome to watch! And then there was a fifteen minute intermission, and the second half had a juggler. He was pretty darn funny, and he had his seven-year old son come on stage and ride a unicycle, and then his four-year old son came on and danced a little and did a little unicycle riding. Then there was a sixteen-foot metal globe that a couple guys rode motorcycles in. That was awesome. And there were a three people who- well, as the announcer put it, they juggled each other with their feet. It was very cool to watch. And then there was a laser show, which was okay except that by that time I kind of had a headache, so I didn't really appreciate the first half of it. But then they put up this sheet, and used the lasers to do sort of a music video type thing while playing... um... shoot, I don't know what the song's called! You know the one, it's... "And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free, and I won't forget the men who died and gave that right to me..." That one. It gave me goosebumps, it was so amazing! Anyway, it was a three and a half hour drive home, so I wrote a little with my personal light, then when it started bother my sister- she was driving- I wrote some more using my cell phone for light. Anyway, we got home, and the neighbors were having another one of their "Let's get drunk at sing at the top of our lungs till sometime after four in the morning" parties, and when they're like that I can hear them in my room like they're two feet away. So I took my pillows, my blanket, and a big sheet and went to the couch downstairs, where I usually can't hear them. But they were being REALLY loud, so I could still hear them. So I took everything and went to the basement, where there's this big foam pad, and I slept on that. Of course as soon as I got all settled, the dehumidifier came on for a little bit, and that's pretty loud, too. But I ended up getting a good night's sleep, which <yawn> is exactly what I could use about now. So how about if I tell you about yesterday, tomorrow?

Chef: Elreeght. Um de hur de hur de hur. Sleep's impurtunt, tuu.

That it is. Goodnight, everybody!

Chef: Guudneeght!

*Sees her snoozing away in the common room couch.

Well... It's been a little busy here at the dorms. Taken some orders for robes, got the pieces from my customizer friend, gave him the pieces/figures for the next project...

Yep, a good day, especially what with the thunder off in the distance from the storm raining down right now. At last... 1 entry from the "Would've Been" 2005 calendar of Muppet figures is finished... Super Link.
Once I get the pics organized, I'll submit them to Quinn and everyone can see them there.

BTW: All those of you who still haven't put in your order for your robes, I'd advise you to send 'em in. Who knows if we'll have time once September rolls around to get everything coordinated for the celebrations.
Just hoping to hear from some peoples is all.

Chef: Leesa! Zeere-a yuoo ere-a! Vhere-a hefe-a yuoo beee ell dey?

Didn't I leave a note?

Chef: Nu!

Oh, I meant to leave a note. I'm sorry Chef. I was helping around my synagogue's new building, you know, getting rid of weeds and stuff.

Chef: Oh, elreeght. Um de hur de hur de hur. Vell, ere-a yuoo gueeng tu tell us ebuoot vhet yuoo und yuoor femeely deed oon Soondey?

Well, if you insist. We borrowed a bicycle from a friend of ours, since there's five of us and we only own four, and we rode on the Des Plaines River Trail. Went from our house to a little past Independence Grove, turned around, ate lunch at Independance Grove, and came home. It was a total of 26.4 miles. Then all five of us managed to shower, change, and get out the door in less than forty minutes, and we headed down to Grandma's house for dinner. See a lot of my family that lives in Colorado is in town, and they're staying with Grandma, so we figured we'd drop in. We brought Cinnamon, too, she likes going there. Except that it was so weird for Roxy to not be there. She and Cinnamon were kind of friends, so for a little while Cinnamon was definately looking for her. I really missed her, too. But after dinner, a whole bunch of us went to the park near Grandma's house, and that was fun. Except for when my cousin's son disapearred. Apparently he thought we were going back, so he started walking, and then we couldn't find him and we were getting worried. But I guess he realized that none of us were walking back, and he came back to the park. He got grounded, but we were just glad to find him again, you know? And then we had dessert, of course, because you can't go to Grandma's and not have dessert. Trust me, it's next to impossible. We got home around eleven or so, and there were no disruptions to my sleep at all, and we all lived happily ever after. Oh wait, that's the wrong story, I don't know if we lived happily ever after yet.

Chef: ...reeght. Um de hur de hur de hur... vell, I'm gled yuoo hed foon. Bork bork bork!

Me too. It was nice for us to all be together for a change. Well, I should go figure out this last chapter. It's being kind of a pain to write.

Chef: Vhy? Vhet heppens?

I'm not telling!

Chef: Pleese-a?

No. If I tell you, you won't have any reason to read it.

Chef: Feene-a

So you know, I'm helping out at the synagogue again tomorrow. Oh, and don't let me forget to do laundry! I'm all out of clean clothes.

Chef: Elreeght. Um de hur de hur de hur. Hefe-a foon vreeting zee lest chepter. Hurty flurty schnipp schnipp!

I'll certainly try.

(TA, Marvin Suggs and Dr. Julius T. Strangepork come bashing down the hallway, simultaneously waking everyone on the floor up and causing the motion-detector alarm to go off. Marvin grabs a mallet and swings at the control panel, causing it to both shut off and make the lights brighter by a marked amount. Strangepork opens the door to the dorm, and they all walk in.)

TA: Marvin, did it really take this long to arrange a Muppaphone funeral?

MS: A-yes, it does! Zere are many things which I must-a do in order to have a Muppaphone's funeral be a proper one!

TA: Like...

MS: Well, I must-a make sure they are really flat!

TA: Yes, I know that, but it doesn't ordinarily take that long to find a good vice grip!

MS: Ordinarily, no, but I must-a find one suited for use with my Muppaphones!

TA: Well, whatever, but you delayed the move a long while.

JS: Yeah, he did! Anyway, I say we all move in.

TA: Good plan, Julius. Hey Marv, when is Phil coming along?

MS: Vell, I zent him along to pick up my Muppaphones from their kennel!

TA: Yeah, another thing. About that Acapulco getaway...

MS: Never mind that.

(Suddenly, a very loud screech followed by a "BANG" is heard from outside the building, causing everyone that had just fallen asleep to wake up again.)

JS: Well, that should be Phil right about now!

MS: How can you tell?

TA: Must be that car of his! I wonder why he ever bought that lemon? Must be a real fool to do something like that! Hah hah hah...

(A calvacade of "OW"s is heard coming from the hall, followed by a loud "CLACK".)

PN: Quiet, you stupid things! Now don't make me bang on your cage again.

MS: My babies have arrived! (runs into hallway) Hello, Muppaphones! I'm back, and you'd better know it!

MP: (quietly, to themselves) Oh no, it's him...

MS: Now come on, you silly creatures. Let's-a go into our new home!

MP: (upon seeing the dorm) Wow...

MS: Now you will be sleeping in this cage for a while!

MP: ... oh, no!

(Phil walks into the room)

PN: Hey, everyone! I'm here!

TA: Hey, Phil, great to have you! Why don't you take that bed over there next to Julius, you guys can share science tales before you go to bed!

JS: Yeah Phil, come on over! There's a few tech equipment catalogues over there on my nightstand. Bought 'em off Jamie Hyneman, you know, the "Mythbusters" guy?

PN: Hey, that's wonderful! And I like your space lamp.

TA: Anyway fellas, get settled in. I'm gonna go set up the computer and call my ma, I'm sure she'd love to hear. (He leaves into the next room.)

JS, PN: (in unison) The computer? Wait for me! (They follow TA.)

MS: (waits until they're gone, then rubs his hands) Did you-a hear that, Muppaphones? We're-a all alone!

*Coming in... That's OK Ryan. Maybe That Announcer can help you get your new computer installed at your place. If UD wants to come downstairs and visit/stay with us, that'd be OK. Or the roomies could go with to your new place to make sure it's Muppety enough.

As for the dorm's anniversary... Been contacting people, waiting for replies from That Announcer, Harvey Towers, Frogster, sugarbritchez, and Fozzie Bear.
Hoping they'll answer soon. Oh, and there are currently 2 vacancies, bit guys from TMS.
Not sure if I should post who it is just yet. Was thinking that as a privilege to those already here, registered dormers should have first crack at deciding if they want to switch current roomies for either of these two. Then again, maybe it would be fairer to let everyone know and let new visitors interested in joining have a shot at these two guys also.

We'll see what happens, if people start posting like mad for me to reveal the two current vacancies. We'll see...
